IN A SMALL ROOM

Nandini was in deep slumber. She started regaining from her sleep. She she started opening her eyes, she felt her head heavy enough that she would fall the next second. She tried to hold her heavy head but she couldn't moves her hands.

She looked her hands and then realized that her hands were tied to the chair she was sitting on. She then looked forward and saw that Karan was sitting on another chair and was smiling at her.

Karan (grinning): So how was your beauty sleep? Had a memorable dream or a depressing one.

Nandini (angrily): Where am I and why have you tied me up?

Karan: Chill baby...why are you getting worked up for this little thing. At least for me it is little. For you, it might be quite interesting.

Nandini (gritting her teeth and violently pushing the chair): Get to the point, son of a....

Karan: Chill Nandini, why are you hurting yourself physically. I am only going to hurt you mentally. Don't tell your husband....Oh sorry....maybe or maybe not husband, that I hurt you physically.

Nandini: What do you mean by maybe or maybe not?

Karan: Well that's up to your dear son. I can give up one tiny bit of information. You teaching of mauling a powerful will get you to repent. What all you taught will backfire you. Now it's time for show .

With this Karan pushed Nandini's chair towards another room.

IN ANOTHER ROOM

As Nandini and Karan reached the room, Karan pulled up the chair towards the center. She looked ahead and saw the FAB8, the elders and the kids other than Manan were chained towards the wall. All of them were wearing a particular dress and had a big red circle on their left chest. Even Karan was wearing the same dress but didn't have the red circle at all.

Manik started screaming for r Nandini. Nandini looked at him with eyes full of tears.

Manik (yelling): What the hell do you want?

Karan (laughing): Chill bro. Jog bhi ma'am hai tumhata beta kerega. Get that kid over here.

In seconds, Manan was brought towards the room and and Nandini could see him beside her. She yelled his name and Manan turned and made a run towards her. But his run was stopped when he was pulled back.

That's when Nandini and the rest noticed that there was a shackle like thing on both his shoulders and these shackles were connected to a chain which was controlled by one of his men.

Karan: No no no kid. Don't even think about it. I have brought you here to do a task and then you can go to your DEAR mother. Don't try to act smart now or else you will lose the chance to get your sibling to this world.

Manan (with complete rage): speak up you bloody scowl. What the hell do you want from me.

Karan: Your skills to action and to my profit. Nandini you remember I told a few minutes ago that you would regret the teaching you gave to your son. Now is the time to see it live.

Manik: Speak up you bloody bastard.

Karan: chill bro. Why are you getting so hyper?

Manan: Because of you.

Karan: Okay then. Let me do the honor in helping you. Haven't you guys noticed that all of you except Nandini and including me are wearing a particular dress. And also I am sure that all of you have noticed that except me and Nandini of course, all of you have a large red circle on the left side of your chest. Let's get to the reason behind it.

Manan: Speak up you dumb f***

Karan: Woah woah bro,chill. Let me complete. I have gotten to know that, you Manan Malhotra, is famous for shooting techniques. Let's say, shall we bring it to action. You see, your task is to just shoot one of you among us, except me and Nandini. Now there is a catch. You have to shoot at the red spot only. Anywhere else, then all of you except me, since I don't have that red spot, will burn to death. So kill one or all will die. And don't think of shooting at me. Even I am wearing the same dress. So if you will shoot me even then we all will die. Now you will ask what is the principle behind this? Well it's simple. There is a network system connected to that very red spot. When one of the red spot is shot, this network is broken and then the connection is lost. Then this dress is of no use. So decide who you wanna shoot.

Everyone gaped on hearing this. Cabir whispered to Mukthi.

Cabir: Mukthi do something.

Mukthi: what the hell will I do?

Cabir: You are a girl.

Mukthi: so what if I am a girl?

Cabir: yar.... you will have some hair clip na.

Mukthi then got to know what he was exactly talking about. Mukthi with great difficulty, took the hair clip out and started experimenting with the shackle. Cabir was looking at her with only the last hope.

Karan: All of you men, release the shackles of the boy and leave this room right guy this instant. One more thing. None of will ever come in front of anyone of anytime in your life. If dare to then that is the last time you will see this world.

The men did the same and left the room. Manan was about to move towards Nandini but stopped at his place on recollecting that he would destroy the little life inside her if he dared to move towards her.

Karan: Make a choice. A choice that would change the world. And for you Nandini, I could have easily killed you with one shot. But that wouldn't make you realize the pain I had gone through. By seeing one of yours die, you will feel the pain I had gone through. The pain of guilt. Guilt of being the reason behind of death of one of your family members.

Manan: I have made the choice. Give me the gun.

Karan grinned and passed the gun to Manan. Manan pointed the revolver towards the people chained. He slowly moved it side to side, scanning the room. Now he rested the revolver on Manik. Manik was utterly shocked but then smiled slightly.

Manan: I made a choice. I will kill one among us but it will be a shock to you and relief for me.

Mukthi had removed her shackle and ran towards Manik and started removing his shackle while kneeling down so that Karan couldn't see her.

Coming back. Manan pointed the revolver towards him abruptly and shot at the heart. Everyone got shocked at this sight. Both Nandini and Manik screamed their lungs out in shock. Manan fell on the floor and then looked at Karan smilingly.

Manan: You said to kill a person among us and I did the same but to give a lift change, you will come with me to where I go.

And with this he shot Karan. But the shot missed the heart as he lost balance. The bullet went threw his knee. Karan stumbled but regained his balance. Manik shackles got released and Manik ran towards Manan whereas Mukthi continued to open the rest. Karan angrily took his spare gun and pointed towards Manan.

Karan (gritting his teeth): You bloody, how dare you shoot me. Now I will kill both your parents.

With this, he pointed his gun towards Nandini but dropped to the floor. Blood was posing through his chest. Karan turned around with great difficulty to see the person who shot him. To his greatest shock, it was Tara, his wife.

Karan: you....

Tara: Yes me. What did you think? You can do whatever you want and I will stay quiet? I will rather kill you than hearing people say that I am a murders wife.

Karan couldn't last any longer and he drifted away. Tara looked at Nandini who was tied up and ran towards her to remove the rope. She released her and embraced her.

Tara: Nothing will happen. Come I will help you to go to Manan.

On reaching Manan, Nandini dropped to the floor weeping. Manik side hugged her.

Manan (smiling weakly): I might not be here any longer but that little soul is inside you mom. Teach her all the things you taught me and she will be just like me. The perfect child of the Manan family. Take care of my mom or else I will not spare you Manik Malhotra.

Nandini: No you are not leaving us.

By now, all the shackles were removed. Ronit angrily came towards MANAN and yelled at them.

Ronit: What the hell are you waiting for. Get him to the hospital.

Tara: come come.... I will get you to the nearest hospital.

With this, all of them set towards the nearest clinic. What will happen to Manan. Will God save him or will Karan's word turn true?
