Man-" Listen Shikha, main koi boss ke saath flirt nahi karne wali yaa phir unka murder that you r not allowing me in. Just I want to talk to him about some business n it's not to be disclosed to any. Will you let me in?" She was highly frustrated now, she has been trying from the last half n hr to let her meet the head chief of the media but no this makeup cake is not letting her do so.

Everything was set. Last minute checks were also done just one thing was left that is calming down the monster who since last hour was continuously pacing in the garden. The k-sisters seeing their boss work himself into frenzy decided to talk to him.

Manik stared weirdly at the two sisters unable to follow their logic. He opened his mouth to argue but then closed it knowing it will be a lost fight. No one can win k-sisters in an argument not unless you want to lose the remaing brain cells responsible for your sanity.

Meanwhile, yash came there "guys, get ready, we have to be prepared. Manvi has handled the media. Food arrangements are taken care by Prithvi and cabir. Amaya and ruhaan, make sure the lightings change when sir proposes. K-sisters you know what to do. I will be taking care of projection when ma'am comes. And sir,..
Yash hesitates "please dont mess it up." Everyone chuckled except manik who scowled at yash.

After meeting Manik K-sisters came home along with Yash. All were sitting in the hall. And all meant M5 along with Shantanu, Ruhaan,Yash n Prithvi. Yuppp.... Manik had to tell Yash everything as he being his P.A. needed to handle the other media houses and the calls n texts of people. He got to know this from Manik and Prithvi was added in the team by Cabir. Cabir really liked the way he helped k-sisters in Maddy's case. And was sure he would be a great help.

And both the boys were having great fun with Mittal brothers. So currently they all were discussing the next part of their plan which would start early morning.

Amaya got up and went to search her phone as it was constantly ringing.

Everything was set. Lights were switched off. And Amaya entered the hall to see complete darkness.

Nandini could not sleep whole night as she was still confused with what will be Manik's surprise. She was trying to decode the emojis and also was successful to an extend it was about monster n his star which were MaNan together but she could not get what the rest meant.

Aakhir ye manik kehna kya chahta ha? Jis tarah se vo excited lagraha ha matlab bohot bada surprise ha. Par kya?" She bit her lips thinking hard about the puzzle which her monster gave. "Aapko toh patahai na ayappa how much I hate solving puzzles aur manik ko bhi aise hint dena tha uske vajah se ma raat ko so bhi nahi payi. Bas ab jaldi se surprise khul jaye and meko shanti mile."

On the other side, nandini was still trying to decode the puzzle when the doorbell rang.

"Itni subhe subhe kaun ho sakta ha? Manik k paas toh chaabi ha voh nahi hoga." Her eyes widened "kahin chor toh nahin, par chor darwaze ki ghanti kyu bajayega, hosakta ha sanskari chor ho?" When the doorbell rang once again she decided to open it but not before taking a small knife from kitchen.

Ma'am, your parcel has arrived." A small lanky man with a polite smile on his face handed nandini a parcel which was wrapped neatly in a big bow. "Excuse me, my work is done. Have a pleasant day."

"Wait, Hey? Listen, I have not ordered anything." She shouted but the man was already gone. Shutting the door, she stared curiously at the package whoever has given this must have done a lot of hard work to decorate it. She carefully opened the bow before undoing the wrapping. She gasped seeing the dress which now laid in front of her. It was a white criss-cross off shoulder blouse with a thin golden border on the v shoulder which highlighted her collarbones paired perfectly with a simple blue colour long skirt with flower prints.

Another knock comes on the door, this time it was navya who just barged in without any explanation and asked Nandini to get ready while she started typing something on phone.

After a minute, navya looked up and saw Nandini standing at the door looking bewildered. She sighed and said "Dekho Nandini, hum jaante Hain k tumhare dimaag ma bohot saare sawal honge par hum tumhe Kuch Nahi bata sakte Hain. Humne Shaitan(manik) ko vachhan Diya ha k hum tumhe Sahi samay p pohochadenge and tumhe Kuch Nahi batayenge. Isliye jaldi se kapde pehnlo and hume apna kaam Karne do." Saying this, navya handed her the clothes and pushed her into changing room before Nandini could protest.

After Nandini got ready, navya did her hair, twisting it in a loose updo. A few locks were left loose, gently touching her collarbones framing her cute oval face.

Navya led Nandini to their(manan) bedroom and went away saying her work is finished. The bedroom was pitch dark. The only source of light came from windows where sun rays seem to penetrate through the thick curtains casting a faint glow on it but even that wasn't enough. Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. She knew this has something to do with manik's surprise but what was she to do in a dark room. Her eyes scanned through the dark surroundings in a deliberate motion when she noticed that her sidetable was glowing. Curious, she moved to the other side of room, her eyes stopping on glowing jar. Her eyes squinted before realization stuck her. Fireflies. The glow was from fireflies. She squealed in happiness and opened the jar causing the little sparks to light up the whole room.

Her eyes widened and a small gasp escaped her lips as absorbed the view in front of her.

The whole room was covered in their memories. Their first meet, nandini's famous punch, first confession of love, them cooking together well attempting to cook as manik could hardly boil water, and lastly the golden day of her life, when manik proposed her to be his girlfriend. It was clearly etched into her memories when she officially became his and him hers. A small shiver seeped through her bones as she remembered the intense look in his eyes and the sincerity in his words blowing off her senses. She smiled looking at the photos, tears of happiness glistening in her eyes.

Her hands lifted up to caress the photo when she found a note sticking out from the photo frame. Oh, so this is not the actual surprise. Trust manik to always exceed my expectations. She thought before carefully opening up the note.

"I am standing at the place where for the first time our hearts sung together,
where dreams are born and time never matters,
watching the sunset, walking hand-in-hand,
all our worries come to an end as fireflies meet the stars as together they ride away darkness."

A faint smile played on her lips as she read the letter. Of course, she knew he meant. She carefully folded the note keeping it in her diary. Her feet as if having a mind of its own carried her to the destination of surprise.

Her breath hitched in her throat as her eyes took the surroundings into account. She was standing in their garden, their trusted secret keeper, the only witness of their love saga where under the blanket of stars, their souls shredded the last part of barrier before becoming one.

It was transformed into something magical. She felt as if she was in a dream, her mind unable to register what she just saw as real.

A stand of bamboo was made which was entwined in different types of flowers. Jars of fireflies were hanging from above, the lid covered in roses and lilacs. A path lead her to the center of garden which was covered in white roses making it seem like a heavenly abode.

Ethereal. The first word which came to his mind when he saw the beauty in front of him. The nervousness which he was feeling from last few days flew away and got replaced with an intense raw desire as his dark eyes assessed her from top to bottom, giving attention to even minute details, how the wind blew her loose hairs tickling her neck, how her plump lips opened in a small gasp, how her doe like eyes widened in wonder and astonishment, how the bangles adorned her milky white hands. Everything about her was driving him insane. He exhaled harshly trying to clear his thoughts and focus on making her dream come true.

Nandini felt a strong gaze on her and instinctively turned her head in that direction. She saw manik leaning against a tree with his arms crossed watching her intensely. A shiver ran through her spine, travelling deep to her bones as she caught the look in his eyes.

Manik pushed against the tree and began walking in her direction while holding her gaze. He walked until there was only a feet distance between them. He lifted his hand to tuck the loose hairs behind the ear which were obscuring his view of her, his hands lingering there for a few seconds.

Jaan, he said softly, his eyes holding a rare vulnerability as he stared deep into her soul.

I never believed in love, it was bulshit to me. I never thought that I was worthy of any happiness. Everyone I loved always went away from me crushing my heart in process. So, I started isolating myself, became a monster in front of everyone, build stone castles around my heart. I never believed in fairytales. But then you came in my life like a fresh gust of wind, painting my grey life in your colours. I saw the stars shining in your eyes so bright it touched my forbidden soul, your soothing voice calming my demons. Whenever your hands slipped through mine, I felt hope that I am not alone. From childhood I have always managed everything, you made me believe that there is someone who will always catch me whenever I fall. Then came the day when you agreed to be my girlfriend, the happiest day of my life. You fought with me, punched me, bear my tantrums but never left my side. Nandini, I can't promise you a perfect life, I can't guarantee that you will never cry because of me but one thing I can promise you is that I am always going to be with you, through thick and thin, through hardships and happiness I will never leave your side. I will still throw tantrums to gain your attention but I promise you that even though we will fight, you are still going to wake up next to me in the morning.
