Nandini vedant is someone who can make a stone smile happily, she is happy spirit, notorious and beautiful she loves life to very extent. She completed her graduation, she loves her horticulture, garden is where she always feel she belongs to.

Nandini is daughter of great business man, Ankur, his wife Keerthi. She is having a twin named Nayna,

Nandini is brought by her grand parents they loves her to moon. She is been pampered the most.

First time Nandini is been replaced for Nayna when Nayna got sick and annual ball is been conducted. Being twins they have everything same and every Fiber same only near people can get to recognise them.

When Nandini is 14 years her grand parents explained about her birth and why her parents treated her differently is been said. She cried and understood her situation then on she started distancing herself from everyone.

Manik wolf is son of politician cum business tycoon Deeraj wolf. He is only son, next in line for everything his father owns. He is family friend with twins. His best friend is Harsh.

All four Manik Harsh Nayna and Nandini joined same college. Everything were going perfect. Until Nayna rejected Manik.

Nandini called Harsh but he didn't pick her calls. Having no choice Nandini got him to his house with help of people.

"She rejected me why? I love her a lot. Nayna my Nayna" he is barbering all the way crying. Nandini felt heart broken. She cried too.

"When we first met in annual party you stole my heart from that moment I am loving you, how can you say no to us Nayna how?" He cried again.

After placing him on bed, Nandini removed his jacket, his shoes, made him drink some lemon water, he sobered a little. But not fully, he started removing his dress Nandini bought him his shorts to wear, "have them" she stood infront of him.

Manik is relieved as he didn't cross path with Nandini again after that incident, he is thankful that she is bidding very well. He never tried to know about her as he is scared that she might spoil his chance with Nayna.

It's business meeting all three friends gathered, "Did you find anything about Nandini?" Harsh asked Nayna.
"No I think Dadaji knows but he is not telling anything about her. I am really scared Harsh, on that she was in devastated state, she is not in her own clothes, face had some plasters on forehead chin and lip corner, some buries on her hands and neck, she was walking forcefully, I hope nothing as such happened as what I am thinking, I am scared to death" she cries softly. Harsha held Nayna tied and consoled her.

Manik is blank and scared too, he excused herself and ran away. He came to his room and locked it, started checking cctv portages.

Nandini running fast towards steps Manik coming and sweeping her from ground keeping her on shoulder is seen. He is scared to death, though his mind is telling me he is on denial but now when he saw it he couldn't take the reality. He fell on ground from his chair. He got call.
"Sir! My doubt was correct she is been raped I got sperms on her vaginal fluids, even her buries are from assault I am sending you the reports." Lady doctor said. Manik is dead silent she said hello hello and cuts the call as she didn't hear any response.

Manik finally came to grandfather of Nandini. "Dadaji where is Nandini?" He took lots of courage and asked with shivering tone and looks down in guilt.
Nandini grandfather slapped Manik with such force that Manik fell faraway from his place. Manik looked shock and dead. "You touched my bachi? How dare you? How could you? What did you think no one will kill you?" He punched him on his gut. Manik groaned in pain.
"You disgusting pig you made her loose her everything?" He again punched him more hard.
"I am sorry, I was drunk"

"I love Nayna" Manik said with heavy breathes, his both side ribs broken already he knows that.
"What the hell?" Dadaji stopped in track with more shock.
"She rejected me, I was in agony, what I did I don't have idea, I made Nandini her replacement and toyed her" Manik got one more strong kick he screamed this time but didn't stopped "next day I accused her saying she took advantage of my state. She tried to make me realise but I was adamant" Manik finished.

A gasp sound echoed the room and both men turned found Nayna standing there with tears pouring out her palm closing her mouth, she is shattered and shocked. Manik is now disappointed in himself more.

Before anyone can say anything mobile rang Manik picked it, "your father is been joined in hospital you are needed here now" his pa called
Manik with great difficulty stood up. "My father is in hospital" he said with pains. Dadaji took him to hospital. Manik father died. Manik got wrapped himself for his broken bones.

Manik life changed totally. He became business tycoon, politician, even a social worker. His guilt is killing him totally. He begged Dadaji to send him jail punish him more. Sometimes he beats himself and harms himself but nothing felt near to the guilt he is still in.

"Dadaji please I beg you tell me where is she" Nayna asked for hundredth time "she is not ready yet to face anyone" he answered as always
"Let me atleast talk once it's my wedding I want her to be my side, this guilt is killing me, let us atleast see her once" she begged while crying.
"She will oneday my child let her overcome her agony and her pain is something which we can never imagine"
"It's all my fault Dadaji"
"Never don't say such thing bachi never. It's only that boys fault no one else"

"No go do your work bachi go I will try once again if I can convince her for marriage attendance" he said while thinking.

Nayna is marrying Harsha, when Manik came to know about them dating already that is the reason why she rejected in first place made Manik horrified. He is lost, he came in between his friends love, not only that without thinking he took drastic step for that which ruined a life.

Now seeing Nayna and Harsh marrying he felt relief for atleast one thing. Those pity eyes of them always made him stay little away from them.

Nayna took almost two years to talk to Manik, seeing him in shallow looks and deep shit made pity him, she turned her back long back on him but she is now ok to just wish him or smile him formally.

Harsh story is different, he understood his friends mindset at that time but he can never do anything about it, he just maintained silence in matter as he saw guilt in his friends eyes.

Any punishment is to make person recognise their faults and realise the depth of pain they caused to other person. Manik is exactly in that situation. Harsh understood it. Even if he is in jail or live here in society didn't change anything. He is punishing himself in very harsh way.

Manik stopped attending any entertainment, he took oath to never consume any sort of alcohol, drugs or any toxic substances, he drowned himself in work, he never eats or sleeps properly, he always repents for breath. He daily prays for his death to come.

Nandini is different story. Nandini recovered physically, she started taking her life turn to better. But life thrown her into more shit when she got pregnant. She panicked totally. The pain she is feeling emotionally and mentally made complications in her pregnancy. Dadaji brought his wife to Assam where Nandini is living, she helped Nandini in delivery.

Nandini gave birth to a girl. She was planning to hate her daughter, but seeing her for first time Nandini life changed totally. She stole her agony pain and shit everything. She became her solemn.

Nandini name her Mahi. She became her life. She joined company of family here in Assam, raising her daughter. Only problem in her life is that she never want to return to West Bengal her home back again. Not even for her sister wedding.

Grand parents calls her daily, grandmother let them after Nandini learned how to manage her daughter. They all request her to comeback but she refuses always. She don't want to feel or see the pain she experienced once. She is unable to gather courage to step up again.

Her mobile rang, as always her daughter is one to pick it, she loves talking on mobile.
"Hello" the other person spoke

"Can ... can I speak to Nan.... Nandini?" The other voice spoke
"Sure you can but she is making my breakfast my favourite luchi." She replied.

"Can you pass mobile please sweety?"
"But I am small I can't walk that long let me call her" "ammu" she shouted.
Nandini came "ammu you got call" she gave mobile
"Hello" Nandini spoke she is having work in kitchen so she didn't look at number.
"Nandini" the other voice spoke
Nandini looked at the screen, she breathed heavy. "Nayna"
"Yes how are you? Is she your daughter?"
Nandini cried she felt a overwhelming feeling, Nayna too cried.
"I am sorry very sorry all this happened just because of me, I aware Nandu I didn't know all this will happen I was already in love with harsh that is why I rejected him, I am sorry"

"Thank you I am missing you come home. Mom too misses you secretly. She goes to your room and cry sometimes"

Nandini took hours in deciding to come for wedding. She couldn't let her sister suffer more than she already is, her grandparents always explained how Nayna is hurt in all this and how she is suffering for her.

Nandini came back  home. Everyone cried looking at her, even Keerthi. "Forgive me Nandini I am sorry I was blinding with pain I got from your actual mother. I intentionally gave you pain to satisfy my feelings, sorry I am shameless and horrible person sorry"
"It's ok masi" she hugged with tears. Nandini always dreamed for this whole life but now when she is experiencing she felt empty, may be she is emotional less now.

Nayna is thrilled seeing Mahi. They mingled instantly. Mahi has same tastes as Nayna. They laugh same too. Carefree. Nandini felt better.
"See I told you, you will be happy seeing them" Dadaji said with tears.
She hugged both and cried.

It's wedding day, Nandini is dressed in simple saree, she matched herself with her daughter. She is calm standing away from group while her daughter is enjoying everyone attention. "Like father always" she said to herself. From childhood Manik always got attention. He was charmer. Now she is.

"Nandini" a shivering voice called her, she knows who it is without turning back, she is tensed, stiff with shivering body she turned. Her eyes widened "you came?" He spoke with tears
She didn't reply, the Manik which she know is nothing now, short hair, bags under eyes, skinny, became old already, wearing some Kurtha, slightly rough beard. He is almost unrecognisable. She felt as if he is someone else. She frowned
"Ammu" came Mahi running hugging legs. Nandini came out of trance and picked her up. "Can I play with those flowers? They are beautiful and smell like you?" Nandini smiled and said yes
"Oooo my flowers let me come" she skipped from her mothers hand.
"Is she your daughter?" He asked in very low voice
She just nodded her head. "She is cute and beautiful"
Nandini heart started beating rapid. She just blinked in horror.
"Can we talk for a while I promise I won't hurt you if you are not comfortable please don't force yourself" he is looking with hope
"May be..... later" she said with heavy breathing. He didn't say much just nodded with hope and left.

After wedding Manik waited for Nandini, she having no choice came sat in front of him with shivering body.
"How are you?" He asked softly.
"Good" she is mustering courage.
"Good! Where to start I don't know, nothing can make things better for what I did to you, I was animal cruel and disgusting, May be more worse. A simple sorry won't do any justice, sometimes I think of surrendering myself to law, but I just want to say something's to you so back off finally when I got chance let me do that after this talking. I am sorry Nandini, I really do, I repent each and every second of that day. I have no rights to speak or do such things to you. You came to help me for my pain, and pounced on you like animal which I am. Don't ever forgive me but if possible forget everything happened, move on with life and be happy. Never doubt your abilities and your skills. You are always wonderful women. Your smile is something die for. Wonderful friend too. Don't waste a breath for me. Be happy please" he sat on floor on knees and held her feet.

Nandini got tears, she don't know what to feel or what to say, she stood still. "Please get up Manik" she moved away. He got up, he don't want her to feel bad in any way possible
"I forgive you"
"No no never please never say or do that, when I myself can never forgive me you should never even try to forgive me what I did is unexplainable crime and I have done sin, punishment is only way to make me live. Never forgive me" he said in horrified feelings
Nandini looked at him with surprise and shock. He is true with his words. "Your guilt is your punishment Manik" she got tears. "I forgive you because you gave me my Mahi, she is my liye in my dark life. She is ray of sunshine in my life. Her innocent smile is something which I can drown for life time, you gave her. And I am thank ful for that. I never had a proper childhood Manik I don't want my daughter to suffer too. So I don't want to keep anything in my heart and act happy for her. I want to be actually happy. So for that I have to forgive and forget everything and everyone. You too move on in life Manik"
"She is such one, you are lucky. May be god graced me forgiveness, even she is my daughter I will never let anyone take her from you, nor I will ever try to come near you both but please let me know if ever you need someone to help you with still I think you should punish me"
"No not necessarily punishment can change mind of the crime, realisation alone is enough. Seeing you this way I know how much you are suffering. Let it go, forgive yourself Manik" he smiled weakly. Looking at Nandini and his daughter for bit more than required he with tears left.

Manik is his room, covers with shawl, he is feeling cold, and tired. Now when he expressed all his words to Nandini he felt that he is having no work in this world, he called his lawyer and made will of his property. He made everything on Nandini and wrote a letter.
"Nandini!

I know this is bit waste of energy and May be you may feel that I gave money in replacement of pain, but no. I don't have anyone other than you and Mahi. So write everything to you. If you feel it's not worthy then donate them in name of Mahi.

Kash I could hold her for once but .....

He folded it, gave it to lawyer. He left after collecting papers. Manik felt relaxed and tired.

Two days later Nandini grandfather got call from wolf mansion saying Manik is been admitted in hospital as he collapsed.

All  vedant family came to hospital along with Nandini and Mahi.
"He is not responding, May be he is willing to die, May be he lost hope on life"
Nandini heart sinked. She still loves him passionately as she loved him from childhood. He mistook her sister for her. She knows that but she never got chance to explain. He always thought Nayna whenever they encountered in parties in childhood, as she was introduced as Nayna in every party, seeing in college Nayna, he thought it's her who he had feelings for, from childhood.

Nandini new that when he said that before proposing to Nayna. Nandini was speechless how to explain this to Manik she don't know so she stood silent. But when time came to tell him truth, fate played cruel play. Everything collapsed.

"Manik! Listen to me please" Nandini said sitting besides him while he unconscious. Holding his hands she spoke with tears "I love you Manik, I always do, it's me whom you loved since childhood. Wake up once let me clarify this please"
"Mahi needs you not property Manik get up" she cried more.

Manik is in coma, daily Nandini and Mahi visits him, she does her works and Mahi plays around him, Manik sometimes moves his fingers or hands but never opened eyes.

Life is always cruel to Nandini this time she want fight with it. Meanwhile Nandini real mother came back.

Nandini actual mother and her masi are twins, they both loved Ankur without each other knowledge. Not able to recognise who is who he slept with both thinking she as Keerthi. When things came out when both are pregnant, Ankur is horrified and said he only loves Keerthi and he just want her.

Heartbroken Kanika left house after giving birth to Nandini leaving her to them. That is why Keerthi hates Nandini existence. She loves her husband but Nandini reminds her how he slept with her sister and made her pregnant. She hates her.

Nandini knows this, so she started calling Keerthi masi from then on.

After six months of waiting finally Manik woke up. "Bastard how dare you to put me in pain again, have you lost your mind that you felt like life is over?
