Being tired with the whole chaos around him Manik slept on Nandini still inside her. Nandini was still catching her breathes wen she realised his body being more heavy on her n that's wen she realised that he is fast asleep.

She tried to move and then realised that he is still inside her and remembered that how they became one n she went in flashbacks and that wens she again remembered that he is badly hurt physically and she needs to treat him.

She hugged him tightly and then rolled herself on him making him lay down on the floor over a thin bedsheet as their mattress. Wen she rolled their body moved n it pained her down there bt she controlled herself.

Making him lay straight Nandini came up on him and all ready to come out of him. Unaware of all this she was taking all that easily bt as soon as she moved out a lil she felt extreme pain on her part. Palming her mouth to not let out her painful hiss n wake up Manik Nandini with other hand cupped her lower abdomen.

Taking deep long breathes Nandini came out of him n immediately covered Manik with the quilt they bought. She sat a lil away from him and realised that her part is flowing some liquid n she cupped her to stop and rush to the small bathroom there made up of mud to clean herself.

She removed her hand and noticed blood n realised wat it was she quickly cleaned her down part and came back to wear something. She picked up manik's shirt bt realised that it's to dirty and tmrw morning he will need it.

Leaving his shirt she quickly wore her dress (same orange dress of talent hunt n Manik also in his orange shirt) and came to the small kitchen still cupping her lower abdomen which was paining to her.

She quickly made haldi paste and came near him. She caressed the wound in his hand and again cried thinking wat all difficulties he have to go through and how he use to live his life back there in Mumbai.

Admist her tears Nandini applied that paste on his wound on his palm and hands and back of shoulder. Once she was done with that she came out of her house near the hand pump and started removing water from that.

Getting in she took manik's clothes and went in the small bathroom and started washing his clothes inspite of the pain in her body. Washing the clothes she quickly hang them for drying n than came beside Manik to sleep. Bt sleep was far away from him as she was adoring Manik bt noticed his restless, hurt n tired face and cried for him. Unknowingly she slept close to him.

She woke up in the morning wen there was continuous knock on the door. Hurriedly she woke up and rushed to the door. Wen she opened the door it was the same lady living beside her in short her neighbour with whom she gelled up quickly yesterday.

She opened lil of th door as she knew manik's condition.and asked

Nan-aap yahan

La-ji Mei yeh bol ne aayi thi k gaon k saare mard thodi duri pe kaam krne jate hai aur 9 baje ek bus aati hai unhone lekar jaati hai aur shaam ko chod k jaati hai... tere bind (husband) ko bhi kaam chahiye na toh waha pe mil jayega

Nandini was a lil happy that so much facility is been provided so the work will be good only so she agreed and thanked her and asked

Nan-abhi kitne baje hai

La-6 baj gaye hai

Than she closed the door and got back to her work. She quickly started her cooking so that she can send lunch with Manik. Than she made breakfast for them and than she filled a vessel to boil water so that Manik can take a bath from that by mixing some normal water .

While the water was boiling. Nandini came to Manik who was sleeping deeply due to tiredness. Nandini very softly and gently woke him up.

As he woke up he snuggled in Nandini which she happily did for him. Than pecking his head from time to time she told him abt the work that her neighbour told and than she told him to ready.

As soon as he sat Nandini stood up as the water was boiled they way she required. She picked that hot vessel carefully with the cloth and immediately came to the bathroom n pour it in half filled normal water. She than checked the water temperature and reached that it was good enough for him.

She handed him the towel and told him abt his naked condition than she turn her back so that he can go. Manik was noticing everything that Nandini was doing from the time he woke up and thought that how can she mould herself so easily in this just for him.

He moved in the bathroom to take a bath behind the wooden plank

(The wooden plank that covered their bathroom and lil of the floor outside so that they can chng)

Here Nandini came out to check manik's clothes as they are dried quickly due to the warm climate of Rajasthan. She gathered them n immediately hanged them up on the wooden plank from the opposite side and got back to her work.

Manik chngd himself in his same clothes and realised it to be clean and fresh so he came out wiping his hair and asked

Ma-Nandini mere kapde

Nan-Mei dhoye

She gave him the ans of is unfinished question and then pour tea in a glass Made of glass and said to him

Nan-chalo nashta kar lo then you have to go na .

N she served them roti and some thick  gravy like food with tea as there is no bread or bun or something else like that available in that village.

Manik sat on the floor near the stove whr Nandini had placed their breakfast. While Nandini to sat opposite him and ready to eat the breakfast. Manik easily broke a morsel and then he remembered that last nite his hand was paining badly so while chewing his food her looked at his palm n noticed some lite yellow colour on it and than he saw that all his swelling and pain is gone leaving a red pink patch of the wound. Nandini noticed him looking at his actions and asked softly

Nan-ab dard nhi ho rha hai na

Hearing her Manik looked at her and than asked

Ma-tumne kuch kiya

Nan-haan thodi si dawai lagai thi desi dawai jo muje aati hai banane haldi n all usse dard nhi hota hai.......ab tumhe ho rha hai kya dard ..

Manik nodded his head in no and they resumed their eating session. After they were done Nandini looked out and saw still there is time as no men are been seen around. She quickly filled a steel tiffin box with veggie and roti for Manik.

After 5 mins all the men that go out of village started bidding bye at their house and Cmg out so Nandini quickly came to Manik and said handing him the box and said

Nan-ismei lunch hai plz lunch k time pe kha lena.....

Manik took that from her and quickly kissed her forehead and said

Ma-kyu kr rhi ho yeh sab

Nan-sshh (keeping her finger on his lips) kaam k time jate samai aisi baatein nhi krte hai.....(kissed his cheek) aur abhi tum fikr mat karo I m perfectly fine not fine excellent bcoz you are with me n I don't need anything else than that........abhi tum Jao hum shaam ko milenge aur fir bahut saari baatein krenge thik hai......plz apna Khana kha Lena time pe

Saying this she cupped his cheek and kissed his forehead and said near his nose

Nan-I love you

Manik immediately engulfed her  in his arms and said

Ma-I love you too

Breaking the hug Manik cupped her cheeks and said

Ma-plz apna Dhyan rakhna........Mei jldi aajaoga

Nandini smiling bobbed her head and than forwarded the tiffin to him and he smilingly took that. They walked to the door and Manik said

Ma-take care okay

Nandini again bobbed her head and then opened the door and Manik bidding her bye left. While Nandini was waving her hand to him smilingly till the time he was turning back again and again until they were out of each other's sight.

As soon as he left Nandini closed the door n immediately cupped her lower abdomen which was paining from long back bt she controlled herself in front of Manik and sat in one corner of the house crying silently due to pain.

She sat and sat there only until she dozed of in the same position... after 2 hours she woke up and now her pain was Pretty much less than before. But she dint have strength to stand and work waterever it was.

While resting her head on the wall Nandini was thinking abt their past days and all and than concluded from last night incident that Manik needs clothes as he have to go out to work and all and even she needs a chng only a pair bt it's needed. She with lots of courage stood up from her place and came out of the house to her neighbourhood.

She knocked the door n they let her in.. Cmg in Nandini asked the lady abt clothes shop or tailor and got to know that it is available in the same market from whr she n Manik bought few household stuffs. Nandini asked the lady if she could come with her n help n she agreed. So Nandini came back in her house and removed that money that Manik earned previous day n handed it to her and than came out.

They came in the market n entered a tailor shop. From there she selected the softest material available with him for Manik n immediately gave him to stitch it as she had a lil of idea of his measurements. They made 3 shirts n 1 pant for him n it only cost 100 rs so Nandini paid that n thanked him and left . Cmg back the lady said to Nandini to buy something for herself too bt Nandini denied still she took her in one ladies shop and asked her to purchase something so Nandini bought one of the cheapest pair of dress available with him paid him and came back home

Cmg back she washed manik's new clothes and dried that up and than she washed her used clothes,took a bath. Putting some warm water on her abdomen the pain subsides to maximum. Chnging herself in new dress of her Nandini hanged her clothes too to dry up and than she relaxed.

Here after Manik left from village following all the men he waited at the road with those men. Soon bus arrived and all climbed that and the journey started . After half n hour drive the bus drop them at a construction site n left.

Cmg in he met to the head person allotting the work and told him that he needs work to earn money . He being a polite men agreed to keep him and showed him the work he has to do that was of carrying bricks and cement bags on the higher level of building or wherever required and all n Manik agreed.

He started working  non stop as per the instructions till lunch time. As it was lunch time he remembered his food and than Nandini. He took his tiffin box and sat at of the loneliest corner of the site and started eating his food thinking abt Nandini. While eating he also remembered abt the betrayal from his friends and a question mark on his identity and a plan started building in his mind.
