Murthy is upper middle  class family, he has two children Cabir and Nandini, he has small printing press, he is adequate in what he have, they have neighbours Malhotra

Malhotra have only son Manik, he invested in some small company when he became friends with Murthy he invested in press too. Being neighbours and now partners they became close,

Children go to same school Cabir and Manik are one year senior than Nandini they became friends soon, both boys used to annoy Nandini, Manik always make fun and laugh

After two years on accident Manik last his parents, Murthy took him to his family wholeheartedly, then Manik became family

But everything changed for Manik, he became more responsible and calm, all his stubbornness arrogance and fun left him. He daily will go for jogging in  return brings milk packets, he helps Murthy in household works like bringing vegetables groceries even helps him in cleaning his scooter

Murthy and his wife always denies him to do any work but he never stopped doing, Cabir many times asked him to have fun with him but things didn't change after an year all got habituated.

When he turned to 15 he even started to help Murthy in press works after school work completed. He always did hard work studies and sports so that he can get entered to university and get job soon

That doesn't mean Murthy's showered less care and love anytime, all always treated him equal to Cabir, daily he used to get coffee and breakfast then his lunch box would be ready, evening for him daily snacks would be hot, dinner was always family matter. They always do together, late night if he works on studies Nandini brings him milk or black coffee.

Manik never let Nandini enter his room when he is present, he never ever visits her room without any emergency, when he teaches or helps any way he makes it in hall , he always maintains distance with her.

Manik thinks that Murthy as God gave him a family when he lost one, so now it's his responsible make everything comfortable for them he never wants to be burden for them emotionally financially and physically so he does all those works to make his presence less burden to them,

About Nandini, she was and is always his priority why he too don't know but when things became this complicated he made sure himself be distant and make its clear so that never any complications occur.

Murthy made clear to Manik that his father invested in his press so now he is his equal partner, his money always safe and whenever he needs any he will sure provide him with and for all his necessities it's duty as he as with Cabir and Nandini so never think otherwise. Manik just listened and left never asked anything so Murthy every year his share of profits deposited in bank on his name

When they have to join in college Murthy asked both Cabir and Manik about their plans Cabir want to go to city, where as Manik want to go to local college, Murthy forced Manik too should go with Cabir but he didn't give in so Manik is at home and Cabir went to city

After six month one day Murthy got health issue and joined in hospital he got some BP fluctuations along with some stomach issues, daily Manik is sleeping at hospital as doctors suggested to keep him hospital for ten days, Mrs Murthy day time and Nandini is in her tenth standard so she is cooking and going to school visits him in the evening.

That day is Sunday so Nandini said she will stay for two hours with her father so her mother can take some rest and Manik can do his own work. When Manik reached home she called her mother to send her some books so that she can complete her assignment while sitting here in hospital

Mrs Murthy being busy with some cleaning she asked Manik to take her books from her room and delivery them to her, Manik with hesitation turned her room and found it too girly he smiled and came to her writing table and was about to take her books his eyes caught his name in a book which is kept open on table.

He read it with curiosity
"Manik doesn't smile today too, he became too serious with life but hurts me more, why have to be work so hard? Why does he have to hurt his fingers like that when I got one it hurt like hell I could only cut one finger and I got tears and here he got three fingers hurt why can't god give all his pain to me? Why? Sometimes I want to hug him and say it's ok Manik cry and move on don't be this hard on yourself but he maintains distance and this distance gives me much more pain, why god? Why only him?"
Manik saw some blood stains on paper his heart burnt his eyes moisten he got some unknown emotions he closed book took it with him along with her books.

Manik gave books to her, he came sat in park and opened her personal dairy
He started reading it explained the way she cares about him, the way how much it hurts to keep loving him but unable to do anything about it, she even wrote that for life long she will not express or act on her feelings towards him she is like candle who burns and reburns in his love

The way she hurt herself emotionally or physically for him was making him bleed his heart. Every pain he felt in his heart was made her shed tears even never ever he let anyone know with his silence it made him wonder how deep she understands him and how much she longed for him

His ice cold heart felt warmth of her care and love which melted, "what should I do God? If everything were in my hand I would have run to her and kissed soul out of her to myself , why god why did you make everything this difficult for me? For her? For us? Why? The way she is hurting herself is insane what do I do to make things correct how?" Manik with frustration cried first time after his parents death.

After two hours he reached home, Mrs Murthy came out with all bags to go to hospital, Manik made bahana of washroom and gone to upstairs kept Nandini dairy in its place closed and came back

When they reached hospital Manik eyes met Nandini, she is smiling at him that made to flip his heart beat he smiled back, he talked to Murthy when it was time to leave for Manik and Nandini home his mind occupied a longing of hug her for once but he didn't instead silent he want to calm down then think about situations again then do something which is correct

After two days of deep thing about everything he decided to settle down first, he don't want to give Nandini any false hope because if he fails in life he can't hold her back to himself, secondly he don't want to spoil her reputation his uncles reputation and make their kindness as their biggest mistake of life.

Murthy came back from hospital things changed back to normal, everything is back normal. But things when turned he didn't notice nor recognised, he started becoming more responsible than before his only aim to get seat in EEE engineering bachelors, in his town university which is very tough, then he has to get a good job.

Other Things too changed like,
Daily after jogging Nandini gives him his coffee, aunty wakes up later, this is their routine from five years, but now being winter Nandini is rubbing her hands as she is cold, he sipped his coffee and observed it, he gave her coffee and asked her to take a sip as its hot she may feel better.

She is shocked with her big doe eyes she looked at him as if it is true "don't want?" He asked
"No I will have" she took cup from his hand and took sip she got so emotional this was one of her dream come true moment she got moist in eyes, he noticed "what happened? Did you get burnt?"
"No not at all" she smiled broadly
He took cup back and took sip to check if it is too hot, but it's not so he looked at her gave her to take some more she took it sipped it with blush this time
Manik was got glimpse of her blush his mind strikes he smiled inwardly understood what is happening but it's late he just smiled

After that things got more twisted, when she is around he does thinks which he didn't even recognise nor notice, which made it more complicated for Manik to stop himself like he once started cleaning her lips which had sauce while eating pasta she shivered with his touch and he lost in her shivering lips, Manik than ran-away not knowing what to do

It is his parents death anniversary today, Manik is on terrace alone watching stars he misses them a lot but the pain of loosing them is gone, he accepted the truth and made peace with it now, Murthy takes him to temple and does the ritual then make him serve to needy people food, at night he will just have a glass of lassi then comes to terrace when Cabir was there both would talk about his parents, but today he is alone

Nandini came to check on him, she don't want to disturb him so when she is returning he called her back
"Sit with me I don't want to be alone everytime Cabir used to company me"
"Do you miss him?"
"I do but happy for him, he want to go then it's happy thing to go"
"But you are alone"
"You are here nah" he said casually but her poor heart skipped a beat
"I want to become electrical engineer, I want to own a generation plant in future before that I will earn a job, what do you want to do?"
She looked at him "I too want to be an engineer same as you..... and bhai but appa and amma wants me to become accountant"
"So what you decided?"
"Doing engineering" she said nervously
He smiled broadly will you join me in my university?" He asked with hope
She beamed happily "yes"
"Then from tomorrow morning I will teach you maths physics and chemistry after coming from jogging for one hour be with books at dinning table but I will be so strict" he said with serious tone
After looking at her for a moment seeing her happiness he felt he is loosing himself so got up "let us go down" she want to spend more time with him but having no choice she too came back

From next day he started teaching her daily, Manik completed exams, Cabir came back as it is holidays family is happy with Cabir pranks and fun, Manik for three months he worked hard with Murthy in press inspite of Murthy strict warning to have fun in holidays, seeing him this stubborn Murthy couldn't do anything

Results came Cabir want to go back to city but Manik joined in university in his town, he got good rank and it's government seat he even refused to stay at hostel as it is far from house Murthy advices to. So Murthy bought him new bike Manik refused to take it but Mrs Murthy scolded him saying "Manik if you are stubborn always I won't spare it beware of me better without fuss you take keys and go to college happily" seeing her this strict he accepted it. Nandini is so happy

This one year Manik made strict rules for Nandini to study he used ask her questions randomly while eat dinner, watching tv, or doing other works too, if she don't answer he used ask her only one question "don't you want to join my university?" That was it for her to work hard.

When it is her exam Manik took her to Center, he instructed her how to be stress free and complete her exam he said he will be waiting for her, she became happy. When she completed and came home he asked her write the paper again and checked the marks she may score he felt satisfied but waiting for result

When results came Murthy suggested her to join in Cabir college which made Manik and Nandini face fell but Cabir who came for holidays refused saying she can't stay in those hostels and travel that long in local bus for college it is better she join in town

When admissions were going on Nandini marks matched for Manik's university standards she was so happy same with Manik, Murthy felt happy he didn't expect Nandini will be this good  at entrance exam

Nandini got admission in his college both were so excited, when college started Mrs Murthy said to Manik at breakfast "Manik keep an eye this girl she is always clumsy and get hurt here and there I will be always worried for her, and she is bit lazy too so take care of studies as always for me, anyways you both go together and return back never let her roam and get spoiled I heard university life makes girl spoiled more"
Manik felt guilty as he is reason she gets hurt always, and excited listening that she comes with him on bike daily for three years made his life more happy.

Manik took her to college, he felt it's dream, Nandini is on cloud 9, when raging was going on Manik came to his seniors and requested to spare her they asked is she his girlfriend? He smiled and blushed they understood and left saying she is there sister from now on things went good

Daily morning they read together, he helps her doubts, then get ready and goes to college, at canteen they talk for while and eat with their friends, waits for each other, eats some snacks on way returns home this became a habit

Months passed, Manik got an offer from his professor for helping him in work he will pay, Manik want to do it so he came to Nandini
"Professor asked me to work with him, he will pay me 4000 I need to work for two hours evening"
"That's great"she is happy for him
"But how about you?" He is worried for her
"I will wait for you in library daily I won't go anywhere till you pick me" she smiled shyly
Manik couldn't control he cupped her face and kissed her forehead "I know you won't leave me"
She blushed, that day Nandini is so happy

After some days Nandini offered helping hand librarian she happily agreed. She used to organise books, read some books till Manik comes to pick her. Murthy first denied about extra work he said Manik to enjoy his youth but Manik smiled it off.

Years passed; one day Manik heard Murthy taking about Nandini marriage, he is planning to Marry Nandini after her graduation, he started to panic "what if they found any good alliance? What if he takes time to settle? What if he get rejected by Murthy?"questions started eating him up.

Cabir and Manik completed their graduation, Cabir applied for Ms in London, Manik want to settle down, so applied for jobs and he started writing competitive exams for government jobs, Cabir forced Manik to come with him to London he denied saying he can't stay away from family no matter what, Murthy gave him the accounts book and showed him his share in press and asked him to go and have bright future along with Cabir with out any financial problem for him but Manik is adamant

Nandini came to him "what happened?" Manik asked
"You can go with bhai, it will help you to fulfil your dream to have a generation plant soon"
"I have dream but is it feels good if I now leave uncle and aunty to built it? Is it ok if I leave you and go?"
"You can always return back"
"Who knows if I loose everything only for dream then will I be happy?"
"What is there to loose? Papa and amma will always be there for you"
"And you? Will be mine when I return back?" He asked anxiously
Nandini looked at him with astonishment
"Uncle want you to get you married after this year" he said slowly
She got tears she couldn't hold back they dropped on her cheeks Manik is not less he sniffed
"Sorry I can't go and please don't ask me something which I can't do that hurts" he explained
She ran to her room, listening to her marriage made her out of control, she didn't understood his inner meaning

When Manik lost his parents she felt his pain she too cried for him many nights, when she started caring for him she just thought as care but it turn out that his silence and his ice cold behaviour towards her dragged her towards him, when it turned to love she too don't know, years passed, she determined to be his one side love for life time, she was content with showing care towards him, she was one who took care of his needs always, if he see his note book is about complete pages she keeps a new one on his table, if she sees his socks are worn out she keeps new one asking her mother, she used to organise his books on table, dresses in cupboard, bed sheets and room too.

His coffee is only her duty, his snacks are her love showing mediators, but everything changed for her when he gave her coffee of his own to take a sip, then on she found something changing between them, when he shared his dream she felt spaecial about herself she started feeling like this is her dream come true

Now after theses many years , when Manik said about marriage she felt like some one stabbed on her heart she couldn't control, all her illusion of dream come true as shattered she cried a lot that night

Next day morning when Manik returned from jogging he sat down "will you work with me for my dream?"
Nandini looked at him in confusion "what does that mean?"
"I want you to be always walk with me in each step of my dream get ready to prepare with me to write exams to get same job as me  from tomorrow" he said with smile
She didn't get what he said whole day she is just thinking what is the meaning of that?
Next day Manik brought books "I didn't get what you said" she asked still in confusion
Manik smiled mischievously "just read when you understand give me answer, and I know the defined answer too" he forwarded book

After two days when she came home and having her coffee she again repeated Manik words she got goosebumps with excitement she again analysed them she felt she couldn't think more with shy feeling, she blushed like idiot. When dinner was served Nandini couldn't be normal, she felt her heart is beating like drums, she is shivering with excitement her brain is clouded with thoughts Manik observed her, got cautious as she is just playing with food

Later at night he asked her while going back to their rooms, "what happened?"
She blushed he got confused
"Yes" she said and ran to her room in jet speed
Manik got confused stood there at her direction when he is walking to his room he repeated yes? For what? Then his mind strikes six, he bheemed with happiness "yes" he repeated again and again

Cabir got admission in London university, he is going next day Manik couldn't hold back that night he came to Cabir
"So you are leaving?"
"Don't be grumpy I am saying it still come with me you can get in Feb admissions we will rock there"
"I can't live without Nandini if I come with you to London, uncle may get her married" he said calmly seeing his expressions
Cabir looked at him is surprise "saala! I thought I should be one to suggest your name for alliance when papa start searching for her one, you had balls to say this now" he hit his stomach
"You are going may be next month my results come and I will get job then I will talk to uncle so I need to tell you face by face not on phone so here I am"
"So you guys are thing? From when on? Why I am not known?"
"No we didn't I want to ask uncle first"
"What if she refuses?" Cabir raised his eye brow
Manik blushed like fool "let her then I will be glad to enjoy flirting and all the process of making her say yes"
"So many plans and so much confidence?" Cabir teases
"Manik Malhotra charms are undeniably sexy Cabir she too can't stop herself" Manik winked
Cabir laughed "after these many years I found my friend back I think she is best for you" Cabir hugged him happily.

Manik got job as assistant engineer in one of power generation plant, he came home with appointment, he looked for Nandini, he didn't find her so he came to her room it's empty, he ran  to terrace she is removing dry clothes as it's about to rain Manik reached her,
"I got job, shall I ask your hand from uncle?" He asked holding her both hands
Nandini got tears her lips curved to smile tears are uncontrollable Manik too got moist
"Will you?" He is anxious
"Yes" she said
He hugged her tight to his heart for first time she cried more with happiness
"Shhhhh baba! Stop crying I know it's happy tears but I want to see you smile" he wiped tears she smiled trying to stand away but he did allow he hugged one more time then took her hand came down

Murthy just came from press he is slightly wet
Mrs. Murthy when saw them "why did you both got wet? See all floor is dirty now go and change if not you will get I'll" she said worriedly
Manik laughed a little "uncle aunty today I got job I am appointed as assistant engineer in near by generation plant, my salary will one lakh per month"
"Wow that's great news finally you did it hope now you will enjoy your life more" he said hugging him tapping his back with happiness
"Manik god bless you with all success beta May god fulfil all your wishes"
"My wish can be fulfilled by only you both" he kneeled down infront of them folded his hands "uncle I want you to give me Nandini, I will always keep her safe happy, I will fulfil all her wishes, desire and dream I will never let you down please I beg you both to trust please"
Murthy made him stand laughed "as if I say no you will listen? Did you listen to me once? I said not to feel burden? Did you? I said not work enjoy? Did you? I said to go explore life and live at city did you? I told you to go to other countries did you? Will you listen now?" He asked sarcastically
Manik with blush nodded no
"See this shameless boy Madamji he is nodding no" Murthy complained
Mrs. Murthy laughed "so you both were together at back of us?" She asked with fake anger
"No no aunty just now I asked weather to ask her hand from uncle she cried and said yes" he said in hurry
Both laughed "what was that Murthyji sharing coffee from years? And that look when she asks him permission with eyes and his reply with or without smile? Don't you want to go to my college? Do you want to have job or not? That shopping days Murthyji she keeps on wearing he keeps on straight face finally when he smiles she takes that one Murthyji what does that means do you know anything about such?"
"Nah I don't know" he shrugged
Nandini took a step back of him as she is so shy
Manik kept straight face but couldn't stop his blush
"Manik Malhotra we know all we were planning for your marriage this year so when you asked me this formal let me say you  yes I am willing to handover your possession to yourself" he said
"Ok then I will call Panditji and fix a date" Mrs Murthy said
"Let Cabir come back, she too has exams now and I too will get time to prepare for marriage" Manik said
"If you spend a penny in marriage let me warn you I will cancel this marriage till agree and it's my ultimatum for you and I am very serious"
"Then let it be simple no need to spend money which you work that hard"
Madamji warn him it's my daughter marriage I have my dreams" he shouted in anger Manik huffed having no say

Mrs.Murthy made arrangements for punjabi wedding as Manik is punjabi, after two months of Nandini exams marriage held. Cabir came to attend the marriage, he was one to do all works this time as Manik is not allowed to do anything.

In this period Manik used to sneak to her room sometimes, bring her flowers talk to her about many things mostly about what she want and what is expecting from him, but she simply says what he likes are her favourite as she accustomed herself as such from years Manik is annoyed but what to do she is as such

After a grand marriage Murthy gifted them a house, car and tickets to Sydney for honeymoon Manik denied strongly but Murthy didn't listen so Nandini is taken to new house for grah pravesh rasm after that couple were left alone in new house

Manik came to Nandini who is preparing milk for him as it's daily her routine
"So now this is our house" Manik said keeping his chin on her shoulder holding her bare waist softly she shivered with his touch
"Yes"
"We are now alone"she blushed and nodded yes
"Do you need time?" He kissed her earlobe she blushed
"Do you?" This time he kissed her neck
"No" she can barely speak
He  lifted her arms "milk, drink them"
"Everything can wait but not me it took years of waiting for this moment" he came to bedroom placed her on bed he removed his shirt she is shy turned her face away
He hovered her "I can't hold back let me" he said while taking her lips she gave in

When he was showing her heights of pleasure she moaned "Manik" he got a electric golt ran his body "call me again" he said going deep she again cried out Manik that was the straw that broke he was wild all night she was screaming his name, it's like cycle going on and on till both exhausted physically.

Next day morning Manik watched Nandini getting up to get freshen up
"Nandini" he said as if he is praying her name
She turned to him she heard her name from him after so many years she got emotional came to his arms
He kissed her wildly
That's how their love expressed

After returning from honeymoon they came back to Murthy house saying they can't stay alone it's haunting them, Nandini got job and joined him in every step of his dream.

They had two kids both are boys Cabir settled in London got married too, Manik and Nandini always stayed blessed fulfilled their dreams too
