Life wasn't that smooth but it was beautiful for them as they were together. They did fight, they did bicker on certain petty stuffs, they had very bad arguments with each other but at the end, they were together and that was the only thing mattered to them.

Nandini: Manik! Uth jaa!

Instead, Manik slept like he didn't sleep for years. She huffed and settled beside him.

Nandini: I've been trying to wake you up for the past 15 minutes. Hua kya hai aapko?

Manik groaned and looked the other side.

Nandini: Manik Malhotra!

Manik: Huh! Kaunsa ice-cream chahiye? Salt ice-cream?

He got up in a jerk and asked making her to scrunch her nose in confusion.

Nandini: Salt ice-cream? Kya bol rahe hai aap? Aur, kisko ice-cream chahiye?

Manik sighed on hearing it and after looking around.

Manik: I thought you got cravings again!

And he fell back on the bed to sleep again. Nandini pouted and slipped beside him.

Nandini: Mene bohath thang kiya hai kya aapko kal raath?

He smiled and took her in his arms.

Manik: Nahi. Par hamra baby kuch zyada hi tang kiya. Hum dhono ko.

He replied while kissing the side of her head and she turned to face him.

Nandini: Manik. Mein sach mein jaana chahthihun, aap bohath thak chuke hai na mere mood swings ke wajah se?

Manik: Haa wo tho hain. Par, zara ye bathayiye, ismein aapki kya galthi beewi sahiba? Sunlo meri baath, tum shayadh bhool rahi ho ki baby ham dhono ki hai aur thang wo kar rahi hai, tum nahi. So, zip your mouth and use it for something useful.

Nandini smiled and hit his head with hers.

Nandini: Jaise ki?

Manik: Jaise ke yeh.

He kissed her softly and she smiled amidst their kiss.

Manik: Good morning, Mrs. Malhotra.

Nandini: Good morning, Mr. Malhotra! Aap sojao thab thak mein breakfast ready karthi hun.

She kissed his head and walked out while he stared at her retreating figure with a smile and then fell into a slumber.

In the Afternoon.

"Happy wedding anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Manik Malhotra." the entire family- Chopras, Mukherjess and Malhotras hooted while Manik and Nandini smiled widely.

Manik/Nandini: Thank you.

They cut the cake and fed everyone. Soon, they slipped towards their balcony and got settled in each other's embrace.

Nandini: Manik.

Manik: Hmm?

Nandini: Aapko yaad hai, aaj wahi din hai jab humne shadi kiya.

Manik: Aur wahi din, agle saal, we became one. It seems to me like you became my wife yesterday when in reality, its been 4 years.

Nandini (smiled): Everything seems to be beautiful to me.

She kept her head on his chest while smiling.

Nandini: Manik.

Manik: I know you love me.

She giggled and kissed his heart.

Nandini: Won't you say anything?

Manik: Should I?

Nandini: You're supposed to be but its okay, if you don't want.

She straightened herself and shrugged her shoulders.

Manik: Tho phir teek hain, mein kisi aur se jawab doonga.

She held his collars while giving a deadly glare making him chuckle.

Manik: Possessive plus pregnant, acha combination hai beewi sahiba.

Nandini: Well, possessive plus grumpy bohath ghatiya combination hai, isiliye mein apne ex-classmate ke paas jaaongi jo mujhe propose kiya even after knowing I'm pregnant with my hubby dearest's baby.

He yanked her closer to him and spoke on her face.

Manik: Wo tho kabhi nahi honewala hain. Hum janthe hai hum kithna chahthe hai ek dusre ko. Sirf ek dusre ko.

They shared a kiss while smiling and joined their foreheads.

"Humesha ek dusre ko chahthe hain." They muttered to each other and chuckled and then preferred to stay in each others' embrace, to welcome a new future with their baby and maybe, more than one baby someday.
