DINING TABLE

As the head of the house, Nandini sat at the top. The other were seated as follows.

All started eating but after a second Nandini stopped and looked at Manik questioningly.

Manik: what happened? Why are you looking at me like that?

Nandini: today for dinner, its only Indian vegetarian food, then why the hell are you smelling like ketchup and egg?

Manik (stammers): who said that I smell like ketchup? I didn't eat any of them.

Kavya: she is right Chacha, you are smelling like ketchup and egg.

Manan (taunts): you are absolutely right Kavya, he does smell like it even Cabir uncle. Haina uncle? (Hits Cabir's shoulder)

Cabir (stammers): not only me, the others also smell the same. (Navya kicked Cabir for trapping the others)

Manan (acting innocent): accha, how do you know that uncle? Aap ne unke saath nahaya kya?

Nandini (raises her voice): Manan.

Manan (look down): sorry mom.

Nandini: now tell me, why the hell do you people smell like ketchup and egg.

Dhruv (blotters): shampoo.

Nandini (confused): shampoo?

Dhruv: ketchup and egg mix shampoo are good for health.

Manik and Manan who were drinking water, spat out the liquid on hearing the same.

Before Manik could complete, Manan kicked his leg under the table and gestured him to shutup.

Nandini: there is no such thing as ketchup and egg mix shampoo.

Alya: haina. India me aisa ekh naya shampoo aya hai. It's really nice.

Nandini: accha, then bring it to me right now, I want to see it.

Mukthi: who kya haina, hum sab ne poora bottle use kiya, so bahar phek diya.

Sidharth (innocently): but I have never seen you using it mom. Aap toh who Tresseme ...

Alya (gritting her teeth): hum use karte hai bacha, tumne who dekha nahi beta.

Sidharth seeing his mother like this shuts his mouth instantly.

Nandini: okay then, all of you can continue eating. Tomorrow will be your 1st practice session.

FAB8 nods their head and continues eating silently. After eating dinner FAB8 return to their room right after seeing of their children in Manan's room. Manan took his phone and Mac book and moved out but got stopped by Kavya.

MANAN'S ROOM

Kavya: where are you going? Aren't you sleeping?

Manan: I am going to my mom's room. After a week I am seeing her. So I thought to spend the night with her.

Kavya (disappointed yet smiled): okay then, good night.

Manan smiled and went to his mom's room.

NANDINI'S ROOM

When Manan entered the room he saw it empty. He thought Nandini would have been in the washroom. He went towards the bed and got shocked at the sight. He saw a huge box rapped in a gift rapper on the bed. He saw a sticky note on it. It was addressed to him. The note requested him to open the box. Manan opened the box and got shocked and excited.
