Some people weren't meant to be alive, driven by nothing and left empty inside like a bowl of cereal finished with nothing but unwanted milk. Too be alive was unfamiliar to them, stiffened by the thought of pure endorphins pumping through blood filled veins.

The people who weren't meant to live, were meant to die the moment they were born. Overgrown the moment they let out a shaky wail or more commonly the choke of their first breath.

They'd grow with knobby knees and bloodied knuckles. Never truly experiencing how it is to be a child or a teen. To never feel the warmth of a mother or the strictness of a father, all this direction to a clear road.

Carmilla for one became familiar with the word never from this experience. She knew she was never truly alive when kids her age explored their hobbies whilst her feet grew out of her mary janes rapidly. She knew she grew up unfortunate, never to not have a night where she wasn't completely full.

Her ribs sticked out of pubescent skin, clicking against it with a cry begging to be protected. As Carmilla was seemingly all knowing of her situation, tugged away from her suckle she dived into adult hood at 15.

When the attention was given to her at the age that felt so grown to her, she gave in. She welcomed the boys, the alcohol and other things just to achieve one thing.

To feel alive.

So when she went to her own brand of heroin called crime fighting, a man who devours everything in sight caresses her recklessness with open palms.

Or Miguel O'hara tries to settle the headache called Carmilla Costa down.

( Note ) : Heyyy guys I just wanted to say that updates might be slow and I honestly haven't seen the new movie so this isn't gonna be on that. Its just gonna be off plot from that but I am aware of Miguel's personality and his backstory ( especially the movies one ). When I do watch the movie I will slightly dip into the plot from their but for right now its my own plot with my character and Miguel. So honestly please bare with me on that :(((.
