Nandini is a model photographer, she works in Paris, her work is taking photos of model on walks. Her photos are magazine articles or cover pages. She is pretty famous in modelling world.

Today afternoon she got call from her parents which crumbled her heart, her only sister lizy or Elizabeth died in car accident. She cancelled all her plans and rushed to California.

Nandini parents are from India but settled in California, just after their marriage. They have two girl babies Elizabeth and Nandini. They all have close relation, everything was pretty normal until Elizabeth married Manik.

Manik and Nandini were inseparable friends from kindergarten, they did everything together, when and how Nandini caught up with feelings she too didn't realise. Nandini is heart broken, nobody informed her, she didn't know anything about her sister getting engaged or proposed by Manik, how can she guess? And how she is been called home wrench? How the hell can he think of me such? She cried. Her sister didn't help either. She made it obvious to everyone and made her villain in matter of hours among two families.

Nandini avoided everyone and everything from then on, marriage happened, she stood far far away from marriage, she just stood in background, seeing the new couple smiling happy burned her heart for sure but that doesn't mean she want to snatch things from her own sister.

Nandini got offer as photographer in Paris, she didn't hesitate nor wasted time, she informed parents and without anyone saying goodbyes she left for Paris.

Lizy used to call her regularly, shared good bond with Nandini always, she had a twins daughter and son, they were pretty roach family in California as Manik father is great businessman, he inherited everything and expanded the business. Everything was good. Suddenly lizy dead news gave Nandini very bad feeling as she never visited them but they used to come to Paris every year in summer. Manik never stays he just drops and picks the family.

Nandini reached Manik house. House is very silent, gloomy. Seeing her children came running calling aunty. Nandini got tears hugging them. She kissed them both.

Manik who came down saw Nandini, he is in devastating state, his bread is grown, eyes are lifeless, may be sleepless too.
"I am sorry! I just got news and I rushed" Nandini spoke in awkward voice
"Yeah! It was all sudden" Manik got tears. Once she was only one close friend with whom he shared everything, now it's awkward.

Nandini made children eat, take bath read them story to sleep, when they slept, she came back to her parents house. Her parents are now old enough, she felt that she should take them back with her to Paris, but her ached for her sister children too.

Days passed Elizabeth death rituals happened her final prayer too been held. Nandini is getting multiple calls from work so she is needed to return back.

She came to Manik house spend two days with children after asking his permission, then night she waited for him.

Manik came pretty late, seeing her waiting for him Manik frowned
"I was waiting for you, tomorrow I am going back to Paris, I am planning to take my parents to Paris as they old now can't stay alone here, I just want to inform you, and.... Do send children to me whenever you feel they need break or you need break I will personally come and pick them and drop them back" she spoke not even looking at him for once

Manik felt really odd, all these years he avoided her as plague, he never ever tried to have normal conversation with her atleast once. He never greeted for Christmas once after their break up as friends. Now when things are like such, he don't know what to speak.

After that incident she never ever try to talk, or do anything,she is far far away from him and even from her own family, many times he felt sorry for her, he always missed her friend but his ego was always stopping him to even look straight towards her.

Nandini waited for his reply, seeing him zooming in his own  thought, she took deep breath, she took her bag, wrote her number in a paper kept it on table.

"I have to deny, I have very very busy schedule"

Don't take to much pressure about children I am always willing to take responsibility of them, they are my lizy kids and I am always attached to them always don't ever hesitate, I have written my number, they can call me anytime, bye Manik" she said in very soft and calm tone left without looking back. Manik got tears break down.

Months rolled off, Manik is having really tough time, not because of children but because he is knowing some thing which he never knew existed.

Elizabeth is sophisticated lady, she want everything trendy, new and always gets bored with things easily, she always spent lots of money on unnecessary stuff, she always wanted lavish parties. Manik never complained, even when that irked him a lot. A loves simple life.

Things went more down fall when Manik came across her affair with a young boy, he felt devastated. Manik managed children always, he loves doing chores to them spending time with them. Lizy gets irritated easily when children get handful. Manik loves them always even when they are naughty and stubborn he loves to explain things to them.

Now when he recollected everything from their marriage, Manik felt odd, as every moment Manik felt that lizy is not that whom he actually loved. Nandini got call from children, they both requested her presence for their birthday, she couldn't deny them. Birthday without mother is already horrified, she don't want to disappoint them more, she came to California.

Nandini bought them toys, dresses, some books for drawing. Nandini came to their home along with her parents, next day is their bday. Children came running, hugged her tight. They shared somany things with her and her parents.

Manik who is lost in his own agony didn't notice them, Nandini father came to him "what happened Manik?" Seeing Manik so lost he asked
Manik dropped dairy he held gasping at their presence. He hugged him tight so that he don't fall.
Nandini frowned took the book, seeing it as dairy she looked at Manik who is watching her, she with hesitation opened

"Why does she gets everything best? Why won't I? I am diva of college, beautiful then her still Manik never speaks to me why? Manik is drowned in liquor for whole week, children birthday is been celebrated he just came for cake cutting and then left, Nandini and family partied with them. Nandini left to Paris again this time she is determined to never go back. She don't want to face anything or anyone.

It's fashion week ending day, huge party arranged by sponsors in success, Nandini is wearing deep green cut dress, high heels, hair made into messy bun, she is dancing with her friend cum partner David, they are so close laughing at his silly romantic jokes, taking sip of whiskey occasionally, enjoying every bit of evening, she want to forget everything and everyone from months.
