Is he going to do it ? Nandini thought to herself. She was playing a game of chess wid a close friend of hers.
He had recently been in an accident and had lost all his memories that had lad up to the accident.
Including the confession he had told her hours earlier the accident.
Which left her wid a heart which was broken into zillion pieces but at least he still remembered that they were best friends. That was all that mattered now.
"Checkmate..!! dekha bacchu The Manik malhotra ko harana mushkil hii nhi namumkin hai " manik exclaimed,wid her all tym famous smirk, breaking nandini out of her thoughts.
"Seems so." Nandini smiled.
Manik tilted his head to the side & asked,
"Something wrong? "
what? No." She said wid a fake smile.
"C'mon nandu even you knw that u cnt lie at least not in front of me. You seems a bit disappointed."
Nandini's pov
I wish manik, i wish mai tumhe sab bata pati. But no. Every thing is finished now.
Kuch bhi nhi bacha.
Why god ?? Why ??
Kya galti thi meri ? Why you did this to me ? I truly loved manik is that mistake?
Tears started forming in the cornerof her eyes. but she manged to control them.
Pov's end.
"aree aisa kuch nhi hai manik" she said.
" then stop forcing yourself to smile around me." Manik said harshly.
Nandini blinked and looked down to the chessboard. A lone tear rolled down her cheek.
N off course manik noticed that.
He cupped her face n asked her
"What's bothering you? Tell me.., we'll both find out the solution.
Nandini hugged her wid all her strength.
Manik hugged her back.
"I'm sorry." She said quietly
Manik shook his head.
"Stop crying and don't apologise. It makes me feel horrible." He said irritated.
Nandini looked up and anger was visible in his eyes.
He never liked when nandini apologised.
"Waise abb tum match jeet gaye ho toh humari icecream party confirmed right?"
Nandini said to change the topic.
"Yaa obviously Ms. Murthy. Kaise que puchti ho tum bhi."
"To chale ??"
" haa derr kiss baat ki?"

After coming home nandini opened the door of her room and slammed it.
She threw herself onto her bed and start sobbing.
Remembering all the moment spent wid manik. Soon she cried herself to sleep.
- Days later...
"I Don't think she'll pull herself out of this one." Said cabir.
"I don't think so either. After all, Manik did ask her out hours before the accident n now that he lost the memory of that? It was amazing she could pull through weeks of that torture. Aliya said.
"After all its not easy to accept ... the person you loved wo tumhe ek din infact few hours mai bhul jaye. ..n wo person tumhare pass hoke bhi pass nhi hota... I wouldn't have last a day if my boyfriend forgot about me like that.''mukti said while sobbing.
"She hasn't eaten for days though. The president is getting worried. He doesn't want to lose one of his strongest n favourite singer." Abhi said wid his brotherly concern.
"True." The whisper eventually faded n nandini was able to go back into her dreamless black slumber.

After ice cream treat manik went home n saw nayonika talking wid a doctor.
D : don't worry Mrs. Malhotra. Maine medicines change karr di hai...jiss se manik ki injuries recover ho jayengi but usski yad'dash wapas nhi ayengi.
Agar yeh medicines uss ne nhi li toh 2 4 days mai uss ki memory aa sakti hai toh make sure ke dis full week wo yeh medicines le.
N : great Mr. Khanna. But yeh baat kise pata nhi chahiye ki maine usski medicines badlne kaha tha.
D : don't worry about that. U can trust me.
N : good...! Now u can leave.

Manik's room
Manik was sitting on my bed tuning my guitar when nayonika entered in his room
Wid fake motherly concern.
N : manik beta how are u nw ?? How r u feeling? ??
M : That's not ur concern. Get lost from my room. He said in a cold tone.
N : Manik...she shouted. I'm ur mother.
M : Mother....huh. manik laughed in a sarcastic tone. Mother, aisi mother jo apne khud ke beteki memory wapas na aaye iss liye medicines change kare...
N : what are you talking about manik ? I didn't get u.
M : ohh just shut up okay. Stop faking .

M : soo...agar apni image tumhe pyari hai...toh get the hell out of this house.
N : I'm ur mother manik...how can you do that? ?
M : The way u did to me. Now have dis clear in ur mind agar tum muze iss ghar ke aapas even is shahar mai dikhi toh samjhlo dusre din newspaper mai headline tumhare naam ki hogi. Now get lost.

Manik's pov.
I really don't know what relation i was sharing wid nandini before my accident but today when she hugged me i felt completed.
I felt like I have found my soul mate but i think before accident hum besties hi the.
But then yeh kya feelings hai ???
Am I falling for her? ???
No manik u cnt do this...she is ur bestie man..
How can u even think like this.
Mere sawalon ka jawab muze kuch dino mai mil jayega...
soo i decided not to contat nandini untill sach muze pata lage.
- few days later.
Nandini;s pov.
1 whole week paased. pure week mai nhi manik muze dikha nahi humara koi contact hua. i was dying to see him. i tried to call him but his fon was switched off.
I was damn worried for him.
i decide to go to his home. but i was too weak..but manik was imp than me.
nxt day i left for malhotra mansion.
my taxi stopped in front of a big villa. i walked in.
Manikkkk... i shouted..
no response.
i again shouted manikk...still no response
i decided to check in his room. i was on stairs suddenly i felt dizzy picture in front of me was getting blur..suddenly a bright light fall on my eyes.
manikkkkk... i screamed.
Manik's pov.
i was in my room. i was soo happy it was the best day of my life. finally i got my memory back. muze sab yaad aa gay. soo i was right. she is my soulmate.
she is the girl of my dreams. now i got ti know the reason behind her weird behaviour.
but i must say.. Ms. nandini murthy is a very strong girl. dnt worry baby doll. today gonna be our day. wait till evening.

His chain of thoughts were broken a voice.
Is that nandini ?? he thought.
naah..woh yaha kaise ayegi,,tu bhi na manik ...he said to himself.
he again heard a shout ....
he came out of the room to check..n the scene in front of his was enough to make his blood dry.
Nandin's foot tripped on stair n she fell n came down rolling in stairs.
she fell on the floor.
She was fainted.

In the hospital...
Nandini was half conscious.
"NANDU! NANDU!! Oh plz, plz wake up! Don't let me lose you like this.
NOT this way! Not after all those weeks of not remembering what happened. Nandini! Nandu! Nandu."
A voice called out to her in her black corner.
'Who was it?" She thought.
' I heard a familiar voice...but i ignored it.'
She turned her head from the light tht was shinning down on her from her dreamless sleep.
"Jaan...plz wake up. Plz wake up my love. Come on, don't u want to punch me in the face for forgetting u? Come on, baby girl.
I know u can do it. Just open those beautiful eyes of yours." Desperation filled the voice.
'Desperation doesn't fit this voice. ...
'she thought. It's an awful lovely voice though.
But vo tha kon ??
I failed to recognise the voice.'
"Dekho nandu ager tumne aankhe nhi kholina toh mai tumse kabhi baat nahi karuna..kabhi nhi...plz open ur eyes..nadu..."
sadness dripped from the voice.
She felt something wet fall onto her cheeks. 'What's this wet stuff? She wondered. The wetness started falling faster
"Jaan ....please. ...I love u." The voice said. 'Love? She thought.
'My loved one has forgotten me...manik. ...tears flowed from her eyes.
"NANDU? Nandini! Wake up...aur kitna tadpaogi muze uth jao princess. Don't cry. I'm here.
Open ur eyes n tell me who it is that u want to kill the most for forgetting a princess like u come on"
Hope filled the voice. She looked at the light n reached for it.' I want to get out of here.' She thought.
Nandini opened her eyes lightly n saw manik leaning over her....."Manik. ..? She croaked out.
"Nandini. " he said softly. He leaned down n softly kissed her. "I love you. " he said against her lips.
Nandini smiled n replied,
I love you too, you idiot.
Maniks pulled her in his strong protective embrace.
nandini clutched his blazer wid her tiny hands.
M ; dont..dont u dare to do this wid me again.
his blazer was getting wet by her tears.
manik broke the hug.
while cupping her face he said '' baby shuush..dont cry. dont cry im here na..now dont cry.''
by saying this he kissed her forehead. n then her eyes n cheeks.
he was nibbling her lobe. she shuddered badly n held him tightly.
thanku manik. she said sobbing.
thanku to u jaan for evrything. he said still nuzzling in her crook oh her neck.
Ma-mani...!! nandini stammered badly.
shhh..! Manik shushed her by placing his finger on her pouty lips to which she gulped her saliva.
manik was enjoying this state of her. but he decided not to tease her more.
without waitng further manik fused his lips wid nandini's n she clutched his collar tightly.
THAT DAY WAS THE BEST DAY IN MANIK'S AS WELL AS IN NANDINI'S LIFE.......
