I woke up to see Dallon placing a kiss on my head. "I gotta get going Sarah. Let's figure the stuff between us later on. I'll see you at the asylum?"

"I'm not sure if I'm coming in today." I said in a groggy voice.

"Whatever. It's up to you. Bye."

Once Dallon left, I woke Josh up. He got ready and stored extra bullets in his socks. "Why do you need extra?" I asked Josh.

"You never know." Josh said with a chuckle. He threw his loaded gun into a backpack. I took a deep breath before closing the door.

"You alright Sarah? You're not re-thinking this, are you?" Josh asked me as he put a mask over his face.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just need to.. slow down my heartbeat." I said as I chuckled. "I-It just seems crazy. I'm getting Brendon back. We're gonna be together again. Wow."

"I got something that will help those nerves." Josh handed me a vodka bottle. "Some liquid poison." He said with a smirk.

"You're bad, Joshua." I said as I laughed. Josh drove us to the asylum and parked right outside the front entrance.

"You remember the plan, right?" I asked Josh as I took a gulp out of the bottle.

"Yeah. I'll be in and out of there. One gunshot."

I grabbed Josh's hand and set his watch for ten minutes. "Finding Brendon shouldn't take me anymore than ten minutes. If the ten minutes is up and I'm not here, I want you to leave. Get out of here."

"What about you? I don't wanna just leave you." Josh said with a frown.

"Josh, I can handle myself." I said as I opened the car door. I left a small peck on his cheek. "Let's do this." The ten minutes started. I rushed through the entrance, hoping no one would notice me. With the best of my luck, Dallon saw me.

"Sarah! I'm so glad you're here." Dallon said as he wrapped his arms around me. "I'm here to work Dallon." I said as I rolled my eyes.

I rushed to the rooms and quickly glanced into each one. Four minutes had passed and I still didn't find Brendon's room. The gunshot went off and it was music to my ears. Everyone rushed to the boiler room, where Josh fired the shot. There was no workers around me so I started to shout for Brendon.

"BRENDON, WHERE ARE YOU? BRENDON! BRENDON!" I screamed as I found the door to the maximum facility.

"SARAH? SARAH!" I heard a familiar voice shout.

"BRENDON, WHERE ARE YOU?"

"I'M HERE. I'M RIGHT HERE SARAH." Brendon said as he banged onto the glass that separated us.

"BRENDON!" He was in the maximum facility. It was locked shut. There was only one way in. The key. Luckily, the only person who had that key was Dallon. I ran to his office as fast as I could. I looked under all his papers for the key. I rummaged through his drawers and found a set of keys. I grabbed it and shuffled through the keys. On my fourth try, the door unlocked. Seven minutes had passed and my hands were shaking. I grabbed Brendon by the hand and I couldn't believe it. I did it. We did it. We were finally together again. We ran towards the entrance but because of the keys jangling, I didn't hear the guards walking towards the rooms to check all the patients.

"SOMEONE STOP THEM," was the last thing I remember hearing before they snatched me by the waist and Brendon ran to the car.

So here I am now. Sitting in my room, writing this story. In the maximum facility, I might add. It's pretty classy in here. Yup, I got a notepad and pencil from someone. I already have my hookups. It's been a month since the incident and I miss Brendon. I miss my life. Most nights, I think about Brendon's voice in my ear. His daring voice, that I just loved. I miss that the most. This was the first and last time I fell in love. I'll say this last thing, love makes you do crazy things. Just don't be crazy enough to get yourself locked in an asylum.

AHAHA i threw you guys off by saying i'm finishing maniac by the end of this week hehe but thank you all sooo much. for all the votes and comments on this story. without this story, i wouldn't have known what to do when i have an urge to write lol. maniac has been very fun to write and tbh i didn't expect people to actually care about my story bUT YOU GUYS DO AND I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!
