Inaya:- Sir one thing I don't understand why you always want to be a monster in front of Nandini Mam?

Manik:- Mind your own business Miss. Sharma.

Inaya:- No Sir, this is wrong. I should tell her everything. It's my fault that I thought you are just like other parvat men who want to take advantage of the situation.

Manik:- Why do you girls talk too much?

Manik got angry hearing this and he went to Nandini's cabin. He saw Aarav there sitting on the couch and Nandini giving him toys to play with. A beautiful smile automatically occupied his face seeing Aarav's smiling face. Aarav also saw Manik and started clapping. He was happy seeing his Buddy again. But as soon as Nandini turned towards Manik, his smile vanished immediately.

Manik:- (angrily) Nandini....

Nandini:- Yes, Mr. Malhotra.

Manik:- Do you have any time scans or not? Mr. Singhal's manager is waiting for you and here you are playing with your son. Do we pay you for playing with your son or doing office work?

Nandini:- (with teary eyes) I told Inaya to attend to him for a few minutes as I will be late.

Manik:- For your kind information she is my personal assistant not yours. So you can't order her to do your work, now go.

Nandini left there wiping her tears. Manik went to Aarav and said,

Manik:- Hey Buddy, what's up?

Aarav gave him a sweet smile showing his total four teeth. He is such an adorable baby full of innocence. This is the first time Manik noticed him properly. He has brown orbs just like him, and chubby cheeks just like Nandini. Manik pulled his cheeks and said,

Manik:- Awww you have chubby cheeks just like your Mamma. You know I used to pull her cheeks so much and she used to get irritated.

Aarav:- Mum?

Manik:- Yes your Mum. She was so cute, just like a little doll.

God knows what Aarav understood he started giggling. It's a treat to watch him smiling. He forwarded his toy car towards Manik again and said,

Aarav:- Bhoom bhoom?

Manik:- No Buddy, not today. I have a meeting to attend now.

Aarav pouted and put that toy car into his mouth. Manik immediately took that toy car from his hand and said,

Manik:- No Buddy, it's bad manners. You shouldn't put things into your mouth, it can have so many germs.

Manik was a little loud so Aarav thought he was scolding him and started crying. Seeing this Manik panicked.

Manik:- Offo Buddy please don't cry. You are a good boy na? Good boys never cry.

Manik tried to stop him but Aarav was still crying.

Manik:- Oh no. Ya to rona bandh hi nahi kar raha ha. Bhag la Manik Malhotra nahi to Nandini Murthy tera chatni bana degi.

Manik ran out of the room and hid behind a pillar. He kept watching Aarav until Nandini came there to console him. Maybe this is called father's love. They maintain distance between us but still they love us.

At Afternoon

Manik was standing in front of that temple where he put vermilion on Nandini's hairline. Seeing him standing silently from a long time Pandit ji went to him and said,

Pandit ji:- Kya hua beta? Tum yaha kyu khade ho? Koi problem hai? Ander aao or prarthana karo, mujha yakin hai Bhagwan ji tumhara jarur sune ga.

(What happened, my son? Why are you standing there like this? Is there any problem? Come inside and pray. I hope God will fulfill your wishes.)

Manik:- (blankly) Kehta hai is mandir mein jo log shadi karta ha bho log humasha ek dusra ka sath rehta ha. To phir hum kew juda ho gaye?

(People say if someone gets married in this temple then they never get separated. Then why do we fall apart?)

Pandit ji:- (smiled) Beta Bhagban to kam sa jiyada insano ka niyat ko dekhta ha.

(God sees the intentions of people behind their work.)

Manik:- Mein to bas chahta tha ki bho hamesha mera sath rahe.

(I just wanted her to always be with me.)

Pandit ji:- Yahi to problem ha beta. Kisi ko hamesha sath rakhna aur pyar sa kisi ko apna banane me bahut fark ha.

(That's the problem, my son. There is a difference between keeping someone with you always and to make her yours by your unconditional love.)

Manik:- Ab mein kya karu?

(What should I do now)

Pandit ji:- Bhagwan ji se prarthana karo. Agar tumhara pyaar saccha hai to bho jarur tumhare pas bapas ayagi.

(Pray to God. If your love is true then she will come back to you.)

Saying this Pandit ji went inside the temple. Manik didn't pray. He just kept standing there for a few minutes then went back home.
