"So...tell me something about yourself?" nandini asked to the boy whom she had come to see for her marriage...

Actually not for her but his marriage...His parents were the one who had come to her house with marriage proposal but her parents had declined it saying nandini will marry whenever she want....After all she was their only child and her every wish was fulfilled...But she had never gone overboard...So her parents trust her to the fullest...

"I am manik ....What about you?" the boy finally spoke..in all the happenings this is the best she thought ..Not because of the handsome hunk sitting in front of her but something else..

First of all...in morning she was called to office though it was weekend...She had to sacrifice her beauty sleep..All her plans of weekend were cancelled cause she had to submit all the presentation that was to be submitted after 2 days till evening ...so her whole weekend went in dustbin...After skipping her breakfast and lunch and working continuously she was able to complete the presentation and show it to her so called boss before deadline...

After submitting also she didn't receive appreciation...Leave appreciation..she didn't even heard a word..At least he should have courtesy to ask if I had food but no how could ...Neither he eats nor let's other to eat...He just nodded his head and left for meeting...But finally she thought she was free...Pls remember the key word thought...

Because as soon as she have left the office her dad called her saying to meet that boy for once as their parents are irritating them by continuously calling..How can their princess let them down so she agreed...

She had been waiting for the boy in a roof top restaurant which gave a mesmerizing view since more than two hours ..But she didn't mind it at all because she didn't knew how the time flew as she was doing her favorite thing...Eating her favorite food ...at this time whatever she ate was her favorite after all she had not had anything except for water.... sitting in her favorite restaurant and listening to the music enjoying the view...

"Miss murthy?" a boy ..err...she was not able to describe him as he was a GREEK GOD himself...She just nodded as yes...

"I am so sorry for being late.." saying so he just sat down when he noticed how content her face is..the continuous smile on her face while she looked at him made his heart skip a beat but only she knew what was the reason behind the smile..There was a peaceful silence between them...

The boy was lost in nandini while nandini was lost in him..that's what he thought but nandini was lost in the mesmerizing view from the roof top which was infront of her ..that is just behind manik...Earphone was still plugged in her one ear which was covered by her long black hair..so the boy could not notice it..

Nandini was waiting for the boy to start the conversation but he was just lost in her so she took the initiative by asking about him while he just told his name not even surname and asked about her..This was something interesting..

"Hi... it's nandini..and by the way you don't need to be formal...you can say whatever you want.." nandini said with a content smile...He smiled a little as he was nervous for the first time in his life...He was known for his attitude, aura, confidence but everything went in vein seeing her all calm and composed...

He had though that it will be little easy for him to make her understand how much he loves her if she had fought with him for being a jerk and sending his parents with marriage proposal but here she was all calm and composed..He had known that she was a girl with patience but he didn't knew that she has so much patience..After waiting for 2 hours also she was in so good mood..He was so much impressed...

"Actually..err...I am nervous..." manik confessed sincerely while nandini was surprised shocked..everything...She could not control her laughter...

"Sorry..but that was funny...The boy who sent his parents to talk to my parents for marriage is nervous ..That's quiet unexpected..But may I know why are you nervous.." nandini was now finding this conversation interesting..so she took out her earphone from her ear and placed it safely in her bag...She now shifted all her attention to manik..

"I am not able to figure out that myself..May be because it's my first time..." manik said while nandini went aww in for his cuteness...

"Okayyyyy..So it's your first time for meeting a girl or for being nervous.." nandini asked with a slight tease..He noticed the tease... he rubbed the back of his neck...

"Umm...for both actually..." he said while staring at her ..right in her eyes and she was sure that he was saying the truth....

"Manik... you know you are too cute....So let's make it easy for you...you can consider me as your friend with whom you are most comfortable...And let it all out.." nandini tried to make it easy for him but how can he be so sorted..

"Actually I don't have any friend...err..girl friend..." manik confessed without looking at her because he was sure she will tease him but nothing of that sort happened..

"Ok ..then what is the thing you are most comfortable with? " nandini asked manik who was taken aback by this sudden question as he had not expected something of that's sort..

"Can we talk over a cup of coffee? " he asked quiet unsure...nandini just nodded while manik called a waiter..

"So what would you like to have? " manik asked giving her the menu but nandini spoke without even looking..

"1 Cappuccino for me..1 Espresso and your special for sir....that's all..Anything else manik ..." nandini asked to manik but he nodded in no while the waiter passed a smile and left from there...

"So you do not want to marry me" manik stated but it was rather like a question...nandini said directly looking in his eyes..

"I am not sure whether I want to marry or not...Neither I have any reason to marry nor any reason not to marry .." manik just smiled at this while the waiter came with the order..

"But this is just 1 plate..miss murthy ..." manik said eyeing nandini as waiter brought 2 coffee and a plate with their speciality...

"Ma'am is vegetarian while this is non-veg ...." the waiter informed and left from there...nandini was observing each and every expression of manik..

"Miss murthy you should have ordered something veg so that both of us can eat..wait let me order something for you..." manik said while taking the menu...manik was going to call waiter when nandini stopped him..

"Manik..2 hours were enough for me to eat peacefully and rest ..." nandini said while manik looked at her confused...But nandini didn't clarified anything and gestured him to have his food while she took the sip of coffee...She was continuously observing him while he was avoiding any eye contact...

Manik finished eating his food while nandini finished drinking her coffee followed by manik as he has the habit of drinking coffee at once due to his hectic schedule ..

"So ..you love me.." nandini said straightly while manik didn't know what to say...He just kept on staring at nandini ...Nandini just got the answer ...His eyes were only filled with love..pure love for her..

"But I don't...so why should I marry you?" nandini asked while he didn't have anything to say..Yes she was right ..He had never done anything to impress her..Forget about impressing He had not even dared to confess his feelings to her...Getting no answer nandini stood up ..

"It was nice meeting you Mr.Malhotra.." saying so nandini started to move while manik didn't know what to say as he had expected something of this sort that she will reject her..

"Err...Though I have come to meet manik but not mr. malhotra...but also.." nandini spoke while turning around..manik at once looked at her..Taking it as a clue she spoke..

"Just because I don't get hurt by your words talking to me just to give me work...Taking care of me every time without even sparing a glance at me...Making my weekends horrible by cancelling my plans with my boy friends yet making it perfect...Reasons are many more for which I can marry you but I want the perfect reason in words sir.." nandini stressed the last part as it was the main problem with her so called boss who loves her but can't say it a loud...

"Means you won't marry me.." manik said with dejected face and nandini wanted to bang his head not her but his head into the table....

"Wow..really wow...Mr.Manik Malhotra...you can't try also...Great...I wouldnot have come here if I had knew you were the boy who sent the proposal..But also I came ...When I saw you I thought finally you will confess but no from whom was I expecting..." nandini snapped at manik and was about to go when manik spoke...

"Nandini..." and this was the first time manik has used her name and it just sound perfect from his mouth ...She was dying to hear it and he said but she was pissed right now so how could she acknowledge...But also she looked at him..

He took some steps ahead and took her hands in his....Her kept staring in her eyes,,,There was an intense eyelook..

"I love you nandini..I love you very much...Will you marry me?" finally he said it..he didn't broke the eyelock nor did she...He was waiting for her reply...

"I need a proper proposal...Everyone should know that Nandini Murthy is being proposed...After all she is soon to be Mrs.Nandini Manik Malhotra.." said so nandini left from there while manik was left staring her disappearing figure..

"It's going to be tough Manik Malhotra...She will make you dance on her finger tips and you won't be able to deny...Damn..I have fallen head over heels in love with this girl..." thinking so he also went behind her..
