Nandini's POV

I got up as my phone beeped showing the time for yoga. I jumped out of bed and walked to the shower. I walked to my closet and took out my grey sweatpants and white crop top.

I walked to the terrace where I saw aliya already there. She was wearing her simple cream top and blue sweat pants. I smiled and joined her without disturbing her

After about an hour we finally completed our yoga and moved for a shower to our rooms.

We were staying at aliya's place as aie had ordered us to stay there till the whole wedding.

I walked to my closet and choose shorts and my comfy white tee. As I knew shopping is not a easy job.

"Good morning.." I said as I saw navya, aliya, aie, baba and mukti on the breakfast table

"Good morning" they all replied back

I settled myself on my seat and looked at mukti, aliya and navya

"Aie-baba actually I wanted to ask you all something." I said and they gestured me to speak further

"Kya hum aliya ki shaadi theme main kar sakte hain?" I asked and aliya looked at me stunned

"She has always wished for a wedding in woods." I said completing my sentence

"Oh shit.. how dumb of us to forget that." Navya said hitting her head on her forehead

"Actually, it slipped out of my mind too." mukti said

"Toh aie baba bolye na..." Navya asked excitedly

"Hume koi problem nahi hain, hum logo ne Dhruv aur Uske mum-dad se bhi baat karli hai." Aie said

"Haan then we have booked one of islands near andaman" baba said and we four jumped happily

"We remember our princess's wish" Aie said and we smiled

"OMG...thank you aie baba..." we all said as we hugged them

"Now go shop for the wedding, we are leaving tomorrow early in morning." baba said and we all smiled hugely

After the breakfast we moved to Manish Malhotra showroom to get aliya's clothes.

As soon as we entered we were greeted warmly by a girl.

"Good morning, on behalf of Manish Malhotra I welcome 'Devil Diva's' " the girl greeted and we all smiled

"Actually we are here for the shopping of aliya's wedding" Navya said

"Oh that's great, congratulations aliya Ma'am." she said smiling

"Thank you." Aliya replied smiling back

"Please come in, and yes you can call me clara." she said as she led us inside to a sitting area

"So Ma'am would you like to have something specific for your wedding?" Clara asked taking a notepad in her hand

"Ummm... Yeh, four lehnga and a saree." Aliya replied and Clara noted it down

"So I think you should have a look at our collection." Clara said and we nodded

She walked out to bring some of th lehnga while we looked at them carefully.

"How about these." Clara said picking two of the red bridal lehnga

"Umm... I think this one is way too simple." Navya said pointing the right one

"And this one is a bit revealing, as aliya's in laws are traditional." I said keeping my opinion.

"Okay, how about this one?" Clara asked taking a dark pink lehnga

"It's perfect... I think I'll get this for sangeet.." Aliya said and we all nodded While she got up to try it.

She came out after sometime and it was just perfect.

' oh my God it's amazing ' aliya said as she saw her self in the mirror with a huge smile

'TRUE' me, Navya and mukti screamed

'ok so is it final for the sangeet??' clara aasked

'yes ' aliya answered still looking at her reflection and the smile wasn't leaving her face.

' ok so stop admiring yourself... we have a lot to select go and try another ones' Mukti said

' ok ok I m going ' aliya said and walked to the changing room

After sometime aliya came out wearing

'it's pretty?? ' Navya asked

'hmmm' I said

'what about u aliya?? ' Mukti asked

'I don't know...' aliya said and we shooted confused looks

'as in... u know I am not getting that feeling... ' aliya continued but was interrupted by mukti

'what feeling???' Mukti asked

'as in.. like it's pretty but I don't like it..'

'aliya if it's pretty, so why don't you like it??' Navya asked

'NANDINI... explain na..' aliya said with a helpless face.

'Simple, it's pretty but not perfect for her mehndi...' I explained

'oh like that..' navya said

' ohk, than try the other one' Mukti said

'oh wait... we don't have all day to chose lehnga's for her.. we have lots to do.. so we'll just have a look on the lehnga's and if we like any so we will make her try that.. what say??' I said

'Ha thats a better option.. I m too tired to wear all of them' aliya said

'ok ' navya and mukti said

So then we started looking all the lehnga's for mehndi and haldi...Aliya was just sitting and chilling and was just bothered when we asked her opinion

'aliya whose wedding is it??' Mukti asked

'of course mine!!' aliya answered

'and who is selecting the clothes??' Navya asked

'u guys... why??' Aliya asked casually

'u know what aliya, every girl dreams for her wedding, her husband, her clothes and everything about it.. but you... you are just relaxing ' I said

'Ha so u guys are there na' aliya reasoned

'yes we are here.. but it's your wedding' navya said

'acha baba ok... ' aliya said and we started again

' acha nandini??' Mukti called as aliya went to try another lehnga

'Ha mukti..' I said turning toward her

' as you said ki every girl dreams of her wedding... have u ever dreamed something like that??' Mukti asked

' Ha I did' I said casually

' what ' navya asked as both of them were looking at me eagerly

'More than my wedding I've thought of my future husband... like how will he be?? Like will we have arranged marriage or the love?? You know when I was a teenager I used to think like what he would be doing at this time?? How he must be looking?? What will he think of me when we would see each other first time??? Will he be taller or shorter than me?? Like I was so fond of thinking about him.. it used to fascinate me so much.. in my free time I used to do this only...even I told nikita about it and at first she was like pissed with it but then she also was fascinated by this, u know *side effects of staying with nandini murthy* ... but eventually as I became older I realized that life is not all about dreaming, you need to prove yourself.. as they say and I believe *you don't need a prince to save you* ' I said and smiled

'oh wow... nandu tu to badi--' navya said but was cut off by aliya

' how am I looking??' Aliya asked excitedly as she came out of the trial room... it was a dark green lehnga with golden embroidery and a matching blouse paired up with a yellow dupatta..

' that looks amazing ' I said

' that's perfect for mehndi ' navya said

' I m speechless ' Mukti said and aliya smiled wholeheartedly

' ohk so it's finall??' clara asked

' a big fat yes' aliya answered

' So now it's time to select for haldi' aliya said rubbing her palms excitedly and we started again

This time it didn't took us much time as it was to select a decent lehnga as it was just a family function

It was a sleeveless yellow lehnga choline and a transparent dupatta with necessary work on it...

'So now only shadi's and reception's lehnga left' Mukti said As we sat after finalizing haldi's, mehndi's, and sangeet's lehnga

'Ha phir tum logo ki shopping baki rahegi' aliya said as her phone rang and she immediately smiled.

' ja baat karle aaram se tab tak hum wait karte hain' navya said and aliya left..

She came back smiling after about 15 minutes

"Oh here she is, let's complete the remaining shopping." mukti said

"Guys, no need to do that. Actually, mom called and she said that the wedding lehnga and and reception will be from their side." Aliya said and we nodded in understanding

"So, let's shop for you guys." Aliya said excitedly and we all got up after paying and asking to deliver it We left the shop and move to mall.

We all walked in an Indian store

'Hello mam... how may I help you??' one of the sales girl greeted us

'hey, as it is my wedding and these are my friends.. so I want like 3 salwaar kameez for haldi and the mehndi, than anarkali for sangeet, lehnga's for the wedding and half sarees for the reception... the sarees, lehnga's and anarkali should be the heavy ones... and as the sangeet, wedding and the reception are at night they should have a bright shades... show some good colors.. and make it quick as everything else is left...' aliya explained briefly and we all smiled

"Okay Ma'am, so you want the designer collection?" the girl asked polietly

'you can start showing me the pieces than i'll tell you what I want and what I don't as it goes on..' aliya said with a smile

The girl started with the clothes, aliya would just pull out something or the other which she doesn't like in almost every dress and because of her tantrums two more girls started to to show her the dress...most of time she would just say 'no its soo light' or ' it's good but it's color is so dull' or 'I don't like it's pattern' or 'no its not that good' or 'you are not wearing this' or 'no' or 'nope' or 'too much of work' or 'this aint that good for my wedding' or 'ya it's pretty but not that much' or just 'next'.

And if she would like that 'perfect' or 'ya that is beautiful' or 'you look hot' or ' if you wear this boys are dead' or 'that looks amazing on u' or 'we are gonna take it' or ' you look like a doll' or 'huge earrings without any necklace with it and perfect' or ' you are wearing this' or ' yes' or 'a big fat yes' or just ' pack this one'.

What were we doing?

Oh we were just sitting there Idol and just nodding when she would just give her approval and trying trying and trying dozens of dresses she would tell us to...

I won't say it finished soon, no it didn't, it took time. it took much time...

Most of the time I was just texting manik and was nodding intelligently whenever aliya turned to me just acting I know everything whatever she said

After 3 hours we left the mall with huge huge bags in our hands and kept them in our car..

'I m damn hungry..' Mukti said as she shut the car's door as we kept all the bags in..

'me too' navya said

'same here' aliya said

'Chalo to phir..' I said as we made our way to Macdonals we were sitting like me, aliya , mukti, Navya and than again me

'navya go na.. place the order ' Mukti cribbed as we took our places in Macdonals

'Why would i??' Navya asked raising her eyebrows

'kyu ki hum keh rahe hain' Mukti said pulling her imaginary collar her tone

'acha??' Navya asked crossing her arms

'plz navu baby... ' Mukti said and Navya melted

'acha kya khaoge???' Navya asked getting up from her place

'maharaja mac' mukti said

"Mine will be Mac spicy chicken" I said and she nodded

'Aur tum?' Navya asked aliya but she was engrossed in her phone and we three passed each other evil smiles...

I patted aliya's shoulder and she looked up to see me while Navya took her phone from her hand

"Navya... my phone." Aliya said trying to take it back

"Haan.. Haan... tera hi hai... Bas, abhi ke liye isse bhul ja." mukti said as she kept aliya's phone in her jeans pocket

"Ab bol... kya khayegi?" navya asked
"Chicken wrap and a diet coke." Aliya said and Navya walked away

We sat there gossiping about random things after sometime navya too joined us with the order

"Yum... McDonald's is the best." I said taking a bite from my burger

"True!" Navya said

"I agree." mukti said as she sipped her coke

"You know guys, I was thinking to go for spa after this." Aliya said looking at her nails

"I will join you." mukti and Navya said together and they turned to look at me

"Umm... sorry guys, I have some work." I said helplessly

"Tujhe kya kaam aagaya?" Aliya asked keeping her hands on her waist

"I had to meet the producer for alternation problems." I said trying to make an excuse and BINGO.

"Okay, whatever." Aliya said focusing on her chicken wrap

While mukti and Navya gave me a 'what is going on' look

"Kahan janeka plan hai?" navya asked slowly

"I need to go for Redecoration of aliya and jiju's room." I said and she smiled

"Okay." she said as we finally finished with our food

"Okay guys, I'll see you guys later." I said as I checked the time in my phone.

"Okie dokie" Navya said smiling

"Try to come as soon you finish with whatever work you have." Aliya said side hugging me and I smiled

"Guys, just a second." mukti said as she dragged me in a corner

"Jaldi bata.. what's cooking? There is no alternation needed and I know that." she asked keeping her hands on her hips

"I am going to redecorate aliya's future room." I said shaking my head in disbelief

"Bye." mukti said as she ran off smiling and I walked to my car.

I walked to my car and saw a girl standing there ogling at my car.

I walked to her and tapped her shoulder

"Hey." I said smiling and she shrugged my hand away

"Abbe ja na..." she said still looking at the car

"Okay, I thought i could drop you. That's my car.." I said pointing my audi r8 matte black

"That's your car?" she asked turning to me and I nodded

"You were offering me lift?" she asked excitedly and I smiled

"I would love to get lift." she said jumping up and down

"Woah girl, relax!" I said holding her and she jumped on me.

"Let's go..." she said as we both walked to the car

"Wait." I said and she looked at me

"Come here." I said as I stood near the bonnet of car

"What?" she asked confused

"Let's take a picture." I suggested and she smiled

"Sure." she said as she took her phone out

"Can I?" I asked and she happily gave me the phone

I took our picture and deliberately took my number plate in the picture.

"Here, well I forgot to introduce myself. I'm nandini." I said forwarding my hand

"Soha." she said as we shook our hands

"Okay soha, can you please send that picture to someone in your family?" I asked polietly while she looked at me

"Why?" she asked confused

"Look, I am sure you are new to the city and as I am giving you lift so just for safety. My picture and car plate number should be with your family." I said and she looked at at with a shock

"It's just a lift.." she said

"No soha, you should never trust someone you just met" I said and she nodded

She sent it to her elder sister informing her about me as I drove to the busy streets of mumbai

"So where should should drop you?" I asked looking at her

"Bandra." She said and showed th Google map in he phone.

"Wait. You want to go vedant place?" I asked as as stopped my car on the side

"Yep. Any problems?" she asked

"No, let's go." I said as I speed up
