At 12am-

Manik called nandini and she picked up..

Manik: hello..

Nandini: hmm..

Manik: pura din call nehi kiya..kyu?

Nandini: you must be busy with your guests na..like soha?

Manik laughing: seriously nandini? Still stuck there?

Nandini: yess.. She must be dreaming about you..

Manik: toh let her..i am dreaming about you toh..waisee..this soha..hain bari beautiful..

Nandini opened her mouth in shock..
Nandini: manikkk! How dare you..i am telling you stay away from her..she will do blackmagic on you.. I think she already that..

Manik burst out laughing..
Manik: oh god nandini! You are so adorable..chill i was just saying that...

Nandini(angry): manik tum na..tum..tum kuch maat bolo..arghhh phone rakhoo aur jao apne soha ke paas..

Manik: ohh acha? Acha thik hain byee..

Nandini shouts: manikkk..

Navya who was sleeping beside nandini woke up..

Navya: kyaa huaa??

Nandini looked at navya and bit her tongue: oh sorry..

Navya: nanduu so jaa..kal subeh uthna hain tujhe..

Nandini: haan..you sleep..

Manik was laughing the whole time on the other side..

Nandini softly: manik..tum na mujhse baat hi maat karo..infact you dont have to come tomorrow mein akele hi kar lungi haldi..

Manik: thikhain..shaadi bhi akele hi karlena..

Nandini: mr.malhotra! This is it! Byee

Nandini cut the phone and lied down coverin her face with the blanket..
Manik lied down on his stomach smiling..

Manik texted nandini: so jao nandini..gussa baad mein karna...i am sleeping now..love you goodnight!

Nandini saw his texted and texted back: gate lock karke sona..raat ko tumpe ake char jayegi..BYE

Manik read the text and laughed..
Both of them soon slept..

Next day- 8am

Navya and nandini's phone alarm rang and they both jumpd up..

Nandini: ahhh..abhi ready hona parega..

Navya: chal..aaj meri bestfriend ki haldi hain..mein toh chali tayyar hone..

Nandini laughed and then went to the washroom to take a shower..

At 9:30-

Nandini sat infront of the dressing table wearing the yellow and white bangles...navya came running and gave her the jewellery boxes and left to wear her sari..

Nandini opened the box to see a beautiful gold chain with a yellow pendant and she wore it..she then placed a small yellow bindi on her forehead and took a final look at herself..

Nandin: oh shit..missed the lipstick..

Nandini applied pink lipstick and then stood up and set her hair with slight curles at the bottom..

Nandini: aab thik hain..

She lookd flawless in that beautiful outfit designed by alya..(link on my account)

Nandini took her phone and then went down..
Amms and chachi were out on the garden area as the haldi ceremony was to be held there..nandini's house had a big and luxurious poolside and garden where everything was decorated perfectly.. She went out to see the decorations and loved it..

Chachi: sab thik hain na beta?

Nandini: thik? Its amazing chachi..just the way i wanted..i love you..

Chachi smiled and hugged her..

Chachi: meri bachi kitni sundar lagrahi hain..

Punam(chachi's sister): haan humari nandu world ki best dulhan lagrahi hain..

Nandini blushed and smiled..

Soon everyone arrived and got busy talking to each other..

Manik was wearing a pale yellow kurta with white pajamas and folded sleeves..
Abhimanyu came and hugged manik..

Abhimanyu: welcome welcome..

Manik: whats up?

Abhimanyu: all good..

Aryaman and navya came too..
Navya: guys chalo lets take picture with that cycle..(top right corner in media box)

Mukti: haan chaloo..

Manik was all the time looking out for nandini but mukti dragged him with them..they all posed for pictures and then finally manik asked navya..

Navya: ohhooo..isse dekho dulhan se milne ke kiye itna desperate..

The others laughed and manik gave a fake smile..

Manik: so funnyy..

Cabir moved his hand around manik's shoulder..

Cabir: waise madhubala..manik toh nehi mil sakta hain nandini se..lekin hum toh mil sakte hain na?

Aryaman: oooooooo..

Manik looked at cabir with his poker face and everyone started laughing..
Rahul(manik's cousin,18 years old) came and stood with them..

Rahul: mein toh bhabi se milkar aa raha hoon..she looks beautiful..

Manik: kaha kaha? Kaha hain woh?

Rahul started laughing..
Rahul: andaar hain..

Manik took a step when aryaman came and stood infront of him..

Aryaman: no no..not now..

Manik: seriously aryaman? Tu bhi? Tu toh mera bhai hain..

Aryaman laughing: nandini ka bhi bhai hoon..

Everyone laughed while manik stood their with his annoyed face..

Amms: chalo chalo..nandini is coming..

Navya,mukti and alya ran inside and the boys made manik sit on the stage(the center stage in the media box)

They turned on the song kabira encore on the speakers as nandini entered with the girls beside.. She had a never ending smile on her face and ofcourse manik automatically got a smile on his face seeing her..

Nandini lookd at manik and gave a smile and they both stared at each other..navya from beside gave a fake cough and nandini laughed looking at her..

She reached the stage and sat beside manik..
Dadiji came and kissed both nandini and manik's forehead..

Dadiji: nazar na lagey tum dono ko..

Manik and nandini both smiled..

Amms: chalo aab haldi ki rasam shuru kare..

Manik whispered on nandini's ear: waise you dont need haldi..your face is already glowing..
Nandini blushed looking at him and then whispered a thankyou..

Everyone started applying haldi one by one starting with the elders..worse where when cabir and aryaman applied haldi..there face was full of haldi and manik could not stop cursing them..

The haldi applying finally ended at 1..

Amms: aab hogaya sabka lagana..tum dono jao aur mu dholo sirf..nahana dudh se hain..

Manik: whaatt?? No wayyy

Amms(stict face): koi problem?

Manik: no no.. Not at all..

Nandini started giggling and manik gave her an annoyed look..
Both of them went inside..

Nandini: tum rishabh ka room use karlo..mein jati hoon apne kamre mein..

Manik gave a fake smile and held her hand and moved upstairs to her room..he entered closing and locking the door..

Nandini: manik...koi dekh leta toh?

Manik: i dont care..

Nandini: acha itna gussa kyu ho?

Manik: because everything is pissing me off..

Nandini: manik its our wedding..why do u get so angry? Yeh sab karna parta hain..

Manik with a grumpy face: hmm..

Nandini: chalo aab wash the haldi from your face..

Manik: haan..its so disgusting..

Nandini and manik both went to the washroom and manik turned on the tap and started washing his face only to find the haldi not removing at all as it had dried..

Manik: oh my god! What the hell..yeh kya..yeh ja kyu nehi raha hain nandini?

Nandini: oh my god! You are such a baby manik..

Nandin held his hand and turned him around facing her..she took a towel and soaked it in water and then started wiping his cheek with it..

Manik smiling looked at her and moved his hand to her waist...

Nandini: mr.malhotra control your emotions..warna yeh haldi aise hi reh jayega..

Manik pulled her closer: acha..kyu?

Nandini: kyuki mein toh nehi nikalne wali hoon..

Manik: yeh baat hain?

Nandini smiling: hmm..

Nandini moved the towel from his face and kept it on the basin cabinet staring at him with a smile..
Manik moved his hand to her dupatta and held it..

Nandini: manik no..

Manik started wiping his face with that dupatta while nandini looked at him with a grumpy look.. He wiped his face and then moved his face closer and whispered in her ear: i have my ways..
Manik then bit her earlobe to which nandini giggled and turned around to go..
Manik held her hand and pulled her back and nandini's back hit with his chest..

Manik snuggled his face on her hair and then kissed her neck..
Manik took the towel and then turned nandini around still holding her hand on her back and started wiping the haldi from her face..

Nandini smiling looked at him..
Nandini: i cant believe we are getting married..

Manik smiling kissed her cheek

Manik: now do u believe?

Nandini laughing; you are impossible..

He wiped the haldi and then they both washed their faces again..
Nandini wiped her face with a towel..

Manik: wait..i didnt apply haldi on you..

Nandini looked at him confused..

Manik: nandini give me haldi..

Nandini: how do i get haldi now? Nehi hain..

Manik: how stupid..mere liye rakh nehi sakti thi?

Nandini: wow manik malhotra..mein toh janti thi that tum mere washroom mein ake mujhe haldi lagane chahoge..i should have kept it sorry..

Manik: haha..very funny..

Nandini moved past him but manik held her hand and pulled her back..

Manik: haldi nehi..pani toh laga sakta hoon..

Nandini(loud): whatt?

Manik smiling moved his face which was wet closer to her one..nandini moved back but manik moved his hand to her waist and pulled her closer with a jerk.. He rubbed his cheeks with her one and nandini closer her eyes holding his shoulder..
He moved to the other side and again rubbed his cheek with her one..

Manik whispered in her ear: happy pani haldi nandini murthy soon to be malhotra..

Nandini giggled and pulled him in a hug..

At 5pm-

Nandini called manik..

Manik: hey..

Nandini: manik zara alya ko phone doge please..she is not picking up..

Manik: mein toh bahar hoon..

Nandini: ohho aab kaha ho?

Manik: woh thoda kam tha..

Just then dhruv and soha came and sat in his car..soha being soha started talking loudly..

Nandini: manik..is that soha?

Manik stammering: haan..woh we came..

Before he could say anything nandini cut the call and throwed her phone on the bed..

Manik: wth..

Dhruv: what happened?

Manik: bata nehi yaar..

Soha: manikk dekhoo i got my indian wear..

Manik gave a fake smile and drove off..

He reached home soon and called nandini..navya picked up nandini's phone..

Navya: hello..

Manik: nandini ko phone do..

Navya: woh ready ho rahi hain..

Manik(loud): mene kaha phone do..

Navya: acha baba..why are u shouting..

Navya gave the phone to nandini..

Nandini: sorry for cutting the call..woh i got thora sa mean..

Manik: thora sa?

Nandini: sorry bola na..why did u go out with her?

Manik: i didnt go on a date with her..dhruv requested me to take them to the mall as she had to get something..

Nandini: ohh..

Manik: phh my foot..

Nandini: i love you..

Manik: hmmm..

Nandini: jaldi aa jana..

Manik; mein mehendi ke liye ake kya karu? You havefun..

Nandini: but manik everyone is coming..you are coming too..

Manik: no sorry..

Nandini: manik please na..i said sorry..

Manik: no i am not coming..yeh lo alya se baat karo..

Nandini: but manik..

Manik gave the phone to alya..

Alya: haan nandini bolo..

Nandini; woh alya the makeup girl wasnt coming..but she came so no problem..

Alya: ohh okay cool..see you..

Nandini: yeah..byee..

Nandini cut the call making a sad face..

She started getting ready for the mehndi ceremony..
