When Avni finished her side of story she looked at MaNan, there was a brief silence and then she heard Manik sobbing, Nandini turned to him even she had tears in her eyes. Avni rushed to them

"Aap to kyu rahe hai?" and MaNan cried more hugging each other and she looked at them helpless

"Ok, ok" she took deep breaths

"Please roye nahi" she said but he'll they were not listening

Standing in between of them she yelled

"Maa- Dad stop crying for God sake!" this made MaNan stop and look a her.

She kneeled infront of them and hold their hands in hers

"You guys we have cried a lot this years but not now please" she looked at them and leaned closer

"Also it does not go with the image" she whispered making them laugh

"Promise me" she said forwading her hand for promise

"We will not talk aout all these bad memories but make good one, together" she looked at them with hopes and MaNan saw their 15 year old Avni in her

"Promise" they said joining their hands with her and Mnaik kissed both his ladies forehads as they smiled broadly

"Dad" Avni looked at Manik hesitantly

"Your.... your Mom, is she fin..."

"We just promised no bad memories" Manik said but there was sadness in his eyes but smile played his lips

The rest day they spen playing, cooking and being together. When Advay was back they played hide and seek and Avni and Advay found Manik and Nandini in between a heated kiss. Avni closed Advay's eyes and ran from there making Nandini blush and manik laugh.

Later in evening Avni taught Manik to bake a cake which the family finished in less than an hour. Manik had called few interior decoraters so that Avni can personalise her room. All she did was add book shelf in her already royal room. Nandini asked the designer to update her closet.

The next day at the breakfast table Manik saw Avni and Nandini changing looks and talking with eyes and Advay giggling silently.

"Kuch kehna hai?" he asked making Advay eat the omlett

"Yes" Nandini nudged Avni

"Kiddo" Manik called her name as she saw him, after years he called her that

"Haan Dad" she said

"You want to say something?" Manik asked

"Yes" she closed her eyes

"Will you not tell people that I am your daughter at work" she said with close eyes

"Please" she gave a puppy face

"Why so?" Manik asked

"Please, please, I want to learn things if they get to know then they will treat me differently, I don't want that" she pouted

"Fine" Manik said and she smiled wider

"But" he took a pause and Nandini looked at him expecting this but, how can Mnaik Malhotra not do what he wants

"I will need all your documents" he said making Avni confused

"Kyu?" she asked

"To do some changes" he said and removed an envelop from his coat pocket

Avni took te envelope and then read the document

"When did you..?" she said tears beeming in her eyes seeing the adoption papers

"The day we asked you to leave, we were actually planning to gift you these" Nandini said

"And now, I want you to be known as Avni Manik Malhotra offically" Manik said as Avni grined

"Ok" she said and Manik smirked, he got up

"So people get ready, I'll drop all, Nandini meri tie bandh do please" he said and walked to his room, Nandini following him

"Finish your omlett Advay" she said before she left

Something suddenly hit Avni

"Hey what about the office thing" she yelled as Manik assended the stairs

"Will think about it kiddo" he said without turning making Advay and Nandini laugh

"Dad!" Avni goaned as smile spread on Manik's face, he love when she says that

"Dad!" Advay copied her and when she looked at him he laughed

"Oh little devil" she launged to grab him as he ran and both chased in the hall laughing and giggling

Avni finally got hold of him and then carried him to the breakfast table

"Chalo, breakfast khatam karo" she started tomake him eat as he gve her information abot the card making competetion going to take place in his school.

Nandini was tieing his tie and he stood comfortably standing his hands wrapped around her waist

"So kya socha?" she asked

"Not happening" he said making a 'tuch' sound

"Manik woh tumhare saye se pare kuch sikhna chati hai toh let it be na" Nandini said making his tie

"Saye se pare what?" Manik made a bad face

"Stop hanging out with Khushi di" he added and earned a wack from Nandini on his arm

"I mean she wants to do something so don't keep her under your shadow" she said neating his collar

"I am not shadowing her" he said as Nandini turned to take his coat

"Aur vaise bhi usse uss office mein kaam karne ki zarurat nahi hai" he said earning a glare from Nandini

"All I mean is I need my intern" he said

"What a jealous bitch you are Manik" Nandini laughed and he jerked her to him caging her totally

"I have seen you when Shivay Bhai treats your Kiddo like baby" Nandini laugh

"I am not jealous" Manik made a bad face and Nandini laughed more

"Bahut hasi as Rahi hai haan?" Manik said and bite her cheek and she giggled with his action

"Haan?" he laughed biting her earlobe and she laughed with him

"Manik no shaitani" she said holding his face as he tried to kiss her

"Aab baat suno" she walked behind her and help him wear his coat

"Manik remember even you didn't wanted to be under the shadow of your Dad and isliye you started your independent company, aaj Fab5 kaha hai woh tumhare aur baki sabki hardwork ka natija hai, tumhare Dad ya lineage ka isme kuch nahi hai" she paused and foamed his hairs with her fingers

"Jab humari beti bhi wohi chati hai toh you should support her" he looked at her

"Fine" he said thinking something

"But woh meri beti hai" he added making her laugh

"Such a baby Mr Malhotra" Nandini giggled

"That I am for you always" he said taking her back in his arms

"Accha" she asked making a cute face

"Haan" he said kissing her cheek which made her give a wide smile

"Let's kick start the day Hubby" she said

"Not before I get energy for the day" he said and hugged her tightly which she reciprocated in equal favour

"Challo" he said breaking the hug and giving her his hand

"Challe" she held his hand and they moved to the living room hand in hand

Manik, Nandini, Advay and Avni were in the car. Manik driving, Nandini in the passenger seat and Advay and Avni were in the backseat talking in hush tone.

Manik stopped the car  in Advay's school and they got down.

"Baby eat your food and no masti and take care" Nandini said neating his hairs and uniform

"Take care" Manik kissed his hairs

"Little one have fun" Avni said and kissed his cheek making him grin

"The plan is on na Dida?" he whispered

"So on" she winked at him as MaNan looked at them with croked eyebrows

"Bye" all the three bid him as he entered the school

Next Manik and Avni dropped Nandini at her office and proceed to Oberoi Office.

As Manik parked the car and got down Avni followed

"Arey bolo kya socha hai" Avni said following Manik who stopped in front of the front gates

"I give you this one Kiddo" Manik said with a straight face

"Yehiiiii" she yelped on him in happiness

"You are the best Dad" she said hugging him and he smiled but soon made a straight face seeing her break the hug

"Yeah whatever" he said walking in and she following him in happiness

"You know you gave me a gift so even I will give you one" she said walking besides him matching his pace

"What gift?" Manik asked as the entered the elevator

"Woh surprise hai" she said as the door was going to close but open as Arav entered with Arnav

"Good morning, you look beautiful today" Arnav said greeting them and complementing Avni

"Thank you ASR" she beemed happily and Manik saw Arab smiled seeing her happy

"Someone looks very happy" Arnav said as she smiled more nodding yes

"Ofcourse her love gifted her this beautiful outfit" Manik said as the Raizada's paled and Avni looked at him suprised

The lift reached the top floor and opened with a 'ping'

Both ASRs got out walking in front a the Malhotaras followed

"Pst why did you lie?" Avni whispered to her father

"Who gave you these" Manik asked

"Maa did"

"And you love your Maa, don't you?"

"I do"

"So technically, I didn't lie Kiddo" Manik winked and walked pass her and she was still confused

"We have the testing of the motion Kiddo, so hurry in" she heard Manik from distance and what she missed was his smirk.
