Guilty.
That's what I'm feeling right now. And if you're going to asked me why? Then you're the dumbest person in the world, of course after me. After all agreeing with Prena for this vacation thing makes me top the list.

And by lying to her regarding certain stuff about Manik makes me feel like I'm betraying her. And Manik of course. A few weeks ago I just prayed for some distraction from my boring life, I didn't know that Aiyyappa would took my prayers too seriously and in the name of distraction, he would dumped all sorts of bullshit on to my shitty life.

And the preponed of this damn vacation had surfaced a lot of troubles since Prena's internship doesn't start for the next 1 week. And due to which Prena had to stayed back for extra 4 days after we left.

And the most epic one is that I haven't even decided what I would say to everyone about my abrupt leaving. Great!

Ping!

I sighed as I know Manik had replied to my text.

M: What?!

M: Are you sure?

M: Are you upset with something I've done in our date?

I sighed again as I have expected something like this to happen.

N: I didn't mean to startled you with this sudden text, it's just that can we postponed it for another 4 days?

N: P.S- Our date was splendid.

I waited for a few minutes, maybe 10? I kind of thought that he fell asleep or so---Ping!

M: Another 4 days? Why?

M: Thank you.

What should I say to him? That-

'Manik, we can't stepped out of this town for a week because your 'actual' fiance can't ditched you now as she had to stay back until the coast is clear for her?'

N: I had asked Nandini to stay with me till the wedding. So, I can't ditched her here alone.

M: If that's the problem then I could arrange something. Like Dev could give her company, ryt?

Damn! Why him?!! Think! Think about something, Nandu. Or else you're doomed.

N: Actually, Nandu is heading off to one of her friend's house in the weekend and I thought we could leave at the same day?

M: I'll do what I can to make this vacation delayed, okay?

N: Thank you *smiles*

M: Anytime *winks*

I cut our chatting short with a good night and sighed in relief as I know he might do something regarding this matter or at least tried.

I switched off the table light when the bedroom's door creaked opened.

"Hey, are you asleep yet?", Rithvik asked softly in case I was asleep.

"Yes", I replied sarcastically.

"You're awake then", he chuckled.

"What do you want, Rith?", I asked groggily, rubbing my eyes.

"Just wanted to talked to you", he shrugged.

"It's passed 12 and now you got the amazing idea to chitchat with me, really?" I asked in disbelief.

"Umm...yes?", he scratched his neck , thinking if he should leave me to complete sleep or take a sit and ruined my night. I seriously wished for the former one but turns out that God doesn't want me to have my beauty sleep.

"Take a seat", I tapped at the empty side beside me as he climbed on the bed claiming the spot.

"So, what is it that you're so desperate to talked about that you ruined my sleep"

"It's nothing serious actually, it's just that..", he sighed leaving the sentence midway.

"Rithvik", I sternly looked at he finally let go of his emotions out.

" It's about Asha", he smiled at her thought which reluctantly calmed me down.

"What about her?", I asked.

"Asha has been off since a few days like she's bothered about something, I don't know what it is and I know she won't tell me because she had been avoiding me like a disease", he huffed.

"And you are bothered because?", I asked emphasizing the last word.

"I don't know you tell me, what would you feel when you're two best friends are hiding something from you and pushing you off and the only one who stays by your side starts to do the same, what would you feel?", he snapped at me.

"Rithvik, I-I am so-- Don't", he stopped me with a sighed.

"It's not your fault. Maybe I'm a bored guy to hang around?", he laughed sadly.

How many more people are you going to make me hurt them?

"Shut up, will you?", I scowled.

"Truth hurts" he points out.

"So, is my punch", I glared at me as he chuckled.

"Have you ever feel it?", he asked out of nowhere.

"Feel what?", I said, cluelessly.

"Love? Have you ever been in love?", He questioned.

"Not yet ", I replied.

Are you sure about that one?

"But I know the feeling of it", I smiled which he returned.

"Don't we?"

"I don't want him to be like the winter breeze in a hot summer but I would rather want him to be the sunscreen lotion on my summer days", I laughed.

"It sounds a little gross", he crunched his face at this.

"Well, different people have different opinions", I shrugged.

"What about you? What's your thoughts on this?", I asked again.

"I don't know, I haven't fallen in love yet as you already know. You tell me?", he said as he poked stomach.

"Tu aise bol raha hai jaise maine Ph.D kar ke rakha hai love mein (You're saying like I've done Ph.D on love)", I rolled my eyes.

"It seems like you actually did", he chuckled.

"Yeah yeah, whatever", I sticked my tongue out.

"Chalo, good night. I need my beauty sleep as well", he kissed my head and left.

Do I actually looked like I have fell in love?

I closed my eyes as my thoughts goes around with what Rithvik said to me.

"GET UP, YOU SNORLAX!", Prena yelled, barging into my room as I sat up gasping for air.Shocked. I barely slept last night after the 'heart to heart' talked with Rithvik.

"Why are you yelling?", I rubbed my eyes to clear the blurry images of her.

"It's passed 11 and you're still sleeping?", she smacked my arm as I fell in the bed, sideways.

"So?", I yawned.

" 'So?' ", she sarcastically mimicked me, " So, the thing is MANIK IS ON HIS WAY HERE TO PICKED PRENA UP", She fumes.

"WHAT?!!", I get up throwing my blanket off my legs as all my sleep vanished.

"What the fuck, do you mean that he's coming here?", I rushed to the bathroom to clean up.

"He was way too impressed with your yesterday date with him that he wants to take you out for shopping for the vacation and a brunch", she rolled her eyes.

"You're not happy about this?", I asked wiping my face with a towel.

"I already told you Nandu, I'm happy.  It's just that I wished I could be the one with him but with all this ruckus...", she sighed,
"But it's not the time for this, we need to find a solution to this problem who's arriving here. He shouldn't know the truth or else--", Prena stopped as the bedroom door clicked but it doesn't opened for the locked.

"Nandu? Is Prena with you?", Rithvik asked from behind the door.

"Yes, I am", Prena replied.

"Prena, Manik is here", Rithvik informed.

We both looked at each other,

"SHIT"
