"ma-manik..... Manik Kahan ho aap.... Manik "nandini was shouting his name but he was nowhere.

Her heart was racing like anything..... She was scared. Scared to loose him, her only family.

Her eyes welled up not finding him in front of her.... Just then her eyes feel on a little distance on the main road. Some people, maybe goons were trying to take a boy forcefully with them.

Then realization struck her. MANIK! It was Manik who they were forcefully taking away god knows for what! He was shouting while trying to get out of their grip but wasn't able to due to his weakness and mostly his condition.

She heard him saying,

"chodo...chodo Mujhe! Mu-mujhe star ke pass Jana hai.... Star! "

Without wasting a single moment.. She rushed there to save him

She pushed them off him and stood in front of him like a shield protecting him from the evil....

"Dur hato unse! "nandini shouted furiously.

"Arree dekh Kya mast maal Hai..... "said the 1st goon

"boss isse bhi lechalte Hain.... Bazar mein bade achhe daam milenge iske... "said the other goon while the others laughed nastily.

"idea toh tune bada sahi diya se.....par pehele maal ko check toh karle... "saying this the goon tried touching nandini when Manik pulled her to himself.

"du-dur Dur raho tum meri star se...! Du-dur! "Manik stuttered angrily while nandini too clutched his T-shirt tightly.

Yes she was acting all brave but still she was scared inside.

"yeh dekho chooza bola... Haha... "saying this the goon laughed while others too joined them.

"Ab bohut hogaya hassi majak.... Oyyee Mara muh Kya Tak Rahe Ho .....chalo kaam Khatam Karo "said the goon and all the goons started walking towards them.

"pass mat aana...! War-warna... "said nandini trying to act brave.

"warna...? Warna ke karlegi Tu baby doll...? "asked the goon.

He gestured his men to move and they did.

"me-Meine kaha pass mat aana !"said nandini still covering Manik.

But they didn't stop instead they forcefully separated them...

"Manik! "Screamd nandini.

"star! "screamed Manik struggling

"chodo unhe wo-wo bimar Hain.... He is unwell.... Unhe Kuch mat Karo...!Manik! "said a helpless nandini.

Just when the goon were about to bust a beer bottle on Maniks head nandini struggled and got free from their hold somehow and immediately rushed towards him she pulled Manik and covered him with her body life a shield resulting in the beer bottle hitting her instead of Manik.

"ahhh... "nandini screamed in pain as the bottle hit her back and some of the glass pieces got stuck in her back.

"Star !"Screamd Manik.

"badzaat ladki...! "saying this the goon angrily came toward manan and pushed Manik resulting him in falling down and grabbed nandini by her hair.

"Bahut shauk hai na heroine banne ka... Abhi batata hun thare ko...! "said the goon angrily as nandini winced in pain while Manik was struggling to get free from the goons hold as they had again captured him.

Some of his men held nandini while she tried to free herself from their clutches.

Just when he was about to pull Her dupatta off her chest a hand stopped it in the middle.

And gave a thrashing punch on the goons face and he fell on the ground straight on his face.

Nandinis looked at the owner of the punch and said...

"ABHIMANYU!! "

"himmat kaise hui meri best friend ko haat lagane ki......!"said abhimanyu furiously... His eyes blood shot red.

Within minutes all goons were lying on the road senseless... Some of them even ran away due to fear...

Instantly nandini ran towards manik and hugged him tightly with he reciprocated equally...

"sta-star.... "wispered Manik scared.

"mannu....! Mannu aap theek toh hain na... Aa-aap Apko chot toh nai ayi na Kahin.... "asked nandini checking his arms,forhead and hands....

But Manik just hugged her tighter holding her move closer...

Then abhimanyu came to them ,
"Nandu are you alright..."he asked Helping them both to get up .

"hum theek hai Abhi... Thank you... Thank you so much humari madad karne ke liye... Agar Aaj tum waqt Pe na aate toh pata nahi Kya hojata.... "saying this her grip tightened on Maniks hand.

"Arree yaar Isme thanks bolne ki Kya Baat hai... Yeh toh Mera farz tha....lekin tum yeh batao tum Dono itni Raat ko yahan bus stop Pe Kya karrahe Ho..?"said abhimanyu politely..

"Wo.. Wo.. Hum... "nandinis hesitate a little and watching her hesitate this much abhimanyu instantly understood something was seriously wrong because as for nandini she was always open with him and he was her only friend and he was hers.... Hence there is no question of hesitation in between them.

"achha achha OK calm down Ek kaam karte Hain... Raat Bahut ho chuki Hai filhal u both come with me.... Aaj Raat mere Ghar Ruk Jana... Wahan chalke Baat karenge... "said abhimanyu calmly.
"Par Abhi... "before nandini could complete Abhi said...

"no mein Kuch nahi sununga Aur Waise bhi Manik is injured uppar se tujhe bhi chot lagi hai... Aise Halat mein I can't let my best friend go.... Come on now no arguments. "

Finally nandini had to Agree to him.

Abhimanyus house

Nandini made Manik sit on the couch supporting him at due to the goons push his already injured leg and arm were again bruised.

"aaram se... "she said politely.

Just then abhimanyu said,

"doll... Tujhe bhi.. "but was interpretd by Manik.

"usse tum doll mat bulao! Wo-wo sirf meri star hai... Han ....au-aur sirf mein hi usse star bula sakta hun "said manik possessively.

"Manik... Manik plz Shant ho jayeye... Plz.... Aachha nai bulayega Abhi Mujhe doll OK... But plz aap Shant ho jayeye... "nandini said worriedly rubbing his chest to calm him down.

Understanding the situation abhimanyu said,

"Achha achha OK baba nahi bulata mein tumhari star ko doll buss! Par buddy usse chot lagi hai atlest Mujhe first aid toh karne do... "Abhi said politely smiling.

He takes the first aid kit and moves towards nandini but before he could Manik snatched the kit away from him.

"nahi... Tu-tum Dur raho meri star se..... Mein karlunga uska fi-first aid.... "said Manik pulling nandini more closer to him.

He was getting hyper which is harmful for his current condition hence nandini said,

"Achha.. Achha OK Koi Nai aayega aapke star ke pass... Aap chahate hain na ki Koi mere pass na aaye toh Koi Nai aayega theek hai.... Plz mannu aap shant hojaeye ...relax.... "said nandini rubbing his chest again to relaxing him so he doesn't get too hyper.

"achha achha...ok I wont buddy happy...?you guys carry on mein thodi der mein butler ko bhejta hun dinner ke saath."he said with a friendly smile and left.

After he left manik instantly made nandini sit on the bed...

"mannu...aap-aap kya kar rahe ho..."nandini asked confused but still sat .

"star sit na plz...and turn around..."said manik babishly.

"par.."before nandini could complete manik intruppted.

"nai yo-you turn around..."again said manik.

Nandini sighed and finally turned around facing her back to manik.when after few minutes nothing happened nandini asked...

"kya hua manik..."but froze on her place when she felt her kurta being slowly lifted from her back .she felt chills pass through her body causing goosebums as his cold yet sleek fingers slowly touched her skin on her back.

Actually manik was confused how should he treat the wound without hurting her hence finding no way this idea struck his mind. Being the child he is now he didnt know the havoc he was causing in nandinis heart.

Slowly he took out the glass piece from her back and she hissed. Then he blowed air on the wound and cleaned it with antiseptic....as nandini closed her eyes to feel his devine touch,he applied the ointment with his tounge slightly out from the corner of his mouth while nandinis grip on her dupatta grew stronger.

After finishing he turned nandini around gently while checking for more wounds on her arms and hands while nandini just watched him in awe as her heart grew more overwhelmed.

While nandini just kept watching him with utmost love as these words escaped from her lips on her own.

"aapne dawai lagadi na ab mujhe dard kaise ho sakta hai...."said nandini as her eyes got flooded with tears .

After 4 months....

"mannu....mannu...yahan aiye abhi ke abhi....ye milk finish kijiye...."said nandini angrily.

"star plz na...its...its so ganda..."making a poker face and acting like he is gagging manik said.

"mannu mujhe late horaha hai na...comeon aap star ki baat nai manoge....?sochlo phir star royegi...."as nandini said this instantly manik ran towards nandini and hugged her.

"nai nai star tum mat ro mujhe bilkul nai pasand jab tum roti ho...ok ok I will drink this ganda sa milk.....manik plomish...!"said manik anxiously making nandini smile..

Instantly manik drank the milk in a single time resulting in formation of a milk moustache on his upper lip...nandini giggled and wiped his upper lip with her dupatta saying...

"Good boy..."

"achha abhimanyu ko zada tang mat karna ok...aaj uski chutti hai...be a good boy ok I will be back by evening."said nandini.

manik bobbed his head obediently but make a face at abhimanyus name as even nandini knew that he doesn't like sharing her time and attention with anyone except himself and in these 4 months he had grown more possessive as well as habituated to her. Saying this she smiled at him one last time and was about to leave when manik held her hand and pulled her to him and she banged in his chest...

"kya hua mannu..."asked nandini .

"wo..wo meri...ki..kissi...?"said manik playing it her dupatta like a baby making nandini smile.

"sirf tumhari..."said nandini and gently pecked on his cheek.

Manik smiled widely on this making nandini giggle.

"bye bye mannu..."said nandini and even manik too wished her the same.

As nandini left, Manik sat on the couch and started playing with his rubix cube making faces. As now nandini used to work day and night to earn a living so that she can take care of him and make his condition better by providing him with suitable treatment as it was really very expensive.

Abhimanyu being a kind soul offered her to help her with the expense but nandini being the stubborn soul she is declined immediately as according to her, Manik is her responsibility and she has to take care of him with her self earned money rather than with someone else's. Hence he had to give in but still he somehow convinced her to stay with him along with Manik in his house and she finally had to give in but not before making him agree to that She will pay him the rent for it every month. As always he had to rest his case because nobody can win from her stubborness.

"what's up buddy?! Said abhimanyu sitting beside him on the side couch.

"hi "said Manik disinterested still busy in his rubix cube.

His thoughts were broken by abhimanyu,

"Kya hua buddy...? Kya soch Raha hai...?itna Chup chap Kyun hai...? Gussa hai Kya Tu Mujhse? "asked Abhi.

"Kuch Nai! But me-meko tumse baat Nai karni. "said Manik.

"Tu-tum star se du-dur raho samdhe (samjhe).... Star sirf meri hai... I don't like jab Tu-tum Usske kalib (Karib) jate ho toh... "said Manik grumpily.

"Ohh! Toh my buddy is jealous Han... "said abhimanyu mischievously.

Manik looked at him confused.

"jea-jealous ...?Wo Kya hota hai..? "asked Manik confused.

"Ummm.... Jealous Matlab.... Jab aap kisi se bahuut Zada pyaar Karo Aur unconditionally love Karo toh aap Unhein kisi Aur ke Saath nahi dekh pate Usko bolte Hain.... "said Abhi politely trying to make him understand.

Hearing all this manik was completely amused by this new found information.

"Aur... "as Abhi was about to say more to him the door bell rang.

"Ek minute buddy..... Tu baith mein Abhi aaya.... "saying this he went to the corridor leaving to the main door of the house.

While Manik sat there thinking.

Ye-yeh khambu uncle Kya bol Rahe the.... Jealous....?!Kya mein sach-sachi jealous hun....? Kya mein star se... (after thinking for some time he agrees determinedly) Han me-mein star se... Bahuut... Pyal ( pyaar )karta hun. I LOVE MY STAR .

Here as Abhi opened the door a lady literally jumped on him hugging him tightly taking him by surprise.

"muk-mukti...! "exclaims Abhi in sheer joy. Lifting her a little off the ground he twirls her around hugging her close to him.

And claimed his lips by placing her soft on on his. And both started kissing each other hungrily. The passion was so intense that they completely forgot the world around them kissing each other feverishly.

Here Manik was thinking when his though process was interrupted by an excited screem by mukti.

And we all know that curiosity killed the cat. Hence he got up and went to check who was it.

But as he reached there he saw something very foreign for him...

Abhi had pinned mukti to the wall while her arms were around him neck and her legs were wrapped around his waist. While both were busy eating each others face well according to him atleast this type of new whatever thingy was eating eachothers face.

He was chewing her lips like crazy as if he had got his favourite candy or something. While Manik looked at them shocked as well as confused at the same time.

As they broke the kiss panting heavily they noticed Manik staring at them with wide eyes completely shocked.

"Arre buddy Tu yahan..... I told you to sit there na. I-I was just coming yaar. "said Abhi hurriedly as if been caught doing something illegal while mukti blushed shyly nodding in agreement.

"mukti tum abhi Abhi ayi ho... Go get freshen up tab Tak I'll make something edible for all of us. "said Abhi trying to normalize the situation.

"oh-ohk..! "saying this mukti went from there to freshen up.

Manik was still shocked as well as confused about why were they eating eachothers face stood there thinking.

"come buddy! "saying this he took him with him towards the living room.

"Aa-aap Dono Kya kar Rahe the? Why wel (were) you eating eachothers face..? "asked Manik confused.

"no buddy... We weren't eating eachothers face... We were kissing each other... "said abhimanyu calmly trying to explain it to him.

"kissing?!Par Wo toh Kissie hoti hai na... J-jo star Mujhe har roz cheek Pe deti hai.... "asked Manik immediately.

Abhi smiled at this and said,

"Han buddy ...Wo bhi kiss Hai Par uss kiss mein Aur Iss kiss mein difference hota hai.. "

"Achha Achha OK buddy... I'll tell you plz... Yaar calm down.... Shhhhhh.... "said Abhi rubbing his back trying to calm him down as his being hyper can be a big hindrance in his recovery. It may become fatal for his health too.

Manik was again amused by this new found information when Abhi said,

With that he went towards the kitchen.

Yet khambu uncle Kya sach bol Rahe the  ......mein bhi toh star se du-dur nahi reh sakta, au-aur mein usse kisi Aur ke Saath bhi nahi dekh sakta... Mat-matlab mein bhi star se pyaar karta hun! He was changing the channel with the remote when suddenly a Hollywood movie channel popped up on the screen and a make out scene was going on in it....

And Manik amused stared it with wide eyes...

In the evening

"mannu...! Kahan ho aap..... "saying nandini entered there room lovingly as soon as she reached home.

As she closed the door and went towards the bed with a parcel.

"mannu...! Where are you... Dekho mein Kya layi aapke liye..... "said nandini and kept it on the bed when he felt two hands on her shoulder from behind startling her.

"mannu aap-"before she could complete her words were caught up in her throat only due to Maniks move....

Manik slowly slid him hands all the way down her arms ....lightly carresing it and nandini froze on Her spot...

He then gently touched his lips on the passage between her neck and shoulders and trailed his lips there gently .

giving open mouth kisses gently bitting her.

Evoking her senses with his heated touch. Then slowly moving his hands from her arms to her stomach inside her kurti As his cold sleek fingers touched her bare skin she gasped audibly. Clutching her dupatta on her sides tightly trying to control her heightened sensations arising in the pit of her stomach.

As nandini gasps Manik jerks her towards himself turning her towards him in the process.

Nandini with closed eyes panting heavily turns around. Only their racing breaths can be heard in the room. Their faces close to each other.

Manik gently cups her face with one hand and bends towards her. Then kisses her forehead .

Then on her nose .

And gently fuses their lips. His rough supple ones with her soft pink as rose petal ones.

Nandini not being able to control get emotions completely drowns in its passion forgetting get surroundings.

Automatically her hands uncluthed her dupatta and instinctively went around his neck with her fingers inside his deep mane clutching it in her small fist.

And soon then kiss grew feverish filled with passion. And nandini too started responding after a few seconds.

While kissing nandinis moved back as not able to handle such passion her legs had turned jelly hence she started moving back with Manik moved with her supporting her by holding her by her waist.

Both still kissing. Finally nandinis legs hit the bed and she falls on the bed with Manik on top of her still kissing her.

Finally they broke the kiss panting heavily. Resting their foreheads on eachothers.

"I-I LOVE YOU STAR !"said Manik and nandinis eyes shot open and realisation struck her about what had just happened. She gasped audibly.

"man-manik.... "said nandini shocked not believing her ears.

"I love you star.... Is-isliye Meine tumhe Wo special wali Kissie bhi di.... Be-because you are th-the world to me, you are my everything. Mein tumhare bina nahi reh sakta.... Bec-because you are special to me.... Don't you love me...? "asked Manik innocently.

And nandinis world stopped right there. She didn't know how to react. How to express. Yes its true that she has been in live with Manik all her life. Yup she has been as she even doesn't know when her crush turned into love but now she was irrevocably in love with him. But she never thought that one day Manik too will love her back  .Most importantly in this state.

But his sudden confession left her baffled. She doesn't know where it was wrong or right? Wether she should feel this way or not? Wether she is good enough for him or not? Wether she should engage into something which according to the society will destroy her? But she can't fight it anymore. She can't fight this feeling. The strong urge to be in his arms, to look at his peaceful face when he sleeps, to watch him baber all the things he has done all day, to make him laugh, happy and most importantly the strong desire to hide him in her arms to protect him from this evil world just like a shield until he is capable enough to be hers.

She knows that there will be hard times ahead like really hard. Even there will be people who will question their bond and relationship but sometimes love is far beyond these limits, it is boundless. It is Par denser than our imagination. Its purity cannot be measured by simple baseless rules of our so called society. It is the relationship which connects two different hearts in two different bodies through an artery called love resulting in them beating a single beat instead of two different and that too in a perfect melody until they meet again in heaven.

"star tu-tum Kuch bol Kyun nahi Rahi... "asked Manik again sadly.

And at that very moment she decided. SHE CAN'T RUN AWAY ANYMORE. SHE HAS TO ACCEPT IT NOW. SHE CAN'T LET HIM GO. SHE TOO NEEDS HIM JUST LIKE HE NEED HER.

YES, SHE IS IN LOVE WITH MANIK.

HER MANIK.

YES! SHE LOVES HER MANNU.

ONLY HERS.

Manik has confessed even in this state, whatever may be the reason. He has expressed his love for her and she is not going to let him down. Do hell with the society even if they call her names like gold-digger, bitch or even a slut buy she won't let go of him she will always be his no matter what. May be even the destiny wants this to happen. All these things happening in these months may be is an indication that they are meant to be. So now she is going to leave the rest on god and go on where destiny takes her.

Her eyes glistening with tears, but finally she smiles and says.

"I LOVE YOU TOO MANNU! LOVE YOU TOO! "

Saying this she pulls him in her embrace he is still on top of her. Maniks happiness knew no bound. So as Nandinis. Finally she got her family in real sense.

Manik too hugs her tightly hiding his face in her chest while still on top of her and nandini to hugging him tightly as tears of happiness made their way from her eyes.

After 4 months .....

Manik is sleeping peacefully on nandinis chest hugging her tightly while nandini is caressing his hair lovingly.

"mannu... Baby wakey wakey.... "said nandini lovingly trying to wake him up.

While Manik snuggled more in her neck.

"baby see its morning... Phir aapko brushy bhi karni hai then breakfast bhi toh Karna hai na baby... "said nandini softly ruffling his locks.

Manik Slowly looked up with sleepy eyes then gave her his heart melting smile. And instantly took her lips in a passionate kiss. Nandini moaned softly in his mouth with sweet pleasure closing her eyes melting in pleasure.

While kissing maniks hands were all over her traveling on her body like playing a musical instrument. From her chest to her belly inside her top.

After kissing each other to the fullest finally they broke the kiss and Manik wished her...

"good morning star....! I love you... "looking deep into her eyes.

"good morning.... I love you too... "said nandini softly.

This was how they use to start their day after that confession.

But still their life didn't become any easy.one side maniks treatments were going on which were getting more expensive day by day and the other side the people were getting impossible. Why? Because the only sole reason was that they weren't married and we're staying together in a single house, in a single bedroom that to with another man though he is about to get married to his fiance after a month.

Yes. Our society still thinks the same way a boy and girl relationship. It doesn't matter whether our of them has pa string reason to stay with the other not disease and not even LOVE.

Well love or no love, a girl who stays with two men in a single house is always called a slut. No matter what may be the real reason or story behind this but she is always judged and a her character is permanently tagged with the name slut with a capital S.

This society norms always judges a girl by their rules practically they think girls should be treated like dogs who should sit and stand on their command only if not then they are awarded with a character certificate of being a slut permanently. That's the dark truth of this so called samaj.

People in the neighborhood started taking rubbish about her and maniks relationship then hers with abhimanyus then at the end she had to leave the place and shift to another flat. There also after some days people started talking rubbish. They could never understand the purity of their bond.

After 1 year....

"uncle how is he...? Kaise hain Wo Kya Kuch improvement hui hai unki haalat mein "asked nandini anxiously.

after checking the brain CT scan finally the doctor turned with a big smile.

Tears made their way from her eyes  .

"Meine Kuch bhi nahi kiya bete ...yeh Sab toh tumhare badulat Ho paya. Aaj agar Manik ki tabiyat mein sudhaar hai toh Wo Sirf Aur sirf tumhari Uske liye Sachhi shraddha or astha ke wajhese. Tumhare pyaar Aur care ki wajhese Aaj Manik theek ho paya hai.... Aaj raj hota toh Bahut khush hota.... God bless bete god bless. "saying this the doctor left for another emergency case.
