"Go Manik.." My inner soul told me to get inside. I should go, I'm not scared of you Nandini Murthy. Shooing all my negative thoughts away; I stepped inside.

All dark! Why?!! "Alya..?" I shouted for her, still hoping that if she had survived but no! My hope was broken into pieces when I saw her with all her friends at the side of the door. Alya, Mukti, Aryamann, Harshad, Ovi! All DEAD!

"Oh Gracious God!!" I was startled at my place, seeing their dead bodies! My eyes became teary! I stared at the cupboard, its door was lightly opened. I marched forward to it and pulled it more just to get a clearer view of inside. It looked like a cupboard but it was exactly like a fridge! I saw a girl's dead body. I couldn't see her clearly as her hair were covering her face. All around was ice and herbs, just to prevent the body to decompose

"Maybe it's her." I mumbled. Yes, it must be Nandini Murthy only. And today I would see her face. My arms and legs began to twitch. I moved her hair to the side with my trembling hands. And.. I was frozen at my place

"Cu..Cutie.." My voice was not even coming out. I was numb!! Totally shocked.

"Nan-dini..she's, means..Cutie.." My Voice trembled as I began to speak. I stared at her face.

"Innocent soul. She was Nandini Murthy, the one who commited suicide?!! Oh My God!!!" I bend down on my knees, palming my mouth.

Here I was looking for Nandini Murthy unaware that she was with me all the time. Her body is here, that's why her spirit is still roaming! But who hide her body here? I stood up and check backside. It had a long wire which was pluged in, just to get the fridge 'on'.

Who could do such thing?!!! Who??

"Hey you!!" I heard a voice. I turned and found a man. Seems in his 40s..

"Who are you!! Get out from here!" His voice carried kind of aggression..! I could see his face., he was looking weird! His eyes were blood red!

"Get out!!" He pushed me with a force that I fell down.

God! This old man had so much power!!

I stood up again and he picked up a rod which was placed in the corner

WTH!!!

He came to me, ready to attack me! I fisted my hand and was all ready to attack him as well

"Manik... no stop!!" I stopped, hearing her voice.. Cutie! And to my surprise, that angry old man, stopped at his place too.!

"Manik.." She ran towards us.

"Don't hit him..!" She glared at the man who was already looking at her with, bloodshot eyes.

"Whyy..?!! Even he deserves it!!!" That man said. But why did I deserve it?? And wait..!

He said in an annoying, female voice! just like Cutie's voice! I looked more deeper in his eyes.. and I stumbled back!

Dammn!! He was possed by a demon! How couldn't I notice that before..?!!!
And why was Cutie arguing with him, to not to hit me? ??

"He deserves it!!!" I was so busy in my thoughts that I didn't realise when the man hit me on my head with the rod

"Manik!!" Cutie held me, trying her best not to let me fall down

"Let him die. What he did with you, he should die, he deserves it!!" I could hardly see his & my Cutie's face. My vision was getting blur!

"I'm so-sorry love.." I heard Cutie's cracking voice..

Love..?

Did she just call me 'that'?

Oh God..

And Lastly..

Darkness overpowered me..

"I'm so-sorry love.." Her voice echoed in my ears..

"Cutie.." I yelped as I promptly opened my eyes

God..so many questions and answers.. NONE!

I looked around, It was the living room and there was no one. My head was aching due to the hit on my head. Dammit! I was lying on a couch and..

Eww! So dusty!!

I immediately stood up from the couch and straightened my clothes, removing the dusts

I was in someone else home! Actually it was Nandini Murthy's house! How did I land up here?! That old man hit me on my head, agrrhhh! No..actually it was the demon, who hit me! But why?? What did I do? And who brought me here??

"Nandini Murthy!!" I yelled. But to my dismay, there was no one! No spirits..not even that man!

And Nandini's dead body?!

Sh!t!! I made my way to the exit door. I twisted the door knob but it didn't open.

"Great! Only this was left to happen.." I was hell annoyed. I looked aside. There was a board, hanging on the wall

What's that..?!

Oh..trying to make me scared huh..?!

"I'm not scared. Manik Malhotra is fearless." I whispered proudly and turned to the door when

"What the!!" I stumbled back, I instantly put my hand at on my chest.

My heart was beating faster than normal..!

Oh f!sh!! That was.. unexpected! I was petrified..!

I mean..I'm not scared but If someone just appear like this then..heart attack is a must!

I again looked more clearly at the door, but nothing was in view.

Maybe I was imagining..

Hell Manik..how could you imagine 'that' ??! Argh!

I looked around, the house was little dusty, seems like no one lived here since Nandini died. And surprisingly, there was electricity too!

Strange! No one lives here then how..??

Someone was paying for the electricity! Yes! Someone was behind all of this!

But who was that 'someone' ??

I so wanted to get out from here. I walked forward, hoping to get a way out.

"No dad!" I startled at my place as I heard a loud sob!

"They are so cruel!! They aren't human dad! All are heartless! They are inhuman!! Inhuman!!" I could hear someone's sobbing and some cracking sounds

I walked to the way from where the noise were coming. I noticed a room. The door of that room was already open.

I entered inside. Maybe I could get some clue..

Darkness..!

I tried to find the switcher, thankfully I found it. I switched on the light.

The room, was a little dusty. Few books on the table.

"I can't live dad! I can't..!" I heard HER voice! Her sobbing!

Nandini...

I looked at the corner and there SHE was! Sitting down, with her arms folded across her legs, hugging her knees close to her chest.

"Cutie.." I whispered, but she didn't looked at me. Her head was low enough, to rest on her knees

"Cutie..!" I called her again but she didn't look at me. I walked forward to her

"Nandini.." I called her by her real name and this time, she raised her head. Her eyes red, swollen! Tears were constantly flowing out from her eyes..

"You..how? I mean..here?" I was stumbling with words and she didn't answer me either. I didn't know what to say! What should I ask first?

Why she killed Harshad & his friends..

Or why she commited suicide..

Or why she called me 'love' ..

I kneeled down and sat beside her..

Ooh..she was still weeping!

I didn't know why but..It was hurting!!

Yes, It hurts to see her in this state!

"Nandini, why did you.." I was about to speak further when that Man appeared infront of us!

"Nandu..be strong! Let's report it to the officer." He was the same man, who tried to hit me!

"Nandini..who's he?" I asked, facing Nandini but she didn't give an answer

"Are you serious?! Didn't I tell you how scary they are! The officers won't do anything in my favour dad." She cried more and..more!

"Then let's tell the headmistress about their deeds." That man said. I was looking at them, just like a confused soul!

"No Dad, It's useless! The headmistress won't do anything! She will just get annoyed and scold them and then.. they will do the same disgusting things with me again, dad! Other students like it when I'm bullied! It makes them feel safe! I can't take this anymore.. No!" She screamed out, in frustration.

So He was her 'Dad'.?!! And Bullied..???? She was bullied?!! Oh god, what were they talking about?? And how come I'm seeing them but they.. they aren't even noticing me!

Why?

Is this a Phantasm or what..?
