Hello, Welcome to my new story!!!!

"Nandini! Wake up you lazy broom!" Mrs. Murthy aka Ishita shouted from the kitchen. Raman who just happily entered the living room with a newspaper in his hands from outside sighed hearing this.

He counted one, two, three in his head.

"Raman! Go wake your daughter up. It's her graduation today." She spoke coming out of the kitchen with two bowls of salad and putting it on the small dining table which was just enough for three people.

He looked at the newspaper longingly before putting it on the table and going up to Nandini's room. Her room was the last one on the floor and it had a breathtaking view of the green meadows.

He knocked the door thrice before entering in to see his daughter sleeping with the blanket on her face. He chuckled at that before going near her and pulling the blanket down to see a pillow instead of his beloved daughter.

He frowned a little before taking off the blanket completely to see a lot of pillows piled together.

He then heard giggles from the window. He turned to see Nandini sitting on a broom and laughing at him.

"You little hat! Come back in, your mother is going crazy about you." He spoke coming near the window. Nandini was all ready for her D-Day aka the graduation ceremony. She was wearing a knee-length black dress with white collar. Her long hair was tied up in a ponytail with a red ribbon.

"It's just graduation Appa." She spoke rolling her eyes while Raman looked at Nandini with a gentle look.

"But you are going to go away from here after graduation aren't you. Your Mom may worry too much but she loves you just as much." He spoke making Nandini smile.

"I know Appa and I love her as much too, only if she scolded a little less." She spoke showing her tongue as she lowered her broom to land while Raman smiled at her from above. He took his time to come down.

"Amma! Come on, salad? you got to be kidding me?" She spoke as she made a bad face looking at the food.

"My house my rules, if you got any problem missy the door is there." She pointed out while Nandini pouted and sat down with a humph and turned her head the other way.

This pair of mother and daughter! They are hiding their sadness by behaving normally as if it was just any other day.

He thought as he sat on the chair beside Nandini. Nandini started eating her salad while Ishita looked at her daughter eating as if she was trying to engrave her picture in her mind.

Nandini knew what Ishita was doing but didn't raise her head as she didn't want to cry in front of her mother.

"So Nandini did you decide where you want to go? Which city?" Raman asked switching the topic while Nandini looked at him with a wide smile.

"Nope!" She spoke contrary to her expression while Raman widened his eyes.

"Wa- What?"

"No Appa. I just want to go where the wind takes me." She spoke while Ishita coughed.

"Are you out of your mind? It's too dangerous." She exclaimed while Nandini pouted.

"Amma nothing will happen, I am a witch." She spoke holding her mother's hand while Ishita sighed.

"But-"

"Amma." She spoke looking at Ishita, her gaze was unwavering.

"Alright, but send me your location as soon as you reach," Ishita spoke while Nandini nodded her head.

"Or, better download the GPS app," Ishita spoke while Nandini nodded her head again.

"Don't forget to call me. If you are busy, message me at least." She spoke while Nandini smiled worriedly but again nodded her head.

No matter what her mother said she would agree. After all, this may be the last time she would meet her mother face to face. The next she would visit would be far in the future.

"Now, now Ishita. There are still 5 more days left until the full moon, she isn't going anywhere now. And it's getting late for her school." Raman spoke while Nandini widened her eyes realizing the time.

"Oh my hat! I need to go Amma." She spoke as she stood up and ran towards her room to get her bag.

"Nandini! Get back here. Eat your breakfast!" Ishita shouted while holding Nandini's salad plate while Nandini jumped on to the broom.

"Bye Amma!" She waved her hand as she flew forward.

"Geez! I can't believe that girl left without completing her breakfast. Every day she does the same thing I can't help but wonder how can she stay alone now?" Ishita spoke as she took the plate to the kitchen and emptied the salad into the bin.

"Now, now." Raman patted Ishita's head as he handed her the rest of the plates.

At Flight Academy.

"Greetings witches and my heartfelt congratulations to all those who are about to graduate today. It has been a really wonderful experience to teach all of you for the past few years. Although it's sad to part ways, a lot of beautiful days are yet to come by. I hope every one of you becomes the witch you have dreamed of." Mrs. Agarwal completed her speech and started calling one by one to receive the certificate and a golden colored brooch with a cat design which signifies that the witch has completed her schooling.

Nandini was sitting in the middle row looking at the girls smile happily when their names were called. She was really excited.

After three more people my name will come. Oh, moon! I can't believe I am officially graduating. But where is mew-mew?

She thought as she looked inside her bag to see nothing except her essentials. Her beloved cat was missing.

"Ms. Murthy!" Mrs. Agarwal called her twice. Nandini stood up immediately in attention position while the other witches laughed at her making her blush.

"Ahem! Alright, Come on Ms. Murthy." She gestured while Nandini nodded her hand and took a deep breath before walking forward.

"As always, you pay the least attention to your surroundings when you are in a dilemma." Mrs. Agarwal spoke with a stern expression as she handed out the certificate while Nandini smiled sheepishly.

"Congratulations Ms. Murthy on your graduation from Flight Academy. I hope you become a wonderful witch." She spoke pinning the brooch on Nandini's dress.

"Thank you, Mrs. Agarwal, for all those years of teaching." She spoke with a smile while Mrs. Agarwal smiled slightly.

"A small personal advice from me Ms. Murthy, If you ever find something which makes you confused or puts you in a dilemma just listen to your heart. The answer to everything is in here." She spoke while Nandini blinked her eyes before smiling brightly and nodded her head.

"Now you may go." Mrs. Agarwal spoke while Nandini bowed down in respect and returned back to her seat to see a black fluffy cat sitting on her chair. It wasn't fat it just had a lot of fur.

"Mew-Mew!" She exclaimed taking it into her arms and hugging it.

"Cough! Nandini, le-t go Mew."Mew-Mew spoke with a lot of difficulties.

"Oops, but you left me." She accused as she took a seat while Mew-Mew stood on her lap and licked his paw.

"The group photo and singles are taken in the hall. Everyone can go there after this. So, my dear girls! I hope you have a great year ahead." Mrs. Agarwal concluded the speech. Everyone stood up and thanked her and started moving towards the hall. Nandini and her friends Ananya and Karen walked side by side.

"I hope I can find a great city." Ananya sighed while Nandini nodded her head.

"Between Nandini, did you decide where you want to go?" Karen asked her who shook her head.

"What about you?"

"Yup! After a lot of dilly-dallying, I have finally decided to go to new york." She spoke with a dreamy sigh while Nandini chuckled.

"The only reason you would go there would be because of your childhood crush, am I right or am I right?" Nandini spoke while Ananya awed making Karen blush.

"Shut up you guys! It's like you don't want to have a boyfriend. I bet Ananya will be the first one to get one." Karen spoke while Ananya narrowed her eyes at Karen who showed her tongue.

"OK, stop, we have arrived," Nandini spoke making them pout.

"I want to spend more time with you guys," Ananya spoke holding Nandini's hand while Nandini tightened her hold.

"Me too." Both Nandini and Karen spoke making Ananya giggle.

"I am really gonna miss you," Nandini spoke while Karen held Nandini's other hand.

They were together since they joined this school. A lot of memories and a lot of fights. Nothing could describe their friendship.

"But we will call each other always," Karen spoke.

"And visit sometime," Ananya spoke.

"And stay like this even if we are apart," Nandini spoke with determination while the other two hugged her tightly.

Their moment was disturbed by the photographer who captured the moment for them.

They looked at the picture and looked at each other before bursting into giggles.

"Never forget each other." They spoke at a time.

And before Nandini knew, It was time for her departure.
