Nandini and navya were chatting quitely regarding the new deal while manik was seated beside nandini and was tapping away on his laptop and sipping his favourite coffee in between. Alya was busy muttering curses and sweeping the floor while mukti stood behind navya carrying a large stack of files all the while burning holes in navya through her glares.

Dhruv was still outside washing God knows which car while akash oberoi was busy making cabir run around demanding dishes.

The door bell rang pausing all of them in their actions. Navya smirked and looked and mukthi.

"Spot Zara Jaa ke dekho kaun aaya hai" navya said eyeing the silently fuming mukthi.

"What!!! Ye naukar ke kaam hai...I am not doing them" she spoke making faces.

Navya sighed" mukti mukti shayad tum apne manners ke saath saath angrezi bhi bhul gayi...spot ka matlab hai naukarani...aur tum ho n.a.u.k.r.a.n.i" stressing each word.

Mukthi glared harder while navya continued "ab aayi samajh...tho jaao jaake dekho"

Navya shooed her while mukthi left cursing her under her breath.

Mukthi opened the door and directed her glare at the person making the person confused.

"Itni der kyun kardi open karne main " the person spoke sternly and got inside.

Nandini looked at the person and smiled widely" Keerthi...you are back!!!"

Navya and nandini hugged Keerthi while Keerthi also responded.

"Yaar tumne bataya nahi jaldi aa rahi ho" navya spoke happily.

"Agar batadi tho tum logon ke suprised chehre thodi dekhti" Keerthi spoke.

" lekin yaar...akash uncle ne ye new naukar kaha se hire Kiya. Ethiquette naam ki cheez hi nahi inmein. " Keerthi spoke frowning.

Navya giggled and spoke "woh naukar tho nandu ne gift kiye mujhe...main baad main explain karti hoon tumhe"

Keerthi opened her mouth to question further but manik cleared his throat grabbing their attention.

Nandini smiled and spoke "oh haan...Keerthi meet manik. The one I spoke to you about. And manik meet Keerthi"

Keerthi narrowed her eyes, observing him while manik smiled at her nervously.

"Manik...I know. She is like my sister so I hope you won't ever break her heart or else I won't mind breaking your bones. You should know I am capable of that " Keerthi spoke while manik gulped nervously.

He smiled assuredly at her"I won't." Keerthi just nodded her head.

Akash entered the living room and was suprised to find Keerthi there.

"Keerthi...I dint know your mission was going to end so soon. Was the outcome what we predicted" he finished sternly getting into his buisness mode.

" yes sir, it was just like we expected. It was a little messy but we caught him in the end" Keerthi spoke expressionless.

Nandini looked at their conversation with a frown which finally changed into horror.

" You told me she was going there for helping out with the research aspect." Nandini said looking at akash with disbelief.

" and you. How did you agree to his order. You know you condition phir bhi you went" she continued looking at Keerthi.

" how could you do this mamu. I really dint expect this from you" nandini spoke disappointed.

Keerthi interrupted seeing the slight hurt in akash's eyes" nandini it was not like that. Akash sir was against sending me. It was I who requested him"

Nandini looked at her disbelief " I can't. Why would you even request him...you know na that you can't- "

Keerthi shut her eyes and spoke out " that's exactly the reason I asked him nandini. You need to stop living in the past and accept my current condition. "

Nandini took a step back shaking her head and left the room.While Keerthi looked down in tears. Akash sighed and signaled navya to follow nandini while she nodded and rushed out along with manik.

Akash walked upto Keerthi and patted her head " bas bacche. Aur mat ro. Nandini feels responsible for your condition isliye it is hard for her to understand your insistence on doing field work"

Keerthi spoke " par kab tak uncle. Kab tak woh khud ko meri doshi tehrayegi. I don't blame her. Jo hua uss main uski koi galti nahi. "
