Avoid mistakes if any.

Next day, Nandini woke up and found Manik sleeping. She got up and got fresh. Previous day she promised to move on but it's not a one day work to live back normally. After all she was the mother, come what may but she was determined to not hurt Manik more with this thing now.

She will do her best to bring back happiness in this house again even without forgetting abt their unborn child. With determination to take one step a day. Nandini got up from bed and got fresh. She came down to work slowly slowly so that it distracts her mind.

She just climbed off the stairs, when the door bell rang. Nandini opened the door to find Radha tai over there. Seeing Nandini at her house again after so many days bought happy tears in Radha tai's eyes. She immediately hugged Nandini and said.

Rt-aap wapas aagai didi.......aapko dekh k kitna aacha lag rha hai.

Nandini just hhmmed and then let Radha tai in. They both entered the kitchen one after the other and Radha tai was talking continuously. Nandini was listening to her and went to prepare for breakfast. She opened the fridge to look in it and that's when Radha tai rushed to her.

Rt-arey didi aap yeh sab chodo.......mei kr deti ho.

Nan-Radha tai........ab muje firse wohi krne do jo krti thi.......akele kitne din bethungi.

Rt-par........

Nan-aap fikr mat karo........muje thoda bhi aisa hoga toh mei aap ko bolungi.

Radha tai agreed and both got busy in their respective works. Nandini was making parathas for Manik. After 45 mins her breakfast was ready. She came upstairs to see if Manik is sleeping or is awake.

Finding him sleeping peacefully, Nandini turned to go back but Manik's message tone beeped and it started beeping back to back. Nandini picked up his phone to see msg from cabir which stated that "fab5 had to jam today for the whole day then only they can reach the album due".

That's when Nandini opened his what's app/ fab5 grp chat. It had cabir's message to inform abt it and down were fab3 agreement on reaching on time. Just then another messaged popped on his phone from Mukti that said.

Mu-Manik.......tu aa rha hai na......plz aaj jam session mat cancel krna or else we might not be able to complete the contract.

And the chat went on which Nandini read.

Aa-yes........since a few days you have missed jamming continuously.

C-this album is going to be our another life changing.......plz aajaya mere bhai.

The msgs stopped for a min and then again msgs came.

Mu-Manik you there?

Aa-at least reply........

C-Manik?

Nandini immediately replied on behalf of Manik.

Nan-don't worry......I'll be there on time.

Mu-thank God you replied.

C-very good......see you at 12.

The conversation ended and Nandini was going to keep his phone back but unintentionally her fingers scrolled their recent chats and a word caught Nandini's eyes. She deliberately read the entire chat and then closed her phone. She sniffed and came beside a sleeping Manik.

She started ruffling his hair softly and caressing his face. She started waking him up.

Nan-Manik........wake up........uth jao.

Waking him up like this softly, finally Manik opened his eyes. They smiled looking at each other and Manik took her name very sweetly.

Ma-Nandini.........

Nandini caressed his face and said.

Nan-wake up........you have a jam session today.

Ma-forget that.

He holded her hand that was on her face and spoke.

Ma-did you sleep well? Why did you wake up? When did you wake up?

Nan-thoda time hova.......now listen......get freshen up and get ready.......you have to reach by 12.

Manik got up and said.

Ma-I am not going today.........it's okay.

Nan-nope it's not.........I replied on your behalf that you are cmg and.......you missed a lot of jam session........they were saying.......this is important........you have to go.

Ma-Nandini tum.

Nan-Manik........humne decide kiya hai na to move on..........so you have to go to start this move on phase.........to live again a happy normal life that we have lived.

Agreeing to her, Manik bobbed his head and said.

Ma-okay........you are right........but tum?

Nan-don't worry........I'll be fine.

Manik again moved his head in yes. Nandini then got up from bed and said.

Nan-chalo get up........nashta taiyar hai.

Manik got up and kissed her forehead.

Nandini smiled and got him his towel. Manik took that and headed towards the shower. In the meanwhile Nandini removed his day outfit and then made the bed.

Manik came out soon, they exchanged smiles and then suddenly awkwardness filled up the air btwn them. Nandini turned around and started doing her work and Manik turned to the opposite side and started wearing his clothes.

While he was buttoning his shirt. A button broke and fell down. There was so much of silence btwn them that the light weighted button too sounded loud enough for Nandini to hear. She turned around and saw a scared Manik looking at her.

Then she saw him bending down and picking up the button. She came to him and forwarded her palm and Manik placed the button on it. Taking the button Nandini walked to the cupboard and bought a needle and thread of the same colour.

She came infront of Manik and started sewing the button quietly. They were extremely close to each other but Manik didn't hug her. Nandini's head was so close to Manik's chin that he was a bit scared. Don't know why.

After sewing the button, Nandini was breaking the thread from her teeth and this bought her more close to him and that's when Manik moved his face away from her so that his chin doesn't hurt her.

Once she was done, she looked at him. Both were staring at each other for a good min. Manik was the first one to move away but was stopped by Nandini.

Nan-Manik!

Manik stopped and looked at her while Nandini said with her wet eyes.

Nan-you were right.........yeh mera ghar hai....... and i have to move on........but........I need some time.........slowly slowly

Manik immediately cupped her face and said.

Ma-Nandini........we are in no hurry for this....... take as much time you want.......it's not a one day thing to forget easily........I am always there for you.

Nandini smiled faintly btwn her wet eyes and Manik took her in a hug.

Nandini too wrapped her hands around his lower back. Manik kissed her top head and they stayed like that for a good time.

After a long hug they moved away and then came downstairs. Nandini served him hot paratha and seeing that Manik said in a happy tone.

Ma-arey wah........paratha........

Nandini smiled and served him another one. Manik was busy in eating that's why he didn't see Nandini hesitation. After gathering courage Nandini spoke.

Nan-Manik.........

That's when Manik looked at her. Nandini said.

Nan-I read your conversation with fab5 abt the wedding preparations.

Manik stopped eating and said in soft tone.

Ma-I was going to talk to you abt this.......I want you to feel okay and then enjoy this wedding

Nandini said abruptly stopping him.

Nan-stop this wedding Manik........don't do it.

Manik was shocked beyond measures and he got up. He came to her and asked.

Ma-Nandini........yeh tum kya bol rhi ho?

Nan-don't get me wrong Manik........I am just being practical.........this time of your's demands you to stay unmarried.........it will effect your career.......

Ma-it's not important Nandini........

Nan-it is.........it is important for you for me...... this is your years of efforts........don't ruin it...... I know days before we were ready for it.......but in a way that was for the baby........aur ab woh nhi hai........

Tears brimmed in her eyes again. Manik immediately wiped that off and Nandini said further.

Nan-I am not saying no to the marriage........I am just saying to postpone it.........this is not the right time for you.

Manik was just looking at her when Nandini said.

Nan-Manik........don't think so much abt this and trust me.

Manik blinked his eyes in yes, he agreed so that she will be happy and move on soon. Then Nandini sat with him for breakfast and they completed eating. Nandini came to see off Manik at the door and handed him the guitar. Manik turned to her just at the door and said kissing her forehead.

Ma-you take care of yourself.......

Nandini bobbed her head and then Manik asked.

Ma-promise na?

Nan-promise.

Ma-good.......take care okay.

Nan-okay.

With this Manik opened the door and left from there. Nandini closed the door once his car was out of the sight and came back in the house. Manik who was driving still in the lane called up D'Souza Aunty and told her abt Nandini being home alone. Aunty assured him of taking care of Nandini.

At afternoon Nandini was sitting ideal and D'Souza Aunty came to meet her. She met Nandini, caressed her hair and said her good words abt cmg back and all. She stayed with Nandini for 2 hours and then left.

It was 8.00 pm when Manik returned back home. He rang the bell and waited for Nandini to open but she didn't, he rang twice and thrice but no response. Suddenly panic hit Manik with the thought of Nandini doing wrong with herself.

Ma-shit Nandini........

He immediately fished out his key and entered the house to find it dark. He ran inside and left his guitar on the floor. He called out for her.

Ma-Nandini........Nandini...........

But he didn't get any reply. He immediately rushed upstairs and found his room lights off too. He on it and was looking around when he heard the noise of water flowing. He immediately looked at the bathroom and found Nandini drenching herself under cold shower water, crying badly.

He immediately rushed to her, taking her name.

That's when Nandini saw him. Her eyes were red and she had been crying since a very long time. Without thinking anything Manik entered the shower and cupped her face.

Ma-Nandini.......what are you doing here...... come on get up now.

But Nandini stopped him and hugged him, she started crying all over again, making Manik worried. In btwn her tears Nandini spoke in her heavy tone.

Nan-Manik........mera baccha........

Manik hugged her and got up.

He took her in his arms securedly and said holding her lovingly.

Ma-shh......bas forget it........

With that he closed the shower and got her out. He immediately picked up a towel and started drying her. Then he changed her clothes. After this Nandini quietly got up and laid down on bed.

Manik got changed in a blink of eye and came beside her. He turned her around and laid down beside her, taking her in his arms.

As soon as she turned around Manik joined their foreheads, she again started crying. Manik said caressing her head.

Ma-Nandini......forget all that.......its gone now.

Nandini too replied along with crying.

Nan-Manik.......I am sorry........meri wajha se you lost the baby........it's all my mistake.

Ma-I told you right that it's gone.......and it's not your mistake.......stop all this.

Saying that he joined his forehead with her's. Nandini tried stopping her sniffs but failed. After a min Manik spoke.

Ma-come let's have food......

Nandini stopped him saying.

Nan-nhi......I don't want to eat.

Ma-aise kaise chalega Nandini.

Nan-please aaj ka din.

She said it so innocently that Manik gave in and said kissing her forehead.

Ma-okay........but this is the last time okay.

Nandini just bobbed her head and hide her face on his chest.

She continued sniffing that at one point Manik had to say.

Ma-bas abhi.......stop crying.......forget this thing now.

Nandini looked at him with tears in her eyes and said.

Nan-I want to........but my womb hurts......and

Manik got worried on getting to know abt the pain, he moved away and said.

Ma-do you wanna go to the dr..........?

Nandini denied and hugged him close and said.

Nan-just stay close.

Manik took her in her arms strongly once again. The night they were awake till midnight and slept when their eyes were tired by staying open.
