Chapter 2: "He wants me to marry him?"

I woke up to see that Brendon wasn't sleeping next to me. Where was he? I used the bathroom, brushed my teeth, then went downstairs. There was a note on the counter.

Sarah, I'm at my house cooking us breakfast. Please bring syrup when you're coming. Kylie forgot to get some and no one can eat pancakes without syrup. Make sure to also bring your warm smile because I don't know how else I'm going to start my day without it.
- Brendon

I grabbed syrup from one of the cabinets and walked to Brendon's house.

"Brendon?" I said as I walked inside.

"In here Sarah!" Brendon shouted from the kitchen.

I gave him a big hug.

"Could you please turn on my speakers, Sarah?" Brendon asked me.

I turned on his speakers and Frank Sinatra started playing. Brendon began to sing along. I was in shock of how amazing his voice was.

"Wow! You are a great singer Brendon," I said as a big smile formed on my face.

"Nah, you should hear me play Bohemian Rhapsody instead. Haha." Brendon said along with a wink.

"You're already planning our second date? What next? You'll be picking out the wedding cake? Hahaha." I said with a smirk on my face.

Brendon laughed as well but he brought up Kylie into the conversation.

"What's funny is that I actually have to go taste cakes for me and Kylie's wedding on Sunday but she's going to be busy. She was called in to work that day. Would you like to come with me to taste cakes?" Brendon asked me as a small smile slowly started to form.

I couldn't say no to Brendon. I just wanted to make him happy. I never imagined someone I just met ask me to go taste cakes with them for their wedding, this was new to me.

"That sounds great Brendon. I think I'll join you," I said with a smile.

"Thank you. I wouldn't want to be doing that alone." Brendon said.

I put my plate into the sink and began to wash the dishes.

"No, no, no, no!" Brendon shouted at me.

"What? What's wrong?" I asked in confusion.

"I will wash everything." Brendon said as emphasized 'I'.

"Well, aren't you just a sweetheart?" I said to him as I poked his cheek.

Brendon wrapped his arms around my waist.

"It's just called being a good fiance," Brendon said with a wink.

"Well, Kylie is very lucky to have a gentleman like you," I said to him.

"Thanks. I appreciate it. Really," Brendon said as he smiled back at me.

I would do anything to be the woman who marries Brendon Urie.

"So what is your plan for today?" I asked Brendon.

"I'm meeting up with my friend today. He just got back from touring," Brendon said as he put his arm around me.

"Touring?" I said with curiousity.

"Yeah. Have you ever heard of twenty one pilots?" Brendon asked me.

"Yes! I love them!" I said with a big smile on my face.

"I'm meeting up with Josh today," Brendon said like it was no big deal.

"You're friends with Josh?" I asked in shock.

"Yeah, me and Josh are ti-i-i-ight. Yow!" Brendon said as broke out into song.

Brendon started playing twenty one pilots from his phone. We were both jamming out to their newest album, Blurryface.

"SHE'S THE TEAR IN MY HEART! I'M ALIVE! SHE'S THE TEAR IN MY HEART! I'M ON FIRE! SHE'S THE TEAR IN MY HEART! TAKE ME HIGHER, THEN I'VE EVER BEEN!" Brendon screamed out.

I played air guitar as Brendon played air drums.

"Bow down to the queen Sarah Orzechowski!" Brendon shouted.

"How did you grow up with that last name? It's like super long and hard to pronounce. Haha," Brendon said as he put his hands on my shoulders.

"Just marry me and you'll have a simple four letter last name," Brendon said

"Sarah Urie. Doesn't that just sound so pretty?" Brendon said.

I couldn't tell if Brendon was being serious or just joking around.

"I have to admit, that does sound pretty. Haha," I said along with some giggling.

"Shut up. Stop lying to me Sarah. Haha." Brendon said.

Brendon looked at the time with a worried look on his face.

"Oh, shoot. I'm late," Brendon said as he quickly put on a nicer shirt.

"I'm so sorry. I-I should go," I said as I opened the door.

Brendon stopped me and I turned around.

"Where are you going? You want to meet Josh, don't you?" Brendon said with a smile.

I put on some nicer clothes while Brendon waited for me outside.

"You look.. great." Brendon said to me.

"Thanks. You look even greater." I said as I dusted some lint off his shirt.

Brendon started the car and drove to Josh's house.

We sang along to All Time Low the whole way there.

"You have a pretty good voice Sarah." Brendon said.

"Have you ever heard yourself sing Brendon?" I said to him.

I could tell Brendon tried to dodge my question.

"Is this his house?" I said in shock as I looked up at the big house.

"Yeah. He has a pretty nice house. Haha." Brendon said as he nudged my shoulder.

We walked up the long driveway and Brendon knocked on the front door.

"Sarah, um so don't tell him about me and Kylie getting married..." Brendon whispered to me.

"W-Wait, what? Brendon! Wh-" I said as my sentence got cut off.

Did Brendon really just say that?
