Razia and Raheem lives in Lucknow, Razia sells mehandi comes, Raheem sells flowers, he has shop in market, after long wait of two years, they got two sons each with two years difference. Elder is Manik Raheem Siddiki, second Mirza Raheem Siddiki.

They have neighbours with a Hindu family, krishna and Shamala murthy. They were very friendly. They had a daughter Nandini. Both families are very close, Shamala helps Razia in many ways, where as Raheem being pure soul always supports Krishna

Krishna is a govt office accountant, so Raheem made him understand and made him start new business of nursery. Being interested in plants, it gave him pleasure and money.

Within five years both family got better in business, one day when krishna and Shamala returning from some relatives house, they got robbed and killed. Nandini was with Razia on that day. Raheem got big order to finish. So all children and Razia helped him in making garlands. When they were finished about to sleep, ambulance came and dead bodies were been kept out.

Krishna family, and Shamala family came, cremation happened, then both families started fighting on Nandini custody, Raheem felt disgusting, he shouted on all and declared that he will bring her up, Razia got shocked.

Later at night, Razia said "how can we keep her? She is Hindu, mostly we are just growing now in business, how can we accommodate her?she won't snatch bite from our children?"
"Razia if same happened to us and our children are same position what happens? Think even our family does same nah, Will Shamala bhabhi says same?"
"No she is so good person "
"Then? Think if we had a girl child and when-she is same position then? Can you even imagine? Razia if Allah gave us one more child will think he/she took bite from our boys? Razia Nandini is good child now she is our daughter. Taking care of us is serving Allah. He gave us strength to raise her, who are we to deny it?"
"You are correct, I will keep her in my lap and protect. Don't worry"

Nandini became lonely, boys and Razia couldn't make her out of misery, she became silent crying for her parents, Razia took extra care and made her help her in small works to divert her, Raheem used to bring her sweets and snacks to cheer her up, Manik and Mirza started playing with her. She slowly started to forget her parents and started calling them Abbu and ammi like boys.

Raheem got opportunity to shift his business to Delhi, at start things were tough, family suffered but slowly things went in correct places, business took good start, Razia to worked at some places, then children started school.

Nandini became one of them, she started dressing like them, talking in Urdu, doing Namaz with them, eating their food, made her family.

Three children learned to help parents, Manik used to help his father, Mirza used to bring things for house, does things which Nandini can't do, where as Nandini used to clean and cook. When parents are at work.

Days passed to years, Manik started adolescence age, his eyes got glimpse of Nandini, he started getting different vibes with her.

One day, Raheem took him to Masjid, "look Manik now you are growing, you get attracted to many things, like smoking, drinks and girls, think once if I smoke what will happen? Allah will punish me as it is bad habit, he makes me cough then makes me get cancer then I can't work, then your ammi has to work hard, one day I will die, she will spoil her health, Mirza and you will start to do work, Nandini will be alone, someone may eye on her and make her dirty, is this good?"
"No abbu never say such"
"That even happens when I drink but in different way I being in Nisha start spending my money on it, then I will abuse your ammi as she asks me to stop it, then same happens will you accept it?"
"Abbu please I beg you don't say such"
"Manik same way Allah will punish you if you do any type nasha, about girls, think if our Nandini is eyed by anyone how it feels? If anyone eyes at your ammi how it feels? Gandi nah, same way all other girls are same as your ammi, untill you get married, and after that she will be only one for you, not anyone, Manik Allah gave us this life to work hard, help others, be trustworthy. I want to you and other two study well, become some engineer and doctor lawyer, or something but complete studies first. Start working hard then get married. So now we are Masjid promise me beta you will work hard study well and become professional"
"Yes abbu I will" Manik promised

After that day Manik never looked at Nandini with that gaze, her respect became his duty.

Raheem made all three study well, he used check them constantly, make them realise their mistakes. Razia made them be united always, she made Nandini understand how to be with boys inside house and outside house, how covering her head is safe, she never made her wear burka but she covers her head with hijab, as day by day she is becoming beautiful.

Manik joined college, Nandini started her mensural cycle, Razia took best care, explained her about it, and why she has to be away from all boys, she explained about unwanted pregnancy and told her about its damages. Nandini took everything serious and kept her distance from all boys, even from her abbu, she stopped hugging him.

Mirza is funny guy in house because of him whole house feels lively. He make pranks, makes everyone irritated, and keeps everyone happy.

Once a boys gang troubled Nandini, she came home crying, Manik took his cricket bat and went to them, gave them each ten beatings, then came home, Nandini held Razia and started to cry saying she will stop studies. Razia and Raheem felt heart broken.

After few days, they explained her, it's not always running away is good, she needs to be strong and give them reply, Raheem started to teacher her some moves which can make her safe and runaway to safe place. Mirza came forward and made her learn how to knock a gang of boys at a time seeing videos. Manik Mirza and Raheem all used to attack her, she took six months to learn, when she is good at it, she again started to go back to school.

Manik joined university, Mirza came to college, Raheem business developed a lot, Razia opened her henna shop at home which they recently bought of their won. Manik is doing part job at near by book shop, Mirza is helping his father, Nandini helps her ammi.

No one wastes money, food is always lavish, books and fees never neglected, only on Eid they get new dresses and accessories. Snacks are daily happiness which Raheem brings home daily. Mostly Nandini favourite are been brought. Once Mirza complained about this, Raheem laughed "once she gets married no one will ask or know what is her favourites, bringing is just forget, and when her children comes she herself forgets her own favourite, so till she gets married her favourites will come home, so no complaints" she explained

Nandini cried saying she will never leave them away from them, Razia and Raheem laughed, boys looked at them with shock
"Every girl Nandini cries same, I too cried, you don't believe your abbu took one month to make me stop crying, now I don't want to go away from your abbu not even for a day"
"But I will not go"
"You have more six seven years first study well, be healthy and happy" Raheem said wiping her tears.
She with pout stopped crying.

Mirza joined university, Manik started a small company of software, with his friends. He took loan of two lakhs and started. Raheem didn't object, Nandini grown up as women. She too joined university this year. Mirza is in final year.

When family attended one of their friends daughter marriage, Raheem was asked for Nandini hand, he replied she is still in university need more two years to complete afterwards he will think about it.

After two days they came home, Raheem and Razia got tensed, then again said samething but they started insisting
"Bhaisaheb! I need to say you something. We're are not interested in this marriage"
"Look Raheem miya, we will perform Nikha, rukhsati after her education completed"
"She is Hindu, her name is Nandini murthy, she was our neighbour daughter"
That made things vulgar, the boy started abusing saying that family Deceived them, warned Raheem saying "I will see how you can be with us Muslims, you kept a Hindu in house and made our religion, shameful, Allah will punish you, I will personally see how can she get married" he shouted

Manik and Mirza tried beat him but Raheem stopped "Allah will never punish those who shows humanity, leaving a girl child on road would have been my sin, not raising her, religion is not something we choose, it choose us, Allah made us musalamaanon then it's his grace, if she is born as Hindu it god grace, coming to my family is again Allah wish and my blessing. You came to my house to ask her hand means I brought her up well, Allah grace is always on her, about me being in community is not that important than keeping my family safe, if you all harm me then who is against Allah? Did Allah ever said about kicking a family for accepting his grace? Bhaisaheb I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable or any wrong assumptions, but I said no to this marriage always, Allah knows I never intent to keep you in dark that is why I explained it all, still you want to take this on ego for what Allah knows, I don't care, I am also a pure Muslim, I accept everything" he said in anger

They went away with curses, Raheem felt happy that he didn't accept that boy, he felt Allah saved his daughter. Razia became worried about her.

After that a group of people accused him, made him suffer in business but Raheem didn't regret, nor Razia, Manik started earning well, so that didn't bother them at all.

Mirza completed studies and asked his father to send him to Canada, Raheem gave some amount and told him"I actually kept this for Nandini marriage but, take this now and send them back once you start earning. I don't have more"
Mirza took them applied for colleges, took loan, Manik helped him little, he flew to Canada.

House became silent, no one talks much, nor laughs they all missed him a lot. Manik got rishta, Raheem didn't reply, he want to perform Nandini marriage first, this summer her studies will complete. He is worried about her along with Razia

After few days they again called Raheem, "Manik Ahmed asked me your hand in marriage with his daughter Yasmin what do you say?"
"Abbu I need time, just six months"
"They can wait"
"I don't want to get committed"
"Do you have anyone in mind?"
Manik kept silent
"You can tell me Manik, I never had any objection, you three being happy in life is my only ambition, with whom I don't care."
Razia is worried "is she nice girl? Can she adjust with us?"
"Ammi, Abbu I will tell you in private" he said
Nandini got up to go to her room, Manik stopped her "eat we will talk later" she sat down.

Later when dinner completed three came to terrace "abbu! I don't know this correct or wrong, I should feel as such or not, you both will agree or not? She will agree or not, but from long time I feel different when I am with her, or think about her"
"Better do istikharah prayer beta" Raheem said
"I did abbu, I actually did many times, everytime in morning I see her face"
"Then why to hesitate, tell us who it is?"
"Nandini" Manik said with fear
Both stood up stunned "Yah Allah" Raheem said feeling suffocated
Razia got tears "Allah pak gave us a way, Yah Allah sukhar hai," she said praying
"But bhagum"
"Nandini gets to live with us, no one will question her about her religion or community, we can be at ease, we can always keep her happy, in our house with us, we don't need worry more"
Raheem started thinking, "it is correct that they are worried about her marriage, he asked some Hindu friends they rejected saying she can't adjust in Hindu family, it will make life hell, he got really worried but Manik?"
"Manik is not her brother, Arey not even her community, she can marry him, we didn't adopt her, so we are not her foster parents, why to think more?"
"What will she say? Does she looks at him as man? What if not? We can't force her, about everyone, what will they talk?"
"Everyone knows she is not our daughter so what is their in fearing? About Nandini I will talk"
"No I will talk to her first" Raheem said
"Manik do you really think she is one for you?"
"Yes abbu, I had this feelings from school time but, when you explained not to look at any girl, I kept my thoughts away, when she got rishta, I was heart broken, but Allah gave me opportunity, I am sure abbu"
"If she rejects?"
"I don't know abbu, I believe in Allah that's all I can say"
Razia kissed his forehead and prayed.

After two days Raheem took Nandini to shoping, when they were walking on streets "Nandini! You know I want to get you married"
"Abbu I won't marry"
"I know that and last time that made fuss. Bachi life needs companionship, someone who can hold us when we are falling, do you remember? When we came to Delhi how hard was life? Your ammi held my hand tight, she is my strength which Allah as given me, you should have one such, can you marry a Muslim boy?"
"Abbu! I don't know anything about Hinduism, I followed ammi, so if you feel that boy can make you trust then I don't mind abbu"
"Can you marry Manik?"
Nandini stopped walking, looking at him in shock
"Yesterday he said he had feelings for you from long time, but I don't agree, I want your answer, not because he is my son, not because you have any depth towards family as I raised you, not because I asked you, you will agree. When we go home ammi will teach you istikharah prayer sleep by morning you will find answer Allah will help you, abbu always wants your happiness don't forget this, also never think that Manik will feel bad, none of these things are your choices, Allah gave you to me, so you are never in depth, Manik liked you because my daughter is best, that does make you like him back, it's his own choice not your concern"

"I will pray abbu" she said thinking.

When they reached home Raheem asked his wife to teach her prayer after dinner, Razia felt happy. She hugged Nandini happily "you will only follow your heart nothing matters" she said happily.

Later at night she did prayer and slept. Manik did prayer to surpass his tension, he called Mirza, after long talks Manik told him everything, Mirza too shocked but is happy that Nandini will be with them as family. He too is excited.

When Nandini, tried to wake up, she heard someone calling her, she want to wake up, but she couldn't, "you are here, see how stressed you are looking leave this work and sit, let me bring food for you"
She again tried to open and a force of light blocked her eyes and someone  came near her, she tried to concentrate, finally she found it's Manik, he smiled, he is in white shirt and white pants looking so handsome

Nandini woke up with jerk. She looked at watch, she got up, she freshen up and came to her mother and did early morning prayer. She felt peaceful

"Nandini did you sleep well?"
"Yes ammi, I felt someone calling me, but I couldn't wake up, then a white light appeared and Manik bhai face appeared"
"Really?"Razia want to confirm it.
"Yes ammi" she said with shy. "But ammi, I call him bhai,"
"Cousins can marry in Islam, so once called as bhai, doesn't count, unless you never felt him as man, if you really feel Manik as only brother then don't go for that, it's sin"
Nandini started thinking, "I don't know ammi it's new to me"
"It is, even for me too, do you want more time?"
"May be ammi, you know nah, how scared I am"
Razia hugged her "happens beti, women life is as such, we have to think, adopt and accept wholeheartedly all new changes life throws at us, fear is obvious, but never take any decision in hesitation, let us wait till your heart permits"
"Ammi but I am Hindu, it may cause problems to him, already abbu and you are facing them, may be he marrying me out of sympathy, or may be reduce your stress?"

"Ammi" manik called from out side "yes beta!" He came in,
"No Nandini, you don't need any sympathy, we all are equal in this house, so why do you feel that I should be sympathetic towards you,? About you being a Hindu, I never had objection, ammi and abbu are stressed not because you have to marry, they are worried for your happiness, so I don't need to be taking such step" Manik explained "ammi sorry I was passing by I heard it, I couldn't stop myself" Manik said in respect

"Manik she needs time to observe and accept these changes they are sudden, we need to give her time"
"I too feel same ammi"
"Is it ok Nandini?"
"Ammi! I am doing wrong?"
"About what bachi?"
"Asking time?, I know him very well, so am I wasting time or playing wrong path?"
"No bachi, it's your right, in Islam, girls have right to take time, not only now, even after Nikha you can take time, ruksati will only happen girl agreed, even after that unless you feel that your husband can touch you, you have right to take time, never ever think as such"
"I will never think as such Nandini, I can wait for life time"
"Thank you" she said comfortably.

"Come on, let us prepare food" Razia took her to kitchen. After that conversation, Manik understood two things, she overthinks. And she need to know how it feels to be with him. He started showing his interest on her, he praises her when she dressed good, he took her to his office and introduced to his friends as his girlfriend, she blushed , he spent time with her daily after dinner sitting on steps of front door, he asked about herself and her future plans.

After one month when they are at steps with tea cups, Manik watched her, she is more relaxed with him than before, her head covered with dupatta not with hijab, "did you think about us?"
Nandini looked at him and then turned away with blush "yes"
"What do you think?"
"Your wish"
"No Nandini, ammi said nah, only your wish matters"
She smiled "you don't know anything about girls" she commented
"What does that means now?"
"You don't understand girl"
"I am trying you know that"
She laughed "girls say your wish on two conditions, when she really don't want to do but she is ready to do that, next one is when she really wants to do it but shy to say"
Manik looked at her, she smiled "do you know that how unholy things I want to do with you now?" He said in husky voice
She got up "Allah! I think I should go now"

"I have right to think, say and do so, no need to runaway, I won't do until you are really ready" he said
She sat down but with stiff body
"You are such a naive person, so let me talk to abbu"
"Don't you feel shy to talk to abbu about this?"
"No, I want to hold you in my arms soon"
She turned away "you don't need to be so blunt, let ammi ask"
Manik shook his head in disbelief

Next day Manik asked his abbu about Nikha"
"Nandini are you ready?"
"Yes abbu" she said slowly
Razia screamed with happiness. She started to say all her dream about Nikha. Manik laughed along with his abbu.

Razia fulfilled all her wishes in Nikha, Mirza came back for vacation, Nandini completed her studies. Raheem warned Manik that ruksati will happen when Nandini wants, Manik agreed.

After Nikha Manik hugged tight, "I am so happy Nandini, thank you"
She blushed
"Go and change, I don't want beatings from abbu" he said, she laughed

Next day Nandini asked ammi "ammi do my marriage, I don't want him to wait more"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes ammi" she blushed

Raheem want to take time but when Nandini asked having no choice marriage happened, Nandini got all functions in very dreamy way, her mother did her mehendi, it got so deep colour, next day Razia blessed her. At ruksati when they are crying boys made fun. But Raheem too cried with happiness.
"You are always my daughter, never ever hesitate to come to me" he said to her. She nodded.

Manik asked Nandini "do you need time?" On their first night, she blushed, before she can answer he kissed her, "you only blush when you want it" he again kissed. Whole night they talked about their feelings and again made love.

Nandini too joined Manik business, Mirza got job in Canada, he too got married to a girl from Canada, she is Arabic country girl, Raheem and Razia are very happy with children lives. They daily pray to Allah to keep them smiling.

Nandini got pregnant, she is been pampered most by her abbu. Manik started bringing snacks to home, since his marriage. He brings flowers for hair too, Manik is very naughty with her

"I never known that you are this badmash hai"
"Tho? You are my biwi, I can be"
"Now leave me"
"What leave me? Did you see how tempting you are now, no way" he hovered her
"This is fourth time no"
"Nandini you are so glowing what to do" he took her lips and made her enjoy most.

Raheem goodness and Razia love showed them good path and happy life
