The next day , they had sangeeth ceremony
It's a complete blast and everyone enjoyed to their fullest

The highlight is the dance performances by , Mr.&Mrs.SINHA and another by Mr.MALHOTRA

After another tiring night , everyone retired to catch some forty winks ; claiming that they enjoyed completely

After a tiring previous night , everyone slept till late morning and woke up for lunch

After having lunch , they involved themselves for the preparations of mehndi ceremony

In the evening , everyone gathered in the garden ; where all the arrangements for the mehndi ceremony has been done

NANDINI looked ethereal in that sea green & black saree ; that obviously MANIK selected for her

She got seated on the special couch arranged for her and soon the mehndi artists started applying mehndi on her hands ; as well as for others

Soon NANDINI's hands and legs are coated with beautiful mehndi design , along with MANIK's name hidden in the mehndi on her hands

The next day everyone woke up early , for the haldi ceremony

NANDINI is in her room , getting ready , sitting in front of the mirror

She is giving the last minute touch ups

She came out from the washroom , when she saw a shadow on the floor

It's said that it's a good shagun if the groom is the first one to apply haldi on his bride

So i came here to complete that rasam only

He said removing the haldi packet from his pocket and displaying it to her

There everyone must be waiting for u

Saying this he forwarded the packet to her

Finding no escape , NANDINI took some haldi in both her palms and rubbed them against his cheeks ; painting his white cheeks into yellow color

MANIK closed his eyes , feeling the touch of her soft hands on his cheeks

He opened his eyes , when he felt he lost that touch

He kept the packet on the side table and moved forward towards NANDINI , as she took backward steps

N - MANIK

She whispered , but MANIK couldn't hear anything

He is in the spell created by her eyes and same is the case with NANDINI

Soon she hit the wall and MANIK is jus centimetres away from her face

He covered the distance , still looking into her eyes intensely and rubbed his right cheek with her right

NANDINI's toes curled in anticipation and she closed her eyes feeling the moment

MANIK got separated from her for jus 2secs and again his skin made contact with her's

This time it's his left cheek with her left

Going further he rubbed his cheeks on her throat , her neck and her shoulders ; creating new unknown sensations in her insides

She moaned loudly on his sweet tortures ; which did nothing but ignited fire in him

He is about to go further and that is when his mobile started ringing

Being frustrated he took out his mobile , to see the caller to find it to be his father

Sensing that he must be very late ; he bid a bye to NANDINI and went to attend his haldi ceremony

After MANIK's haldi is over , some of the haldi which is applied to MANIK is mixed with the haldi , that is to be applied to NANDINI and then everyone started applying haldi on NANDINI

It's 6 in the evening and the whole SINHA mansion in Dehradun is lit up like a bride

There are lightings everywhere

Firstly the entrance of the mansion is decorated with white jasmine flowers and some scented natural leaves

The arrangement looked beautiful

Entering from this graceful entrance , we can directly go to the backyard ; where the wedding arrangements have been done for the most grand wedding of the century

There we can see a dazzling arch , which resembles a lotus flower and it is lit with colorful lights , which is giving it a more gorgeous look

Moving further , on the red carpet laid in the middle of the lotus arch ; we reach our destination to see

MANIK sitting admist the fascinating mandap , which is arranged in the middle of one of lakes

( imagine only MANIK seated ; not on the chair , but on the floor )

His DAD , CABIR and ALYA are his alongside ; as NANDINI wanted to spend some time with her parents

There are some beautiful and comfortable arrangements made for the guests to settle down to see the wedding

* vadhu ko bulayiye * PANDITJI called out for the bride ; much to MANIK's satisfaction , as he is desperately waiting to see her

As soon as PANDITJI said that CABIR and Mr.MALHOTRA went from there and MANIK looked at ALYA in confusion , who shrugged her shoulders

After about 5 - 7 minutes he saw NANDINI , who is being carried by Mr.SINHA , Mr.MALHOTRA , CABIR and some other relative in a paalki

( imagine it's carried by four
people )

MANIK smiled watching her
She is glowing admist the golden lights

Her eyes are reflecting her happiness and the smile is never to leave her lips

They reached near the mandap and ALYA & Mrs.MALHOTRA helped NANDINI get out of the paalki

NANDINI got seated on the right side of MANIK and both looked at each other and smiled

Both are looking charmistic and most elegant in those attires

Even NANDINI's jewelry is reflecting her happiness , by shining under the lights

Everyone stood up and MANAN exchanged garlands

They got seated again and after about 15 - 20 minutes , PANDITJI asked them to stand up to take pheras

Holding each other's hands with a promise that they will never leave each other's side , come what may

MANAN started walking around the fire

For the first three times , MANIK ahead of NANDINI and then for the next four , NANDINI ahead of MANIK

Everybody threw flower petals on the as their blessing

After completing , they got seated and and PANDITJI asked MANIK to put Sindhoor in NANDINI's maang

And MANIK did what he is asked for with utmost concentration , so that the vermilion doesn't go into her eyes

NANDINI closed her eyes , feeling the moment

Then PANDITJI asked MANIK to tie the mangalsutra around NANDINI's neck

ALYA forwarded a plate , in which the mangalsutra is kept ; towards MANIK

MANIK took it from the plate and tied it around NANDINI's neck properly
