"Leave" Avni said shoving Arav away

"Arav we are in college" she showed him eyes

"Haan so?" Arav asked as They currently were standing in a between the two cupboards of the section of the library where rarely anyone visits.

"For heaven sake You are my teacher" she said removing his hands which circled her wrist

"Before being your teacher I am your friend" Arav said holding her by her waist again

"Friends don't do this" she said and stopped struggling as she knew it was of no use

"And I don't remember you being my friend ever" she said folding her hand near her chest and he looked at her wide eyes

"What the!" he exclaimed shock

"Yeah I mean Sahil is my friend and you are Shail's friend" she said and looked at him

"Whatever! I don't want to be a friend anyways" he said touching his nose to her cheek

"Stop it! It tickles" she giggled

"What's with you today?" she asked turning in his arms more comfortably and looking at him with smile

"Today I had a dream" he said putting her hair strand behind her ear

"And because of that dream you pulled me here in an oculted corner of a college library where you teach and I am a student. If people see us here like this... You know what would they think?" she asked and him raising her eyebrows with tease in her eyes

"They will think we are making out" he whispered in her ears as she froze for a second

"Ok good! Be part of adventure, now let me go" she struggled to get out of his hold but he didn't let her go

"Arav let me go or I'll call Appa" she said sternly

"Sounded that Manik is some don" he said leaving her but still holding her hand

"What?" she asked amused by him. She knew he was this fun, adventurous person but not with her. He had not been this comfortable with her ever.

"Ask na what was the dream?" he said with a whinning face

"What was the dream?" she asked

"So we were driving and I took you at this lake and made you sit at the bank of that lake and kept my head in your lap and just spent time there. Sometimes you roam your hands in my hair, sometimes you traced my face, you laughed at my jokes." he said entwining their fingers and holding her close

"It was surreal and peaceful" he said as she smiled

"I would like to experience that in real you know" he said

"Arav Sing Raizada are you asking me on a date?" she asked hiding a smile

"Yes I am Avni Manik Malhotra" he said and they heard some footsteps even before she could reply. Both looked at each other alarmed and Arav quickly leaned to her

"I am waiting for the answer" he said haistly and disappeared amongst the cupboards even before anyone saw him

Avni stood there when she heard someone

"Hey Avni?" she turned to see a classmate

"Did you see Professor Raizada?" she asked

"No" Avni said taking out a random book as her face flushed with red colour

"The librarian said she saw him coming this way" she said with a confused face and left from there making Avni release the breadth she was holding for long

"You promise to act as a good boy?" Manik asked entering the house

"I am always a good boy" Advay said making Manik shake his head

"Manik Baba" an old butler recognised him

"Shankar" Manik recognised him too

"Dad hai?" he inquired

"Sir toh sube office chale gaye, abhi todi der mein aa jayenge" the butler informed

"Aur Mo... Neyonika?" Manik aksed

"Ma'am unke room mein hai" the butler told him gesturing to the room in corner

Manik nodded a yes and made way to the room. Advay looked at him as he felt Manik increasing his grip on her

"Dad kya andar chudel hai?" he whispered in amusement as Manik looked at him shock

"Chudel se kaam bhi nahi hai" Manik mumbled but nodded a no to Advay

"Toh aap itna daar kyu rahe ho?" his son further asked

"Main daar nahi raha hu" Manik defended

"Aap daar rahe ho" Advay pestered

"Shut up chujhe, soup banu tera?" he asked pissed as Advay nodded no

"Kaun hai bahar?" they heard Neyonika's voice

Manik thought for a second and took a step further when he saw Advay make a plus with the pointing fingers of both his hands

"In case andar chudel hui toh" he said when he saw Manik looking at him giving a smile showing his teeth making Manik roll his eyes

"Kaun hai?" he heard Neyonika again and knocked the door and entered after a minute and a response for entering

"Manik?" she looked shocked when Manik entered with Advay

"Woh main bas yaha se...." Manik stopped looking at her foot

"What the hell happened?" he asked looking at the factured foot

"Oh it's not that a biggi" Neyonika said flapping her hand in air with a smile on her face

"You visited?!" she seemed suprised

"Yes I was passing by, thought to" Manik stopped abruptly as he felt Advay lean to him more. His son was a shy person infront of strangers

"How did this happen?" he asked

"Slipped a month ago from the stairs" she said

"Come sit" she gestured to the bed and Manik walked close, still Advay was in his arms. He kept Advay on the bed

"Yeh kaun hai ?" he heard Advay whisper

"She" Manik looked up at Neyonika  from Advay who had a sad smile

"She is Neyonika" he said and Advay looked at Neyonika for more information

"Are you the chudel from the stories of the bed time. Woh sabko kha jati hai" Advay said and Manik looked at him wide eyes but to his suprise Neyonika laughed

"No. Main koi chudle nahi hu. Aab" she added the last word looking at her son with longing but he didn't give heed to her

"But she was one" Manik said suddenly being angry at her

"Like a retired witch" Advya's eyes shine with fascination

"Witch don't retire Advay" Manik said with bitterness dripping his words

"Accha" Advay said and scooted closer to Neyonika before Manik can restrain him

"Does it hurts?" Advay asked with so much concern pointing at the cast on Neyonika's leg that for a second Manik envied him. He wanted to ask her if she was ok? Was it hurting? But just couldn't!

"No" Neyonika said with teared eyes

So Advay poked the cast making her hiss and Manik pulled him back

"You said it didn't hurt. Dad yeh jhoot bol rahi hai" Advay said in an accused tone

"Jhoot bolna buri baat hai" he said looking at Neyonika and saying it as if he is a a teacher

"Adu you weren't suppose to touch it" Manik said looking at Neyonika

"Should I call a doctor?" he asked her plainly

"No it was just unexpected so... It doesn't pains much" she assured him

"Where is Mr Malhotra?" he asked her

"He had some legal thing to discuss with Advocate Deshmukh he is gone to the office, he'll be back in sometime" she told him

"Please sit Manik" Neyonika said seeing him still standing

"I am just fine" he said and started pacing the length and breadth

"Dad toh phir se pagal ho gaye hai" Advay said and Neyonika looked at the little boy with shock and then looked at her ever ready to get angry son just ignore such a comment and continue his pacing

Advay opened his small bagpack which Nandini insisted he carry with him. It had a water bottle and some of his toys and color pens and chocolates. He removed color pens and looked at Neyonika then the cast. He made a thinking face and then again looked at Neyonika

Getting his turmoil Neyonika shifted her leg close to him giving him a green signal and Advay started to draw something. Neyonika looked up at Manik who was now on his phone talking to someone. She shook her head and started to talk to Advay who was pretty much a interesting character to her

Avni made way to Arav's cabin After she was done with her class. Niharika was bunking today so it was not so interesting day except for her library encounter with Arav

She knocked and opend the door only to see Arav explaining something to the classmate who was looking for him earlier. Then she remembered that the girl wasn't there for the last class. Which means she was here for last hour. Here nevers wrecked and popped more when she saw that the girl was eye stripping Arav who was immersed in explaining her something from the book

"Arav" she called him taking both their attention in shock

Arav was shocked. It was rare of her taking his name so casually

"Please drop me home. Maa won't like me going by train at this hour" she said not sparing a look to the girl

"Sure" Arav said getting up

"Miss Rathi we can continue this tomorrow, the college hours have ended I guess you should leave to" he said getting up and taking his cout and other pocketing his phone

"You called him by his name" the girl asked Avni

"Yes" Avni turned to her with a sweet smile

"He is your professor" she sounded a bit rude now

"Yes but before that we are friends. Arav was in same college as me. He was my senior. We are friends since years" Avni said in more than usual sweet tone of her as Arav looked in amusement by now he knew his Princess M was jealous

"Is it? She is your friend?" the girl said making a face

"Yes" Arav said and went and stood near Avni and crushed her in a side hug

"Infact she is my best friend" he sang making her annoyed and the girl slither in jealousy and left

"Let's go" Avni said leaving the room as Arav followed her locking his cabin

"Someone was jealous" he said following her and she gave him a forced I don't care laugh. They reached the grounds when they saw a crowd gathered

Frowning they made was to the crowd when Avni heard a familiar voice

"Alright kids back off, you'll ruin my A's car! Back off!" he said as Avni beamed in happiness

"Jakey" she squeeled not caring for anyone and ran making way to the crowd

"You are back" she smiled hugging him

"Yes I am and I have a surprise" he said as all the students looked at Avni in surprise. They all thought she was this low profile girl as she didn't brag about her wealth like the other rich kids

Jake made way to the crowd but it got difficult

"For God sake leave people!" he exclaimed exasperated

"You'll ruin her car and frighten the little thing inside" he added. Though Arav was super irritated to see Jake hearing him plead for some privacy made him to ask the kids gathered to leave

Jake finally opened the door and Oreo came out barking

"Oh my god!" Avni welcomed him in her arms as he barked and ran to her

"Oreo!" she said as he cuddled to her

"You recognise me?" she asked playing with her full grown pup, now dog who jumped around her in happiness. Avni picked him up as Arav had a smile on his face seeing her like that

"Manik Sir asked me to get him back for you" he said in his English accent

"Ooohhh" Avni cuddle with Oreo and took him to Arav

"Look he is all grown" she showed Arav who patted the dog's forehead and Arav geatured Jake to leave early as people started to gather again. Jake made Avni sit as Oreo was in her lap and Arav besides her. He asked his driver to follow them to Malhotra tower

"Ursala and Nysa took care of him after Sir and Ma'am shifted here" Jake said driving the car

"Nysa?" Avni asked him confused she knew Ursala was his wife

"My daughter" Jake told her

"OMG! Jake is a Daddy bear now and Ursala is Mommy bear" Avni said gusshing over on Oreo

"Manik Sir asked me if we wanted to stay back or shift here. Ursala insited coming here to serve the Malhotras. You know how much Manik sir has helped us" he said making Avni smile and Arav looked at her confused

"Ursala is his wife, she is the incharge of all the house staff like he is the incharge of Dad's security" Avni said

"Back when Manik sir hired me. I was a street fighter but he trusted me. Gave me a lifestyle I had not even dreamet of and I and Ursala will be in forever debt of them" Jake said flashing Arav a smile and Arav returned a warm one as they drove to Malhotra Tower
