Nandu: bhayyu... she said crying hard... while that person was slowly rubbing her back to calm her down...

Person: yes, yes I am here baby... bhayyu ki jaan why are you crying... please stop crying... you know I can't bear to see you like this... he said rubbing her tears and cupped her face with his hands... nandini finally calmed down... but was silently hiccuping a little... so he gave her a glass of water which was on the table beside her... she took the glass and drank in one go... he took the glass and kept it in its place... he now turned towards her...

Seeing him out of his daze nandini hugged Edward and snuggled into him for warmth... Edward was happy to see that his baby stopped crying...

Nandu: eddy... you know na I said about manik... she slowly said... if Edward wasn't paying so much attention he would have missed it... listening manik's name Edward clutched his fists...

Edward: was he the one who made you cry baby... he said suppressing his urge to just go and dig manik's grave...

Nandu: no, no eddy... It's not manik's fault... it was my fault due to that he thinks that I don't trust him anymore... she said and hugged Edward even tight...

Edward: baby how can he make you cry like this... I don't care but he is going to pay for this... he said not caring nandu's plead...

Nandu: eddy please listen to me then take a decision... she said tired of making everyone listen to her... seeing this Edward stopped talking and nudged nandu to speak...

Nandu: eddy... she said and started to tell what happened on the day in court and the next couple of days... while Edward was silently listening to her...

Nandu: eddy he thinks that I don't love him and I didn't trust him... she said and tears made their way out of her eyes again... Edward just sat and wiped her tears while cupping her face...

Edward: baby do you love him... he asked nandu looking into her eyes where he could clearly see it...

Nandu: yes eddy... I love him... she said truthfully with a small smile remembering their movements...

Edward: do you think that your love is greater than anything... greater than his hatred for you right now... he asked again...

Nandu: yes our love is greater than anything... greater than his hatred for me... she said confidently about their love... looking at him straight...

Edward: then why are you crying you idiot... you know he loves you more than he hates you... you know my baby is quite brave and she doesn't lock herself up and cry like this... he said poking her red nose... while she pouted... and hugged him with a small smile...

Nandu: I am a bad girl na eddy... I made everyone worry about me... but I couldn't handle my emotions this time... I don't think I can live if manik leaves me... I love him soo much... I don't even know why... she said looking at him...

Edward: yes you are a bad girl but you realize things so it's ok... and don't even talk about your death in front of me... since your too mugged up in your problems that you even lost your rationality this time I will excuse you... but there is no next time ok... he said glaring her a little... while nandini was looking at him with wide opened mouth...( muh khula ka khula rehgaya bechaari nandu...😲)  then she quickly nodded making Edward smile...

Edward: now common first fresh up then we can go the meet chacha and chachi... rishab is worried about you... and you have to eat too... I will wait for you down ok... he said and left the room while nandu just stood up and went to fresh up...

She soon came down to see all were eagerly waiting for her... she first went and hugged chachi tightly...

Chachi: meri bacchi ab teek hai na tu... kal se kuch bhi nahi khaya... dek kaise lag rahi hai... she said and side hugged her... while nandini just stayed silent... chacha came and patted her head but didn't say anything seeing her mood... rishab came near her and took her in a hug... while nandu patted his head then they all sat on the dining table... Edward entered the room to see everyone seated... he went and sat beside nandu when chacha asked him...

Chacha: beta where did you go... he asked suddenly... while Edward just smiled sheepishly...

Edward: woh chacha I came here as soon as I received chachi's call so I didn't get time to arrange my schedule... so I called my assistant to postpone the meetings for the next few days... he said making chacha smile at his care for nandu... they all looked at nandu who was playing with her food feeling guilty...

(sorry guys imagine nandini instead of Bella...)

Edward: chacha, chachi this is my first time visiting Mumbai so I would like to roam around and see... so mind if I borrow her... he said signaling them towards the guilty nandu... while chacha and chachi understood that he wanted to distract nandini by taking her out... so they nodded...

Edward: baby i will be waiting out... change and come ok... he said and pecked nandu's head and moved out... while nandu stood up and went to her room to change...

chacha: nandu beta is lucky to have him as her brother... he is such a caring person... but only for nandu of course... he said and smiled a little...

chachi: if we said the same thing in front of him he would say he is really lucky to have her... well of course because he is HIS BABY'S "BHAI"...

At malhotra mansion...

We can see a person all ready to go somewhere... his face showed happiness and hope... he was manik all ready to go somewhere... why is he so happy when he just had a fight with nandu... let's go back and see what happened last night...

Past...

At the pool...
Manik sat with his legs dipping in water while sipping alcohol from the bottle... ( nice rhyming ha na...☺😋) with his face devoid of any expression... tears were flowing out of his red eyes... when a person entered in...

Person: manik... he said while manik still didn't respond to him and looked at the stars... that person came near him and sat beside manik and slowly shook him out of trance... when manik finally saw him... he showed a confused expression...

Manik: cabir tu... yaha... he asked tilting his head... cabir noticed his red eyes and sighed...

Cabir: manik... I saw neyonika leaving... I can guess what happened... he said while manik choose to stay silent... he again sighed and looked at his best friend who was staring at the stars...

Cabir: manik tujhe pata hai ki you cannot live without her... then why endure this pain... he said still looking at his friend...

Manik: cabir tujhe pata hai when I confessed my love to her it was such a beautiful moment but now it looks like a distinct dream... just the yesterday I was with her now I am all alone here... why couldn't she trust me cabir... was I lacking somewhere... she even thought I could kill someone... he said still looking at the stars which are shining brightly but right now his star was not here to shine for him...

Cabir: manik ek baar tu usse chance tho de explain kar ne keliye... you imagine if you were in her place what would you do... every day she was trying to prove you that she trusts you and begged you for a single chance... in the past when you left her she gave you a chance to prove yourself... then why don't you give her a chance... do you think your love is that weak... he asked him... when finally manik understood what he was trying to say...

Manik: yes I love her more than I hated her... I just can't hate her... I couldn't even if I wanted to and our love is never weak... cabir thanks yaar  for knocking sense in me...( Thank God finally manik ke dimaag me sense aa Gaya... pata nahi Kya hota agar cabir na hota... cabir love baba ki jay...) he said and finally gave a small smile...

Manik smiled brightly remembering what happened... he slowly walked near the study and opened the shelf in which there was a small box... he opened it and looked at it with love... it was a promise ring with manan engraved on the back... (imagine manan instead of Emma and Andrew guys)

At first, he wanted to use this to propose her after they graduate but he wanted an assurance that she will always be with him so he was thinking to give it to her today... with that thought, he left towards Murthy house...

Time leap...

A person can be seen sitting in the car with anger evident in his face... looking straight... suddenly the phone rang... he answered without seeing who it was...

Cabir: manik... Kya huva... nandini ko ring Diya Kya... arre what happened manik... speak up damn it... he shouted restlessly...

Manik: phekdiya... he shouted loudly in anger...

Cabir: KYA... he said dumbfounded...

Manik: mein ne phekdiya uss ring ko cabir... he said and cut the call... then drove like crazy and reached to malhotra mansion...

so why was manik angry... what happened that he even threw the ring he brought for nandini...
