That day was very hectic for fab 4, navya & Abhi…. All the preparations were going on & they all were managing it very nicely. Manik got up & saw the time, it was already 10 am. He was late & thus got ready fast…. As he got ready, he called his friends but all were busy in something or the other. He got down frm his room to the living area. Servants asked him for breakfast but he refused & said that he will have it latr…. He called nandini…
Nandini: hello manik!!! Good mrng..
Manik: Good mrng!!!
Nandini: so finally v r here… today is the day, our day….
Manik: yes….. finally!!! But first tell me, did u drink anything or not….
Nandini: drink???
Manik: yes…. U can’t eat anything but u can atleast drink something, such as tea, coffee or the best one is juice….
Nandini: manik…..
Manik: What??? I don’t want u falling weak. Just go n hv a glass of juice… Right now!!
Nandini: ohk baba wait…. I’ll hv it n call u back…
Nandini went to the kitchen & had a glass of juice. She saw her family & her friends preparing for the wedding functions & thanked her ayiaapa 4 their presence in her life. She returned to her room n called manik.
Manik: u had it???
Nandini: yes… I did…
Manik: ohk now hold on…
Manik kept his hand on his phone speaker, went to the kitchen & asked rama gor a glass of juice, he had it & then returned to the living room.
Manik: yes now say…
Nandini: what r u doing manik??
Manik: nothing… just sitting here n gettiing bored….. every1 is busy in the preparations & I hv nothing to do…
Nandini: same here… but kavya is giving company to me…
Manik: aww… my baby doll is so sweet..
Nandini: wait talk to her..
Nandini passed the phone to kavya…
Kavya: hello chachu..
Manik: hello my baby..
Kavya: chachu I m so excited, today it is ur marriage na..
Manik: yes baby… u knw I m missing u so much…
Kavya: then come here na… we’ll hv fun..
Manik heard her n realised going there will get him meet nandini as well… he got happy n said,
Manik: ohk wait… I m coming
Kavya: no no…. u don’t come, u r not allowed to meet nandini chachi, I’ll come there to u…
Manik: who told u that I m not allowed to meet ur chachi…
Kavya: mumma…. She said that if u come here & try to meet chachi… then I must stop u n tell daddy…
Nandini smiled at it, as kavya passed the phone back to her.
Manik: see ur friend…. She is encouraging kavya not to let us meet…. How can she do this???
Nandini: manik…. Just a few more hrs & then we’ll be together forever…
Manik: hmmn
Just then amms came into the room n said,
Amms: nandu, I wanted to talk to u..
Nandini: yes amms, just a sec..
Nandini(to manik): manik…. I m busy now, I’ll talk to u latr..
Amms smiled at her as she disconnected the call. Manik was thinking what should he do & then decided to go to the office. He reached the office at about 11:30 am. No one in his office also, knew about his maariage except his manager. As manik entered the office, his manager came running to him.
Manager: sir, u here today…. Today it us ur ma-
Manik: calm down satish…. Lets talk in my cabin…
Satish lokked here n there n realised that there were employees around. They both entered manik’s cabin.
Satish: sir…
Manik: areey yr… u knw how my friends r… they r doing all the preparations & r not even letting me help… and above all I m not even allowed to meet nandini…
Satish: (smiling) sir… I think u all r lucky 2 hv each other in ur lives… u knw 2 yrs ago mukti ma’am too came to the office on the day of her marriage n gave me the same reason that u gave just now…
Manik: really???
Satish: yes sir…
Manik: chalo good… now that I m here tell me if anything very important is there, otherwise I think I hv to go through these few files…
Satish: sir there r a few documents that u need to sign… these r related to the album launch tommorow… I hv got it signed by the rest of ur friends only u r left..
Manik: ohh ya give it…
Satish got the documents signed & left his cabin. And with this manik got engrossed in his work. 2 hrs latr, at around 2 pm satish again entered his cabin.
Satish: sir… it’s the lunch break for the staff… should I send ur lunch in here???
Manik: no no thank u very much… I m fine..
Satish: sir at least hv something??
Manik: ohk fine… plz send me a coffee…
Satish: sure sir..
Manik picked up his cell n called nandini… kavya received his call

Kavya: chachi is with amms n her chachi, they r talking to her from hours..

And again manik got into his work. Satish asked him for lunch again, after sometime but manik again refused. It was around 4 pm, when fab4, navya & abhi all settled down at cabir’s place. Chachi, amms & nandini came out of amms room & kavya took away nandini with her.
Chachi: why r u all sitting like this & talking…. There is so much work…

Chachi: u all talk, I’ll go n check the food arrangements…

With this the three girls moved towards nandini’s room. When the girls entered Nandini had sent a msg to manik, as kavya told her too…

Cabir: ohh ya… he called me in the morning but I couldn’t talk much as I was busy……
Dhruv: ya he called me too… lets go to his place n check…
Cabir: no no, u n abhi, go get ready fast & then reach the venue & check the preparations for the last time. I’ll go n get him ready.

Cabir reached manik’s place in 10 mins…
Cabir (to servant): manik kahan h??
Servant: sir toh left the house in the morning only…

Servant: around 11 am…
Cabir: ohk fine…. (to himself) ab ye kahan gaya… nandini k sath bhi nahi tha… let me just call him n check…
Cabir called him but no one picked up the phone. Just then cabir got satish’s call.
Satish: sir, I hv called to inform u that all the preparations r done for tommorow & I hv invited the press saying that fab5 is going to address their fans after a long time & the party is for manik sir’s recovery.
Cabir: good… make sure everything is the best…
Satish: sir… why r u sounding so tensed…
Cabir: nothing bro… the mahurat is at 7:30 & manik is missing, he isn’t even picking up my calls…
Satish: but manik sir is in the office only…

Satish: yes he is working since 11:30 continuously. He didn’t even hv his lunch…

Manik picked up his phone n saw nandini’s msg…. he sat into the car with cabir & called her. And this time again she didn’t receive it, instead mukti did.
Mukti: hello my brother…
Manik: mukti not again plzzz…. Nandini ko phone de na…
Mukti: manik… don’t forget its her marriage today, she is the bride & bride needs time to get ready…. She is getting ready…
Manik: ohk fine just 4 a minute plz.
Mukti: sorry but she is busy & now u can talk to her only wen u meet her, that is at the mandap.
Manik: what the hell man….. firstly u were not letting me meet her, now u r not even letting me talk to her…
Mukti: sorry… now u get ready & let me also help nandini bye..
Manik: but-
Mukti disconnected the call. Manik turned towards cabir n saw him laughing. He hit cabir slightly & soon they reached his place. He got ready n was wearing a nice golden red sherwani & was looking not less than a royal prince. Nandini on the other side was wearing a red lehenga with heavy golden work & she was looking stunning. As she got ready, navya got amms n chachi to see her. Both of them got tears on their eyes. Amms applied a tikka behind her ear n kissed her. Soon they all left for the venue. And with this aliya, mukti & dhruv left to join manik in his soffesticated silent barrat. It was more a group of cars pacing together towards the venue than a barrat. The so called barrat reached the venue at 7:15 sharp. As manik got down of the car, kavya went running to him. Manik picked her up in his arms & entered after getting a pooja done by chachi. He sat at the mandap & the pandit began with the mantras, but manik’s eyes were just going from here to there. Dhruv noticed it & whisperedin his ears,
Dhruv: buddy, she’ll not come till the pandit asks navya, mukti n aliya to go & get her.
Manik smiled at him n tried to concentrate on the pooja. After sometime he remembered about nyonika n tried to find her but couldn’t get her. He called cabir closer & asked him about her. He told him that she was sitting at the other corner. Manik simply nodded at it. Just then the pandit said to bring the bride. All the 3 girls along with rishab, kavya & sameer went to get nandini & 2 mins latr, manik saw her getting down the stairs, with rishab n the 3 girls holding a chunni over her head as a shed. And as aliya had expected, manik’s jaw dropped as he saw her. Each n every guest present in the hall was discussing about nandini’s beauty. Aliya helped nandini to sit beside manik & whispered in manik’s ears..
Aliya: manik…. Every1 is here, I knw nandini is looking stunning but at least close ur mouth.
Nandini slowly smiled at her comment n they both started the pooja. Soon manik filled her hair line with the red powder & made her wear the mangalsutra. Then the pandit said,
Pandit: its time 4 the pheras, the groom’s sister should come n tie the knot.
Aliya & mukti together teid the knot & manik n nandini got up 4 the pheras. Manik requested the pandit for the meanings of the seven vows n they stared the pheras. With manik ahead in the first 4 n then nandini in the rest 3, they got it finished & the pandit announced:
Pandit: now onwards u both r husband n wife….. u can now take blessings from ur elders starting from the groom’s parents.
Manik & nandini went towards nyonika, who was actually shocked seeing this. They touched her feet, & she blessed both of them with a long n happy married life. Then the couple went towards amms, chacha, chachi & then came their loving friends. All of them hugged the couple, congratulated them n teased them.
Then came the time for the ‘Bidai’. Nandini was very much attached to her family but she had promised rishab that she won’t cry & thus they had a happy departure. But as the car moved on a lone tear rolled down her cheek. Manik noticed that & cupped her face in his hands.
Manik: nandini….
Nandini: manik… if amms & appa would hv been here, it would hv all been so different.
Manik: yes but who told u that they r not here….. u knw na they r there on my stars n they r watching us…. Think what will they feel about me if they see u cry just after getting married to me….
Nandini smiled at it & hugged him tightly.
Nandini: manik I can’t believe its done…. Till a month back I was not even knowing how r u & now we r together…. I m so happy, thank u very much…
Manik: ur welcome…. By the way HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY NANDINI…..
Nandini laughed at it n said,
