Manik and Nandini got married three months back, there marriage happened because Manik brother died on the next day of marriage with Nandini, both sides parents decided to make them Married as they don't want Nandini to suffer and Manik lend hand to do so.

Ok let us go into details:

Manik and Nandini are classmates from school time both are introvert in nature, just hai hello and mingling in friend circle happened

After that both joined same college again same class as they took same subject things bit different now they started understand each other and comfortable with each other

In between this their families union happened in joint ventures in business occurred so they often met in business parties family gatherings and all they now know each other totally.

When things getting better and both started little conversation, Malhotra's asked Nandini hand for their elder son Ratan, that day for first time Nandini looked straight at Manik with hope and Manik was helpless as his brother was one who insisted, he stood silent. That made Nandini accept the alliance she was deeply hurt

Marriage was grand, unlike Manik Ratan was expressive and passionate person so he made everything grand and loud.  After marriage Murthy family said they have some ritual in morning so they will send their daughter next day when Ratan comes to take her, so Nandini was gone her home

Ratan was excited for his bride so he rushed to her house but unfortunately a truck smashed his car he died on spot. Both families were shocked, Manik and Nandini brother Abhimanyu completed the  formalities with police and brought his body for cremation.

Nandini became stone, already being introvert and now this bomb made her silent, after fifteen days Malhotra family came Murthy house
"We will take Nandini with us and she will be our daughter we will remarry her now she is our responsibility"
"My daughter is never burden she is fine here" said Murthy with tears
"If you all don't mind can I suggest something?" Abhi asked
All elders looked at him
"Before things make ugly and Nandini go more helpless why don't we make her marry soon May be in week"
"Who will marry her Abhi? Everyone will say she ate her husband on very next day" his mother cried
Manik mother to cried she knew how people talk

Manik stood up "I will marry Nandini"

All stood silent "are you sure?" Asked his father
"Yes papa" he said firmly. Manik felt as if he is culprit if that day he accepted his heart may be today his brother would have been alive

All accepted but Nandini did accepted she said she don't want marry and will not be a reason for some others death, as she didn't even listened to whom she is getting married

Manik when got to know he didn't think twice he brought Marriage certificate and came to Murthy house

Murthy was helpless as Nandini is adamant so Manik walked to Nandini room

She is in white salwar pale eyes swollen, thin, shattered his heart sinked he took chair "Nandini how are you?"
"Ok" she spoken in low voice Manik presence made it more hard for her, she got tears running more
Manik sniffed as he to got tears for his brothers
"Take this and sign please"
She didn't ask or read the papers she was about to sign he stopped "read it Nandini"
"No need Manik what more do I have to loose except my life" she signed with tears
Manik wiped his tears "May be more than that May be this time your heart" he took papers and he too signed stood up, he asked Murthy and Abhi too sign they are shocked reading papers Manik didn't say anything seeing Nandini sign they too signed

Manik took papers and came back to Nandini
"Pack your bags Nandini let us go home"
Nandini looked at him in shock "why?"
He gave papers to her again "read them please"
Nandini looked at them shock was all she felt. She is been shaken she nodded no
Manik took papers kept in his coat packet "congratulations Nandini Manik Malhotra we are married I don't want any rituals so please pack your bags if not you can just come as you are"

Nandini mother came, Nandini hugged her and cried for long time

Manik was outside , Malhotra family too came, but Nandini didn't listen she is crying and not ready to come out of the room, Having no choice Manik came in
"Nandini! Stop thinking Nonsense, it's all our unlucky fate we lost him so don't blame yourself please let us go"
She nodded no
Manik took deep breath took her in arms and started walking saying sorry to all the elders, he forcefully brought her to his house.
"Think Nandini we lost bhai but surrounding all people are suffering atleast for them just stop crying eat that's all I want from you I beg you we all can't see you like this" Manik begged she got more tears

She don't know what to think what to do? She is always been in crossroads when it comes to Manik

Manik mother made things easy for Nandini she gave her separate room, daily Manik morning and evening comes to her room asks about her well being and about her food then goes away, her mother in law drags her out of room and make her watch some shows or asks help in kitchen to make her normal.

Month crossed, Murthy family came
"Manik beta we want to perform small rituals and puja here in this house only, please accept"
"If Nandini is ok with that I have no problem aunty" he said
Nandini didn't refuse as they are already married
Next day they made South Indian marriage and Satyanarayan puja, Manik after long time seeing Nandini is dark colour that to it's his favourite red saree made his heart skip but he composed  himself telling himself that watching her is enough for him

Evening both ladies came to Nandini "beta we don't want to rush you or force you but, just once think about Manik what is his mistake? He too last his brother still he is trying to give you happiness but he too needs happiness same way you too deserve happiness Rohit is gone but life is still infront of you give both a chance till now Manik took but now until you take steps he won't proceed"
"Why do you want me to do?" She asked in pain as everytime she again on crossroad how can she proceed? How?

"Shift to his room" Nandini closed her eyes she is really in crossroad now she mumbled and nodded but she know Things are not that simple, she can't take step he won't take one so even staying together don't change anything

When Manik came to his room removing his shirt he found Nandini, he stopped straightened
"Do you need to talk?" He asked softly
"Wooo I am staying here" she said while rubbing her hands looking down nervously
"Did mom said? Wait I will talk to them" Nandini held his hand to stop
"No need" she mumbled
Manik huffed "Nandini you don't need to adjust you just live happy that's all I want" she nodded bitting her lip, "I am trying Manik and really this doesn't bother me I am ok with this" she said taking deep breath praying God hoping that he understood her inner meaning that she is ready to share with him

Manik ruffled his hair at back of head "ok feel free and don't bother about me I will not disturb you" saying this he took his night dress walked to bathroom

Nandini sat on bed holding her head she is now frustrated, about life about herself specially about Manik first he refused to take a step with her now he refuse to recognise her steps it's his fault not her, she with anger slept without changing

When Manik came out from washroom he gulped the way Nandini slept gave him full view of her curves, that slender waist those heavy breast god forbidden she is kill him he gulped and covered her with sheets and walked to balcony

He took cigarette but stopped, he remembered how once Nandini caught him smoking and how she turned away with disgust, he stopped it till his brother death, to release his stress he used it again but now it's big No he kept it in secret place and sat down watching stars

Nandini words rang in his ears "I am ok sharing"
"Is she ok with room sharing life sharing and our bound sharing? Did she expressed? Am I miss reading and forcing like I brought her here? I know she likes me I know she is angry that I rejected her on that day I know now she is in confused state but am I not in same situation? How to take a step? God knows how much I want to hold her to my dear life

"Nandini Manik Malhotra it sounds sooo so great"
He smiled like fool watching stars ⭐️

Days rolled to months but no change they just talk only when needed, they don't cross each other they don't disturb each other, daily Manik brings roses from office and keeps them in vase of his room
Daily Nandini packs his tiffin which he takes with smile Only that is progress

Manik mother and Nandini mother came to temple,
"What to with them? The silence between them is hard to break two days back I sent them for shopping they came back in twenty mins, when I sent to movie they sat and came back I am really scared now"
"Aunty I have an idea" Abhi said
"Back in college Manik used to be annoyed with Advith because he was over friendly with Nandini, actuall in college Manik was admirer of my sister I kind of expecting Manik proposal but what happened and why Rohitji came I don't know so when they are back now if Advith comes back again Manik may become possessive again"
"Manik never told us, ok now it's done what to do, will it work?" Manik mother asked
"Hope so" Abhi replied

Two days later when Manik is hall doing some work in his laptop, Nandini just brought his black coffee
Both heard her name and turned back found Abhi with Advith
Advith came and hugged Nandini "doll how are you? Wow you look more beautiful than before" he tugged her hair behind her ear
Manik got up fuming, he burned in jealousy he so want to tug her hair as such from years and he just did like such
"I am good Advith, when did you come back?"
"One week back I heard you married this nerd? What is this Nandu you would had better choices you know" she blushed
"Waisa hai Manik" he said and again turned to Nandini
Abhi hugged Manik and all sat down
Advith stick to Nandini "Arey I bought you these flowers I remember you love roses red roses" he gave
She smiled and took them
"Let me bring some drinks" she got up
"Wait let me help you" he ran with her even when she denied

Abhi is talking to Manik but Manik eyes glued to kitchen, Abhi smirked
"Don't you think Advith became more charming? See Nandu is smiling and talking to him, she never talks to us like that" he complained
Manik fist tightened he got up drank his coffee in hurry and came to kitchen which boiled his blood , Advith his holding her shoulders and helping her cook some snacks

Manik cleared his throat both turned "Manik see she is teaching me cooking" Advith beamed
"Come Advith let us sit"Manik offered
"You go we will come together" he ignored totally
Nandini is watching this she saw anger , she bit her inner jaw but couldn't figure out why, she always saw anger when Advith is around since college why she don't know

For two hours Advith played his part totally when he came out he breathed "Abhi you have no idea how scary is this Manik I was literally shaking he may kill boss this game is dangerous"
"Don't worry I will pay insurance for you" he said

Later in night when she came to room with flowers to keep in vase where daily Manik keeps, Manik stopped "No in this room they are not allowed if you want I will bring daily thousands of flowers for you" he said with anger
"Why? And ..... did something happened between you and Advith?"
"I don't like him" he just said blunt answer
"But he is good guy"
That was it for Manik "he always flirts with you, touches you and chupak raha tha I don't like that" he said with very low and deep voice
Nandini eyes twinkled her mouth opened in surprise
"I hate him because he does all those things which I can't do" he hit the desk hard she jumped took flowers and walked away

After Manik walked down Nandini laughed whole heartedly "so Manik Malhotra is jealous? This is news I never once thought of" she again laughed
Manik who came back to say sorry to her stopped when he heard her laugh he mesmerised, it's very rare to see Nandini laugh when he heard her self talk he blushed "she knows man"

She then took roses from vase "thousands of roses really? The rose which you used to keep in my locker was always beautiful memory Manik" she kissed the roses
Manik blushed as if she kissed him

Both that day slept giggling to themselves, dreamed about there togetherness.

Next day Abhi came to Manik office "Manik I want to talk to you"
"Ha tell I am free"
"Let us go to coffee shop" both reached ordered coffee
"Manik I know out of pity you offered help for Nandini, I know that clearly and we all are experiencing your silences, look bhai we are friends first I know how it will be, you have your own life too, and yesterday Advith asked me something which made me think again so let me put this straight "divorce Nandini and have your life back and marry someone who can make you happy don't worry about Nandini Advith said he loves her"
Manik heart stopped he felt spinning Abhi words gave him sick feeling
He ran to wash area and vomited Abhi came with him

Manik took ten Mins to become normal "are you ok?"
"Abhi you would have asked me my life rather than the nonsense you spoke, Nandini is my wife matter there ends"
"For what you married? To keep her away and the silence you both carry? She want love care and future which it's clear you both don't have Advith can give her clearly he made her smile he was clinging she was giggling"
Manik stood up broken the cup with boiling anger "what we have is non of your business and again if I listen that bastard name again I will burn you alive"
"Ooo so are planning to keep her as such just starving for love and waiting for you to take step which you clearly never want to take"
"Abhi you are crossing the line now"
"Wow really? Then why are you not crossing yourself?"
Manik stood silent how to explain it he don't know, after last night he is now ready to take that step but he is hesitant
"Accept it you are unfit to do so better give her to someone..." Manik slapped square on his face
"Nandini is mine and always will be mine don't you dare take her name again and yes I love her since I know the meaning of love she is always my first priority, about us you don't worry never again show your face to me this is end of us about that bastard if again I see or hear his name I swear on my Nandini I will burn him Alive " he warned and left
Abhi came back of him "they are on date at our old cafe college wala I sent them, she don't know but she might be enjoying"
Manik turned to him dangerously raging he hit wall continuously
Abhi held his hand to stop "are you mad?"
"I can't hit you which leads Nandini hurt so better shut your mouth and stay away from me" he roared with bleeding hand he sat in car and started

Manik reached his college campus like ragging bull he ran to cafe he with wet eyes searched cafe and found his Nandini without wasting time he ran to her

Nandini who is with her friends startled with sudden pull but when found Manik this shattered she got scared
"Manik what happened?"
"Nandini I love you, I love so much that it hurts now, when I came to know the emotion of love you were one made way into my life, when Bhai proposed for Marriage I disappointed you I know you are hurt but I swear Nandini I died zillion times in that days I even planned to kill myself, but god took him, I am guilty if that day I came out then today bhai would have been with us, may be my coward ness killed him, but again god gave me opportunity I didn't bring myself to let you go, so you know how forcefully I married you, that is why I gave us space I always want you to accept us you be the man in our relation to decide everything of us,yesterday when you talked to yourself and kissed our flowers I decided to take steps I swear Nandini today I was planning to do please don't leave me please I can't breath without you I suffocate, I feel like death even your silence is acceptable but I can't let you go" he with tears held her face and very gently kissed her

Nandini is totally numb, his confess was her long time dream his this tears were like fire of purity his words made her dizzy with emotions now his touch his kiss ignited fire inside her she kissed him back
"I love you Manik I love you more than my life" she said with heavy breathing
Manik smiled but he lost balance and fell down he lost concussion

Nandini with help of friends took him to hospital
"Don't worry he is already because of extreme stress he lost consciousness he is fit and fine now you can see her" whole family took breath

Nandini came in," how dare you to pull such stunt on me? How dare you?" She cried hitting him
He laughed took her and kissed her passionately
"Fuck the silence and crossroad Nandini let me have you totally to myself" he almost begged
"Who stopped you idiot? I long back said ok I am ready to share" she again cried
He again laughed " I am like always stupid, lock the room and come I can't waste a second now"
"Shut up first get well soon then in our room"
"No" he shouted and locked the room took her in hospital bed while his whole family is outside even Advith and his wife too

That night doors didn't open, Malhotra requested hospital authorities leave them alone and they left home, next day evening both came home with giggling and glowing faces

Seeing Advith Manik lost control and was about to pounce him his wife came between "bhai please! We married long back we even have a son, this was all Abhi plan to make you realise that you need to man up that's all forgive him" she said in one go

Abhi came forward but kept his mother infront him "Manik you both needed this push but I didn't know that you are this crazy and fattu same time"
Manik almost took him but he ran away Manik too followed

All laughed Nandini with blush ran to her room and took shower, came down and attended guest everyone are happy for them,

Evening Manik and Abhi came totally tired they ran twenty kilometres straight finally Abhi got beating teared lip, black eyes injury on elbow punches on stomach what not

That night after taking long bath Manik relaxed, he came down talked normally to Advith family, when all settled in hall to talk more Manik is desperate to have his wife back, he checked every one no one is ready to leave so got up
"Nandini can you please give me my laptop I need to check mails" he signalled to go up
She with shy nodded no "it's on table Manik"
"Manik with pout "I need water"
"Here" she gave glass
"Nandini I want tablets"
She was about say something all shouted "Nandini he want you so go please-already"
She blushed and embarrassed Manik too blushed but he took Nandini and kept on his shoulder ran away to his room

After that Manik became too bold and Nandini too started outspokenness, they went to world tour for an year, then planned for kids, they had son named him Rohit, he was apple to everyone then they got twins a boy and a girl Nandini wanted more but Manik said no he don't want her to go for more pain

Life of crossroad never occurred again, as they always kept their heart feeling before.
