The right time
Mangle's POV
After a long journey from the quiet outskirts of New York into the city, we arrive at Foxy's house. As he pulls up outside, I feel a sense of homeliness pull the corners of my mouth into a smile looking at the house. It may sound weird but..I feel more at home at Foxy's house than my own. My house just feels like it doesn't belong to me anymore;
It belongs to my aunt; a stranger to me who hasn't even arrived yet. It belongs to a man who broke into my house and attacked me, a man who tortured me, a man who is now dead.
But..This house belongs to the person closest to my heart, someone who has protected me through everything, someone who has and still does love me through all the trials and tribulations we go through.
It belongs to only good memories.
I let out a happy sigh, it wasn't my house..but it felt like a home.
Foxy opened up the car door for me with a smile on his face that mirrored mine,
"Madamé?" He said bowing his head slightly.
I giggled, stepping out the car and nodding to him, "Mer-Cí." We both made our way down the stone path to his front door, his arm around my shoulders. I noticed a curious smirk played on his lips as I looked up at him glancing down at me.
"What are you thinking, babe?" I said waiting for his usual cheeky remark. Foxy chuckled,
"Just how sexy it sounds when you speak French, babe." He winked at me and I couldn't help but laugh, "Oh really?" I replied looking up at him and copying his smirk. "Hmm.. Je vais devoir rappeler que." I said smugly, letting the words roll off my tongue which I knew would catch him off guard.
His eyes widened as the words left my lips.
"Wait you can- like seriously-..Oh of course you can speak french fuckin' perfectly." Foxy said face palming his hand over his eyes. I giggled at his expression and as we reached the door, I stopped to face him properly with a smirk still plastered on my face.
"Il y a beaucoup de choses que je peux faire, Adams." I said knowing full-well my voice sounded damn good right now, and also seeing it was driving him crazy with his eyes widening ever so slightly, a twinkle of something in them, a blush and a sheepish look on his face.
"I don't know what you just said, but fucking hell Mang.." He chuckled with a low tone, running his fingers through his hair.
Mwahahaha..He's going to hate me for this.
I grabbed the collar of his shirt and gently pulled him towards me, our faces only inches apart as I looked him right in those golden eyes of his. His blush had now deepened.
I moved my head to the side of his so my lips were almost touching his ear,
"Maintenant, ouvre déjà la porte, Idioté.." I whispered slowly, almost immediately feeling the heat on his cheeks and seeing the chills go down his spine as he stood next to me. I pulled my head away to face him, only to see his jaw about to hit the floor as he silently stuttered for words.
"-In other words, open the damn door already, idiot." I laughed unable to contain myself anymore. Foxy suddenly shook his head with his eyebrows lowering for a second and then rising in realisation.
"OH, COME ON!" Foxy yelled into his palms as they covered his face. By this point I'd lost it, gripping my sides and trying hard not to fall to the floor. "HAHAHA! T-That was so funny!" I wheezed, noticing his pouty frown and crossed arms, "Aaahh..I'm sorry Adams, that was just too easy."
Foxy looked at me with his frown turning into a smile as I gave him a peck on the cheek.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever..Seriously, where'd you learn to speak french?" He said looking for his keys.
"Tutoring when I was younger, plus I'm taking it in school. It looks good for colleges when students can speak more than one language." I answered while Foxy unlocked the door,
"-And hey, the boyfriend also loves it." Foxy chuckled, looking at me with a smirk.
Foxy opens up the front door. We both step into the hallway, Foxy flicks a switch that casts a warm light on the dark room.
As he does, a loud shuffling sound comes from upstairs along with something rapidly scraping against the wood. I look up at Foxy with a nervous expression, my hand automatically grabbing onto his as my chest began to move much more obviously up and down with each breath out of panic. Foxy takes a few cautious steps towards the stairs with a serious look on his face. Fortunately, our uneasiness was put to rest at the sight of a very excited Champ bounding down the stairs towards us, his tongue hanging out and barking happily.
Me and Foxy both grin at him, "Hey buddy!" I say as he locks his hazel brown eyes with mine, when he finally reaches the bottom of the stairs he practically leaps into my arms.
I laugh while he licks the side of my face repeatedly and I hold him in my arms,
"Aww, did you miss me boy?" The dog barks in response. Foxy smiles at us both and scratches behind Champ's ear, "I think he's missed his Mommy." I beam up at Foxy and then down at Champ, kissing his forehead. "I missed him too, he's getting so big lately..I'm sure daddy's taking good care of him." I smile as Champ's tail wags. I notice Foxy grinning and then slyly slink an arm around my waist, "Daddy, huh?"
I roll my eyes at him and let Champ down,
"I think Idiot suits you better." He laughs in return, "Thought so. Want anything to eat babe? We didn't finish dinner."
I chuckle, "Oh yeahhh.." I say, recalling my unchanged loss of appetite after tonight's events, "Nah I'm not hungry."
Foxy takes my hand in his and guides me to the kitchen, "Welllll too bad, I'm feeding you."
I huff in response, "Foxy I said I'm not-", but before I'm allowed to finish, he places a single finger over my lips as if to shush me. His eyebrows lower slightly with a slight smirk playing on his lips,
"I'm afraid I wasn't asking." He says in a low tone, my eyes widen slightly, the feeling of heat rising to my cheeks as I stare into his golden hazel eyes as they burn into mine seriously with a smouldering look. I feel his strong arm wrap around my waist once again-however much slower and..sensually this time, as if with different intentions in mind.
Oh god..Is this boy trying to make me melt?
He slowly removes his finger after pressing it against my lips, the only thing preventing them from parting agape in speechlessness. Foxy edges his head closer to mine, keeping his slow pace, his eyes now on my lips. My eyelids became droopy and my heartbeat quickening it's pace, so much so I could hear it beating and echoing in my ears. Foxy edges his head closer to mine, his mouth mirroring mine as it slowly parted agape. I close my eyes, expecting to feel his lips pressed against mine, until I hear a low chuckle and the heat of his face near mine disappear as he backed his head away and arm removed from my waist. My eyes flash open to see him standing in front of me with his arms now crossed, resting smugly against the kitchen counter and an eyebrow raised; cockiness dressing his expression and body. "So, what do you want to eat?"
My mouth is still open but I clamp it shut as soon as I realise what he's doing and my eyebrows lower, but the redness of my cheeks unfortunately going no where.
"Why you little-" I hiss as regret from letting him get me back so easily fills my voice. Foxy's smile turns into a grin-"You just make it too easy I'm afraid Mangle."
Him using my first full name just makes me more bothered as the heat rises even more to my cheeks.
I looked at him in frustration with my body tensing, not knowing whether to slap him or kiss him. Damn him and his sexy ways..I clear my throat before deciding on either options, trying to regain some composure and cross my arms as if to seem unbothered by his cheeky remarks and looking at anything apart from him, afraid I might actually melt if I look into those damn eyes again, "You wish." I mumbled
The unbothered Foxy chuckles in response, noticing my reddened cheeks were still present and my pathetic attempt at acting indifferent, as he turns from me and enters the kitchen, mumbling the words "I still got it."
"I heard that." I say whipping my head back to his direction. "You can't deny it, Evans!" Foxy jeers, opening up the fridge before shooting me a wink and a knowing grin.
I really REALLY hate when he's right.
"Anyway," I start, praying the subject will change, "You got any pizza?" I ask, trying to replace my hunger for something else with food-What is he doing to me!
"Depends if you don't mind it in the form of leftovers." Foxy replies sheepishly, peering into the fridge. I smile, "Hey-the only thing better than pizza is leftover pizza." Foxy laughs in response, "Nice pizza philosophy you got there."
I giggled, propping myself up on the counter, "I pride myself on it."
I swear only he could make me wanna strangle him one minute and giggling like I'm 12 again the next..
We made our way into Foxy's living room; you can see why his mother has an interior design company-the room looked as if it had just been photographed for 'Perfect homes monthly digest' or something. The sofa was a dark navy blue with white and grey cushions to accent, matching the large lavish wool rug that was laid out in the floor beneath. The TV sat on a glass shelf above a fireplace against a stone-brick accent wall covering one side of the room. We sat down on the plush sofa with pizza box in hand opposite a coffee table decorated with interior and property books neatly piled amongst a single house plant and weird..boujee glass sculpture.
"Okay, to make up for teasing you with my devilish charm and good looks-" Foxy started turning his head to me, a smug look reappearing on his face as I raised an eyebrow with a pout, "You may decide what we watch."
I roll my eyes in response. Foxy shuffles closer to me, catching my attention. As I turn my head to face him and those sparkling eyes, he locks them with mine while bringing his hand under my chin gently-
pausing for a second before moving his head towards mine and finally planted his lips on mine and began kissing me. My eyes close and I sank right into it, being unable to hold back breathing a satisfied breath through my nose as my mouth was now occupied. Foxy brought his hand up into my hair and ran his fingers through it slowly until his hand reached the back of my head, he held it and pulled away with a smile saying, "Does that make up for it?"
I blink a couple times, once again speechless, thankful that I'm sitting down on a sofa otherwise my knees would give out. I examine his face, his chiseled jawline and bone structure clear to see even underneath his stubble which I found undoubtedly attractive on him. My vision wandered up to his golden brown eyes, always looking as if the sun was casting its rays onto them as they shone when he smiled. He's just so damn..perfect. Like inside and out, he's sweet and caring and loyal and protective of me. He's been even more amazing these past months after what happened with-..the thing. I can't thank him enough and I always try my best to tell him that but..
Hmmm..well..
There is one way I've been wanting to say thank you to him for a long time now that I think about it.
I felt my expression change slightly, my smile stretching into a smirk and one of my brows rising. Foxy saw the glint in my eye and mirrored my smirk but wore a more skeptical expression,
"What's going on in that pretty mind of yours, Evans?" My smirk widened slightly and I put on a pair of fake innocent eyes as I stretched my leg to the other side of Foxy as I propped myself onto his lap. As my body weight pressed down on him I could see a shade of scarlet sweep over his cheeks as I looked down at him with a suggestive smirk and look in my eyes, "Just one thing." I said in a lower tone, my eyes locking onto his as they widened slightly, matching his mouth which had now opened ever so slightly letting out quiet breaths. He slinked his arms around me so they were on my lower back and pulled me towards him, the remaining space between us close to being eliminated entirely. As our faces neared I tilted my head down slightly, my long hair dropping around my face and brushing his cheek slightly, he tucked a strand behind my ear, his eyes now inappreciably closed somewhat with a glint of something in them..Desire.
Foxy and I had never actually..I mean, we'd fooled around and stuff but never actually..done the do. I think it's because I wanted to wait for the right time this time around. I love him so much and there's no one that I'd rather be with than him so I think maybe it's time.
"Are you sure?" He whispered to me, looking deeply into my eyes for reassurance. I was so comfortable with him and he was such a gentleman..he'd never even asked for sex or brought it up because he was waiting for me to decide on the right time..No guy has ever treated me with that kind of respect before.
I nodded in response with an honest smile, "I'm sure." I whispered back to him.
Foxy smiled and moved his lips onto mine before picking me up, my legs wrapped around his waist and him holding me up with his strong arms, our lips not breaking apart once as my heart beat in excitement and my mind swimming with anticipation as he carried me up the stairs.
