"My-my boy-boyfriend doctor!" I uttered and heard chuckles around. It made me blush and I felt Manik sliding closer to me..

"Am right in front of you Bella!" I heard him whisper so near me and I felt tears stinging my eyes but I won't cry aj tou khushi ka din hai...

"Ok Ms.Murthy! I will remove the bandage on the count of three! You will open your eyes very slowly or else you won't be able to bear the sharp lights! I suggest you to take it slow!" Doctor Nelson spoke and I nodded my head crazily...

"As you say Doctor! But please open it! Hurry please!!!" I almost screamed out and felt Manik's hand cupping my cheek...

"Shhh Bella! Please! Just calm down! Breathe ok?" He spoke rubbing my cheek with his thumb and I shook my head..

"Ask him to open it! Please am dying to see you Manik!" I screamed in utmost desperation and he placed his finger on my lips shutting me. My nerves racked with anxiety and restlessness..

"Shimmer! They won't open it until you promise to calm down and take it all slow!" He spoke strictly and I cried out in frustration. "Shhhh!" He shushed me resting his forehead on mine and he cupped my cheeks..

"I want to see you!!" I begged...

"Few seconds more! Just a little more!" His words came back as a whisper as his lips lingered over my forehead. I gripped his hands over my cheeks refused to let go. His forehead was still resting on mine. "We are gonna do this together! You me and Us! Just relax!" His words were very assuring but he can't understand the tsunami of emotions in my heart. I was ready to explode anytime...

"Ohk Ms.Murthy! One!" Doctor Nelson spoke in a loud tone, starting the count and I almost pierced my nails in Manik's hands...

Jesus...

"Two!"...

A little more...

One more second...

Breathe Nandini...

Just breathe...

"Three!" Counting finished and the bandage fell off my eyes...
