Today is the day.

The day where I gotta experience new things out.

Geez! I sound like a melodramatic ass who's going to get whipped during this holiday.

You bet?, my overly excited subconscious mind taunts.

I watched myself in the mirror while tugging the shirt in and wonder where I would be right now if I haven't agreed to this marriage proposal?

Maybe in my office signing another deal with someone or probably stuffing my mouth with food. I chuckled at the last thought as my bedroom burst opened.

"Dev", I sighed.

"Hello brother", he smirks at me as he comes to stand beside me in the floor length mirror.

"Did we just quoted the Vampire Diaries?", I smiled.

"Yeah, we did", he chuckled.

We stared into the mirror looking at us. We're nothing alike, let it be with looks or deeds. He's the fun going one here and I'm the responsible one. Where as I had my hairs cut short with a little beard growing out, he had shoulders length hair with cleaned shave.

The only thing that we had similarities about is the love we share as brothers. Yeah, we aren't ever gonna accept that in front of each other but we do. And we know that.

"I know I'm sexy as hell but it's kinda creepy with you watching me with those hungry eyes", he joked.

"Ha Ha, very funny", I fake glared him.

"I intended to", he smirked.

"Why are you here, idiot?", I sighed.

"Can't I just come to see my beautiful brother?"

"Beautiful? and no, you can't", I cringed.

"Yes baba, you're beautiful", he pinched my cheeks.

"You're impossible", I shook my head in disbelief.

"Are you nervous?", He inquired.

"For what?", I raised my brows as I placed my bags beside the door.

"You know for your Pre-honeymoon holiday?", He yawned while sliding a pillow below his head.

"It's just a holiday and it's not like we're going to do the deeds", I rolled my eyes.

"We never know, you know", he smirks again.

I so wanted to wiped that smirk off of his face.

"Don't talked like a horny ass"

"But I'm one", he said in a 'duh' tone.

"Are you being serious right now?", I laughed at his words.

"Absolutely", he joined in.

"Are you picking her up or something?", He asked again.

"Something, she asked me to picked her up in the way and not from her house", I replied while I checked the room for the last time as we stepped out of the room.

"Good luck, Bhai", he clapped my back as we descended the stairs.

"Why so?", I confusingly asked.

"Well, the melodrama gonna start in any minute now-Oh! look here it starts", he moved away from my side as my Mom latched herself at me.

"Mom? What's wrong?", I pulled away from her as it was difficult for me to breathe.

"Oh Mannu, I'm going to missed you so much", she sobbed into my shirt.

"Mom, I'm just going out for 2 weeks and it's not a big deal",I hugged her back.

"Don't you dare say it's not a big deal, you don't know how much we missed you when you leave for those business trips", Badi-maa entered the living room with a bowl of what I supposed is kheer.

"Not you too now", I groaned.

"Shut up, you buffoon", Mom smacked my chest as she wiped her tears.

Ladies and their water tanks, I tell you.

"Well, if you are here then I think that witch is nearby too, where is she", I sarcastically asked.

"That's your sister you're talking about, you idiot", Badi-maa smacked my head.

"Oww! That hurts and aren't I suppose to have a special treatment before I leave?", I huffed.

"Of course not", my sister spoke from behind me.

"And here I was thinking I'm going with a happy mood", I taunted.

"Too bad", she replied as she jumped on me for a piggyback ride.

"Where's Dad?", I asked everyone even though I know the reason.

"You know the work in the office", Mom nervously smiled.

"I know what kind  of work, he is busy in", I rolled my eyes.

"Sorry not sorry, but I hate to interrupt your Hum Saath Saath Hai vibes but you're gonna be late if you stay another 5 minutes", Dev butted in.

"Yeah, let's go", I said as I raced towards the front door with Mishti on my back, yelling to slow down.

"Okay now get down from my back, will you?", I said trying to pry her off of me.

"Take me with you", she begged as she tighten her legs around my torso.

"Fine", I lied as she loosen her grip on me and let me hold her up.

"Thank you", she giggled.

"You're not welcome", I rolled my eyes as I dumped her on the floor as she muttered curses under her breath.

"Bye ladies", I hugged Mom and Badi-maa and bro hug Dev with a smack across his head for shoving a condom into my pocket.

"Don't have sex before the marriage, I don't want to be a grandmother so soon", my mom fake warned.

"Mom!"

"And even if you do, make sure it's a twins", Badi-maa giggled.

"Not you too!",

"Don't give her a hard time, okay? Make it smoo--- OKAY! I'M LEAVING", I yelled as I get into my car and drove off.

"I can't believe this", I laughed.

Ping!

I checked my phone to see a text from Prena.

Prena: Change of plans, Let's meet directly at the airport.

Me: Okay then.

"Here's goes nothing", I whispered to myself as a drove off directly to the airport.
