Raja Harshawardhan Singh Rajput is kind hearted and loving king, he had three wives, third wife is very cunning and manipulative. He had five daughters and seven sons.among them Manik is fifth born child and second son.

Manik mother is Amrutha, as her name she is divine and elegant lady, she gave birth to only one son and a daughter Madhumathi, she gave them all required training from childhood, she made learn about all their ancestors and their bravery stories, she made him learn how to be kind and ruthless too. How to keep in line, she made him fighter rather than Rajkumar.

When he was at age of nine, he is been sent to Gurukul to learn. While going he came to his mother "Masa! While returning from Gurukul I will bring seven kingdom treasure and people to you" he said proudly
Amrutha looked at him sharply, "Manik you are a Rajput, each word you say is promise which you can't break nor go back so use words wisely she scolded her son,
"Ranisa he is just kid" king tried to reason
"Kshama Masa but I mean it." He said with determination
Amrutha is worried.
Manik went to Gurukul along with all his brothers.

Manik after completing his education while returning home, he kept his promise conquered seven kingdoms near his kingdom, when he returned back to mahal, his mother came with arthi before she can come forward his choti Masa Jamuna came forward to do arthi he want to protest but his mother denied with her eyes so he agreed.
When arthi completed, king came forward "why are you late Rajkumar Manik?"
"As I promised my mother I bought her gift king so I am late"
"What gift?" King frowned
"Seven kingdoms people and wealth king" he replied
Everyone gasped, "why did you do that?" King is furious.
"The king of these kingdom are useless, they made praja are suffering with taxes and slavery so conquered them and made our Samanth" he explained king groaned in annoyance but Manik didn't care, his eyes are on his mother, she has contagious smile which made him happy and proud.
He came forward kept head on her feet "Masa I am back to protect and expand our kingdom help king to rule strengthen our army and most importantly be with you"
"Get up Manik, now you became young boy, strong solider and most important Rajput, never forget morals, never ever make anyone suffer. Even if one person suffered because of you think yourself as a failure son. May lord krishna give you strength and patience." She made him to eat sweet
"Masa can you do my arthi" he asked like kid, she smiled broadly and did his arthi happily. Jamuna felt insulted but stood still with smile.

Manik then on started to attend sabha with his father, he actively participated in sabha activities. He within no time became one of them.

One fine morning when he was arranging puja room for his mother, she asked him "Manik now as you completed your education, I am thinking of marrying you, do you have anyone in mind?"
"Nah Masa! I didn't mingle with any girl"
"Are you ready for marriage then?"
"As you wish Masa"
Amrutha smiled "I have a friend who is now Samanth wife, we are both from my pihar, she has a beautiful daughter, she is well mannered, talent smart loving and caring girl, she is mature enough for her age, if you say yes I will proceed what do you say?"
"Masa if you like anyone then she is more than what you say, so I am good with this, mostly she will be spending time with you most so your choice is always best" he smiled
Amrutha called his son to hug him and patted his back, "you are becoming wise Manik I am happy for you, so from now on I have to share you with your wife"
Manik smiled "May be you will be more busy as one more will be added to make you worry about now that didisa left she can fill the space"
Both laughed
"I am planning to visit didisa what do you say?"
"Best idea, I will make preparations, take some gifts to jamaisa Manik"
"I bought his favourite sword, some unique perfumes and some silk clothes"
"Good" she smiled and started preparations.

Manik marriage preparations happened in hustle bustle way, marriage is done at Samanth place, manik met his bride at rituals, as his mother said she is beautiful and elegant, he liked her instantly. Her name is Nandini.

At marriage Jamuna tried somany ways to stop this marriage as she want her niece to be Manik wife but everything failed and marriage happened. At marriage Manik vowed Nandini happiness too.

After marriage Nandini is been bought to mahal, her welcome is grand,everything is perfect, until early morning, a news came that one of his sisters kingdom needed help, without think twice Manik got ready to go on war, when he came to visit his father and mother, he found them on ekkanth, so he with frown tried to go, his new bride Nandini came with arthi and did his arthi
"Hukum come home with bhaisa happiness and prosperity" she bent and took his blessing
"I will and also will bring some gifts to you along with Masa take care of Masa" he smiled and left.

Manik when came home back, after twenty days he found Nandini room empty, he frowned he asked dasi "Rajkumar! Bahuranisa is been sent to pihar by king"
Manik frown deepened, he came to his mother room
"Pranam Masa"
"Manik you came? Why did you go? How did you go? Do even have any idea what what had happened? I couldn't save my bahuranisa from attack of mahal how could you be away from her?" She is panic for first time

"Sit Masa! Now tell me what happened?" He asked his mother calmly.
"Early morning when we asked about you, bahuranisa explained that you have gone to help your sister kingdom. Jamuna Ranisa made a big scene about it, that she took over charge of her and mine duty just on second in mahal which is nothing but a greedy about power, Nandini was silent, I tried my best to defend her but Hukum didn't listen and sent her away saying she is one greedy women who is not allowed to stay here. Bahuranisa asked permission to stay till you come back as she promised you about my safety but he didn't listen with a letter and a single palanquin just two guards and a Sakhi with her" his mother had tears rolling down.

"Stop this tears Masa let me talk to king don't worry" he assured and came to king.

"Hukum! I was in hurry that day, she did arthi when she had no choice, if you still feel that she is power greedy why don't you announce Yuvaraj pattabhisheik so that she too will know that she is just soldiers wife"
"Rajkumar manik it is not just that it's your mother insult why can't you see that?"
"How chotimasa? I came to Masa kaksh, they were in ekkanth so how is it insult in first place if she is not in mahal too I will go on war without disturbing king sleep"
"Enough Rajkumar manik she will not return that's final" king roared in anger and left without giving any place to discussion.
Manik fist tightened. He can't see his mother tears not he want to go back on his vows which he took on their marriage. He is torn now.

"Masa what should I do? King is not in mood to listen"
"She is your wife Manik she has every right be with you, it's your decision now" his mother said in rage, she is now determined that her children will not sacrifice.

Manik came to Nandini mahal. He is been welcomed warmly, her father invited him with broad smile, her brothers gave him company. Nandini too came looking good
"Pranam Hukum" she greeting while touching his feet. He lifted her "Pranam Ranisa"
She offered him milk, he drank.

Everyone entertained him, finally he is been sent to room, Nandini came forward and gave him required things to get freshen up.
"Ranisa sit" he sat and made her sit besides him, she sat down
"Why did you come back?"
"I can refuse my father in law if I can but I can't disobey a king Hukum"
Manik took deep breath "why did you not defend yourself?"
"I don't have any proofs and I can't argue with elders"
"Prepare for our return, we will start early in the morning"
"Kshama Hukum! But..... did king agree to my return?"
"No"
"Then? Are you rebellious?" Hukum is this what you want?"
"No but you are my responsibility" he is now furious
"I was the one who crossed my limits, I promised you to keep Masa safe till you come so this is my punishment Hukum, till king give permission I can't come" she cleared everything
"Why are you so stubborn? Why didn't you show this stubbornness back then?" He held her elbow and came dangerously near her,
"I have all rights on only you" she said looking straight into his eyes
Manik heart swelled with pride.
"Is this my punishment for not keeping you safe in mahal?"
She stood silent she didn't dare to obey and she can't deny.
Manik left huffed in anger. "What if father obeys?"
"I will daily pray for us"
Manik smiled "these are some gifts I bought from war" he forwarded her some rare diamonds necklace" she with bright smile took it,
Manik took it away and made her wear it with his hands
"Shall I bring food Hukum?"
"Yes, can is spend time with you?"
"Yes Hukum till you are tired we can spend time not ekkanth"
Manik chuckled "I know and I will wait"

Whole night both played games, talked laughed, when sun arrived, both face fell. Morning is not their favourite anymore. Both got freshen up
"Are you sure you can't come?" He asked in hope
"I will waiting for you Hukum, I will wear light colour clothes, eat one time meal, pray to god always, will make blankets for your travel and send you, I will never leave mahal until it is urgent. I will not write any letter to Hukum I will maintain my dignity"
"I promise that I will never ever entertain myself, I will be waiting for you, every meal I take, I will leave your portion, I will collect things for you, only your blankets I will use to warm my body, I will stop eating my favourite kadi till you serve me, Ranisa I want a promise"
Nandini looked at him "order me Hukum"
"You will learn all war skills"
Nandini gaped but agreed as in Rajputs ladies only learn defence not war skills.
Manik with satisfaction left, looking Nandini for few minutes so that he can keep her in his soul. She with tears smiled him
"Kash I could hold you in my arms Ranisa, but I will wait" he said and climbed his horse left.

Then on Manik became ruthless and heartless, he is always on war, everyone in kingdom fears him, mahal changed a lot, chotiranisa became more cunning but this time Amrutha is not silent as always she defended herself well, this made distance between king and her but she cared less.

Manik when comes home, he brings gifts for his mother always, "Manik why do you bring all this? I have plenty now, keep them for bahuranisa"
"I always brings for her too Masa as I promised"
"It's three years Manik she might be grown up now, changed physically may be we can't even recognise her"
Manik chuckled "May be" he still reminds her twinkling teary eyes with smile, his heart burns but he is calm whenever he misses her, he will go on war. To keep himself busy, Amrutha knows that but she is helpless.

Manik came to sabha as usual, some topics about corruption is going on, a Minster is been accused and he is really corrupt person, Manik was waiting for right time
King is listening to the argument, Manik stood up
"What is there to argue? Look at him, he wears diamonds and gold on his body more than anyone else his house is lavish as mahal what more needed and only punishment for this is death" he calmly cut the throat of that minister

Everyone gasped, king roared in anger "Rajkumar manik this is not the way to react nor do justice"
"I have learnt from you king that no need to listen just punish them" Manik answered with respect
King groaned in anger as he knew what exactly he mean. It's been sensitive matter between them in mahal, everyone are acting upon this. Specially his Ranisa Amrutha who is always his favourite one now became distant with him which ignited anger in him more.

Later when everyone are at dinner, Manik rejected his favourite khadi, "what happened Rajkumar why are you avoiding your favourite food?" King asked
"Until my wife serves I will not eat that food" he answered plainly.
King groaned "so when you took this matter I have a news, Raja Maldev asked his daughter hand for you"
"Reject him I will go on war"
"Manik war is not solution for every thing. Go marry her" king said in anger
"Then disown me now king I will go wild" he stood up.
Amrutha hissed, "I will join you and become saint as I have no work in mahal anymore if my children are away" she looked at king with sharp gaze
"Ranisa don't you want bahuranisa?" He asked in pain
"I have one Rajasa" she replied in anger
Harshawardhan felt ping of pain in heart when she called him Rajaji, whenever she calls him Hukum he feels it like his win, now he felt as defeated
"Shut up and sit down now both of you, now a days you both are rebellious, tell your son to tame his wildness, he killed mantri in sabha is this the way a Rajkumar behaves?"
"Wild horse is tamed by worthy man, wild men are tamed by his wife what can I do?, a mother can only advice a young man" she smirked
Manik smiled.
"Didisa are you hanging up with him against Hukum?" Jamuna sneered
"Chotiranisa! Mind your tongue, she is elder than you and she is my Ranisa can't she talk to me freely? And can't she defend her son stop putting ideas in my tongue" king roared as he knows Amrutha more than anyone.
Manik felt proud atleast his mother still holds his fathers heart,
"So, you are saying that you will not persuade him for other marriage? He is Rajkumar he has to marry many"
"With first wife concern, her permission only" Manik completed
"Then seek it send her letter"
Manik laughed "unless I give her rights how can I ask her permission for that I should show her valid reason to marry just political marriage is not needed as I am Manik Singh Rajput people fear me" he laughed in proudness
King laughed, "so what you want to do?"
"What can you offer?" Manik questioned him "can you offer what I want?"
"Are you blackmailing king Rajkumar manik?" Jamuna again interfered
Manik laughed again "do I need such? Chotimasa he is my father, hope you don't forget always, I can do and ask anything about blackmail? What if I go on hunger strike doesn't that count as blackmail, what do you say father? May be I should go on fighting with wild animals or some bulls may be"
"Manik stop it and chotiranisa don't you dare interrupt again, Ranisa did you listen to him? He is wild now tame him what matters I don't care" he hinted in agreement
Amrutha understood it but she is not the one to forgive easily "Rajaji I don't know other way"
"Opt for the one which you want"
"Which option Rajaji?" She insisted
Manik is grinning he understood but his mother tactic is one he got inherited
"Stop calling me that I am your husband for god sake" king hissed
"How should I call? You said I am mere mother to my children"
King gritted his teeth " Ranisa I need to punish you properly, arrange my desert today" he said with stern face and glowing eyes Amrutha blushed which made chotiranisa fume in anger after trying and plotting so much she separated them now with just small talk they again united.
"Who are you Manik?"
"I am Rajput babasa"
"What does Rajput do?"
"Keep his promises and protect people"
"When you married what promise did you give me?"
"To protect her and keep her happy"
"Fool you promised me to make me grand father all your brothers fulfilled except you, moron still you have audacity to argue with me, shame on you, you are banned from sabha and wars till you bring my bahuranisa back and make me happy, you will go as common man seek her forgiveness then bring her back, till then Ranisa arrange everything for her welcome, get last from my sight till then" king dismissed him in anger.

Manik grinned like fool, his heart raced and blush formed instantly
"One more thing no one will send any information about Rajkumar arrival, you earn your respect, let me see how you will do, killing people and going on war is easy but begging wife in bedroom is tough let me enjoy seeing you tamed" king laughed
"May be I am ready to be tamed as you father" he said and ran away before glass hit him hard which through on him
"Ranisa did you see how he is talking I am going to see that he suffer more I will send bahuranisa not to forgive him"
Amrutha laughed "so you too got tamed by our didisa?"
King laughed "let me see did you too tamed me to night" she blushed like teenager. King laughed

Manik came to his mother and bid bye, she gave him her favourite bangles "give this to my bahuranisa it's my blessing"
"Sure Masa"
"Return soon I will be waiting"
"Ok" he took blessings and came out of mahal.

Six month back when he was in middle of war he got news that Nandini had entered puberty, his heart raced marathons, no doubt he is waiting her to be in his arms,until she enter maturity she is not allowed to be with him, but once that happened, she will be officially his.

On that day he almost lost control and came to her city, but didn't dare to go to her, he stood watching the mahal whole nite and left. He always kept tabs on Nandini, her health, her wishes her concern her routine everything he knew. After all her safety is most important.

Here Nandini is different now, she became more calm and mature. Daily she wakes up early, sits in puja for two hours, then she goes to kitchen helps in cooking, then he teaches her brother children how to write and read, she tells them stories of kings and even Manik, whole afternoon she knits blanket, evening she goes for war practice then she takes bath does evening puja and eats her dinner and while reading books she sleeps.

She knows about Manik and all, she is so much worried about Manik's habit of going on war and how people talk about his ruthlessness. Every time he goes on war she sits in puja room praying for his success and also asking god to make him less ruthless. When she heard that Manik killed a minister in sabha her bleed, she want him to be loved by praja and keep him in their heart.

Today Nandini is exceptionally in good mood. She too don't know but she felt light and happy. She decided to go to temple near by her mahal with children.

Nandini got ready in light blue colour saree with minimum jewellery, as she promised to Manik she never groomed herself. She took three girls and four boys, who are below five years, even her bhabhi too came along with her.

They reached temple, pujari came forward and greeted them "Pranam Rajkumari! How are you?"
"Pranam Panditji! I am good"
"Is there any occasion Rajkumari"
"I don't have any Panditji but today I feel like something good is going to happen and I am worried about Hukum too, he is becoming wild day by day for his peace and health do prayers"
"I will Rajkumari May be you May get to see him"
Nandini got tears "from years I am praying it's gods grace"
Pandit did puja, she sat down did all the work at puja and made children too do things.

After puja she distributed Prasad and some fruits to people. When she is about wrap up, someone attacked her from behind she sharply took her khanjar and defended herself.

Everyone shouted in horror. Nandini didn't panic, she kept children away and started to fight with that person soon some more came, within no time she took sword from one of them and started to fight, she is protecting herself from ten members,

When she is almost completed, a person who covered his face came and started to fight with her, he is aggressive and strong, she looked at him and huffed, took one more sword and started to fight like bull, she made all her strength to attack him, he is impressed. With amusement he started for play tricks she understood and gave him scar. He didn't hissed but felt proud.

When she is almost to win, he took her in arms to stop her, she with harsh cut came out of arms, "do you have death wish that you dare to touch me?" She attacked aggressively, he smirked and held her sword held hand in his hold, with other hand he held her head back side dragged near him, she is struggling to get away from his hold but she couldn't.
"So beautiful" he said same time his cloth lost his hold releasing his face, she looked at him for fraction of moment then she bit his jawline as it is near her mouth harshly. He didn't expect got distracted she slipped from his hold and attacked to kill him but he is sharp defended and smiled
"Smart move, wish to have one more fight but you look tired" he removed his turban feeling relaxed
"Who the hell are you? How dare you attack me and touch me? I am Rana Harshwardhan bahu, Rajput wife, most feared Rajkumar is my husband" she said proudly

"Who got scars from a lady attack" he mocked
She frowned,
"Rana Harshawardhan has seven sons whose wife are you?"
"The most fearful Rajkumar's" she replied
"Name Rajkumari" he insisted
She looked at him sharply, he is relaxed cleaning his wounds watching her keenly, she felt stupid of herself for arguing, she removed her jewellery and tossed at him "keep it May be for this you attacked me, feed your family if possible work hard than killing ladies, if you want I can recommend you to my brother he will make you join in sana" she suggested and started walking
"You forgot tell his name"
She turned looked at him seriously "wife don't take her husband name you fool, and my Hukum is one who comes in dreams of enemies"
"Not in your dreams?" He asked with naughty smiles
Nandini skipped her heart beat, she observed him keenly, she felt familiar her heart is beating fast, she is suspicious, her eyes widened, the dupatta which she wore, dragged down, covered her face totally, she did bow "Pranam Hukum" she said with guilt and anxiety

Manik smiled "so finally you recognised me"
"I am ignorant and fool I raised my sword on you Kshama Hukum"
Manik laughed "so you obeyed my wish, good I am impressed,"
She called dasi and asked her to bring some herbs
"Your wounds need dressing"
"Then do it" he sat down
"How is king? Masa and everyone? Is bhaisa and her family"
"Everyone are good, me too"
She blushed
Manik looked at her, she is so thin, taller than last time but short, in pale saree, he inhaled hard "take it" he gave her jewellery, she took them
"Wear it Ranisa I don't like your empty neck" he hissed in anger.
She did it.
Dasi bought herbs, she took them and started to grind, Manik took them and make paste, he sat she came to him, cleaned it again and applied paste on them while blowing air, "Kshama Hukum" she said with tears
"Shhhh I am proud of you, you kept your dignity and my pride, now stop that tears"
She wiped them. She ordered dasi to bring some fruits, when she is cutting them, he asked "how are you Ranisa?"
"Good Hukum"
"You look thin, Masa is worried about you, she is eager to see you"
Her heart beat stopped she looked at him instantly
"Yes king gave me order to win your heart and bring you home"his eyes sparkled
She smiled with tears excitement is evident in her face "really?"
"Yes" he beem with happiness
"Can I invite you to mahal?" She asked with hope
Manik looked at her, "I need to talk to your father, seek his permission then come home"
She nodded
"You can come to meet me" he said with smirk
Nandini looked at him with amusement, she don't know that this ruthless Rajkumar has this naughty side too, she is now scared may be in future she has to deal lot more
"Hukum I am Rajkumari I can't cross my boundaries
But you are Rajkumar who can stop you"
Manik laughed "I do wars Ranisa I don't climb walls"
"Pity" she exclaimed "I need to go Masa might be worried sick, I will send lunch"
"Let me wait for food from your kitchen Ranisa, as I am craving for let me crave for your food to"
When she was about to go, her brother and some soldiers came "bhaisa are you ok? Why didn't you brings soldiers? Why don't you listen to us? Babasa is hell worried mother is crying where are those rascals?" He is going ranting
"Ratan Singh look I am fine, I am coming home, don't worry first greet Hukum" she said
Ratan Singh looked at him "jijusa Pranam! We didn't know about your arrivals padharho jijusa"
"Pranam Ratan Singh, I will come and meet babasa tomorrow, I am good here take your bhaisa she is strong and safe, I was the one who wanted to test her skill, convey my regards to mother and ask for forgiveness too for making her worried. Tell king that I wanted to test my Ranisa that's all"
Ratan Singh obeyed both brother and sister did Pranam and left.

Manik roamed in town, met people, participated in some games, when he was about to sleep under tree he heard a commotion, with frown he got up and found, all people stood in line inbetween them some soldiers of his mahal came and collecting coins, Manik frown "what is this for?"
"Are you new?"
"Yes"
"They are from kingdom, since our bhaisa is been send back, these people collect tax in name of shame, our bhaisa is gold why did she marry a ruthless and heartless Rajkumar? She sends us her jewellery every time to pay tax, she ask for forgiveness everytime this happens, last night too she sent us money. If I see that Rajkumar I kill him with bare hands.... But we can't our bhaisa sake, he is just lucky, you know we even heard she is out jewellery now, what will happen god knows" the old man spoke in anger

Manik felt shame, he took his sword out and killed a solider. All gasped in horror other soldiers attacked him, Manik within no time took their sword away
"Who sent you?" He roared
"King Harshawardhan"
Manik cut his throat mercilessly and turn to other one "who sent you?" Sword was on his neck
"Rani Jamuna bai" he said in horror
Manik hissed in anger, he tied his hands and legs

"No one will pay, and all your money will be returned in two days, king never said or did such things but it's our failure that we gave blind eye to this Samanth Rajya, I deeply pay condolences for that, your bhaisa is my pride and always be, she was wronged at that time, and I couldn't protect her I am your criminal and I deserve punishment, and I accept it. About this matter I will surely solve it." Manik said

Everyone present their are stunned, mean time Nandini father came with soldiers "Pranam babasa"
"Pranam Rajkumar, thank you for your help, I welcome you"
Manik felt bad, he called him Rajkumar not jamaisa"
Manik followed.

When Manik entered, he is been welcomed as Rajkumar not as jamai. Manik felt pain, tears back what respect and love he got now is not seen. Nandini father  Sujamal made him sit and offered drinks, he discussed politics and enquired about some issues.
"Rajkumar please have lunch" he offered
"Babasa I understand your berukhi and your worry, I know the agony you feel for my Ranisa, I deep respect it too, I took years to come back, and convince my father, I am sorry. I came back only to take back my Ranisa back with me this time with pride and dignity. Allow me"
"Rajkumar you don't know anything, did you ever feel while taking a moral the pain of taking it? I did, my daughter is starving and I am having food you know the pain? Everyone in mahal celebrate festivals with new clothes and jewellery, where as my daughter stood away with light colour cotton saree less jewellery, I gone through the pain, do you ever listened the taunts people say when they talk about your jamaisa? I listened, what is my fault? Why? Did I do any mistake in raising my daughter Rajkumar?"

"No babasa never, I understand everything, that is why I never ate which my Ranisa didn't eat, I never celebrated any festival till now, I collected all the jewellery which she has to wear, I never entertained nor involved any women in my life, I stopped eating my favourites till my Ranisa serves me, I gone through the pain which my Ranisa is going throw babasa, if she is your bhaisa  your pride she my Ranisa my pride too, what happened i can't change but I too suffered as my Ranisa did, so for us can you allow me to take her back?"

"What if again same repeats? No I can't take risk and send her"
Manik rubbed his face "what if it repeats? ........ I don't think that will occur again, now people know who I am, a ruthless Rajkumar being my Ranisa she has privilege and .... I don't think my Ranisa is still naive, she learnt how to protect herself,"

Sujamal took deep breath "I need time Rajkumar, come and have food and take rest"
Manik felt relax and agreed.

Whole plate is full of his favourites, Manik eyes flustered but he didn't sit, "I am restricted to eat only plain food, so serve me plain food" he said
Dasi came forward "jamaisa our bhaisa cooked them for you"
Manik took out coins and gave her "this I want to listen from years, but unless she serves me I can't have them please bring me plain meals"
Dasi with sad face removed it, suddenly a hand stopped her, she stood up, "let me serve" Nandini spoke softly.

Manik face lit up, "Ranisa aap?"
"Sit Hukum! Let me serve you" she said sniffing, she waited for this from years.

He sat down "will you have lunch Ranisa?"
"I will have fruits"
Manik kept silent and started, all her brothers and father too started, she them all, when lunch completed, he is been given guest room, to entertain a singer and dancer as been allotted Manik sent them away. He wrote a letter to his father about everything and even informed him about his intentions, sent it with some guptachar

He then slept, evening he woke up had some fruits, came to hall "what did you think babasa?"
He called his wife, "Pranam Masa" Manik greeted
"Pranam jamaisa, how are you? You look thin"

Manik stood silent for a moment "I know, Masa please understand me, forgive me thinking I am stupid child of yours"
"You made her suffer jamaisa"

"Last month, Raja Todarmal asked for her hand" her father said with shame
"I killed him" Manik said with fist tightened. He was at home, one of his guptachar informed that, Manik dimmed in anger, without think twice he reacted his kingdom and invited todarmal for fight, when he lost fight, Manik roared "she is my Ranisa my pride and you tried eye on her? This is what happens if anyone eyes on what is mine" he cut his head away from his body this catches like fire among world, that time when he returned home he had fight with his father very badly.

"She don't know that, if she knows what happens lord knows" her mother said with tears
"Allow me babasa please, this time I won't let you have any complaints"
Sujamal exclaimed "for our bhaisa we will, but we will be worried sick too"
"Gratitude babasa I will keep her safe and happy, promise"
"Your Rajput jamaisa don't forget that"
"Never" he said happily.
"Ok I will call pandit and arrange for goona" he stood up took blessings from them.
"Masa can I meet my Ranisa?"
"Morning I will arrange for your swagat jamaisa till then you take rest"
Manik stood silent.

Nandini is in puja room, she prepared special Prasad to thank god. She is happy same time she is sad too. When puberty hit, generally, in laws will take the girl home and arrange a great welcome party, mudhikayi and Milan, but to her, her Masa came celebrated it doom dham! Gave her lots of gift king to sent her some villages and a elephant as gift, but they didn't take them with her.

Nandini felt deep sorrow, depressed, she expected Manik to come but he did,though she knew still she expected, disappointment hit her like brick this time and the tax collection from people on name of her made her head down in shame, she is now regretful she could have defended herself on that day was her greatest regret.

She completed puja, came to her room, took out a book and started doing calculations, food smell hit her strongly.
" take it away and bring some milk" she ordered without seeing
"Bhaisa not today, jamaisa came for you, he is taking to king, he will take you away with her, we will go with him moreover he is in mahal you should get up and look presentable for him"
"Lata stop it nothing as such will happen, May be he is on some work, babasa will never allow Hukum to see me this late hours so relax, about food I am not hungry"
"Why bhaisa you don't eat well? Why?"
"You punish myself, because of me Hukum is suffering my Masa is suffering my parents suffering father might be too, why didn't I defend myself Lata? Why? Somany are suffering even our praja too how shameful I am? May be I don't deserve Hukum, he should marry some one who is strong and respectful women"
"You are the one Ranisa" Manik spoke who is near balcony
Nandini covered her head and stood up
"Pranam jamaisa"
"Pranam Lata how are you?"
"Your grace jamaisa"
"Keep the food here"
She did and left.
"Do you need anything Hukum? Shall I bring some milk?" She is nervous

Manik with long steps came to her held her elbows and sucked  her near him "you are only one who is graceful and respectful"
"I bought shame"
"You maintained dignity come on sit and eat"
"I am not hungry Hukum I will have milk"
"Are you punishing me more then I am receiving?" He is angry
She looked at him in worry "no Hukum never"
"You promised me one time meal then why are you not eating?"
Nandini looked defeated she kept her gaze down
"Sit" she did, with small bites she started to eat.
"Gain strength Ranisa, if not I can't complete my punishment"
Nandini looked at him "what punishment?"
"For not giving my father his grandchild he punished me, banned me from sabha and wars till I give him good news"
Nandini blushed, she bow her head silently started eating Manik chuckled at her shyness. He got a naughty thought, he took sweet from her plate and kept it in his mouth positioned himself near her kept his hand on back of her head, she startled by his sudden action widened her eyes, he smirked and kept the sweet near her lips she tried to move away but his hand is firm and widened his eyes showing her to eat it, having no choice she slowly took a bite not touching him, Manik in frustration pressed her waist she gasped taking advantage he pressed his lips to him, when her soft sweet lips touched his, he didn't leave them, he started chewing them and kissing them, when she couldn't take more he left, she is mess, sitting on his lap, he held her head and waist securely. She looked at him with anger look.

"O Ranisa of mine, what can I do? You look eatable" he chuckled
"Hukum you shouldn't do this leave me"
"You are my Ranisa I can do whatever I want"
"Till our goona we can't "
Manik looked at her and smiled "I will keep myself  little away that doesn't mean I can't be near you Ranisa I can do all those things which can make blush like this" he again kissed her sweet and fast, she got up from him, he dragged she fell on him, he hugged her tight. "This is more warm than I dreamt of Ranisa, you fit perfectly in my arms"
She leaned on his chest and cried, he didn't stop her, he knows that she kept herself strong all these years but she was in constant pain. These tears will ease her pain a little.

When she felt ok, she wiped her tears and stood up
"Go freshen up, let us play some games" he said sitting relaxed
"Do you sleep Hukum?"
"I don't want to waste this blissful time in sleep Ranisa let us utilise it with each other company."
She smiled happily,
Both started playing "what is bet Ranisa?"
"You tell Hukum"
"Ok then who ever looses should kiss other one"
"Nah Hukum I won't, anything else" she pout.
Manik laughed "you are no fun, ok let us bet this bangles Masa gave me, if you win I will make you wear now if not tomorrow officially"
Nandini smiled and accepted both played, Nandini won, Manik didn't expect but he with smile made her wear them with his hands. She happily checked and smiled like a child Manik felt happy seeing her smiling.

"Where are your jewellery? Go and wear some I want to see you with jewellery"
Nandini kept silent bitting her lips
"What happened?"
"I gave them to people" she lowered her head
"Why?"
"I can't answer" she said with more guilt
"Why didn't you write about this tax to me?"
"I don't want to make dispute in family."
"What more would you do if lost all jewellery?"
"I don't know"
Manik took her near him, "I killed everyone,"
Nandini gasped "you can't just kill people Hukum, justice can be served"
"I don't believe in it, punishment should and must be harsh"
"People will hate you"
"Do you too?"
She nodded no in hurry
"Then I don't care"
"You will gain only enemies"
"I will kill them too interestingly"
Nandini kept silent "don't worry, I will be safe and unharmed so relax, I sent letter to father explaining everything, and even sent a person too to testify, about your jewellery tomorrow they will send you, polished and I insist that you will wear plenty, next remove this dull colours be presentable, you will eat properly along with me, now let me sleep on our lap" she slept on her lap she smiled and played with his hair.

Next day, Manik is having some work to today so he left house to do it, when he returned he found a messenger,
"Rajkumar manik, this is from king" he gave letter.
Manik took it and read it, his face lighten up in happiness, it is written that king is coming with whole family to take his bahuranisa"

"Ranisa where are you?"
"Jamaisa Pranam Rajkumari is in puja room"
Manik ran " Ranisa"
"Ji Hukum pranam"
"Babasa send letter saying he is coming along with whole family to take you home" he said excitedly but stopped a moment "you look magnificent incredible Ranisa why can't I have you now?" He started to go near her,

Nandini is wearing a dark colour saree wearing little jewellery, her glow and smile made him forget surroundings.
"Hukum! It's great news lord krishna fulfilled my wish, come on let us pray"
Manik who is still in trance of her beauty tried to hug her but she held his hand and shook him little, he came to reality and he looked around found whole family, he blushed, all giggled

As said in three days whole family came, Nandini family invited them cordially, Nandini came to them and took blessings from them.
"Bahuranisa! Today I want to ask you forgiveness for my sin, I should have cherished you instead I sent you away, think me as your child and forgive me" king said
Nandini touched his feet immediately "Babasa is your my father, you have every right to punish me may be I deserve it, don't keep anything as such in heart just bless me"
"May god bless you with lots of happiness and children" he blessed.
When everyone settled, he stood up "Jamuna bai do you want to say something?" He spoke harshly
Jamuna got tears she is always his lust filled Ranisa, and always fulfilled her all wishes but from some days he is neglecting her, when he got news about what she did to Samanth Rajya he started hating her, he ordered her to come and seek forgiveness from Samanth whom she hates most.

Jamuna stood up "forgive me" she said in low voice
King roared " for what? And why say it loud and clear"
She cleared her throat with tears she said "for sending soldiers to collect tax in name of shame"
"Just that's it Jamuna bhai ji?" Amrutha said
Jamuna looked at her in shock "what more didisa?"
"Why in first place my bahuranisa is here? Not under my love?"
"She did mistake she is here as punishment"
"What mistake? To give arthi to her husband when he is going on war? Is it not her hukh? Her privilege which you created as sin, how? Do you not do arthi to Hukum, when our Masa is still present healthy with us till now?" She roared.
Jamuna stunned but gulped and said in defence "she have all elders to inform when her husband is going on war"
"She is going to inform early morning, why to disturb at night?" King asked
Jamuna is speechless this time
"So you purposely made it look like a mistake which I blindly believed is this how you create differences between family?" He said in disappointment
"Hukum she is not innocent as you think" Jamuna tried to defend
"Chotimasa! How do you know she is not innocent? What exactly she did that you felt she is cunning? How much time did you spent with her?"
Jamuna opened her mouth to say something but didn't find any
"Chotimasa! You just felt that sending her away will make us break but you forgot that I am Manik who keeps my promise with life, and I promised her infront of holy fire, my family my parents her family praja and to her, how can I deny" Manik asked furiously "May be you forgot that I am called ruthless Rajkumar for a reason you shouldn't have mess with me"

King took deep breath "as you separated my family, you restricted me from having a grand kid, you defamed me in my Samanth, you made me disrespect able in front of my samdhi, you made my Ranisa away from me most importantly you kept me and my family away from a daughter, so from now on till I see three grand children from Nandini bahuranisa I will not see your face nor listen your voice if at all you come infront of me I will burn your face if I listen your voice I will burn your mouth with my hands and this is my promise" king said in fearful voice she shivered

"Hukum kshama" Jamuna begged but dasi took her away.
Manik blood is boiling he want blood but stood calm Nandini felt his anger raising so she with low voice said "Hukum you said you are giving me something?"
Manik instantly smiled and asked servant to bring a box, they bought large box
Manik opened it, "Ranisa I bought your jewellery back" he said
Nandini gasped "Hukum why did you take trouble? I am not that interested in jewellery"
Manik face hardened "Ranisa keep this in your mind always I always not come back home empty hands Ranisa and my father granted me half potion of every war, in which I spend twenty percent to my soldiers remaining I have in kosh, so you will donate gift but you will never ever sell anything from your sridhaan till I am alive, about you intrested in jewellery I love to see you daily new jewels on you remember" he is angry again
"I will for sure remember Hukum"
Manik took her elbow, "I collected for 700 days jewels till now and I am intended to make as such that you will never ever repeat anything on your body either it's clothes or jewels remove that god dam nath I am getting bored to see it from two days"
"Hukum! You are exaggerating, it's simple and good"
Manik removed it and took a new one with diamonds and pressed it lightly. "Perfect, give this to your Sakhi"
She nodded.

In two days goona happened next bidai, Nandini parents took promise from king that he will never do injustice to his daughter, king felt ashamed but agreed. Manik came forward and held her father hand "Babasa I will keep my Ranisa before me"
"I am happy to listen this, hope you both love each other, if she does any mistakes think her as an ignorant and forgive her"
Manik smiled "I don't think so, she needs to forgive me always"
Her father smiled "that is normal jamaisa" he too smile.

Nandini is been welcomed to Mahal very grandly, all rituals are done , Jamuna came to her with gifts. "Bahuranisa! Talk to Hukum and make me away from punishment, he won't ignore you." She demanded
Nandini bit her lip "Kshama chotimasa! Babasa gave you punishment as your husband how can I interfere
"Don't play smart when he gifts you for mudhikayi ask him he won't refuse"
"No I can't chotimasa"
"I know you are cruel and cunning see didisa I know I am correct"
"Then who are you? Are you not cruel forcing her to get your forgiveness when in first place you spoiled her newly wedded life?" Amrutha asked
Jamuna went away from her room in anger.
"Good work bahuranisa you should never interfere in such matters nor be naive"
"Sure Masa"
Amrutha smiled "take proper rest" she left.

Nandini  got ready and came to kitchen, she said to maharaj of kitchen "I want to cook today can I?"
"Sure bahuranisa"
She is cooking with help of chef teams, when she is about to complete Manik came "are you cooking my favourites? Don't forget the sweet which I ate in your rasoi last time in your kaksh" he said with smirk
Nandini blushed "Hukum I will and you are going to eat your lunch with family" she reminded
"But sweets can be brought to my kaksh you see I am young man I can have sweets whenever I want."
She nodded her head with smile.

That night Milan is planned, Manik is desperate where as Nandini is nervous. She is been gifted a beautiful saree and all pearls jewellery, by Manik

Nandini when got ready her mother in law gave her a plate of sweets, paan, milk some dry fruits and a ball of flowers. She took it with shivering hands, Amrutha smiled "no need to be nervous beti this is your new life god bless to both of you" she kissed her forehead and sent her.

Nandini came to a room decorated with diya, flowers. Some people are singing in front room. She entered many room where only small diyas  is arranged , she is been seated in middle of room. She covered her face totally, she is nervous hand sweety and cold

Manik came, seeing her his desires fumed to hindered folds he took out his crown and came to her, "do you think that there is anything beautiful as such exists as you?"
She blushed nervously
"Are you nervous?"
She nodded
"Me too, what if  I hurt you? You are so delicate" he said removing her veil, she is divine, without wasting a moment he kissed her passionately and demanding.

Whole night Manik made love to her, she melted in his arms, he took care of her delicately.

Next day Manik didn't let her go away, she is his arms all day.
"Ask me anything Nandini, I want to give you something which your heart felt, don't you dare say nothing think and ask"
Nandini smiled "ok! Then.,,,,, I don't like you get scold by anyone that makes me depressed and sad, so never get scolded"
Manik became silent, his father always scolds himself for being ruthless or reckless, he always rebel and go against him, he don't hate but he always scolds harshly which makes her mother too sad, he thought for a second "ok, but I want you to ask me for yourself"
"I want a garden and a swing, which you will help me enjoy, whenever you are free,May be some peacocks, rabbits parrots"
"This is interesting from long time I am planning something now I have a reason good" he kissed her hugging more.

Couple enjoyed their time to most as Manik is banned from duties he is always with Nandini if not with his mother and her.

"Masa I am thinking something"
"What Manik?"
"What if I built a mahal for myself?"
"Why do you need that? What is lacking here?"
"Just I want, my gosh is full need more space, Ranisa wing is small, she needs big one, I want to built a vasontodav for her, so why don't I built a mahal for her?"
"Won't she be alone in mahal? Mostly when you are away from kingdom?"
"She can always visit you when I am away, she can even come with me if she want"
"Ask your babasa"
"What do you think will he accept?"
"No"
Manik said hmmm

As decided Manik asked his father, he said "built a kingdom along with mahal"
Manik is shocked "what do you mean by that? "
"Manik frankly speaking our kingdom is just yours except a small bit, sabha run with your fear, people are happy because of you, and being very very vast kingdom some portions of land is been always neglected why don't we divide it and make other kingdom so that we can pay more attention being the winner you can rule"
"What will Yuvaraj say? Other brothers do? Don't they rebel?"
"Useless, once I go away they will be some petty kings, you can easily snatch it, for just sake of custom I made him Yuvaraj didn't you see how coward he is? Do our praja need such ruler? So don't worry if possible rebel and take kingdom now I don't mind"
"Ok then I will go for south region, all the Ganga flowing land will be mine, my rajgosh will be with me, Ranisa things will go with me"
"Don't you dare ask for your mother she is mine and only mine" he roared
Manik smirked "you became old"
Harshawardhan scoffed "let me show who will have child soon me or you?"
Manik laughed "minavathi is now five years father no one arrived so no use"
Harshawardhan got angry and throws a apple at him, he took it and started eating "so when should I go?"
"When your mother permits"
Manik nodded

Manik rebelled and took all Ganga flowing land, he made his kingdom named it as Gongotri kingdom. Nandini didn't like this idea at first but when he explained what his father view is, she accepted and came with him.
Nandini with her hands decorated whole mahal, Manik felt happy, he became king and made her queen.
Later in bedroom "so I fulfilled your both wishes today Maharanisa I gave you vasanthosav as gift and from now on no one can scold me as I am king"
Nandini is shocked "Hukum for that you rebelled?"
"Yes anything for my Nandini" he hovered her. She giggled

After three months they got news of Nandini pregnancy, both are happy sent this news to their parents, all were happy, being queen Nandini didn't go to her pihar for delivery she is been allotted best medical team by Manik, as he never want her to go away from him, she delivered a beautiful boy, Manik named Amarnath Singh Rajput, to match his mothers name.

Manik as promised made Nandini wear daily a new saree and jewellery life long, he expanded his land to much, he is always ruthless in punishment, where as on other hand Nandini is most kind hearted queen, she serves food to everyone in mahal, she donates her used jewellery to girls who are going to marry or who asks for help, she performs puja and hawans, she arranges best facilities in kingdom.

People used to say a ruthless king got angle, when ever Manik listens this feels proud. To compensate the early days of their marriage problems he always keeps her to himself, never let her away from his sight, she too never asked for more.

Later the couple had ten children among them two girls and all boys, Manik loves his daughters most, his elder son is replica of him, he never let his mother stay away from him, he is rebellious and always obeys his mother, Manik secretly admired him but always scolds him. Amrutha laughs along with Nandini.
