Manik and Aditya are best friends from high school, Manik is an orphan, and found Aditya in high school, they instantly clicked became bff,

Aditya parents too welcomed Manik wholeheartedly, they are jolly and simple people with taking things lightly. Manik loved them a lot.

Though Manik is been welcomed he never took anything from them, he used to do part jobs, and fund himself, even when they forced to take things or money he refused strictly. "Only your friendship I need not anything Adi don't be sympathetic I am good with myself" was his phrase. Eventually they all understood it.

Years passed: Manik joined a company as software engineer, in a multinational company, his salary is low but manageable for him, he wanted to open a company of his own, in future.

Aditya joined Army, his passion to serve country is unmatchable, so his parents accepted half heartedly, he is now in training period. He is happy with it. Manik took responsibility of his parents,

Nandini is simple middle class girl, she completed her pg recently, and joined in a college as lecturer, she has one younger brother who is now studying in college.

Nandini lives near by Aditya house, Aditya mother and Nandini mother are friends, they met in colony and became friends, they used meet frequently.

Aditya got posting, he joined and came home to celebrate, this time Manik is on some official tour, he didn't come to meet him.

Aditya parents want their son to get married and return back to duty, he too agreed they suggested Nandini he agreed happily. Both families met officially, Nandini and Aditya too met had few dates too, engagement announced.

Aditya is always naughty and funny person he always troubles Nandini with his silly demands once he made her dance with him in a rushing cafe, she was so embarrassed but when everyone clapped they bowed and smiled, he introduced her to everyone as his fiancé they all congratulated them. He is always such.

It's their engagement, today "Nandini listen I will be garden you will come and kiss me then I will reach stage if not I will be waiting forever choice is yours"
"Adi don't do this you know I am shy person and I can't dare to do such"
"Nandini yaar let us make some memories yaar, please don't be modest chill pill nothing happens even if someone's sees us they will tease that's all come on be my girl Barve and bold" he encouraged
Nandini is in dilemma

Evening party started, all guest came Nandini is ready and tensed too, she asked her brother to check the door, and she slowly jumped from window and came running to garden it's slightly dark, as whole house is been lighting and garden is left so that people don't spoil the garden, she came running to the bench
"You made me do all this badmaash ho app, I will take revenge for this for sure, I need rush back mom might be coming" she took his face and leaned forward and kept her lips on his, suddenly bolt of electricity ran in her, she when tried to move away his hand held her head tight and kissed her passionately, their tongue fought for dominance, when both felt lack of oxygen they left patting greedily inhaling, she blushed and turned away when she took few steps hit by someone she panicked and said sorry "you came Nandini" Aditya said with broad smile

Nandini is shocked, she is pale,
"Aditya?" Someone called
Nandini turned back, their stood confused Manik, shocked Nandini and smiling Aditya
Nandini is horrified
"Manik meet my Nandini, Nandu this Manik my brother close friend and soul mate" he introduced
"You finally came to my engagement"
Manik composed himself "yeah how could I miss it" he forcefully smiled
Nandini couldn't compose herself what just happened was haunting her like ghost. Manik too felt awkward

Engagement happened, Manik stood aside away from everyone watching, he felt ping of pain in his heart but gulped it,

Aditya got call from officials so he had to  rush back marriage preponed, Manik did all arrangements checked everything then left for Mumbai saying it's official trip he can't avoid.

Manik searched for a job in Mumbai, he left Delhi forever, he calls Aditya parents once in a while, speaks to Aditya too, he is now in some mission.

Manik left heavy breath, it's so suffocating since long time, life became hell for him, he lost interest in food work sleep even on life, as if some took his soul away leaving him lifeless. This became tiresome and awful

Manik is unable to compose himself why he too didn't understand, he tried many ways to pull himself back but nothing worked he even asked a girl for one night stand but he didn't even dared to touch her let alone spend night with her.

Yes he fell for Nandini fell hard that he is feeling soul less, he took months to accept this truth. He cursed his own fate that he has to fall for such a girl who is already someone's and that someone is his best friend. Manik felt more suffocated when he accepted the truth. So he decided to leave country and go to Canada and settle down.never to return back

When Manik is going for visa interview, he got call from Aditya father telling him that they lost Aditya in some firing, Manik lost balance and rushed to Delhi, when he reached he found some military people around house.

Manik hugged his uncle and cried like baby, Aditya was lively and soul of the house now his no more news gave them heart break. He did all the rituals though they didn't get body, Aditya parents are lifeless, Nandini in white saree crying made his heart pierce more.

Ten Months passed, Manik is staying with them, he took job in Delhi, he tried his best to serve older people and kept his distance with Nandini. When he feels it's important he speaks to her if not he avoids her totally same with Nandini too.

One day Nandini parents came "bhai saheb! We want to take Nandini home" her father said politely
Aditya mother cried, she lives Nandini a lot and she is trying to console her son death with her presence but now loosing her too made her cry more but she didn't refuse.

"Papa! I can't come leave them alone sorry" Nandini spoke
"I understand Nandu! But you are young you need life this is not the end of life beti"
Before anyone can speak Aditya father spoke "my son before going on war gave me a letter let me bring it" he walked to office room bought the letter,

"Papa!

I am an army man I should and must accept my death, so I want to be kept with smile in hearts not with tears, I know I am only son and if you loose me you will be heart broken but don't forget Manik is my replica, in everything and ever way that is why never think that you lost me, I know him very well he loves you all more than I love you.

Mom! Please don't cry, see me in him and name his son as Aditya and spoil him as much as you can make him nitourious child ever, don't listen to this boring budda Manik.

I know you are responsible you always keep your responsibilities above everything so my bhai I want you to take one more responsibility for me that is Nandini, I want you to marry her if I don't come back from any mission and name your son after me don't you dare forget me and my last wish hope you both happy life

He completed reading it, everyone are pale, most Manik and Nandini, blood drained from their face, Nandini got up to runaway
"Wait beta! I know how hard it is for you, and how ridiculous this is, as your father spoke life is so big to spend alone and it becomes short to spend with someone, about Manik we can never force any of you, yes Manik is always our son that can't give us any right to snatch his life and yours too but just think about it once" Adi mother spoke.

Nandini got tears. Manik is numb to react
"What you people think?" Adi father asked Nandini parents
"Frankly speaking we don't have any objection we want her happiness as always, same way Manik good child I have seen him growing into humble person, if he agrees and Nandini don't object I don't have any objection what about you Radha? He asked his wife
"I am too ok with it murthyji" she replied

"Ok then let them decide, Manik don't take any hectic decision it's whole life think repaying debt can't give you life or happiness and Adi never did any that you need to repay him, he gave you burden of us now Nandini that's all" Raj spoke

Manik is silent. He don't want to answer until he knows Nandini answer, he want to talk to her first then decide.

Few days later while he is going to terrace to get fresh air he heard Nandini mother voice "Nandu! What did you think about Manik?"
"Amma how can I think? Adi left me alone just few months back and you want me to think about Manik? Is it even correct to think?"
"Nandini! Even though you married Aditya you didn't consummate your marriage, emotionally you might be attracted but as wife and husband you both couldn't, and about thinking you should do it one or the other day so why not now?"
"But..,"
"No buts Nandu, tell me shall I talk with your baba?"
"I don't know amma"
"Do you reject Manik?"
Nandini bit her lips
"He is good person, humble hardworking and talented too, we know him very well, too"
"I don't think he can marry a girl like me amma, I am now a widow, I have some baggage of Adi, I may or may not get over from his thoughts why will some one want such girl? Didn't you see he was silent on that day? I don't want to burden myself on him"

Manik hissed in pain, he looked at his hand and found a sharp nail pierced into his palm, same as her words did, he left from there.

Next day he came to study "uncle I want to talk to you"
"Tell me Manik"
"If Nandini don't have objection I am ready for this marriage"
"Did you think properly? This is life time responsibility and it's your life along with her life too, burdens can't give happiness Manik"
"No uncle I am determined and willing to do"
"Why? Because of Adi letter?"
"May be but for me too, Nandini is simple and trustworthy girl which is rare now a days may be I won't get such girl even if I try to find" Raj smiled
"Yes she is indeed but I can't promise I will speak to her on this then we will decide about this prepare yourself rejection too"

After both mothers convincing Nandini finally agreed to marriage. Marriage is very simple as Manik requested, he never liked shoor sharaba wala marriage Where as Aditya love them. He remembered how Adi was so happy and excited for his marriage, Nandini too got tears

Couple were give other room, Manik when entered found Nandini, felt like awkward to do hat to speak or do.
"Nandini first let me make something clear, I genuinely like you as girl, and specially ....he gulped but "after our kiss I couldn't gather myself so left Delhi and everyone even planned to go to Canada too, and I also know that you don't consider me and that kiss was a mistake, let us take time, let us adjust with life whatever happens we can accept slowly"
Nandini bit her lip, uncomfortably "ok" she said simply
"Sleep on bed with me, I won't deny or force this marriage so be comfortable" he explained
Nandini slept on left side and Manik on right side.

Manik thoughts run wild, "Nandini! How content it feels to call her, she is now mine, I am out of world but that doesn't mean loosing Adi is acceptable? No obsoletely no, still she is mine now, after these many years I have someone to say mine, totally mine even though Adi and family are mine too but Nandini is my wife my relation mine to be called" he got happy tears.

Nandini is in different thoughts "back when she married adi she was happy but somewhere in heart a sting feel was always present, she tried to push it away but it grown day by day, she could never dared to analyse it in fear of the one kiss which she herself stolen from Manik, many times she woke up from sleep dreaming it, and cursed herself for that she even stopped sleeping some times in fear of it, but now? Is this destiny? Then why adi has to be involved and die? Is it not that cruel? May be fate is cruel."

Next day when Manik woke up, found himself tangled by Nandini arms, she is hugging him like khola bear, sleeping like baby, he smiled, kissed her softly without disturbing, and hugged her more tight to himself

Nandini woke up, she is someone's arms and her arms are hugging too, she blushed, she never ever slept with anyone, even Adi left on very first day of marriage so she didn't get chance to sleep with him, she felt embarrassed and awkward so she slowly stirred he hugged her more tight, she blushed more. Slowly she untangled herself and got down bed.

Manik smiled, how gentle she was when she took herself from him, he felt giddy with these feelings happily got up.

Both joined office, Manik drops her first and then reaches his office, evening too he will pick her, on the way they will buy things and go home.

Days passed, today is adi death anniversary, Manik took leave and did all rituals, Nandini is totally numb she don't know how to react or how to maintain her composure, Manik too felt same.

That night they slept away from each other, without looked at each other, Manik felt like a dragged whe he saw Nandini in pale saree, teary eyes. He is angry on himself for feeling as such too.

Two days later, Nandini came to Manik "I want to say something"
Manik looked at her "say"
"I don't know how to react and how to say..... adi death anniversary is such, I miss him, I do..... but...... I don't know....." she got tears
Manik looked at her "what actually you want to say Nandini?"
"I want to ask you, why are you angry on me? What is my fault? Why don't you look at me? Why don't you even talk to me? Even you didn't hug me while sleeping what is my fault? I miss him as you do, but I never loved him Manik.... He was good man, he treated me funny and happy so I feel bad on his death an.." she couldn't complete as her lips are sealed by Manik's lips.

It felt same as first time May be more, he didn't let her slip, when he found sudden urge to taste her, he palmed her blossoms and pressed them softly she gasped, he too and then immediately entered her mouth. He didn't let her even think, he occupied her totally,
"I love you Nandini" he pecked her multiple time "I do and I want to make you mine totally, I am unable to control myself please" he begged, she turned her face away with shy and smiled, he didn't stop.

They enjoyed bliss of love making. Manik is very passionate, he took her to heights of pleasure, he made her involve in every act of his, touched her soul. As she touched his only with a kiss.

Next day is new and fresh day for couple, both enjoyed the bliss. They never go for pda but they never stop little gustier to express their feelings for each other.

Manik daily brings flowers for her, she dresses herself as she likes, he teases her with kisses when no one is around, she teases him with showing her skin to tempt him. At night both take revenge on each other for teasing all day.

Life for Manik and Nandini is blissful, parents too are now good everything came to place, Manik Nandini had their vacation recently and returned back with glowing smiles and happy faces.

Manik came home and found empty, he frowned "what happened where are everyone?" He asked Nandini who is watching tv.
"Some old friend called so they went to see them"
"Really?" Manik asked in excitement
Nandini looked at him and then she blushed,
"Come on don't waste my precious time Nandini, he licked the main door and hovered her she giggled at his urgency.

After two days they returned, but they are acting weird, everytime lost in thoughts, jumping on everything and anything, not eating well, not staying at home, frequently going to visit some friends.

Manik asked many times but they just rubbed off, having no choice one day he followed them, when they reached a building, he frowned "it's their other appartment which was bought for Aditya as after marriage gift", he walked to window and shocked to core.

"Dad! What happened why is Nandini not coming to visit me? Why? Now I am feeling something suspicious, tell me what happened?"
"Nothing she is out of town she is coming may be tomorrow she might come"
"Dad don't fool me daily you are saying same call her now let me talk first" he stood up keeping his both hand in air like he is protecting himself with those hands.

Manik got tears, he left. He couldn't see what is happening and couldn't process what will happen.

How and when he reached home he too don't know, he hugged Nandini in soulful hug, tears rolled down fear of loosing the only one who is just his is consuming like fire in forest. Everything is dark and smoky.

Nandini didn't understand what happened she tried to ask but he is not in senses, everything is blur expect Aditya tone and his figure, his longing for Nandini, that's all. Nandini is worried.

Two passed by Manik didn't leave his room nor slept, he like ghost sitting and zooming in empty space. After thinking everything, he came to conclusion

"Nandini get ready I will take you somewhere" he said with forced smile.
Nandini felt relaxed after so long he is now talking and taking her out she got ready with smile which killed Manik more.
"Nandini I love you, can we have a round i last one please" he is greedy now, she blushed
Manik kissed tears flowed, he tried to touch her like always but his skin burned, as if she is fire and he is paper, he stood away "No no let us go" he ran away and sat in car, Nandini is confused and shock he is always uncontrollably attracted to her, how can he resists her? She questioned herself.

Nandini sat in car "Manik now you are scaring me tell me what happened?"
Manik forcefully smiled "nothing" he took her in jet speed and reached

Nandini frowned she knew this building, she once came with Adi parents once, "Manik why here?" She held his hand in scared tone
Manik removed her hand from his, "just come soon" he didn't see her face, he ran bell with shaking hands, throbbing heart, and unknown feelings settling it pit if stomach. He had no courage to look at Nandini
Raj opened door and shocked to core, seeing both Manik and Nandini, same Nandini is too shocked
"Papaji aap yeah?" She asked with confusion
"Manik" Raj said in horror
Manik ignored him and entered,
" who is it dad?"
Nandini frowned more with that tone and address, she rushed in, seeing Aditya infront of her made her loose her balance she stumbled Manik held her, she looked at Manik then at Aditya, her eyes are empty, then turn to hurt, then to disgust, Manik heart sank, he couldn't see that in her eyes, he made her stand, turned away closing his eyes.
"Who? Nandini?" Aditya came to her searching, Nandini frowned
"I knew it, see dad was avoiding me to meet you as I lost my eyes, but I know my wife loves me more than this she can never leave me, see dad she came" he found and touched her then pulled her hugged, Nandini eyes are still on Manik, blood red.
"Yaar I know you are shocked to see dead man alive but I came back hug me back, dad you go in, Manik yaar get lost I will meet you later let me hug my wife and have some kisses from her get out now" Aditya shouted with happiness
Raj couldn't say anything, Nandini eyes are still in hope, Adi mother too looked at them in pain. No one has any answer.

Manik turned kept his face hard just kept his head high "she is all yours always Adi" he said as if these words are coming from determination, Nandini stumbled again this time Adi held her tight "Nandini?" He screamed
Manik could hold more he ran away, Raj tried to stop but Manik was fast.

Where to go, how to go, why to go, Manik don't know he keep on running, and running until his legs gave up, he screamed his heart out, his throat burned, Nandini disgust face, her loosing hope, stumbled body, specially Adi hands on her waist, his words, calling her wife, everything trolled him to death.

Manik sat in bar and drowned in drinks till midnight, he is still hearing those words "let me kiss my wife get out" he screamed again "she is my wife" he screamed on empty road. Fell down and lost conscious

Nandini cried and cried and cried in Adi arms, "bus stop crying Nandu! I came back" Adi said consoling her.
Nandini stopped when she felt light weight, she came away from him and made him sit "tell me what happened?"

Adi told her whole story of his injury, then escape into jungle, how he got bitten by a bug and lost his eyesight, then how he came out of jungle and reached to some village from there how he came back reported to his senior, and how they sent him back, Nandini listened carefully.

"Adi take rest we will talk later" she stood up when he was about kiss her,
"Sleep with me Nandu"
"I will search for auspicious date then she can sleep with you" his mother interrupted, Nandini didn't look at her, left from their sat in other room hugging her knees determined to wait for Manik to come and collect her back, though her brain is bugging contradictory, and heart is scared "still she choose to trust him"

Next day morning Manik woke up and came home, took bath, all that happened last night ran marathon on his brain, he huffed in anger, came out got ready, took some dress of Nandini, he looked at empty room, her giggles, her bangle sounds, her naughty teases, her moans everything came to hit him hard, he regretted everything, he picked the bag and left.

Reaching Aditya, Manik eyes searched for Nandini, his heart is roaring,
"So Manik you finally came?"
"You kicked me out" Manik said searching for Nandini
"Arey I just want few moments but madam ji was just crying crying and crying may be she filled a whole room with her tears"
Manik heart sank, her disgust look haunted him,

All of sudden like jet, Nandini came and slapped Manik hard.
"How dare you to leave me here and go? How dare you? Who are you? What are you? Sacrifice? Wow? Am I some thing to be exchanged? How dare you?" She is like Kali ma roaring at him in furious tone
"Nandini" he tried to speak
"You begged to make love, then you ran away feeling disgust? Am I bug that crawled on your skin? Did I felt fishy to you? Speak" she shouted
He nodded no"no never"
"How could you run away? How did you? We made love zillion times, still I felt disgust?"
"No no please no Nandini stop it"
"How could you sleep last night? How did you? Without me you slept? No last night to you slept without touching me how? Why?" She is hiccuping

Manik held her face "stop it Nandini, for god sake stop it, I was scared to loose you, I asked you for one last time but how can I? Never can I have you last time I want you forever daily as if you are my oxygen, how can I have you for last time? I was scared if I did it may be it would be my last time so I ran away," he explained

"You left me in his arms, I disgust you Manik" she roared and tried to go away from his grip, he held her more tight, "Nandini you are only mine"
"Then why did you leave me and go? We would have spoke to him, tell him everything but you like coward left me why? You felt like I am debt, so you can sacrifice me?"
"Just shut up Nandini enough you will fall sick please for god sake stop crying"
"No you slept without me, you left me here in His arms, you disgust me" she is now hiccuping more her breath hitched still crying
Having no choice he took her lips into his, kissing her like no tomorrow.

Aditya fell down on bed with thud, his father held him tight
"What happened?" He asked him in low voice as he couldn't dare to speak in fear of loosing everything
"As you mentioned in letter they got married" finally Raj told him the secret he was trying to keep it away from him.
"Married???? She loves him dad" he said with tears
"Yes it's not her fault"
"Still she loves him not me, never she loved me" he said with painful voice
Raj hugged him tight.

Manik when felt she is little ok "go get bath and get ready let me talk to Adi"
"No, No no you left me no I won't trust you" she hugged him with death grip
Manik lifted her up, "please Nandini just ten mins I promise I won't go anywhere"
"No" she hugged more
Manik signed in defeat, he can't blame her, he turned to Aditya

"Aditya I married Nandini eleven months back, not just because of your letter but I loved her as a women, so... I know what I did last day was utter nonsense, I was emotional and fool, I can't live without her, and she is mine sorry to hurt your feelings but I hurt Nandini a lot in process of thinking nonsense, I will arrange a new appartment for us soon and shift, please move back to your house uncle, thank you for everything, and I will be always in debt for them with love but I can never sacrifice my love for that I am sorry for being selfish" he kissed Nandini temple "meet you later adi she needs me more" he bid bye and left taking Nandini with him and bag too.

Nandini didn't forgive him, she cried for days, didn't speak with him for months, Manik endured everything, he was at fault. He craved for love, he did everything he can do to get her forgiveness, but she is stubborn,

She gave him everything, did all his works, even made love with him daily but her anger and taunts never left, Manik understood how deeply she is hurt, he too hurt with himself, he sometimes cries under shower, still thinking about that day, and how he misses her giggles. Nandini knows it, she too cries but how can she forgive him? Never,

Aditya is in agony but he understood that Nandini can never be his, how she cried how she hit Manik, how she roared and demanded everything made it clear that she can never be his. Aditya accepted the truth.

Manik bought an appartment far from them, changed office, shifted with Nandini taking blessing from Aditya family,

Manik and Aditya had man to man conversation, "I know that Nandu kissed you on our engagement day" Aditya kicked him hard, Manik hissed in pain
"Still you married her bastard" this time Manik hit him
"Fuck you have strength, yes, she is beautiful" Aditya said in pain
"Yes I daily workout for hours in bedroom unlike you just killing time to sleep" he wanted to flaunt his sex life
"Bastard don't flaunt your bedroom skills I will kill you, don't put images for fuck sake"
"Why? Jealous?" Manik retorted
"Yes she was mine whom you stole"
"No she is always mine you tricked her, now stop if Nandini sees buries she will again cry for god sake I can't see her crying she is already angry and all this is because of you bastard"
"Me??? You left her"
"Yeah"
"Seriously you thought of sacrificing her? Wow is this a movie where hero walks away in final scene, great, what I am a fool and sympathetic bastard?"
"Laugh now.... I was stupid I agree but Nandini no never I could have let you have, she is mine" he stood up
"Come on we have to leave"
"Leaving me forever?"
"May be we need time to accept things specially Nandini, so for time being, when I have time I will sure come here to meet you all"
"Good you are not stupid, go away bhala tall gaya" he mocked

Manik coming home bought some flowers for Nandini, he is determined to make her anger resolve today.

When Manik entered he found Nandini sitting on floor hugging her knees tapping her legs in tension
"What happened Nandini?" He asked in fear
Nandini looked at Manik then smiled beautifully, jumped on him, he didn't miss, held her tight.
"Manik we are pregnant" she said with sob
Manik froze then made little distance and looked at her face "what?"
"We are pregnant Manik"
Manik eyes mounted instantly, "I will have my own family Nandini"
"Yes we will have our family"
He cried a lot like baby this time, an orphan having family is like blessing come true, "the most beautiful thing I am experiencing for second time Nandini, first is to marry you now it's our child" he made love to her on the floor, with out stressing her to make her understand how happy he is.

They had twins, both boys, Manik now want a girl baby. He is desperate to make his wife pregnant again.

Aditya got eyesight back after an operation, he joined army again, he married a military general, this time he is genuinely in love with her, Manik and Nandini are happy for him, all started mingling happily, Manik and Nandini children became whole family source of happiness,

Finally Manik made his wife pregnant for second time and this time they had triplets, two boys and a girl, Manik had now big family, as he always dreamt of.
