"And she said she is a big faaann" Mukti said as Nandini laughed. It was on the dinner table from last 20 minutes they were talking about this new intern of Manik

"But Manik she is just fifteen" Nandini pointed out

"So what Nandini, this is London, yaha kids try to independent as early as they could" Manik said eating chicken and rice

"And about work, trust me I have seen the girls Aptitude and interview she is brilliant" he informed

"But God she talks alot" he said goaning

"Come on Manik be a sport" Druv said

"I am Buddy but did you see he she is a Kiddo" he said goaning again

"Come on Manik you are judging her" Aliya said

"She is a fan saw us first time so got excited that's it" she added

"You are just favouring her because she called you and Druv goals" he said taking a bite

"Kuch bhi" Aliya muttered

"Nandini meet her and tell me if she isn't cute" she bet

"Oh yes Nandu, she might be home at times for work" he informed

"So is she coming tomorrow? What shall I cook for her" Nandini asked excited

"Don't be the mother hen already" Manik commented earning a wack on his bicep

"Shudd upp" she said

"I am done" Cabir said for the first time they started to have lunch

"Navya tumhe khana nahi deti Cabir" Manik asked as he earned a confused look from him

"Tu aise kha raha tha jaise akal ke jagah se aya ho" he added

"Shut up Monkey Malhotra" Cabir said

"Nandini makes tasty food like Navya does and no nazar lagaoing to my khana" he added giving Manik a glare

"And guys let's call it a night we need to leave early morning for India" Druv said

"I'll drop you guys to airport tomorrow" Manik said as they all left

Nandini was cleaning the table and then dumped the plates in the sink

"So..." Manik said

"So...?" Nandini asked

"What do you want to ask" he asked her

"Manik why will she work while she is fifteen" Nandini asked again

"I told you Nandu and please don't overthink, everyone does not have a bad life" he said

"She studies in Kingston, here since she was 3 years, she looked from a preety good family to" he added

"Ok" she said cleaning the dishes

"And how many times I should tell you not to do all this we have servants and helpers for a reason Nandini" he said washing her hands and dragging her with him

"Manik I won't get sleep thinking about the unclean plates" she said as he opened the door

"So let me make you forget everything" he said keeping her on bed and getting over her

She kissed him and he kissed back with equal passion

"Nandini" he goaned as she smooched his mole above lips

He gripped her hairs to restrict her moments and kissed her again and then followed one of the passionate nights among the many they had had

It was almost four when Manik made her wear his shirt and pit on his tracks and lay cuddling her

"Nandini let's plan for a child" he said suddenly as she looked at him, he looked back at her

"Forget what I said" he said kissing her forehead

"I want a kid too" she said snuggling in him

"But it's not the right time Nandu, you will graduate this year and then you have to set up your own company we should not take a chance for at least three years" he said and looked at her

"And there is still time, I mean I am just 25 you are 24 we can plan a kid when we both are stable in our careers" he said and she kissed his jaw

"I love you Mani"

"I love you more Nandu" he said as the alarm rang

"Sleep I will drop Fab5 and come" he said switching off the alarm

"I should at least come and say bye" she said

"No sleep, I'll tell them" Manik said getting up searching for his vest

"You will tell them what?" She asked shocked

"That I insanely made love to you all night and so you are tried to even get out of the bed" he said as she made and O face and then pouted

He kissed the pout

"I'll be back to continue this" he said kissing her forehead and taking a hoodie and left as Nandini went and peep through the window to see Fab4 already looking up and as soon as she appeared they waved her bye

Manik walked out to see his friends waving bye to someone she followed their line of vision and saw Nandini waying them back, he smiled and then said

"Chale ya yehi rehna hai"

All made bad face and sat in the car

"Guys you are going to back next month and Cabir this time please bring Abhir and Navya too" Manik said driving to the airport

Fab4 bid bye to him and Manik waited till their flight took off

He started to drive back again. It was early to start the day here so there wasn't any rush, the reason Fab4 had an early flight was to avoid crowd that's why they either travelled early morning or late nights

He was driving when he at the road side there were two kids doing something. Feeling saspious he got down to see two girls were picking puppies and putting them in a cardboard box

"What's going on here?" The moments stop hearing his voice as one of the two girls peeped back and widen her eyes

"Manik Malhotra!" she exclaimed but the other one turned with shock

"Avni!" Manik exclaimed

"He knows you?" The other girl asked astonished

"Oh hey Mr Malhotra" Avni greeted him picking up the cardboard box where the puppies where and they were trying to peep out

"What are you girls doing?" Manik asked sternly

"It was her plan" the other girl pointed to Avni who looked at Manik

"I can explain Mr Malhotra, look the mother she of these puppies died in an accident last week on this road and these are roaming around without any protection I just wanted to take them to a safe place. I know they are born here and survival instincts and survival of the fittest and stuff but I can let them die like their mother I want them to be safe so I am taking them to a safe place" she said and Manik just looked at her

"Where are you guys going?" he asked  coming out of the shock that someone can talk so much

"Up hill" the other girl said taking Manik's attention

The girl gestured something to Avni

"Oh Mr Malhotra she my bestfriend Niharika Khanna" Avni introduced

"Hello" Nikharika greeted like a gan girl and Avni face plamed

Manik just smiled and greeted her and gestured the girls to his car

"Cool" Manik heard Avni as she took the passanger seat

"You have a cool car" she complimented him but Niharika sat as if it was nothing new for her

"Where at up hill?" Manik asked them without reacting for her comment

"To the Kingston hostel" Niharika answered as Manik started to drive, there was silence in the car till the hostel arrived

Niharika got down and Manik waited for Avni to do the same

"Umm Mr Malhotra" Avni turned to him

"I am sorry for yesterday, I kinda overreacted and embarassed you infront of your friends. I will try to not do it again" she said and unlocked the door and got out with the cardboard box. He saw her join Nikharika who was talking something to her excitedly and the girls walked away from the entrance

Confused Manik got down and followed them to see them sneaking in with the puppies

He had a smile on his face as he remembered something

Flashback

"Baba aap kya kar rahe ho?" One of his caretaker said terrified

"Madam ji ko pata chala toh wo..." he tried to continue

"Pata tab chalega jab unhen koi batyega" a ten year old Manik said and sneeked a puppy in his room

End of Flashback

"Such a Kiddo" Manik said seeing her jump the wall and get in

He drove back home and went to his room to see Nandini sleeping he removed his hoddie and vest and slept besides her taking her in his arms

It was post lunch Nandini was home to see Manik working in his lab, most of the time he worked from home which was on the top most floor of his office building. She got freshen up and wore comfortable clothes when she heard the door bell ring

She walked down to see Jen walking in her black formal dress with a girl who was wearing a light blue faded jeans, maroon and white check shirt, a bagpack on her shoulder and specs on her nose giving her a nerdy look

Jen look at Nandini who was wearing a white one piece even Avni looked at Nandini and smiled it wasn't a formal smile like Jen but a warm greeting smile and Nandini instantly like the girl

"Ma'am she is Aavani" Jen said as Avni made a face

"Manik Sir's new intern" she added

"It's Avni" Avni smiled to Nandini who smiled back

"I just have to leave her hear" Jen said and bid them bye

"Come" Nandini gestured her to walk to the living room, the living room intercom had a message

Nandini pressed the play button to see Avni admiring the house

"Hey Nandu send the Kiddo to the lab as she comes" they heard Manik's voice

"That would be you" Nandini said looking at Avni's shocked expression

"Umm can you please help me Mrs Malhotra" she asked

"Yes" Nandini said as Avni opened her bagpack carefully and opened her slowly and removed a puppy

Manik entered the hall at the same time and both MaNan were shocked

"Why was it in your bag?" Nandini asked

"I had to sneek him in school and even here" Avni whispered as the puppy snuggle in her hand

"What?!" MaNan said together

"Kiddo you kept it in the bag all day what if anything happened to it" Manik said walking to the ladies

"Oh no Mr Malhotra I gave away the others to the one who wanted to adopt them, he was left so I can't leave him na Miss Suzi would have thrown him out toh I carried him in my bag but I took him out and gave him food when there was no one around I swear, Now also I put him in the bag before entering the building" she said

"He is cute though" Nandini said

"Isn't he?" Avni asked her forwarding him to Nandini

"I named him Oreo" she said handing Nandini the black pupppy who had white spots near his eyes

"Awww" Nandini gushed

"Ok ladies" Manik said

"Nandu you can have fun with him and Kidoo you follow me to the lab" Manik ordered and Walked away Agni following him

"See Oreo, that's Monster" Nandini said to the puppy giggling a bit
