Mother and sons relationship is the most pure relationship in this entire world. But sometimes it gets polluted due to greed and undying thirst for power. It blinds the person such that he or she forgets the difference between right and wrong.

Location -Malhotra mansion

There was hustle-bustle going around all over the mansion as it wasn't any Ordinary Day ,it was the Manik Malhotras birthday who was turning 18 today and that wasn't just a normal day it was a huge thing as today the whole Malhotra Property was going to be named his .He would be announced as the rightful heir to the Malhotra legacy hence everyone was happy but mostly Manik's stepmom nyonika.

Finally! finally the day is here... I had to act all these years just to keep that son of a bitch under my control as I knew, Mr. Malhotra would never name all this property on my name .As my plan A failed that was to get pregnant and manipulate Mr. Malhotra against Manik so that he will name all the property on my own bloods name but alas! that old hag died in car accident hence, I had to go with plan B and that is to control Manik ,show him all my motherly love correction ,fake motherly love so that he is under my control and when he turns 18 according to that old hags will all the property will be named his and I will manipulate Manik telling it's not safe to keep all the property on his name till he legally turns an adult and convince him to name it on my name ....isn't that a master plan !....well what can I say.... ?! I am a genius!

Nyonika was roaming here and there in the mansion mostly in the living area checking all the arrangements for the evening as the lawyer would come and announce the will in front of everyone declaring Manik the official heir of the Malhotra industries when,a small girl of 16 with a cute height, wearing a maid costume with long brown straight silky hair running down her waist ,having big doe shaped eyes filled with coal speaking volumes ,screaming innocence, with milky white skin ran into Nyonika....

And she screamed in frustration

" what the hell is this Nandini is this a way to behave !!!Have you forgotten all the rules of this house !!!" barked Nyonika

"I am so sorry ma'am I didn't see you coming it's my fault I wasn't looking I am sorry please forgive me.... please mujhe maaf kar dijiye..." said Nandini fumbling with words scared of the devil in front of her

"Oh of course it's your fault bloody low class liability.... you spoilt my dress bloody middle class now get lost from my site" screamed Nyonika

Though Nandini felt bad but still she ignored because she wasn't in a position to speak. She was just a maid in the Malhotra mansion though she was not treated as one when Mr. Malhotra was alive. He always treated her as his own daughter but after his demise Nyonika made her life hell and made her work day and night as a maid in the mansion and now this was her reality.

It was evening now guests had started to come and the hall was totally packed with people .
Delegates, celebrities ,politicians and what not.

All were waiting for my manik .Everyone is happy for the boy but ,nyonika was happy because her evil intention was about to get fulfilled .Her plan was about to get successful but I guess God did not wanted it.He had something else in stored for her

Finally the time was here Manik was happily descending down the stairs

Looking as dashing as always. Nandini was serving the guests when she saw him descending down the stairs.Her eyes were struck on him. yes ,she had a crush on him since childhood ,from the time she came into the mansion she liked him very much. she used to do all his works till now from preparing his breakfast to arranging his books and clothes. From cleaning and laundering his clothes to making notes for him in the class everything. Mr. Malhotra had also send Nandini to School so yes ,she was educated.

She was looking at him and thinking all these things when all the happiness shattered into pieces when his foot slipped and he came tumbling down the stairs right near her feet .She was shocked !She looked at his face .It was bleeding. Instantly the tray of food slipped off Hands . she instantly sat down on the floor taking Manik's head on her lap trying to stop the blood with her hands. she screamed...

" somebody help someone call the ambulance !!...Khade kya hain aap log!!?"
Screamed nandini with tears....

While all were shocked on their places...

Finally the ambulance was there .He was taken in the ambulance to the hospital soon he was in the OT. Nandini was all this time standing outside the operation theatre her white dress was all covered in blood and Nyonika was in a state of shock....

People thought she was shocked seeing her son's condition but actually in reality she was in shock because her plan failed .But still she thought that still there is a hope.

After 6 long hours the doctor came out of the OT Nyonika and Nandini rushed to the doctor...

" Dr how is Manik ?!!is he alright ?!!was the operation successful?" asked Nyonika

"Doctor Manik thik hain na is alright right ?" Asked Nandini worried

"Operation to successful Raha Lekin i can't say anything now... Manik ko hosh Aane Par hi pata chalega ki kitni geheri chot hai... "said the doctor.

Saying this doctor left ...nandini was still in tears while Nyonika was still busy in convincing her mind that there is still hope for her plan to get successful.

Soon Manik was shifted in a private VIP ward. Nandini was sitting beside him on the stool waiting for him to wake up and Nyonika was nowhere to be found....

The whole night passed by and after 12 long hours Manik gained his consciousness. He fluttered his eyes trying to adjust to the bright light ...then he saw someone holding his hand and sleeping beside him resting her head on the bed in a sitting position. He looked around only to find machines beeping and he panicked...

Sensing his movement nandini woke up only to find him panicked...

"Manik...u are up...aap theek hain...? Kaisa feel kar rahe hain aap ab..?"She asked softly...

But Manik immediately shunk back into the bed and tried to move away as far as he could...

"ko...kon...ho...tum....mujhe ye...yeh kahan lekar aayi ho....leave...me ........mu...jhe chodo..."he said shaking his head like a 3 year old stammering ...

Nandini was shocked at her place....what was happening....just then Nyonika entered the ward...and started showing fake motherly care shoving nandini away while she was still shocked on her place..

"ma-Manik.... Mere bachhe.... Tu theek toh hai.... I was so scared watching you in that state.... " said Nyonika displaying her big crocodile tears. She hugged him tightly.

But the reaction which she got made her horrified

" nahi chodo mujhe...! who are you....!? leave me...! Main main Mujhe Chod Do I want to go from here...!"Manik pushed Nyonika crying like a baby barbering like a 3 year old stammering at each sentence making Nyonika shocked on her place..

Nandini was still shocked on her place....

" what the hell is he saying I need to call the doctor!"

Herself talk was interrupted when the doctor came and and started checking Manik

Watching this Nandini immediately rushed to his side taking slow steps and talking to him...

" Manik Shhhh... its alright koi Tumhe hurt nahi karega please trust me I am a friend I'm not here to hurt you...." said Nandini walking slowly towards him extending her hand

" yo-you you won't hurt me pa-pakka...?" Asked Manik in tears still confused but watching Nandini don't know why he had begun to trust on her words.

" yes Manik pakka promise I won't hurt you and I won't let anyone hurt you please let me be by you side promise I'll protect you please trust me" saying this she reached him finally still her hand was extended towards him to hold.

Manik looked in her eyes innocently for a moment and then raised his hand and held hers . Nandini smiled warmly at him and entwined their hands tightly giving an assurance that she wouldn't let go no matter what the situation is, what the circumstances are .She will always be by his side.

When the doctor game started moving towards him to inspect him he started to panic...

"shhhh..... Don't panic I'm with you... no one will hurt you just trust me ok...?" Said Nandini gently helping him to sit straight Manik immediately calmed down hearing this .It seems that he trusts her.

Doctor check Manik and with a serious face he turned around anticipation was clearly visible on everyone's face on specially on nandini's face because she was worried for Manik and on Nyonikas face because she was worried because the property what's slip of her hands if something happened to Manik

" doctor mera beta kaisa hai is he alright Aise Kyun behave kar raha hai..?" asked nyonika.

" main Ne Manik ko examine Kiya I'm very sorry but uski chut Itni gehri hai that it has affected his brain in such a way that he is gone back in time and again behaving like a child uski chot ki Karan baccho Jaise behave kar raha hai" said the doctor.

Nyonika left from their without saying anything... But nandini was still there...

"doctor Uncle Kya Manik Kabhi theek nahi honge....? "asked nandini praying the answer to be yes...

The whole Mansion was dark not even a single person was present there outside it was raining heavily the wind was blowing fiercely....

And the sound of breaking of things was echoing in the mansion.....

"nai mujh-Mujhe medicine nai khaki.... Chhee ganda hota hai...! Dost plz unhe Bolo na yeh leke jaye... "said Manik whining like a baby...

Nandini just smiled at his baby antics and said..

"Manik ....aap good boy Ho na chalo have this achhe bachhe aisa nai karte... Have it... Come on... "said nandini lovingly

"nai na dost plz.... "said Manik.

Yes she knew all along. She knew everything .the moment Nyonika entered malhotra mansion she got only negative vibes from that women and soon her intentions were not hidden from her anymore. She wanted to inform Mr. Malhotra about it but his sudden demise shattered everything. And after that she was only just a mere maid in their house. Due to circumstances She had to keep quiet.

"jhu-jhuth... Mujhe pata hai tum jhuth bol Rahi ho.... Wo-wo Mujhse pyaar nai karti.... Mei-mein bimar hun na Issiliye.... Tab-tabhi Wo Mujhe akela Chod kar chali gayi..... Han mu-mujhe pata hai.... "Manik said shaking his head frantically agreeing to his own talk.

Nandini was helpless now... But still she had to divert his attention from this topic somehow....

"achha OK OK Manik aap yeh Sab chodiye.... Mein aapko Kuch special dikhaun..?! "nandini said acting all excited.

"special?! Kya hai dost...?! Dikhao na... Plz plz plz... "Manik said almost jumping on his place like a baby all excited.

"Manik! Aap injured Ho na baba... Don't jump... Mein Dekha Rahi hun na... Hush now... Sit like a good boy..... "said nandini politely with lots of love and care

Manik put a finger on his lips looking like a cute sa bachha... And tried to sit up when nandini helped him gently supporting him by putting her hand on his back.

Finally she helped him sit up resting his back with the bed rest.

She walked to the flat screen in the room and switched to a cartoon channel....

Just then a ward boy came and said the doctor wants to meet her.

Yes the doctor knew as he was a very close friend of malhotras. He was their family friend as well as doctor.

nandini stilled for a moment in deep thoughts .yes...exactly what was he to her...?she had also questioned the same thingto herself once .was he just her crush?was he just the son of the person who gave her shelter and helped her to get educated..?the only answer she got was FAMILY. He was her only family .Maybe more that just a family.HE WAS HER HOME.HER REALITY.HER PAST.HER PRESENT.HE WAS HER EVERYTHING.

And when his life is at stake i can't leave him just like that ....he is not just my family but more than a family to me. He is my home."nandini said all this in a trace all lost in her thought process.

The doctor's eyes got moist hearing all this he already knew that this is not just about family but more than it and it is something which was going to be there forever. And he knew that this was beyond any crush or infatuations. But he choose to keep quiet and let the child realize herself.

"ok beta you go Manik akela hoga and take care."said the doctor smiling.

"ok uncle...good night."nandini said and took her leave.

Just then nandini entered with the medicines...

The nurse went away smiling... And nandini went and sat beside him while he had hung his head low....

After 2 days....

Finally Manik got discharged and they waited for the car but it never came. Nandini thought it was weird but chucked it. It was evening by now so they decided to take a cab and go home instead.

They took a cab and went home. Manik was all chirpy and happy to enter his house though He lived there his entire life buy now things were different it was all new for him....

But their happiness was shot lived. As Manik was about to enter the mansion..... Someone pushed him and he stumbled badly but before he could fall nandini supported him...

"Manik! Aa-aap aap theek ho na....?!Kahin chot toh nahi ayi...?! "asked nandini panicked. She started checking for injuries on Manik...
"mei-mein theek hun star Mujhe Kuch nahi hua..... "said Manik assuring nandini.

Nandini sighed in relief but instantly her worry was taken over by furry... Who had dared to push her Manik like this! Wait her Manik?!

She looked ahead two security guards were standing in front of them and behind them was the devil herself Nyonika Malhotra.

She was standing there with a smirk.

But before the guards could come towards Manik nandini stood in between them like a wall.

"don't you dare! Sochna bhi mat! Agar Manik ko haath lagane ki bhi koshish ki na toh Dono haath pair Tod dungi...! "said nandini roaring in furry.

While Manik was behind nandini scared.

"Aur aap kaisi maa hain...!aapko sharam nahi Aati?! Aapne hi bete se iss tarah bartaw karte hue?! "asked nandini angrily.

"sotela beta......! he is not my blood.... Aur Waise bhi he is now of no use to me... "said Nyonika showing her bitchiness as always.

It was night by now.... Both Manik and nandini were sitting on the bench the road was totally stranded. Nandini didn't know what to do at this point. She was still startled by nyonikas behavior .how can a mother be so cruel..?!doesn't she have even a little ounce of motherly feelings in her for manik..?!

She brought some bread and juice... She opened her purse to pay and saw only a few few 10 rupees note and one 100 rupee note were left.

Hospital ka bill Aur Manik ki dawaiyon ke baad Le de Kat sirf itne hi paise bache Hain.... Abhi toh Manik ko check ups ,tests ,khana peena insab cheezon ke bhi kharche hain....aise kaise Ho paega... Uppar se Rehene ke liye Ghar bhi dhundna hai... Kaise hoga sabkuch...

Her trance was broken by the shopkeepers voice...

"kitne paise hogaye bhaiya..?"asked nandini politely.

"100 rupai hogaye madam"said the shopkeeper.

She silently paid the shopkeeper and went back but only to find manik missing.Her heat beat stopped right there.
