Last repeat chp. 60 comments.

Entering the mall, they were looking around thinking from where to start. Just then Manik's phone rang, it was from Chachi. Picking up the call Manik said "thank you" after a min which meant that Chachi was wishing him. So Nandini made him walk by holding his wrist.     

They were walking no where in particular, Manik was busy on the call and Nandini was looking around at the shops. Even chacha wished him and after a mini conversation the call got ended.      

After putting the phone back in his pocket Manik asked Nandini seeing them walking just like that.       

Ma-kaha jaa rhe hai hum?     

Nan-no where as for now.........just look around.    

They started crossing shops after shops, just seeing their display. After that they entered in central to look around. After entering in Nandini realised and said to Manik.      

Nan-I didn't get a gift for you........look around kuch aacha lage toh le lo.......    

Ma-itna toh tum kr rhi ho.......fir bhi gift.      

Nan-gift toh gift hota hai na.........party alag hoti hai treat is treat and gift is gift........ something in solid you know.     

Manik chuckled at this stupid logic and looked around, than something clicked him and he looked at Nandini who was busy looking around. Suddenly he spoke.       

Ma-this gift logic........so that you also get a gift on your birthday......hai na?      

And he raised his eyebrow, Nandini tried to look away making an innocent face and said.     

Nan-Haan toh obviously.......I do expect gifts.......randomly bhi chalta hai...... I mean gifts kis ko psnd nhi hai.......     

Ma-bacchi ho tum ek dum.     

Nandini smiled proudly as she feels that is a proud thing and then they resumed looking around. They got separated while looking around. Something caught Manik's eyes and he started looking at that. Taking that he came to Nandini.       

Ma-how abt this?

And he showed her the thing that caught his attention.   

It was a mug which had this thing engraved in it, seeing that Nandini made an haww face and said.     

Nan-aise chiz loge tum?     

Ma-yes......     

Nan-no ways.     

Ma-yes ways.........it's my birthday gift......and I want this only........which means you have to buy this for me.     

And he faked smiled showing his 32 teeth's, Nandini had to buy that, they were abt to head towards the billing counter when Manik's eyes caught a beautiful earring behind Nandini. He stopped her and said picking that up.      

Ma-this is so beautiful........    

Nandini looked at it and said.     

Nan-yeah it is........    

Ma-tumhe aacha laga.......then why are you not buying it.      

Nan-it's a bit expensive than required.     

Manik looked at the price tag and said.     

Ma-six hundred ka toh hai..........     

Nan-it's expensive when compared to this simple earring........600 is not worth giving to this.      

Ma-arey.......     

Nandini took that from him and placed it back on its place and said walking by holding his wrist.      

Nan-let's go.     

They were in the queue of bill when Manik said.      

Ma-psnd hai toh le lo na.......    

Nan-Manik......nhi......we will go some other place......wahan pe same mil jayega.      

Ma-same nhi milega.     

Nan-milega.......and at a cheaper rate.      

With this argument they paid the bill and left the store. They came upstairs and decided to sit for sometime as they were tired with roaming around the biggest mall of Mumbai.      

They talked generally, abt few things and discussing abt food. Finally they decided to have kfc and Manik went to get their order. Nandini was looking around.     

She saw at one place a lots of people have gathered and they were mostly girls, she frowned at the crowd but then a glimpse of Manik caught her attention, who was standing in the middle of the crowd. This was easy to conclude that people or more precisely his fans recognised him and gathered around him.       

After that her eyes didn't leave that view, she saw everything from him giving autographs to clicking selfie, crazy stuffs happening and finally the crowd being cleared.    

Soon Manik came with their order, placing it on the table he almost threw himself on the chair, huffed tiredly and said with a happy tone.       

Ma-God.......crazy fans.      

Nandini smiled and said with opening their orders.      

Nan-they are not lucky but........like me......     

Manik smiled and said.      

Ma-yeah.......you receive some other kinds of autographs (s****s) and selfies (hickeys).      

With that he smiled broadly while Nandini looked at him snapping her head and said blushing away.      

Nan-stop it......     

Manik laughed a little making Nandini go all red and then they started eating. Manik feeded Nandini who had from his hand happily. After a quick eating session they left the mall as Nandini was a bit excited to take him at their another destination.      

Ma-now where?     

Nan-bandra Linking road.       

Driving there he parked his car at a safe place. Before they could head out Nandini made him wear his hoodie and Manik covered his face. Walking hand in hand at one of the craziest and crowded place for shopping in Mumbai. They got closer all the more emotionally as well as physically.       

When Manik saw anybody by mistakely gonna crash with Nandini, he would pull her, making her feel safe and when they entered the narrow lanes, their body sticked prefectly due to lack of space.       

Seeing a complete new scenario, where besties were crazy in roadside shopping, bargaining to the limit with the shopkeeper, some roadside boys passing nasty comments and glares at the pedistraints, young children's selling stuffs. Manik was amazed he never knew that something like this exist. Such cheap commodities, dirty mentality, happiness in roadside shopping.     

Finally his attention was grabbed when Nandini stopped in an open accessories stall. She was looking around and so was he. After a good min finally Nandini raised her hand to show him the exact earring they saw in the mall.      

Nan-see I told you.......mil jayega.      

Ma-but it doesn't have the same colour.....    

Nan-ohho.......that was white and this is black......in fact this is more preety than white.      

To shopkeeper.      

Nan-yeh kitne ka bhaiyya?    

S-200 rupiye ka.......     

And Manik's jaw touched the ground and next made him feel dizzy when he heard Nandini.     

Nan-itna mehnga......100 rupiye mei dena hai?

S-ji nhi......200.....bas.     

Nandini handed him the earring and said.     

Nan-nhi chahiye.     

With that she holded Manik's hand to walk out but stopped when shopkeeper said.      

S-deid sau (150) rupiye se kum nhi......    

Nandini turned to him and said.     

Nan-ek sau bis (120) final......?    

She waited for his reply and then shopkeeper was thinking. After a moment he said.     

S-thik hai.     

With that he packed the stuff and Nandini paid them, than they started walking towards their car and Manik said being shocked.      

Ma-it was so cheap.     

Nan-tumne roadside food khaya hai?     

Ma-off course.     

Nan-how is that feeling?      

Ma-fantastic......     

Nan-roadside shopping Mei bhi itna hi maaza aata hai.      

With this they sat in the car and then started driving.       

Ma-next?     

Nan-beach......     

With this they reached the beach. Reaching there Manik parked the car and Nandini removed her footwear.       

Ma-yeh Kya kr rhi ho?    

Nan-it's fun to walk barefoot on the sand....... tum bhi nikla do.      

With a doubt he removed his shoes and they got down. Nandini came to him and said.     

Nan-fold you pants.......    

Ma(confused)-huh?      

Nan-arey fold it a bit warna mitti ghus jayegi.     

He folded his pants and they walked, entering the beach. As they kept their foot on the warm sand as it was evening time, Nandini felt a bliss while Manik was still doubtful of being burnt. Nevertheless he entered inside the sand and the warmness gave a satisfying feeling to him.      

They started walking hand in hand, sometimes their foot digged a bit deep in sand but the warmness was just out of the world. Soon Nandini wrapped her hand around his elbow and rested on his biceps, as she was not wearing any footwear she looked tiny in front of him but that looked cute.      

Nan-zayda gharam toh nhi lag rha hai na?     

Ma-nhi......it's good.      

Nan-it feels like.......pair ko sek mil rha hai....... agar dard ho na toh aise warm sand pe chal lena chahiye......it will be good......at least that's why I feel.      

Manik just wrapped his arm around her back, kissed her centre head and kept walking. Soon Nandini saw a corn (🌽)vendor.     

Nan-chalo bhuta khate hai.     

And she dragged him there.     

Nan-tum khaoge?     

Manik bobbed his head in yes so Nandini said to the shopkeeper.     

Nan-bhaiya 2 sweet corn......ek mei namak lagana......    

Nandini to Manik.      

Nan-tumhe kaisa chahiye? Nimbu mirchi wala spicy ya salt wala?      

Ma-spicy.    

Nan-aur dusre mei mirchi lagana.......thoda zayda spicy krna.      

After this they waited for their order to be served. Nandini turned to Manik and asked.       

Nan-muje yeh corn se daat mei problem hoti hai........but it's fun to eat it.      

Ma-you are crazy Sachi.....    

Nan-tumne kabhi khaya hai........on the beach, drenched in rain.......bahut maaza aata hai...... and while you are feeling cold....you can get heat from that coal thing.       

She showed him the sigdi where the vendor was cooking the corn.       

Nan-pata hai jab Chachi be muje first time akele jaane ko kaha.......after I grew......which was after 15......the first thing I did was this...... I was badly drenched with rain water......but that feeling was fantastic........uss din meine jo feel kiya woh kabhi nhi kiya until today.       

Manik eyes shined with her love and Nandini got lost in his beautiful eyes. They were disturbed by the vendor who gave them their order. Nandini holded Manik's corn while he paid. They started walking while biting it, after chewing Manik said.     

Ma-you.......are crazy.      

Nandini blushed as she knew why he said that. She entwined their elbows and started eating it. After a moment Nandini asked.     

Nan-have you done something that you shouldn't.......like my corn and teeth problem.      

Manik thought of something and then said.      

Ma-maybe.......helping nyonika and Fab4......     

All the excitement flew away after hearing her name and she asked.      

Nan-do you want to change the topic......?     

Ma-it's doesn't matter anymore Nandini......I think it's a waste to talk abt.     

Nandini just agreed to him silently, After a moment she asked.      

Nan-you took Fab4 name also.......    

Ma-I did something at times when I didn't wanted to.      

Nandini frowned which was seen by Manik who said further.     

Ma-in simple terms give and take.     

Nan-do they believe in this philosophy?      

Ma-it's give and take with a beautiful cover on it with the name of grabbing the opportunity in someone's helpless situations.........at times I had to return to them the favors they did on me.       

Nandini was left speechless, she had nothing to say rather than walking silently. Manik did change the topic and they enjoyed the time. After walking for a good time they sat on the sand and saw the sunset.      

Soon after sunset they decided to go back home as they were tired. Sitting in the car Nandini was tying her seatbelt when Manik turned to her grabbing her attention, he cupped her jaw and said softly.        

Ma-thanks for making my bday so special.      

With that he kissed her forehead, Nandini smiled and replied when he looked at her.      

Nan-your welcome.      

With this they headed back to home, reaching there Manik picked up his shoes and his gift while Nandini opened the door. Entering in Manik left everything on the rack, picked up Nandini in bridal style and headed upstairs.       They laid down and soon Manik was fast asleep, after confirming that Nandini got up silently to execute her plan.      

It was 9.00 pm when Manik's eyes opened, seeing darkness he woke up with a jerk but calmed down on seeing the candles burning in their room. He roamed his eyes around to see candles decorated nicely.     

(All those candles that Nandini had made were placed beautifully)    

A table which had beautiful lights on it, star lights hanging in their room.     

And flowers decor.      

In short the whole room was decorated beautifully.
