The Kitchen

Manik saw Nandini stirring the curry which was on the flame. He took the spoon from her immediately.

Nandu ( annoyed ): Kya kar rahe ho Manik..?

Manik ( glared ): Pehle tum batao, tum yaha kya kar rahe ho..?

Nandu: Dikhtha nahi ho kya Manik ?

She was very annoyed and angry at manik for cooking..and upon that he was about to open the lid with his bare hands and that would have burnt his hand..but Manik Malhotra didn't even realize it yet..

Manik ( sarcastically ): Nahi..mere aankhen mein bandh kiya tha na, isilye mujhe kuch bhi dikh nahi rahe hai..

Nandu ( smiled sarcastically ): He he..joke tha ? Par mujhe achi nahi lagi..

Manik ( glared ): Mujhe bhi..ab yeh batao ki tum yaha kya kar rahe ho ? Tum mere kaam ke beech kyu aa gayi ?

Nandu ( dramatically ): Wow, mujhe nahi patha tha ki tum businessman se chef ban gaya..congrats..

Manik ( glared ): Nandu..

Nandu ( helplessly ): Kyu kar rahe ho ye sab ?

Manik ( avoided eye contact ): Mujhe..mujhe acha lagtha hai..ab tum bhi mums jaise baath math karo..aur jao yaha se..

He was continuously pushing her out of the kitchen..But she caught hold of his arms and looked in his eyes..

Nandu ( softly ): Ye sab Bhayyus ke kehne par kar rahe ho na ?

He stopped pushing and looked at her who was looking at him intently..he sighed in helplessness..she knew him and her brothers very well..

Manik ( cupped her cheeks ): You don't need to get guilty now..I am enjoying what I am doing..okay ?

Nandu ( sighed ): Manik, tumhe patha hai na tum yeh sab mein naye ho..cooking..yeh sab tumhare bas ke baath nahi hai..tum ye kabhi pasandh nahi kiya hai..aur jis insaan cooking mein naye ho, uske saath choto mote accidents hojathe hai..like cutting and burning fingers..aur jab ye sab pehli baar hotha hai na tab bohath dard hoga..math karo Manik..I am sure one day Bhayyus will accept you..they will accept us..ithna bhi bura nahi hai mere Bhayyus..aaj thak mere har zidd puri ki aur ab ye bhi hojayega par mein tumhe dard mein nahi dekh sakthi..please un...

Manik ( kept his finger on her lips ): Shh..relax baby girl..relax..mein jantha hoon ki tum mere bohat fikar karthe ho par iska mathlab ye nahi na ki Nandini Murthy harne walon mein se hai..nahi na ( she nodded in no )..So..uska life partner bhi barabar hona chahiye..isiliye mein bhi koi harne walon se nahi hoon..agar ye task mein chod diya tho mein tumhare layak nahi ban paoonga..mein tumhe kho jaoonga jo mein kabhi soch bhi nahi saktha..tumhare Bhayyus ke diye hue har task pura karoonga mein thaaki mein tumhe paa sakoon..

Nandu ( had mist in her eyes ): Fine..par tum koi oven made ya koi dessert bana dho..tho koi accidents nahi hoga..abhi dekho..you were going to open this lid with your bare hands..you would have burnt your hand..no handles, no clothes..you can't take like that Manik..isiliye..

Manik ( smiled sheepishly ): Wo mein..curry was going to get burnt..isiliye I thought..

Nandu ( sarcastically ): You thought you will burn your hand instead of curry, why to waste all these spices and vegetables..you will waste your skin and get it burnt..right Mr. Manik Malhotra..? Have you gone nuts Manik..bas ek curry keliye apna haath jalaoge ?

Manik ( smiled ): Tumhare liye wo bhi chalega..

She looked at him lovingly with tears in her eyes..Nothing mattered to him when it comes to her..if he has to burn his hand just to get her in his life then he is ready for it..She hugged him at once which he reciprocated back in equal favor with a sweet smile on his face..

Nandu ( still in the hug ): Maybe, I did something very good which pleased God in my previous life to get you in this life..

Manik ( grinned ): Or maybe, we were together in all our previous lives and God didn't want to separate us in this life too..

She smiled widely and broke the hug and he kissed her forehead

Nandu: So, what's the menu..Mr. Chef Malhotra..?

Manik: Its a secret baby girl..

Nandu ( pouted ): Fine..( then with excitement ) So how can I help you ?

He didn't say anything but just picked her up in his arms and made her sit on the slab..

Manik: You are going to sit her and watch me cooking..

Nandu ( in strict tone ): No Manik, I won't let you cook alone..you will..

Manik ( cupped her cheeks ): I will be careful..you can just warn me if I am going to do any blunders..okay ?

She saw him looking at her with a pleading face..She huffed and nodded..He smiled widely and pecked her lips and went away while she sat in shock first and then blushed and shook her head in disbelief..

Manik started cooking and she watched him in awe..She couldn't stop herself from falling for him more..She knew that nobody could love her more than he could love her..

But she felt guilty too since he was doing all these things only for her..

Their conversation was heard by Murthy brothers as they came to check on Manik just to know how honest he is in his task..Thank god they left before Manik pecking her or else they would have fried him in oil..:P

By 9 pm Manik was done with cooking and he was quiet impressed of himself but was nervous too..

Manik ( looking at his dishes ): I am done Nandu..

But instead of her reply he felt a towel on his nape..He turned in surprise and saw his Love wiping his sweat..He smiled like a fool seeing her care..

Manik: Nandu..ab bas bhi karo..

Nandu ( glared ): Ithna kaam kiya hai tumne and you are sweating profusely so I need to wipe it off..Now be quiet and let me do my work..

Manik's smile grew wide and he grabbed her waist..

Nandu ( gasped ): Manik, kya kar rahe ho tum..

Manik ( smirked ): Arey you are doing your work now let me do my work..

She sighed in disbelief and started wiping his neck..since he was wearing a vest it was easy for her to wipe..While he was in his favourite place..in her neck..

Nandu ( giggled ): Manik..I am feeling ticklish..chodo na..

Suddenly hi bit her neck making her hiss in pain and pleasure..he licked that spot to reduce her pain..But then she remembered something and she pulled away making him groan..

Manik ( annoyed ): Nandu..

Nandu: Manik, no hickeys..

Manik ( horrified ): What, but why..Don't I have the right ?

Nandu ( smiled ): Of course you have Manik, in fact only you have the right..but..

Manik ( softly ): But..

Nandu ( huffed ): Its a visible spot Manik..and its very difficult for me to hide it from others..and yesterday Mukti just caught it..

Manik ( smirked ): Acha..then what did you tell her ?

Nandu ( glared ): Wipe that smirk off your face Manik..I lied to her..you forced me to lie..I had to tell her that it was and Ant..

Manik ( opened his mouth wide ): You made me an ant..

Nandu: Tho sach bathaoon kya..

Manik: Haa..it isn't cabir..my family knew about us..

Nandu ( shouted ): What...?

Manik ( kept his finger in his ears ): Shh..nandu..you are going to spoil my eardrums..don't get tensed..they all liked you the moment I have told about you..remember the excitement mums had when I introduced you to them..it was because of that..I never had a girl in my life except my brothers' girlfriends..they are my best friends too..so they knew having you in my life leads to my life partner..and knowing that you are from Murthy family was just a cherry on cake for them..

Nandini got convinced but then she smirked at him..

Nandu: So I wasn't just a friend from the starting..

Manik cursed himself from saying it out but then smirked and pulled her more..

Manik: Haa..kyu..tum ho hi PYAR karne wli cheez..

She giggled and slapped his arm lightly making him chuckle too..

Nandu: Chalo..hum sabko bulathe hai..mujhe tho zor se bhook lagi hai..

He nodded with a smile and they both laid the table with food and called everyone..They sat for dinner with a shocked face as they couldn't digest that Manik actually cooked the dinner..There was Chole Puri and Pizza as he had only 2 hours so couldn't make more..but it was still a shock that Manik Malhotra could cook this much..They kept the first morsel in their mouth and looked at each other with widen eyes..

Manik ( curiously ): Kesa laga ?

Arpita ( shocked ): Mnau, tumne banaya yeh ?

Manik ( annoyed ): Ab kitchen mein sirf mein hi cook kar raha tha tho koi aur kese ban sakthe hai Arry mom..

Anjali ( still shcoked ): Sach mein..?

He sat with a grumpy face and didn't open his mouth to answer their questions..Nandini was sitting there with tears of HAPPINESS..

Cabir: Bhai, sach mein ye aapne banaya hai ?

Nandini saw Manik getting more grumpy and she just stopped her tears and thought of ending this shock games..

Nandini: Guys, enough of this " Sach mein " game..just tell him na..

Mukti came out of her trance first and stood up making everyone surprise..while she ran and hugged Manik and kissed his cheeks..

Mukti ( cutely ): This is sooooooooooo deliciousssssssss.......

Manik smiled hugely and kissed her forehead..and soon he was hugged by his 2 brothers and ManDy too..

Cabir: This was out of the world Bhai..

Dhruv: I soo loved it..sorry we were just shocked to reply..

Arya: I never knew you could cook this well..

Maddy: I am seriously going to finish the whole food..

Manik patted their heads and mouthed ' its okay ' ..They got back to their seats and his mums kissed his forehead which he returned by a cheek kiss..He was praised by his dads and Daadu too..but then he was looking at Murthy brothers , same was the case with nandini..The Murthys looked at each other and smirked..

Rithvik: This was unexpected Manik..

Viren: Exactly..

Sid: I mean, I thought it would be something we never have tasted..

Rudr: but this has turned to be something else..

Karan: Chole Puri..

Shivaay: And Pizza..

Om: Was really..

MaNan was sitting with worried faces..Nandini would have cried if she was alone after seeing her Bhayyus without any expression on their faces..

Asad ( SMILED ): delicious

Manik ( with sad face ): Really..

Nandini was damn happy and she sighed in relief but then she heard Manik's sad whisper and she knew he is in his dreamland just like how he reacted at their first kiss..

Om: Manik..

Manik ( low voice ): yeah I know I couldn't but trust me..

Asad ( kept his hand on his shoulder ): Manik..we said we liked your dishes..

That when he got the thing and his happiness had no bounds..

Manik: Seriously ?

Sid ( teased ): No we were joking..

Viren: Chup kar Sid..we are serious Manik..

He hugged Viren since he was sitting near to him which Viren returned back with a never ending smile..He was genuinely happy for his sister and Manik..Nandini could just admire them..While Malhotras were shocked to see Manik getting close with Murthys..

They finished their dinner with all kind of masthi and ManDy shared their( theirs and Nandini's) friendship stories with Malhotras..

At night..

Nandini was going downstairs since the youngsters planned to spend some time in the backyard..

Suddenly from nowhere she was pinned on the wall and she was kissed softly..She got shocked first and didn't respond back..He pulled from her and looked at her..

Manik: I am sorry for being hard..

She smiled and kept her lips on his and kissed him while he caught her waist and responded with more force and he picked her up and kept her legs around his waist..

He nibbled her lips like hell..and pinched her waist making her kiss..He took it as an opportunity and entered inside her mouth and played with her tongue while she could only moan..she couldn't even go with his speed..Finally he left her when he found she need to catch her breathe..

Manik ( kept his forehead on her ): I was so hard right..I am really..

Nandu ( kept her finger on his lips ): One more sorry and I wouldn't let you kiss me for a whole week..

He widened his eyes in horror..

Manik: What..you can't be serious..

Nandu: I am Mr. Malhotra..

Manik ( with a bad face ): Fine..

He was going to start his romance again but she stopped him..

Manik ( groaned ): Now what Nandu..

Nandu ( slapped his arms ): You are ready for this only..we need to be downstairs..they are waiting for us..

Manik ( nuzzled in her neck ): We will go after sometime..

Nandu ( smirked ): Nop..we are going now or else..I won't even let you touch me for 2 weeks..

Manik ( huffed ): Fine..but not before this..

Saying it he kissed her again but this time softly...
