Manik is an engineer started an industry four year back, he makes ceramic items in his industry. He is working day and night to make his industry run smooth. Till now he hardly could survive but this year he made it, he is now providing salaries easily. He is expecting profits too.

Manik is from small village called Bhagalpur in Bihar, he has only Daddi. His parents died in accident when he is 14, he grow up with his cousin named Bhagath. He is Manik's bhuva's son.

Bhagath mother and father had love marriage his father is social reformer, who died in enemies hand when Bhagath was just 3 months boy. His mother started staying with her mother and brother. But her husband death gave her illness which she couldn't survive more when Bhagath completed degree she too died.

Manik's Daddi took care of both boys, Bhagath is same as his father, he can't see people indifference, poverty, social imbalance, cast system, any sort of negative impact on people. This started drift between old lady and him. Manik is only person to be bridge for them.

Years passed but nothing changed, but Bhagath died same as his father, he is been killed by someone. This made old lady more angry on him.

Unlike Bhagath Manik is very obedient child from childhood. He took care of family, family properties, Daddi even he took his parents death gracefully and moved on with life took best care of Daddi never apposes her in any way. Bhagath is his only close friend. His death gave extreme pain to Manik still he weeps for him.

Today he got call from his Daddi, she ordered to come to village soon. Manik kept all his works away and started to village. His mind is occupied with worries. He is searching for a girl from two years, she is the one Bhagath wants to marry, he died on the day of marriage while going to court for registration office in his hands. Manik is searching for the girl he wants to handover all the property of Bhagath to her. She is missing as if she don't exist at all. He searched every possible way to find her but everything went in vein.

Manik reached village he came to hawali it's late night, he started his journey in evening, two hours ride became three and half hours due to rain, so it's dark outside. Listening to car sound his Daddi came out along with servants "Daddi you are not young girl to run here and there, it's wet here be careful"
"O Manik you came finally" she hugged him neglecting his scoldings.
Manik took her inside adjusting her shawl properly.
She served food both talked a little and slept.

Morning when Manik woke up, whole house is on fire as Daddi is shouting on servants ordering things, he know her habits when she want to do something she is always impatient and wants thing perfect.
"What is happening? Why are you in hurry?" He asked his Daddi
"We are going to near by village I found a girl for you, we will see her fix marriage and come back" she explained
Manik face turned bored "not again Daddi"
"You will like her come on get ready fast"
Manik having no say in it, he left to get ready.

Manik mind roared and remembered past, it's a hectic day for Manik he is extremely stressed he got call from Bhagath, he asked him to meet him as he want him to sign for his registration of marriage, with shock and worry he reached a house which Bhagath asked him to come. When he knocked a girl opened the door. She is in simple dress very attractive, short, her lit up face smile everything made him forget everything around him.

Manik only heard about love at first sight now he experienced it, their is no deny in it that he fell in love with her in fraction of moment. But life is never easy for him, Bhagath introduced her as his future wife. Manik felt heartbroken

Today when he is thinking about his marriage his heart is bleeding, he is searching like mad man for her, he still want her. She vanished. As she is nowhere nor exists.

Manik came out of his room found his Daddi ready as always neatly dressed and jewellery added. He smiled at her, she always shows off her wealth whenever she gets chance. Manik respects her adores her and treats her with love. He always listens to her mostly when it comes to his life.

Manik mind again diverted to the girl he lost his heart, "may be this will be the last time he can think about her" he said himself, he kept her cute face in his heart stored it preciously.

They  reached near by village in half an hour, whole village gathered at a house which is big but not that big as his hawali, a middle aged man came invited them in, they all greeted Daddi and Manik talked about random things then ladies brought a women who is in saree not with gharara or covered her head, when Manik looked at her, his mind blasted with endless questions and anxiety, he want to shout at her, why not from three years he is searching about her, she is haunting him from years even in dream.

All are talking Manik is answering them, but his eyes are fixed on her with somany eyes. Daddi asked her somany questions when she is satisfied she looked at Manik ask if asking whether he liked her or not? Manik nodded eagerly he don't want to miss her at any cost. From then on everything decides fast.

Manik wants to talk to her alone but it's not right time for that so he a small girl his mobile number and requested her to give it to the bride, then he realised he didn't even know her name, he started to recollect, he closed his eyes and started going back to memory lane and recollected everything then his mind flashed her name "Nandini" he spelled it and felt as if it rolled so smooth on his tongue. A smile formed. For first time he felt fate is something which is stronger  than anything.

When they were about to leave Nandini asked "Daddi ji can I work after marriage?"
Manik looked at her with amusement, Daddi frowned a little but then smiled "of course if Manik don't have any problems I don't mind it's your understanding"
Manik looked at Daddi, he know she is compromising as she always want girl who can roam around her, Manik then looked at Nandini who is waiting for his answer but she is relaxed not anxious, he frown little at her expression "I don't mind but can you do in city?"
"Yes" she replied soon.
Manik smiled a little. After bidding bye to everyone they left.

Manik waited for two days for her call which he didn't receive, he is disappointed, as Daddi is so much anxious about Marriage, she fixed it after ten days. Manik didn't object as he is very curious about Nandini now. He want answers

Marriage happened in very traditional way, Nandini looked so beautiful, whole eight days celebrations were done from pre wedding to post wedding rituals. Manik is patiently doing everything as Daddi ordered. He never got chance to talk to Nandini in whole rituals and she is dead tired with all these celebrations.

Finally on the day ten the couple are left alone in their room. Manik is now impatient for his answers. He came to room and found Nandini is sitting and sleeping listening to door voice she woke up, Manik felt bad he want to give her  rest but his questions are unbearable.
"I known you are tired but just some questions, where were you from three years? Why didn't you reach me?"
"I came to your office thrice, once someone pushed me to running bud I got fractured, other two times you were out of town I couldn't reach you"
"Who did it?" Manik frowned anger is raising
"The one who killed Bhagath"
"Who?"
"Not his rivals it's someone for his money, Bhagath was worried about it in his last days"
"He is killed by some unknown person for money?"
"Yes"
"Then how can they spare me? We both have equal shares?"
"I don't know"
"This is growing more complicated day by day" Manik hissed in stress and pain
"Shall I sleep? It's been days I slept?"
"Sure sorry" he felt bad. When he came out of washroom after freshen up, he found her in deep sleep, Manik felt cute, he kissed her forehead and pecked her lips slightly slept besides her, she cuddled him immediately.

After one week couple packed everything to go to Patna, Manik lives most of the time in Patna, his own business is set up there. Daddi is upset but having no choice she agreed. All these days she pampered Nandini a lot, made her wear so many jewellery and gave her somany instructions too. Nandini listened carefully.

Patna is big city, people are busy always, he took Nandini to his triple bedroom house, helped her in settling.
"So you want to work?"
"Yes"
"What are your qualifications?"
"Btech in ceramic industry"
Manik is shocked "I have ceramic factory work as engineer in my company I will pay you as I pay to other engineer at office monthly 60k"
Nandini felt relief she agreed.

Manik life became so much sorted out, as Nandini is very good manager, and very efficient worker, she manages most of the work without disturbing his work. She makes everyone active with her working style, she speaks only when needed and upto the work not even a single word more. She became part of his industry within no time.

Daily being busy with work both never thought much about past, nor discussed about it again. Though they didn't had any sex life till now it never gave them any sort of discomfort or negative thoughts about their relation.

All of sudden Nandini got from Daddi she left to village from her field she couldn't inform Manik about it, it's skipped from her mind. She when came to village Daddi Manik couldn't reach her, he lost his mind and panicked when her mobile is switched off. He roamed all the places where she can be but he didn't had luck. He came home exhausted and worried. He found lights on he ran in and found Nandini sat on sofa curled herself
"Nandini" he came running and hugged her, she too hugged him and cried,  "where were you? I got scared" Manik said in pain
"I went to meet Daddi but someone were chasing me I got scared to death" Nandini cried
"Shhhh I am here no one can come near you"Manik kissed her face she melted in his arms, when their pain turned into need they didn't realise, he consumed her, she engulfed him to herself. Both slept in each other arms full naked.

A mobile ring disturbed Manik when he checked his mobile it's not his it's Nandini mobile, Manik looked at her she is in deep sleep. He pecked her softly, he took her mobile and answered, "Nandini your son is crying he wants you, slight fever too so come soon" a voice said while crying of a baby heard, Manik looked at Nandini, his whole world stopped guilt ran through his veins, Bhagath face came infront of him, he is shattered.

Manik came to orphanage where Nandini transfers money regularly from her account, he came to reception, "I am Manik Nandini husband"
"What a great surprise we got, Nandini always praises you, she tells us how you treat her with care, we are happy that Nandini got you as husband." The lady praised
"Son?" Manik asked with hesitation
"Nandini didn't come with you?"
"She is not well she got little hurt so I came to pick him up"
"You want to take him away? She told you everything?" Lady asked in hesitation
"Yes" Manik said with smile
"Wow great she said to me that soon she will tell you everything, so she said it finally great. Arnav is crying from night that is why I have to call her, let us go and see him" lady took him in.

A boy of four to five years sleeping on cot with burning body captured Manik heart with guilt, he is replica of Bhagath, mini version of Bhagath is found again, Manik mind fogged he got tears childhood memories came back, Manik couldn't take it, he got tears a four years boy who lost father and came to hawali along with his mother scene came back again, this time he don't want any complications. He took boy in arms and completed all formalities and took boy and came to village straight away.

Nandini after waking up found house empty she felt he got somewhere busy with some work, she with smile  came work and found that Manik is nowhere seen. She frowned.

Here at village, when Daddi saw boy with Manik she frowned "who is this?"
"Look at him Daddi once" Manik said
Daddi with disgust face looked at the boy when she observed keenly her eyes widened she adjusted her glasses and again looked at him keenly, she stumbled Manik tried to hold her tight she threw away Manik and came to him "Bhagath you came back?" She cried holding the boy historically boy got scared.

Daddi lost consciousness, doctor is been called he checked "she is not in our world may be she couldn't take things more call all your relatives Babuji"
Manik got tears she is only one he has in life now she too is leaving.

That night Manik sat besides Daddi, she is nowhere near life she is saying all those things about Manik and Bhagath childhood. She started abusing Manik
"Why are you like this? Why my child Bhagath got such fate? He never enjoyed comforts where as you been enjoying all life, I curse you, you too die like him Manik" she cursed Manik.

Manik became numb, he all his life felt that his Daddi loves him unconditionally, he always been bridge between Bhagath and Daddi, he always  begged Bhagath to home and he always warned him not to trust Daddi "Manik she is clever old lady she knows how to manipulate you, keep yourself safe from her do whatever you want to do not her choice"
Manik felt like laughing at himself for not believing him, he even pitted himself for his beliefs and his rotten fate

Manik didn't leave Daddi till last moment, Nandini came to village after two days waiting, seeing Daddi on bed listening to her bala barring she felt shock and even sympathetic towards Manik, her heart pained for him.  Seeing Arnav here made her nervous, she tried to talk to Manik but he didn't listen. Manik is blank doing everything just like machine

Daddi died after five days, Manik performed all rituals according to her wishes, he took Arnav and performed them with him. For fifteen days he is been doing everything pandit said.

When all relatives left, all rituals of last rights completed Nandini came to Manik
"Good thing you came I want to talk to you anyways. I don't know why you hid about Arnav to us or to me, he is heir of the family, Bhagath specially, he can never be sent to orphanage he has every right to enjoy his life as family heir. As a mother you will be taking care of him without any hurdles from now on. Bhagath gave me responsibility of the property changing to your name I searched for three years fate bought us meet again now when everything is clear here are papers of property on your name I have written everything on Arnav name unless he is 21 you will be the guardian. I came inbetween everyone which I understood now I need to move on, morning I will go away be happy and give Arnav beat life"
"Manik listen to me once" Nandini begged
"No need Nandini! I can never regret our marriage for once as I loved you when for first time I saw you, now I am still storing this one year life with you, please don't make it hard for me" Manik turned away from her.

Nandini came to her room. She cried and cried. She want to explain everything to him from long back but attacks on her were increasing and she don't want Manik to be targeted, now she regrets.

Nandini took her luggage at midnight and started her journey. It's not new in her life that she is been snatched from comfortable life. But this time it's very hard for her to leave Manik and go. Still she did.

From three months Manik like angry bull searching for Nandini again, she left everything and him and Arnav. Manik is pissed off.

"Look Manik she don't deserve any of this, why don't you just forget her and move on, if you want you can raise this child with new life and new wife" suggested their family lawyer, subramanyam, he is working with family since Manik Father Time. Everyone in family trust him blindly. Manik treats him like his father.
"No uncle I need to find her she can't just runaway always like this" he roared
"Let her be marry my daughter she will be best partner to you, you will be happy with her" subramanyam suggested
Manik looked at him in shock "what? No just please leave me alone I want to breath free" Manik said thinking something subramanyam left having No choice.

Manik is suspecting subramanyam from long time, he is been suspicious sometimes, he often talks about his daughter marriage with him, he even started behaving different since his marriage with Nandini. Always pointing out her flaws when they are alone and making points on how incapable and inefficient wife she where as Nandini always been best partner for him.

Manik appointed a detective for Bhagath always, as Bhagath always runs away from home, lives very unsafe life fights with system, government and some greedy persons. So to protect him Manik always made sure that he is been followed by his men.

After death of Bhagath the detective person too went missing, which made Manik worry, now when he recollect only this subramanyam knows about the detective appointment, Manik got deep pain he felt that backstabs are only things he receives in life he is only worth for them. Nandini leaving him made him bleed heart.

Manik came to police commissioner who is distant relative to Manik, he explained all his doubts to him and asked for help. Police commissioner didn't waste time. He started searching for Nandini and even started digging things about subramanyam too.

Arnav is now mingling with people around him, he sometimes asks about his mother Manik feels heart stab listening to her name "how can she leave me and go? How dare she?" Was all haunting him all nights.

Police commissioner got information Manik is been called to station, Manik came with high hopes.
"So Manik let me tell you a story, their lives a manager who used to help family head and is always friends to the family head. Whole family trust him with life. This manager had one son. When he is grown up, family helped him to persuade law, everything was picture perfect untill lawyer came to know about treasure family treasure which is been stored underground in hawali, he planned perfect and killed the son and his wife in accident, but Iron Lady of family didn't die as he expect, she raised children strong. Years passed he thought of killing those children but his wife suggested to get that heir marry his daughter, so he started to attack the other son of family and frame it as some random attack. Now he is happy that the other son died, property will be only for other son which is you.

So he planned about your marriage with his daughter, but Daddi and you searched for a girl and got married, he like snake started giving poison to you inform words. In between he came to know about Bhagath will and name Nandini, he started chasing her and kill her too. By gods grace she is running. Bhagath died is perfect plan of him now his next target is his son Arnav." Police commissioner narrated
"I will give written statements on him please arrest him today I want this boy safe and happy" Manik kissed the boy.

Subramanyam got arrested, he cursed Manik a lot but Manik didn't react, he is fighting case on him.
Manik asked commission about Nandini. He gave Manik her address. Manik took it and came to the address.

Nandini is working in Oldage home as manager. She is pregnant too. She looks after accounts and all. She is now a days numb. Manik when reached her room, she is calculating something
"Nandini" Manik called
Nandini looked at him, she is scared to get pain again.
"How are you? Wait are you pregnant? Again?" He said
"No I am pregnant for first time" she corrected
"Arnav?"
"Arnav is Nidhi my sisters son, Bhagath and Nidhi were like minded people they mingled easily and loved each other deeply, they crossed line Arnav came to world, but I lost my sister after delivery, she was so much weak. To protect this baby me and Bhagath need to marry as your lawyer was chasing him to kill. For his sons safety he want to marry me that's all. His death made me target to subramanyam he tried to kill me manytimes, last time was when we ...." She bit her lip to stop tears. "He chases me from village till house, he made me panicked and laughed at me too"

Manik hugged her tight, "shhhhh I am sorry very sorry Daddi cursing me made me loose everything I am sorry come home now" Manik begged
"How can you say that you want to leave me and move on?" She started beating his chest in anger Manik held her hands "sorry please forgive me I love you Nandini I love you like hell hamaysha" he kissed her
"Bhagath always said about you, he made me join ceramic studies, he always want us to get married he always said to us that one day if anyone comes to you guys and ask about me then make it clear that you guys should invite him with open hearts he is very naive protect him, I loved you before I saw you Manik you are and always my inspiration" she hugged and cried.

Both reached hawali did puja then came back to Patna again concentrated on business and Arnav along with baby who is on board.
