"Ring-a Ringa-a roses
A pocket full of poises,
Ashes! Ashes.." My eyes got shot opened when I heard her singing!

And guess what? I found myself on the same garage! But no glimpse of Nandini! I came back to the present! There was a small tubelight lightning on and I saw Harshad & his friends, dead body were still lying there. Pool of blood around and I felt disgusted! My gaze moved to that man who was lying on the ground. Nandini's dad!

"Hey uncle, wake up!" I tried waking him up but he was unconscious. Nandini's dead body was still on there!

What should I do?!

Grandpa! I should call him. I hastily dialled his number

"Yes son? Everything's alright? Why weren't you picking my calls? I was worried!" He asked as soon he picked up

"Grandpa, everything is in a real mess right now! I've got the body of Nandini Murthy." I spoke in a go. I was scared though what if the spirit would come..? It would be difficult for me to handle her

"What! Her body? Where?"

"Here, in the garage which is just backside of her house. I'll text you her address. Just call your friend! We need him" I said

"Yeah, okay. Take care. If something happens then remember, you still have that knife!" Oh yeah! Knife! I totally forgot about that! I touched my pocket to check and sighed as it was still there.

I cut the call. I moved towards Nandini's body when all of a sudden, the small tubelight got off

Damn!

I shook my head, and was about to take my phone from my pocket when the tubelight lightened on, again!

What the--!

Am I trapped or am I trapped?

Sh!t! I'm trapped! I guess, the spirit was coming or...

She was here already?!

"Manik! My baby! My love!" Hain? Baby? Love? I looked around, trying to get her glimpse! I know it was the demon, Nandini!

"Maaaaniiikk....." It was a soft whisper! And voila,! The lights went off! It was dark and I couldn't see Nandini's body!

"Hello! Listen, just cut the crap okay! If you think I'm scared of you then you're absolutely wrong" I said, loud enough that my voice echoed in the garage

"Shh......" Again a whisper!

Ashes! Ashes.." She was humming the song softly but soon it became loud, louder..

Loudest!

"Shut up!! Please make it stop it hurts so much! Damn my ears!!" I shut my ears, not being able to tolerate that loud voice!

My eyes closed, my hands palming my ears, and the voice stopped! I could hear some scratches like someone was writing on the window glass! My gaze moved to the front and...

"KILLER?!!" I pronounced the word, why did she write this? Why?

"Yes, Killer!" And here came her voice. I turned around and

"Bhooo..!!!" Her loud voice made me shut my ears again! I couldn't see much but just her evil eyes came in my glance

"What do you want Nandini. Just tell me! You killled your enemies, aren't you satisfied now?" I yelled

"Shh...!!!!!" She whispered as she appeared in front of me, just close to my face!

"Shh! Don't you know, you shouldn't scream to evil spirits! Else..." Her eyes were fixed on mine

"Else what huh? Like I said earlier, I'm not scared!" I screamed again and she seemed to be annoyed but who cares? I was literally not scared of her!

"You're a killer!" She said, her voice carried a kind of aggression!

"Why? What have I done?" Frowns had already creased my forehead

"You're the killer of my Heart" Came her reply, her voice was still stern

"What?!" I was still confused when I felt a hard push on my back and I landed on the floor.

Ouch, that hurts!

"Manik.." I heard a soft voice. Her voice!

"Cutie.." I spoke as I saw her coming close to me and the lights came back!

"Wake up" She helped me to stand "You.., you're fine na?" She panicked as she searched of any injuries on my body

"Cutie?" Okay, I had a doubt, this could be the demon!

"Yes" She said softly and hugged me with a full force.

"Hey!" I reciprocated the hug instantly. Idk but I was feeling bad! Bad for her! She'd been through so much in her past!

If she wouldn't have committed suicide, I would have got a chance to meet her in my class, and we would have been friends, best-friends! And maybe..Lovers?

No! She killed Harshad and his friends, she even tried to harm me just now! I pushed her away from me while she looked bewildered but then, she spoke

"Manik go, run"

"What? Why?" I pressed my lips together, trying to control my anger

"I said run, because she'd already killed her enemies and now she's gonna come again and kill you too!"

"But why? Who will kill me?" Okay, she have to give an explanation now! "Listen! Don't try to instigate me okay! You killed Harshad and all his friends!" I snapped at her, she was trying to make up stories! I knew she killed all of them. Now why was she pretending?

"Manik, go away please! She'll kill you too" She cried..huh! I didn't know that spirits cry too?! But I wasn't afraid of anyone! Be it any demon.

Most of all, she wasn't telling me the real thing! I was literally standing like a confused soul though.

"Why me? Why?? What have I done?"

"Because you left me dammit!!"

What! I left her??

How? When? Why?

God... so many confusions!!!

Why would I left someone whom I haven't even met before? Did I have any connection with her in the past?!

"Go Manik, else she'll come back"

Who would come back???

"Maybe Nandini was an innocent. She couldn't handle the pain; the anger. That's why her soul split into two! That is one is the innocent spirit, who knows nothing and the other is the revengeful spirit who wants her revenge!" Grandpa's words echoed in my ears! Yes, so Cutie was talking about the second revengeful spirit! Cutie was the innocent one!

"But what about your dad?!"

"Nothing will happen to him because he's my dad. Now go" She pushed me towards the door but I wasn't willing to go! I wanted answers!

"Ah!!!!" She yelled out, holding her head as she stumbled back

"Cutie!" I held her both shoulders immediately, to support her

What was happening to her?

And suddenly she got disappeared and I didn't know where?!

Her dead body was still lying down there! I just wanted grandpa to come here as soon as possible!

But she said that I left her!

When did I leave her? I didn't even know Nandini then how..?

I was still trying to figure out about it when I heard a voice

"Hey son!" It was Nandini's dad!

"Uncle!" I helped him to stand. He took a deep breath and spoke "I'm sorry son. I did wrong" I exactly knew what he wanted to say but I wasn't furious, I knew it wasn't him but the demon, who had harm me!

"It's okay uncle. I know it wasn't you but Nandini's evil spirit! But I want my answers! Why is Nandini's body here? Who did this? And--"

"Me! It was me who kept her body here" And this felt like a bomb which just got explode in my head.

Her own father kept her body here?

"What!!" That was so unexpected!

"Yes, it's me who kept her body here"

"But why?" I was curious to know it

"Because I never wanted her to go! She was my daughter and I love her alot! But now she became evil and--" He screamed out, he was slightly losing his voice, tears were rolling down his cheek.

Okay, I could understand his state. He'd missed her daughter so much but keeping her dead body still, wasn't the right thing!

"But uncle, this isn't a good thing! See what the evil spirit did!" He looked at the direction as I pointed at the dead bodies and he felt disgusted too. Obviously, the sight was too creepy!

"You should let go the person who dies! Don't you want your daughter to get her peace?" I tried explaining him

"I know! I know her soul is roaming around! She killed her evil classmates and I know she won't spare those who didn't stay with her. I did a big mistake and I wanted to do her funeral but whenever I tried to get her body from here, something would definitely happened! As in; I felt some kind of feelings stopping me to do so! Some strong powers!" He said.

Okay so Nandini Murthy never wanted to leave this place because she wanted her revenge which she'd already taken and now she should go! She have to!

"Don't worry uncle. My grandpa is coming here with a friend! They'll surely do something!"

I really hope they would able to destroy the evil!

We both were still there, waiting for my grandpa. Why was he taking so much time?!

"What's your name, son?" He broke the silence

"It's Manik, Manik Malhotra" And he looked like he was trying to figure out something

"You--did you leave India long years back?" How did he come to know that?!

"Yes I did! I was in abroad and I just came India few days back" I said, hastily and his eyes widened

"Sh!t! Manik run away! Else Nandini will come to you!" Run away? Why? First it was Cutie, and now her dad! Damn!

I'm not gonna run away! Why should I run away when I haven't even done something wrong!

I didn't do anything wrong to Nandini no.. Did I..??!
