First Game

Foxy's POV

"-In conclusion, Blah Blah Blah, Blahhh blah! Blah blah Blah BLAH!!" I wasn't really paying attention to the boring teacher, Nor was anyone else in the classroom.

I just stared up at the clock longingly, waiting for it to turn to three o' clock.

3...2..1..

~RRRRRRINGGGGGG~

"WOOOOO!!" The whole class cheered, especially me.
"Settle down class, settle down! Now, I know your all excited for the big Football game tonight, but don't forget about your assignments due next week." The Biology teacher stated.

Wait, what assignment?! I wasn't paying attention, how am I supposed to know?!

I panicked, I'm not gonna ask the teacher, I'll look like an idiot.

I quickly scanned the room for someone I knew, MANGLE! Thank god she's in my class. I jogged up to her and asked casually,
"H-Hey Mangle! So, what are you doing for your assignment?"
Not at all sounding embarrassed or anything.
She smirked and replied,
"I'm thinking of laying an egg, you?" She replied, with a serious face.
"WHAT?! WHAT WAS THE ASSIGNMENT SUPPOSED TO BE?!" I shouted quite shocked at this. She began laughing at me,
"You weren't paying attention, were you? I was just kidding!"
I sighed with relief, I thought she'd gone crazy.

"Phew! Well, fair enough. What was the assignment, seriously." I asked.
"We have to write an essay on cells. Plant cells, Stem Cells, Animal Cells, and their functions, stuff like that." She said rolling her eyes with carelessness.
"Crap, I'm terrible at Science, let alone Cells and Biology!" I said face palming.

Great, now I have to worry about this and Football practise now. I have to stay focused for tonight's big game, but it's hard when your teachers are throwing essays at you outta' nowhere!

"I could help you study if you want? I'm not brilliant myself, but we could be really bad at Biology together at least." She smiled.
"Sure, sounds good. We could meet at the town's library on Saturday?"
"Sounds good. Well, see you tonight at the big game Foxy! Good luck!" She called back to me, skipping out of the classroom, probably to get cheerleading ready.

That reminds me, I should start heading to the Football place to help set up. The actual game is at six, but it takes a while to get the Football arena ready. I say arena, it's more like a smaller version of a stadium outside of School. I met up with Bonnie and we both start heading down to there.

~

"Thanks for helping out Bonnie, I appreciate it." I Thank him.
"Hey! No problem. We've got a while before the game anyway, so might as well. It's better than doing homework or studying at least. My teacher delayed my Essay for two weeks since we've got the game and Football practise, so I'll be too busy to study." Said Bonnie.
"Lucky you. My Teachers don't give me time to study at all! They give us like a weeks notice and that's it." I replied grumpily.
"Aw Man, that sucks. How come you don't get free time?" He asked.
This was an obvious one,
"Duh! Cuz' your Teachers like you more! You're a straight-A student for crying out loud.."
We both laughed at this until we'd finally reached the small stadium.
Considering this is our first game, this place is pretty great.
We both stood in the centre of the stadium where the Football Pitch was, which was followed by rows upon rows upon rows of seats.
There were small confession stands in the corners and about five feet away from those were the exit and entrances to each side's locker rooms.

Some guys were running about frantically, who I'm guessing worked here and were trying to get the place ready.

I noticed two familiar boys standing in the corner, speaking to some staff. It was Marionette and Toy Fred. We both began walking over to them, "Hey guys, whatcha doing?" Bonnie waved.
"Just trying to get this place ready." Marionette replied. "Need any help?" I offered. "Well, the technician is having trouble with the speakers and the water needs re-filling on the sides for the Football players, think you could handle it?" Fred smirked. We both nodded without a word, Bonnie running to help the technician, since he's good at that stuff, and Myself jogging to find the water supply.

Me and the other Football players sat in the changing rooms, nervously awaiting the game to start and Fred to walk in, giving some inspirational speech. Meanwhile, Golden Freddy was staring daggers at me. I Guess he's peeved at me for getting Springtrap kicked off the team. Pfft, whatever.
He deserved it..

BOOM! The wooden doors flew open, Mari and Fred came in, carrying two large boxes. We all looked at them confused, what on earth?

"Hey everyone, ready for our first game?" He beamed and we all nodded awkwardly. He frowned at this and shook his head disapprovingly. "Are you serious? After these three months of training, you're not pumped to wipe the floor with Oakmore's Football team and their sucky mascot?" He asked facing all of us. "Look, I know you're all nervous, but there's no need to be! We're gonna win this, I can tell." Fred smiled. We all looked at him with courage in our eyes, "So, are you ready for your first game?" He asked once more. "YEAH!!" We all cheered. "That's more like it. Now come put on your new Football uniforms." He said and nodded to Mari who emptied out the boxes to reveal new helmets, shoulder pads, new red Jerseys that read 'Statton' in small letters at the back, new thigh pads, new knee pads and even new cleats!

Me and the rest of the Footballers stared at them in awe. "What are you waiting for? Get changed, idiots!" He shouted, grabbing one for himself. We all grabbed our uniforms and began changing.

Mangle's POV

Okay, nearly time to start the game..You can do this Mangle, you can do this.

I took a deep breath in and walked into the performer's changing rooms where all the other cheerleaders were waiting, gossiping about the game.
"Okay everyone, I've got our Cheerlead uniforms!" I smiled. Me and Toy Chica laid them out for everyone to see and sure enough they loved them. For the girls it was a red two piece, a sleevless belly top and skirt that reached halfway down our thigh. For the boys, a red T-shirt that read 'Statton' on the front and white trousers.

I began changing into mine which read 'Captain' on the back in white letters.
After everyone was changed, we went outside the changing rooms to wait for our cue to come onto the field and start our routine.
I managed to poke my head outside a little so the field came into view.
Woah! The whole place was packed with people from our school and Oakmore Academy.
I could just make out a man standing in the centre holding a microphone.

"Ladies and Gentlement! Welcome, to the first game of the year! Tonight, our very own Statton school will be going up against Oakmore's academy!" He boomed through the microphone,
"Now, please welcome our teams!" Said the man, ushering two large entrances by the sides of the field. Both Football teams began pouring out of them, Our school wearing red and Oakmore wearing green. The crowd was cheering and shouting at this point.
"Before we begin the game, please welcome the Statton School Cheerleaders! That's our cue! I quickly did my hair up in a high ponytail that reached my back.

We all began jogging into the centre of the field as the crowd cheered us on. I nodded to Toy Chica and the rest of my team and the music began playing,

{You get the idea XD}

After the routine finished, all the cheerleaders breathed heavily from tiredness but the crowd seemed to love our performance. Everyone was on there feet applauding, including our Football team.
"Thankyou for that amazing routine! Does the captain have anything to say?" The man said, pointing his microphone at me, I smiled and held it, passing it to my cheerlead squad and they all shouted into it, "GO STATTON!!"

Everyone whooped and clapped as we made our way off to watch from the sides.
"Now, a short performance from Oakmore's mascot- 'The Tree'." He continued, and suddenly someone wearing a tatty old Tree costume ran onto the field and started doing a weird dance.

Seriously?
I could hear a few sniggers and boos from the audience, so with that he ran off embarrassed. I kinda feel bad for them to be honest..

"Well that was Uhh..really something! Now, onto the game!!" He shouted as the Two teams ran on and got into their positions. The referee blew his whistle and both teams went for the ball. When it comes to Football, I'm terrible so I have no idea what the heck is going on. The whole stadium watched intently as Fred kicked the ball. The whole arena applauded and whistled when he scored a goal, except Oakmore's side of the stadium, they were just sitting there annoyed.

~Time Skip~

After googling the objective and rules of Football on my phone, I think I get it.
Well, both teams are tied. And there's only one more break-thingy left before the final round or quarter or whatever.. Don't judge me!

I saw Fred gather his teammates to give them a pep talk and they ran back onto the field to finish the game.

"Whew, it's getting tense!" Toy Chica said. "Tell me about! Half the time I don't even know what's going on, but it's still nerve racking." I replied, not taking my eyes off of the field where the boys were scrambling about for the ball. I saw someone chuck the ball to a certain Crimson red-head and he ran with it to the 'End Zone' I think that's what it's called, and he scored a touchdown. Me and Toy Chica jumped up from our seats and started jumping around like idiots.
The whole stadium went crazy shouting, cheering, whistling, clapping.

The whole team ran up to Foxy, except Golden Freddy, and crushed him in a bro-mantic hug. He took off his helmet and gave them all high fives while they ruffled his hair jokingly.

"There you have it everyone! Statton wins this game, Sorry Oakmore! Better luck next time!" The guy with the microphone said sympathetically to Oakmore's Football team, who were looking sorry for themselves. After a while, the stadium started to empty and the only people left were me, Fred and Foxy.
Plus a few janitors.

I stared at them from the side of the field. Fred was having a conversation with Foxy but don't know what about. He was probably congratulating him on winning the game for the team. He patted him on the shoulder and walked off to the exit.

Foxy turned around to face me as I began walking over to him. His bright smile came into view as I neared him, you could tell he was happy. "Someone's in a good mood, no idea why though?" I asked him jokingly and we began making our way to the parking lot. "Hmm..let me think, maybe I scored a touchdown that won the game?" He chuckled. "Could be." I replied casually. We both laughed at this and there was silence for a while.
"Oh! Good job on the routine by the way." He said breaking the silence. "Oh, thanks.." I said. "Do you need a ride home?" I asked him.
"No I'm good, thanks." He replied politely. "You sure? You've been playing Football, aren't your legs tiered?" I asked again, stopping by my car and unlocking the door. He shook his head and waved goodbye to me. I nodded and bent down to get into my car, but suddenly felt a shooting pain in my side. "Ow!" I yelped and began grasping it in pain.
"Mangle, you okay?" Foxy asked with concern, jogging back up to me.
Crap, he must've heard me.
"Y-Yeah I'm fine! I must've pulled a muscle in cheerleading, thats all." I told him, lying. This stupid bruise that Springtrap gave me!

I'm glad I pressed assault charges on that jerk, good thing Dad has a good lawyer. Springtrap ended up being expelled from school but no ones heard from him since.

"Do you want me to call Mari to drive you home? I'd do it myself but I haven't got my license." I nodded, still rubbing my side and he dialled Marionette's number.

Soon enough, Marionette arrived in his new Porsche that dad got him, he still has the motorbike though. Spoilt much..

"What did you do this time Mang?" He asked me sarcastically, opening the door for me. "Nothing.." I mumbled, getting in. He rolled my eyes at me and shut the door for me.
"Thanks Foxy, I owe ya' one." He said turning to face him. "Hey, anytime." He smiled.
Marionette got into the drivers seat and started the engine.

I undid my window and waved goodbye to Foxy and he did the same, making his way home. I smiled to myself in the back, I have to say, Foxy is really caring for me.
At least I can help him with the Biology assignment. I just don't know why he treats me so kindly when I do nothing in return..

"Thinking about Foxy?" Marionette smirked. "Pfft, No!" I replied moodily. "Whatever you say, but he is a nice guy. Better than Springtrap was." He said facing me directly for a second while driving the car. "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked. "It means you two would make a good couple." He chuckled.
"W-What? Me and Foxy are just friends!" I stuttered, avoiding eye contact. He laughed, "Sure, for now." I elbowed him, peeved off. "Hey! Don't distract the driver!" He huffed and shoved me back.

I thought about what Mari said on the way home.
Foxy was a better guy than Springtrap. I wonder what we'd be like as a couple..
NO! I cannot think that! Me and Foxy are just friends! Ugh, Damn him and his gorgeous Crimson hair,
Those mesmerising golden eyes of his,
And that smile..
STOP IT MANGLE!
Foxy wouldn't like me like that anyway..
