Manik looked at Nandini and smiled at the effect of the song on her. Nandini was extremely engaged in the song that she didn't realize that it had got over. The applaud from the rest brought her back to reality. She heard a familiar voice from the door. It was her Manan.

Manan: well, not bad at all. I must say they aren't what I thought they were.

Nandini smiled at him.

Kavya: yeh sirf mera dad ka group hai. Ab mera mom ka group baki hai. Hai na ma?

Kavya: han beta.

Dhruv: okay guys. The place is all yours.

The Jankar moved up and started arranging their stuff. FAB5 moved down. There was a place on either side of Nandini. Both Manik and Cabir ran and took the place leaving Mukthi fuming. (Cabir on her right & Manik on her right)

Mukthi: like seriously.

Mukthi reluctantly went and sat beside Cabir where as Dhruv and Alya sat beside respectively. Manan felt a little possessive on seeing men beside his mother and started to go towards her but Kavya pulled him by his hand.

Manan (a little irritated): what happened?

Kavya: there is place for the four of us beside Alya aunty, so why going there.

Manan: I thought of sitting beside my mom.

Nandini instantly looked at him. She understood that he didn't like the fact of men sitting beside her.

Sameer: magar Manik and Cabir uncle are sitting over there.

Manan: but there is vacancy right in front of her.

Siddharth (looking at the direction): where?

Manan: on the floor.

Nandini smiled at him. She pushed her hands open and widen her legs. He ran hugged her and then sat down between her legs. Nandini ruffled his hair. Kavya with disappointment moved towards the vacant seat but stopped at Nandini's call.

Nandini: why going there, when there is place next to Manan, hai na BF.

Manan (smiled widely): han GF. Come and sit beside me guys.

All the 3 ran and got seated beside them. FAB8 smiled at Nandini;s gesture and had a hope that there was still a bit of old Nandini in her who cared for others.

Nandini (whispers in Manan's ear): jealously is on full swing.

Manan (whispered back stammering): aiasa.... Ku.... Ch....nahi ... hai. Who I just wanted to be with you.

Nandini (whispers and ruffles his hair): accha wanted to me with me. I didn't know you could stammer for this. Okay then.

This little conversation between the mother and the son wasn't unheard by Manik. He slightly smiled at Manan's statement.

By now Navya, Abhimanyu and Aryaman sat down with their respective instruments.

Navya looked up at Nandini. Nandini smiled and gestured her to start. This wa shocking for both Navya and Nandini.

Navya soon shut her eyes and started humming the tune.

Everyone applauded. Manan was impressed by FAB8 but was planning for something fun or you can say, a prank at home. Nandini gestured Manan to stand to up so that she could also stand. Manan instantly stood and moved aside but at the same time Manik stood up as a result, Manan fell down.

Manan fumed but suppressed it as he knew that right now, it wasn't the right time to yell as his mom was hear and she wouldn't like it a bit. Manik said a sorry to which Manan smiled faintly. Nandini knew that something surely will be cooking in his head but decided to talk to him later and to talk to them 1st.

Nandini: both of the bands are extremely good performers. Hope to see this good work in the album also. 5 songs for the album and 1 for the launching ceremony.

Manik: we will never let your expectations go down.

Nandini: I hope not.
