She huffed and nodded which instantly made him smile and he just pecked her lips which widened her eyes, she slapped his arms lightly making him chuckle..She smiled and kept her head on his chest again while he started doing his work..

Its been an hour since he started working and he just forgot that he was having his Love on his lap, who didn't bothered to disturb him during his work as she knew how much dedicated he is when it comes to his profession..

She was sleeping like a baby clutching on his shirt..She was looking so cute that he ended up in kissing her cheeks making her smile, which showed she can even understand his touch during her sleep..He smiled and picked her up in his arms and got up and walked towards the room which is inside his cabin. He uses this room whenever he does late night works since he will be sleeping in the office itself, and sometimes to have a chit chat with his siblings when they visit him..

He kept her on the bed and joined her making her snuggle to him more. He smiled and took her in his embrace and kissed her forehead and closed his eyes..Soon he too fell in a deep slumber..

While on the other side, Raj finished his work and knocked on Harshvardhan's cabin. He entered after getting permission..

Raj: Hey Dad..

Harsh ( sighed ): Raj, how many times should I tell you not to knock at my door, you know you don't need permission..

Raj ( grinned ): Of course I know, but I don't want the clients to think that Harshvardhan Malhotra didn't teach manners to his sons..And so I won't stop my habits..

Harsh ( hid his smile ): Tera kuch nahi ho saktha..Ab bol..kya kaam hai..

Harsh ( smirked ): Zamana tho badal hi gaya..shadi se pehle hi honewala pati ke office thak pohchi aur mere pothe tho kaam ko chodke apni would be patni ki khayal mein kho gaya..

Raj: Aap bhi na Dad..chalo..hum jaakar milthe hai..mujhe nahi lagtha Manik aaj usse chodega..isilye madam abi thak aapse milne nahi aayi..

Harsh grinned and both the father-son duo walked to Manik's cabin and knocked at it..but no response..it continued till 5 minutes..They lost their patience so Raj used the finger print lock and the door flung open, but they entered to see an empty cabin..Raj always use the finger print lock to open Manik's cabin as whenever he sleeps in the office, he wouldn't go back to home so Raj had to bring his clothes to the office and since it will be locked somebody should open it from outside which is why this lock was created..

Harsh ( confused ): Ye dono kaha chale gaye..

Raj: Let me check the whole cabin Dad..

Harsh: Raj, lets check Manik's bedroom..what if he is talking with her from there..

Nandini ( murmured ): Oh God, its 6 P.M..And I am still sleeping..

SHe thought of getting up but then suddenly she widened her eyes..Of course she would..Who wouldn't get shocked after seeing your would be husband's Dad and grand dad standing in front of you with a wicked smile and that too when you were sleeping with him..

Nandini ( gasped ): Pops..Chote Daadu..

Harsh ( smirked ): Hello to you too Princess..

She gave an embarrassed smile but then realized she was still in his arms..

Nandini ( whispered ): Manik..Manik..get up..

He stirred in sleep..

Hearing it she widened her eyes as it was audible to both Raj and Harsh..They were chuckling at her..

He opened her eyes slowly but after seeing her he just hid himself in the crook of her neck..She just widened her eyes and so the elders..

Nandini: Manik..what are you doing..get up..

Manik ( huskily ): Your skin looks so beautiful..

Suddenly Manik's eyes widened and he turned back to see his Dad and Daadu standing with a smirk on their faces..He looked at Nandini who was struggling to get out of his grip..They both stood up immediately and looked here and there..

Harsh: Acha..but we didn't know that you sleep in the crook of her neck..

The men looked at each other and started laughing while Manan stood there confused..

Nandini ( smiled ): Of course I am my Appa's princess, but today Appa has some work in his office, so he couldn't join me..( Nandini's thought: And I am thanking Aiyappa for it, warna Appa would have seen Dad and all my plans would have failed..My dream would remain unfulfilled )

Dharmendhr: Oh, I see..So..doctor, why don't we become friends..?

Nandini ( hid her tears and smiled ): You are really unique..Actually, according to me My appa is my best friend along with my mother..I can say anything to my Appa..We share everything, so being your friend wouldn't be bad..

She started moving but then Dharmendhr stood there in shock..She was right..somewhere down the line in his heart, he wanted her to be his daughter..She was looking like his daughter for him, a daughter who would take care of him, who would come and tell whatever happened in her life on each and every day, a daughter for whom he could even set the world on fire if somebody dares to hurt her, a daughter for whom he will cry when he gets her married..

Dharam ( smiled ): I never had a daughter..all of them are sons..its not like I don't love them, I can give my life for them but I always wished for a daughter..I have heard that how a man gets happy when he gets a daughter in his life..A mother is always someone who knows to pamper her children, especially boys..Maa ka ladla kehthe hai..the same thing applies to fathers too..A father and son will always behave formally or to make fun of each other but a daughter and her dad is like something magical..they can be friends, crime partners, be a solace to each other, would take care of them openly..That's why they were called daddy's princesses..And I too wished to have a princess..Maybe, I saw that princess in you, which made me ask your friendship..

By the time he has finished, she was in tears which she quickly wiped it before he could see..but he did see it..

Dharam smiled widely and kept his hand on her head which increased her smile.." Beep " this sound brought them out of their trance..It was Nandini's mobile..She smiled after seeing the caller ID and answered it..

Nandini cut the phone to look at Dharam who was smiling at her..

Nandini ( smiled ): Acha uncle..main chalthi hoon..mumma intezaar kar rahi hai..

Dharam ( got sad ): Teek hai..phir kab milenge..?

Nandini ( smiled ): You really gonna miss me..?
