Neyonika: I didn't understand.

Nandini: I am leaving tomorrow. So came to say a bye.

Neyonika: aree itnisi baat keliye, upna time kyun waste kiya? You could have told us tomorrow itself. Anyways you will be leaving in the evening right?

Nandini: no, I will be going between the marriage. So I maybe won't be able to meet you guys.

Neyonika: acha, you will come back to India to meet us right?

Nandini: most probably a no. I don't want any trouble. But if destiny wants us to meet then we will surely meet.

Ronit: you are such a sweetheart. Manik was really stupid in betraying you. He should have not done that.

Nandini: uncle, if this didn't happen, then shayad I won't see you only. Everything happens for a reason.

Neyonika: accha beta, go and take rest, tomorrow you have to attend a little bit of the marriage and also catch a flight.

Nandini: uncle and aunt, won't you give me a hug before I leave?

Ronit: for that, you will have to stop calling us uncle and aunty and call us mom and dad.

Nandini: ok then, mom and dad.

Neyonika goes and hugs Nandini. Soon even Ronit joins the hug. Soon Nandini leaves the room and decides to go to the terrace to see the stars, one last time before leaving the country.

AT THE TERRACE

Nandini was watching the stars, when she heard a familiar voice. She used to carve for this voice before but all the feeling had changed to pain. The pain she is trying to remove from her heart. IT WAS MANIK!

Manik: you here?

Nandini: any problem, Mr. Malhotra?

Manik: nothing. Can we please have a break?

Nandini thinks for a minute and agrees. Manik moves and places his hand next to her hand which was place on the railing of the edge to the terrace. The distance between the hands were just an inch. Manik could easily smell her sent. Some of jasmine and rose. Both of them looked at the stars.

Manik: so what actually brings you here?

Nandini: well it is my last night in India. I will be leaving India forever with a hope to never return.

Manik: so last day here and you decided to cherish the night here?

Nandini: for some time. Well mom told to.....

Manik: mom? As far as I know you, you don't have parents.

Nandini: I was talking about your mom. She told that she will hug only if I will call her mom and your dad, dad.

Manik: wow, nice move by my mom.

Nandini: oh please, since the time I am here, she is the only one who consoled me. She even supported me when I was crying. So, if she tells me to call her mom then I surely will.

Manik: fine with me.

Nandini: tell me about your life.

Manik: well, we cracked a deal. We will be travelling abroad tomorrow to work on our 1st international album. And the best part is that, Kavya, Sid and Sameer can join us.

Nandini: who are they?

Manik: well, Kavya is Cabir and Navya's daughter. Sid aka Siddharth is Dhruv and Alya's son. And Sameer is .....

Nandini: Mukthi and Abhi's son.

Manik: you got it right.

Nandini: congrats for the deal. I hope the music company can tolerate all of you.

Manik: hey, hum itne bhi bure nahi he.

Nandini: Han, tum log utne bure nahi hai. Tumlog bohut bure ho.

Manik: sorry man. So, is anyone accompanying you during the flight?

Nandini: Uttu will be there.

Hearing Uttu, Manik started boiling in anger.

Nandini: I think I should leave now.

Nandini was going to turn around when a rock got stuck under her and she was losing her balance. Manik caught hold of her. Due to the force of pulling her, he accidently planted a kiss near her lips.

Both Nandini and Manik looked at each other in utter shock. They stayed in the same position for a while, then Nandini backed away.

Nandini went back to her room with shock written on her face whereas Manik was smiling all the way to his room.

THE NEXT DAY WAS A GRAND DAY – THE WEDDING DAY
