"Ok spill" Abhi and Cabir had finally found Avni in a corner. Throughout Rishab's welcome dinner in which MaNan had invited Fab5 and NavBhi these tow were seeing their ever confident clumsy

"Woh...woh" she shuttered

"La...last we..week one of our Prof got retired" she said

"So?" Cabir asked

"So we ha...have this ne....new fa... faculty" she said and both gave her a question look

"Heismrmalhotra" she stated

"Apna Manik" Abhi said and Cabir hit hum and Avni gave him a look

"Nahi" she said irritated

"Dad's Dad" she finally said it and they heard a glass break

"What! Fuck!" They turned to see Rishab

"Shhh" Avni went and drag him in the balcony closing the gate behind

"Manik Bhai is going to kill him" he whispered yelled

"I know and stop yelling" Avni said irritated she turned to look at Abhi and Cabir who stood like a statue

"Umm guys" she tried to get them back on earth

"Manik is so going to freak out!"

"Nandini is going to drop you out of the college" both said respectively

They both exclaimed together

"I know guys, I know!" she exclaimed

"You think I don't know all this, but what bothers me is Dad" she signed and sat on the chair

"It's.... it's like I am very scared, what if he hurts Dad or Maa or Adu" she had fear in her eyes

"And what about you?" Cabir asked, suddenly he was in his mind going through that day when she was kidnapped

"He doesn't know me...or...like he didn't recognize me" she told them

The minute Avni realized the man standing in front of her was Raj Malhotra she had a cold feet. She could not move.

"Hello everyone I am Raj Malhotra the founder and CEO of Malhotra Empire. Though I never had the honor of studying in the prestigious school like you I will try and train you in every situation you can face in business and how to tackle it with all my past experiences" he gave them a brief intro

"So now can I get your introduction" she said gesturing to one of the girls in the first row to start

When he was speaking Avni couldn't help but notice how Manik was so like him. The way he stood, the way she smirked, the way his eyes romed on the class. In her thoughts she felt Niharika nudge her. She looked at Niharika who gestured her making her look at Raj who had a scarcastic look on her face.

'So like Dad's she thought and stood up

"Avni" she said and couldn't help but smile as she thought of Manik

"I hope you don't continue to day dream in my class Avni" he said and she sat at her seat mumbling a quick sorry and the introduction continued

After that he gave an intro about what all he is going to cover and must say he is a good speaker and a good teacher, he focused on practical approach unlike Shashtri sir who was more into theories and stuff

The bell rang and indicated the end of period. I was walking with Niharika when I heard him

"Miss Avni" he called making me turn

"I would like to speak" he said and made her heart stop. Niharika stood at the distance as she walked ti him

"I would like to tell you that I don't like distracted students in my class so next time before day dreaming in my class keep in mind I will ask questions and if you are unable to answer it will be detention" he says sternly

"Sorry sir...I was just... I am never like this in the lectures it's just..." she trailed

"That's fine, just remember it" he said

"You won't call my parents for this right?" she asked to test if he recognized her as his eyes totally showed he didn't and all she wanted was a confirmation

"You are not in pre school" Raj had laughed it out

"And I am not a people's person such" he added making her relief according to her Maa, Me Malhotra was so he'll bend to meet Manik especially after that Day when Manik had said he hated him. Infact she rembers the number of incidents when the guards in Oberio Industries were given special orders to not let him in. He was even restrained in entering the Malhotra Towers' premise

"Thanks" she had said and turned towards Niharika when she gestured her as if asking 'did he recognized you?' and Avni just nodded a no

"Thank God he didn't recognize you" Avni was seating in the balcony with with Abhi, Cabir and Rishab

"But what will we do now?" Abhi asked no one in particular

"Dad ko pata nahi chalna chahiye" Avni was so restless and scared

"Ok ok he won't know but promise us that you will stay away from him" Cabir said he was already planning to do something with this

"I will I promise, but Dad ko hurt Nahi hona chahiye please" she said ND Abhi asked her

"Don't worry baby princess" Abhi said hugging her

"It will be fine" Cabir joined them

"You promise" she asked like a baby

"Yes I promise" he assured her

Avni, Advay, Manik and Rishab were yelling and roaming around the house looking for their things.

Nandini walked with curd and sugar bowl in her hand when she stepped on one of the puzzle peices

"Manik! Get this puzzle out of my house, like right now!" she yelled making Manik run to her.

He decended down from the stairs tucking his shirt and he went near her and kissed her cheek.

"I will do it today after I come home Jaan. I love you and Sorry I can't drop you we have a concert meeting but Kishan will drop you" he peaked her lips and ran out with his court in his hand.

"Maa maine apke purse se 500 ki note li hai, I have to but some project things." Avni said walking to her and kissed her cheek

"I love you Maa. Have a great day" she said running with her bag picking an apple from the fruit basket before Nandini could lecture her about food and travel

"Di wish me luck" Rishab said holding her hand and making himself rat the curd from her hand. He had an interview today.

"See ya" he said and rushed out to taking Advay with him and saying he would drop him.

Nandini stood there with tears slightly in her eyes. Wiping them she took her bag and left for her work

'They don't remember' she mumbled as she sat in her car. It hurtsn

After the band meeting Manik had rushed home even before lunch. From his bodyguard which he had recruited for her he had got Nandini's schedule and he git to know that she was busy today with back to back meetings. He had secretly asked her assistant to cancel all her work for tomorrow and in all he was so excited. All he wanted was to see Nandini's expression when she receives her gift they had planned.

Rishab had his interview today. Due to his treatments he had just completed his education. He was elder to Avni but in terms of education he was behind her but their bond was beyond every inferiority complexes. When he had meat her for the first time when he visited MaNan in London they had instantly clicked. The way Advay was for Avni she was for Rishab. After his mind blowing interview he had rushed home to help others

The minute Manik had picked him up. Advay was bouncing like a ball full of energy. He was excited then anyone.  Manik did want to lie but he would get jealous at time seeing his excitement. It was all over his face that he loved his Maa more than him but well. He totally felt how Nandini felt when Avni was close more towards him.

And about Avni she had rushed without even waiting for Niharika she took the first train and and ran home.

Though late she was she was the one who did most of the work as the boys were not of any use at all. She was screaming, yelling and managing them and the house as before Maa could come everything has to be ready and everything has to be special!
