In Murthy's house, it was already night and the full moon was quite clearly visible as the clouds disappeared. Nandini was all ready in her black dress, white inner shirt, and a ponytail with a red ribbon. Although it wasn't visible she was wearing shorts inside.

Why? Try riding a broom.

"Nandu, did you put your phone in the bag? Did you keep all the essentials? What about your brush?" Ishita questioned while Nandini blushed.

"Mom!" She spat out being embarrassed as some of the villagers chuckled at the mother and daughter.

"What's there to be embarrassed about? Did you or not?" She questioned while Nandini nodded her head stiffly.

"Did you keep the towel? And a spare dress? And pepper spray?" She asked while Nandini rolled her eyes in an unladylike manner.

"Mom I am a witch I don't need pepper spray." She spoke while Ishita gave her a look.

"You better check everything little lady, I don't want you flying back just because you left your undies." She spoke while Nandini facepalmed.

Whenever her mother was anxious she speaks very bluntly. Like literally blunt.

"Ishita, take it easy and just trust her after all she is your daughter," Raman spoke saving Nandini from the embarrassing situation.

"I am worried because she is my daughter," Ishita spoke with a pout while Raman patted her head with a sigh.

"Amma and Appa, I should go now," Nandini said looking at the moon with a smile.

"Is it that time already?" Raman asked with a sad smile while Nandini hugged her father.

"I will come back soon," Nandini whispered while Raman knew that wasn't going to happen anytime soon.

Every witch in the family after turning 16 leaves her nest and travels around the world to find a perfect place for her to live.

She would stay there for a year minimum to get accustomed and learn to live on her own. Usually, most of the witches never come back home (like she would live in the new place permanently but would visit her hometown once in a while.)

And most of the witches prefer staying in a place with no other witch to avoid fights.

"Take care and call me every single minute," Ishita spoke as she handed the broom to Nandini who rolled her eyes.

"Yes, Amma I will."She spoke hugging her mother once and let go.

"Ok, then bye everyone. Take care." She announced with a smile while everyone echoed bye and safe journey.

"Take care Nandu, don't fly too high, and look out for the airplanes." Her mother took a step forward and smiled at her widely.

"Mew-Mew!" Nandini called out to her black cat who lazily walked to her side and climbed on to her duffle bag.

Nandini climbed on to the broom and flew up to the sky.

"I love you guys!" She shouted from above while everyone echoed we love you too. Nandini flew forward slowly.

"Make sure to get a boyfriend!" Ishita shouted using amplification magic, making Nandini lose balance and hit the tree below her.

"Mew!" the cat let out a cry and held onto the bag like it's life depended on it.

The broom staggered a little due to her sudden magic fluctuation as a result of her embarrassment.

Amma please just please don't speak another word.

She thought as she flew away increasing her speed.

"My little bird is gone now," Raman spoke looking at the endless sky while Ishita leaned on his shoulder.

"I will miss her." She spoke with a smile while Raman tilted his head a little bumping into Ishita's head.

"Ow! Raman." She exclaimed while Raman chuckled.

"Let's go in. Everyone's returning back." Raman spoke looking at the villagers and nodding at them with a smile.

Ishita just hummed and walked inside the house.

"We have come a long way right Mew-Mew," Nandini closed her eyes to feel the fresh wind hitting her face.

"Yes, Mew! Where will we go Mew?" the cat asked making Nandini halt in mid-air.

"Hmm." She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. The wind hitting her face came from the north.

"This way." Nandini pointed in the north direction.

"Are you sure Mew?" The cat asked nuzzling his head in her stomach.

"Yup. I feel good about this direction. Now let's go! Full speed ahead broom." She announced and the broom sped away.

"MEWWW!" the cat screamed as it held Nandini's dress tightly.

After some time.

"Nandini, how much more time mew?" Mew-Mew asked as it has been 3 hours since they started.

"Look mew! Village mew." Mew-Mew pointed his paw at the small village ahead while Nandini shook her head looking down.

"No Mew?"

"No," Nandini spoke while Mew-Mew sighed.

"Let's go higher Mew-Mew," Nandini spoke as the broom elevated even higher as she went into the clouds.

"No Mew, Mom told no." Mew-Mew tugged her dress with his paw.

"Mew-Mew! You are going to tear it." Nandini spoke as she looked down and held Mew-Mew's with one hand and pulled him away from her. He was now dangling in mid air.

"Airplane Mew!" Mew-Mew spoke looking in front of them.

Nandini looked at the plane with a horrified expression.

"AHHHH!" She immediately held the broom and lowered it with all her might. Mew-Mew held her sleeve tightly with his paw. Her sight was blocked by the clouds as she crashed into someone.

She held her broom tightly so she managed not to fall down after few turns in the air. She opened her eyes a little. She felt dizzy all of a sudden before going back to normal. She looked up to see a girl of her age wearing a black dress slightly different from hers and a thin black cat holding the broom tightly.

She looked really pale.

"I am so sorry," Nandini spoke flying towards the girl who looked really sick.

"Mint" The girl whispered.

"What?" Nandini questioned as she couldn't hear it well.

"My Mint." She spoke a bit louder this time. Her face went even pale.

"Mint?" Nandini titled her head being confused.
