Angel House

A girl was sitting in the open balcony sipping her coffee and busy admiring the wide sky full of stars. She was so busy in her own world that she didn't realize someone standing right next to her. The person took a look at her and then slowly took her mug of coffee from her hand snapping her out of her thoughts.

"Aree... Sharu tu kab aayi?"

"Tab jab aap kuch kuch hota hai ke sardarji ki tarah taare gin rahi thi. Btw I love your coffee Ammu Di." Sharanya mocked at Amaya taking a sip from her cup while all Amaya did was giggle hearing her comment.

"I wasn't counting stars Sharu, bas aise mazza aa raha tha khuli hawa mein. Tu bol kuch kaam tha kya?"

""Hawww, matlab ab kaam hoga tab main baith sakti hoon aapke saath? Yahi hai aapka pyaar mere liye?" Sharanya gave Amaya an angry pout while Amaya just laughed hugging her tight.

"Dramebaaz, ho gayi haan nautanki and mera pyaar tu bhi jaanti hai kitna hai." Sharanya laughed hugging her back and then they both sat on the mattress which was laid at the corner.

"Chalo now tell me what were you thinking?" Sharanya asked Amaya sipping the coffee turn by turn.

"I don't know, I mean not just one thing but a lot of things are running in my mind but yes one thing I guess which was more prominent was Manik's past and today how he finally accepted it and is trying to move on, today his parents would be really content." She gave her a small smile looking up at the stars.

" True that, he really have faced a lot but he could come out of this as he had people supporting him and helping him stand strong again. I guess once again that restaurant did it's magic. And the rest was done by our group after all who can not be happy when M6 tries to help." Sharanya winked at Amaya who nodded her head in agreement and they fist bumped. That is when they saw that Ruhaan was running after Shantanu in the compound of their building who had his phone in his hand.

"Aree, Ruhaan ko dekhke yaad aaya, you know what I saw yesterday when I went to the police station to give the proofs we collected against Nishant?" Sharanya suddenly stood up startling Amaya who asked her shrugging her shoulder.

"I saw Ruhaan coming out of the police station, though he didn't see me as he marched out like a angry bull from the PS and I couldn't stop him also."

Here Ruhaan was running after Shantanu who was jumping from one side of the garden to another waving Ruhaan's phone in his hand and laughing like a maniac.

(Now guys imagine the coming conversations in split scenes, Amaya and Sharanya would be talking at their terrace while Shantanu and Ruhaan are in the compound garden)

Ruhaan-" Shaan phone de mera, I said give me my phone."

" Kyunnn.... aisa bhi kya hai ismein that you were smiling like a joker. Well I guess I know what is it or WHO is it but let me also see." Shantanu climbed on a chair when Ruhaan stopped abruptly hearing his bro.

Ruhaan-" Yaar what is your problem Shaan, main tere phone ko check karta hoon kya jo tu mere phone ke piche pada hai? It's bad manners to check anyone's phone chalo do mujhe I need to make an important call."

"Aahaan.. I know I know to that police officer right to give another dose to their guests and then leave them. Bhai aur kitna torture karega unn ladkon ko? They have already got your wrath yesterday and I guess now they will even run away if they see any girl at 1 mile distance." Shantanu got down from the chair smiling and huffing with all the running.

Amaya-" Ruhaan in police station, par kyun Nishant case se uska kya lena dena, I mean the pendrive was with you guys right?" Amaya asked being surprised while Sharanya nodded her head and then her face had a smirk.

" I was also confused as to why was he there and so I asked the officer there and you know what I got to know? *Amaya lifted her one eyebrow in a questioning manner* I saw those dumb-dicks who tried to misbehave with you some days back when we were heading home. Aree... woh jinko hamne maara tha and recreated mission mangal 2.0 fight scene. And Di, let me tell you, those boys were in very bad condition specially the one who had held your hand. Soooooo... should I tell you who did that to them?" Sharanya narrated the whole incident and at last asked Amaya or more of a tease.

Ruhaan-" haan toh kya? Yes I had beat them black and blue, I asked that police officer to give them shocks and lay them on ice cubes. Those bastards deserved it for misbehaving with my Rooh. How dare that dickhead even touch her hand, I would have chopped his hands then and there but I wanted the girls to be safe and drop them home, also they did showed them that girls are not weak and can protect themselves but still this didn't mean I could leave those rascals so easily. None, and I mean no one has a right to evetease or misbehave with girls if they find them alone. Aise hi chote chote harkaton ko ignore karke yeh ladke bade bade kand karte hai, abhi acha lesson mila hoga unhe." He was raging in anger while Shantanu had a proud smile on his face seeing his brother.

"Sahi kiya bhai tune, lekin Ruhaan yeh jo tere andar gussa aise hi nahi tha I had seen a mad rage in you yesterday which can't be just like this, yeh rage tab aata hai aapke andar, jab koi aapke apne ko hurt dekhta hai. Kabtak chupayega apne dil ki baat?" Shantanu asked Ruhaan who just found himself tongue-tied.

Amaya-" Ruhaan ne unko maara, aur itna extreme. He has always been a calm person and usne toh eahan uss spot par bhi kuch nahi kiya, infact he stopped us from hitting them more." Amay whispered slowly.

Sharanya-" Woh isliye as it was already late at night and he wanted all of us to reach safe home. Aapka mood yaad hai na kaisa tha uss din. He had thought about you at that time too and as you said he is always the cool one so he did what was right but still he let us fight our own battle but from back he also did his bit without letting anyone of us know. Well aisa rage tab hi hota hai jab koi aapke apne ko hurt kare Di. And his this act did prove that what you mean to him and even you know about this Ammu di but till when are you going to run away and ignore his feelings for you?"

Amaya-" Sharu stop! I'm not in a mood to talk about this, and you also just keep quiet teri behen ne sunna na toh tere ko chodegi nahi woh. I'm happy with what I have and more than that I have CB with me." She gave her a smile asking Sharanya to stop.

Ruhaan-" Till the time she doesn't come out of her past. I don't want to make Rooh awkward by sharing my feelings with her Shaan. She is my best friend first and then anything else and if she doesn't see me like how I do I have no issues with it. Apne khushi ke liye usse force nahi kar sakta main. She has some fears inside and that needs to be taken out before I tell her about my feelings and I'm ready to help her with that." He spoke looking at the stars.

Shantanu-" Kabtak wait karega tu? Yaar jabtak you won't make advancement tabtak how will she realise that even she have feelings for you? Tu aise silent lover banne kya puri zindagi baitha rahega uska wait karte?" Shantanu asked being annoyed to which Ruhaan just smiled nodding his head shrugging his shoulder a little.

Sharanya-" Why should I stop Di? Life mein move on karna padta hai, everyone's life is not the same. Agar kisi ek ki love life work nahi ki so that doesn't mean that aapki bhi nahi karegi. You say na that you believe in Manan wala love toh uske liye give it a chance. And we both know Cutie she won't tolerate your sadness__" At the same time they heard a voice at the back interuppting them.

" Tujhe sacchi lagta hai that I will keep you away from love? I will be the most happiest if you will get your perfect life partner Ami." There stood Neha who had a small smile on her face. She came searching for her dear sister and her lovely Ami when she heard their conversation on Ruhaan and stopped.

Neha-" Sharu sahi keh rahi hai Ami, you need to let things go and accept new things. I'm not saying about that duffer ok. I agree woh idiot kabhi kabbar acha kaam karta hai par and this time what he did was really for you and for the first time I'm proud of that Ruhaan chuhaan. Don't suppress your feelings baba, give your heart a chance baaki uss Ruhaan chuhaan ko dekh lungi main."

Amaya-" CB please yaar, I.. I don't know what to feel. I can't ruin other person's life cos of my insecurities. About Ruhaan I know his feelings for me but I also know this won't work so why give a person false hope? I have just you guys with me and I'm happy with that. You both sisters will not talk to me on this ever." She just kept her mug and left the place leaving the K-sisters sigh and look at each other.

Shar-" Yeh toh chali gayi. yaar till when will she blame herself and create a wall around her?" Sharanya sat on the mattress while Neha was looking at Ruhaan who was talking with Shantanu.

Neha-" I don't know Sharu but all I know is I will do anything which will make my Ami happy. And if it's with this duffer then he has to first prove it to us and most importantly to Ami."

Shar-" Tu sacch mein Ruhaan ki baat kar rahi hai? Hey are you fine Cutie, woh bechara toh agar sunega na that you took his side toh aise hi heart fail kar jayega bechaare ka." She laughed imgining Ruhaan's face.

Neha-" Who said I'm taking his side? Nope, I just want Ami's happiness and agar who banda try nahi kiya na kuch toh woh bhul jaaye that he ever knew a girl named Amaya. Waise bhi he has just crossed one hurdle, main sirf 60% usko accept ki hoon that too for what he did with those bastards. Baaki dekha jayega."

Shar-" You mean if he proves the rest 40% that he can be trusted with Ammu di toh tu jaane degi unhe Ruhaan ke saath?" She sipped her coffee looking at Neha with gliterring eyes.

Neha-" My sweet sistaaaa... NanJu ne bhi toh Shaan bro ko accept kiya tha na, par did she leave her LOVE, no right *Sharanya slapped her own forehead pitying Ruhaan now* Baad ka baad mein dekhenge ab chal sone." She looped her arm with Sharanya and the sisters left to have a good night sleep.

MURTHY HOUSE

The whole house was in total chaos and nothe M6 were not the reason. Today, it was the sweet and bubbly chachiji who was on a cleaning spree as if the house had never been cleaned before. Chachaji was looking terrified as he saw his wife's rushing on like a mad woman.

To his bad luck, she spotted him sitting idly on a sofa "Arey aap vaha sofe p akele baithe kya khoye hue hai? Bhulgaye kya aaj kitna bada din hai? Yahan mai subah se uthke kaam kari jaarahi hu and aapko kuch chinta hi nai hai" She glared at his husband

Chachaji sent a quick mental prayer to bappa and then pasted on his most charming smile "Meri pyaari theeki meethi shanno tu khamaka itna tension lerahi hai. Tughe pata hain k itna tension lene se tera bp high hojata hai and tu ab jawaan bhi toh nai hai"

"Kya kahan aapne?! Mai jawan nai hu apke liya?"

"Mera matlab hai hum dono ki abhi umar hogayi hai. Itna stress acha nai hai and vaise bhi aaj sirf panditji aarahe hai, baarat nai nikalrahi, thodi saaf safayi aage k functions k liye bhi baki rako" he said teasingly.

"Humph. Budhe honge aap, merii umar zarur badrahi hai par dil se toh jawaan hai. Vaise bhi Manu meko simran bulata hai and aaj bhi chahu toh ladke mil sakte hai mereko"

"Arey meri darling, usme koi shaq nai, aap toh heera hai log toh chahenge hi par phutti kismat unki k hum pehle tumhe mil gaye" shanno smiled softly seeing the love and adoration shining in his eyes. Even after 30 years of marriage, they both loved each other very much, its tone changing from the raging passion in the youth and settling to contendness with each other. She prayed that her children will also find the same peace in their marriage.

"Acha abhi apki cheezy lines bohot hui, aap nashta areange kijiye table pe main chai banati hu. Panditji abhi aate hi honge."

"Jo hukum mere aaka" he bowed dramatically while chachi shook her head at his antics. " Vaise humare panditji kisko apne jagah bhej rahe hai?"

"Unke hi ek shishya hai, pandit parvati sundaram. Mai mili unse, qpne dhun mai zyada jeete hai lekin shree ramchandra panditji ne khud unko select kiya hai"
They looked at a rickshaw arriving at their house "lagta hai panditji aagaye"

They welcome him inside.

"Dhaniyavaad, humare baare apko hamare guruji ne bataya hi hoga, humara naam shree shree shree parvati charnavati akhilanjali deepjyoti shyampriyati sundaram hai."

Chacha looked in faint shock "Yeh family essay bata rahe ho k naam!"

chachi elbowed him in the ribs "Venkatesh! Aapko kab kya bolna hai koi sense nai hai"

"Ow ow! Shanno meri jaana, mai kal hi spa jaake aaya hu, meri nazuk si twacha tumhare level ka atyachar nai seh sakti"

Panditji interrupted their bickering before chachiji's face could achieve tomato colour red "Humko koi pareshani nai hai, yeh pehle nai jinhone hume apne naam k baare mai pucha" he smiled "darasal jab humara janam hua tha, tab hamari amma ne mannat mangi thi ki beta hoga toh vo hume humare purvajo k naam saath mai degi, isliye itna bada naam hai"

Chachi- "Ladki hoti toh kya karte?"

Pandit - "Ladki hoti toh normal naam dete. Humari 6 behne hai, amma ko ladka chahiye tha isliye mannat"

Chacha and chachi nodded in understanding "acha abhi apki beti ki kundli match karni hai na?"

Chacha - "panditji humare manu and Nandini ek dusre k liye bane hai isme hum dono ko koi shaq nai hai, bacho ka engagement bhi hogaya hai bas shubh muhurat dekhke shaadi karani hai"

Chachi hamded the manan's kundli to the pandit.

Panditji did some calculations but then looked at the parents in disbelief before doing it again woth the same results. He was unsure how to tell them the devastating news.

Chachi looked worried seeing the panditji's expression "kya hua panditji, aap aise kyu ghure jaarahe hai? Mere bacho ka bavishya toh theek hai na?"

Panditji looked gobsmacked "hume pata nai yeh kaise hogaya lekin apki beti apko chuuna lagarahi hai"

Chachaji - "kya kehna chahrahe hai aap? Saaf saaf kahiye"

Panditji - "Kundli k hisaab se apki beti ki shaadi kabki ho chuki hai"

chacha-" Kya? Nandini ki dusri shaadi? Aree pagal ho gaye hai Kya aap? Theek se dekhiye kundli aap."

Chachiji - "Haan, Humari nandu aisa kabhi karhi nai sakti. Hamari bachi responsible hai. Arey nandini khud itni khush hai shaadi karne k liye, humse bina kahe vo itna bada ladam kabhi nai uthayegi. Aap phirse apne calculations check kariye, pakka kuch galti ho gayi hai.

Panditji looked helpless "humne 4 baar ginti ki hai, hum aisi cheeze seriously lete hai. Apke Bacchi k grah(planets) k hisaab uski shaadi ho chuki hai."

Chacha took the kundli from him only to laugh out loud which made Chachi irritated. 

Chachi-" Ab aapko uss kundli mein joke dikh gaya ki aap itna hass rahe hai?" 

Chacha-" Shanno ji yeh jiski kundli hai uski shaadi ho chuki hai. Panditji sahi keh rahe hai, aur usska pati yahan hai." He pointed at himself laughing and Chachi looked at the name on the kundli which was her's. In all the haste she brought her kundli and gave it to panditji who was matching it with Manik's." 

Chachi-"Aye haye... main bhi na, meri kundli kaise milegi Manik se, mujhe thodi karni hai shaadi, khamakha meri bacchi par ilzaam laga rahe the aap panditji."

"Kyaa? Chachi aap Manik se shaadi karoge toh chacha ka kya hoga? SRK and Kajol ki sacchi thodi shaadi kara sakte hai." There stood Cabir with Navya,MaNan and M5 girls who had come as invited by Chachi for discussing wedding preparations. 

Chachi-' Chup kar khotya, aisa kuch nahi hai. Woh toh galti se Nandini ki kundli ki jagah meri kundli dedi maine panditji ko. Main toh aise hi bohot khush hoon apni beti ko uske shahrukh se milake." She carressed Nandini's hair who smiled looking at Chachi's affection. 

Chacha-" Panditji main abhi Nandini ki kundli leke aaya, aap jaldi se shubh muhurat dekhke hae bataiye." He moved inside with Chachi and all the others took their seat where ever they felt like it's their own house.

Nandini sneaked out slowly from the house and came near the garden looking here and there to find her Monster Majnu.

Nandini-" Yeh dekho, mujhe yahan jaldi bulake yeh khud hi nahi aaya. Manik bhi na aise chup chupke kaun bulata hai milne? Shaadi ka bhoot alag hi savaar ho raha hai ispar. *she chuckled remembering the words written on the letter* Main toh aa gayi garden, par yeh kahan__" That is when she was back hugged and before she can say anything the voice she heard stunned her.

"Tumhara yun doctor banne ka kya fayda,
tumhara yum doctor banne ka kya fayda...
Agar tum iss kambakht dil ka ilaaj hi naa kar sako." 

"Sushi!!! So finally Miss busy doctor ko time mil hi gaya hamse milne ka and M6 ke saath aate hi tum wapas kahan gayi thi? I have been waiting for you for so long actually tujhe thanks bolna tha for consoling me that day and being my support." Nandini held the hands which were hugging her and broke the hug turning around only to leave the person behind her stunned while she also mirrored the same expression looking at him.

( Dear readers, can you guess who is this person hugging Nandini? *wink*)

Nandini-" RISHU ?!"

There Nandini stood stupified with what she heard and saw, she had come here reading Manik's letter but what she got to know now left her stunned. Rishab came here to meet a girl, but what the hell was happening. Rishab on the other side didn't know what to say, he came here to meet Suharika as he saw her going out of the house attending a call when he came out he saw a girl in black dress on the call and misunderstood it to be Suharika hugged her.

Rish-" Di... Di woh aap yahan?" He just didn't know what to say and that is when Manik also came and looked confused to find Rishab there.

Manik-" Hey champ tu yahan kya kar raha hai? Nandini yaar tumko akele bola tha aane yahan aur tum Rishab.." Before he could continue Nandini stormed out of there and Rishab started running behind her when he found Suharika at his door step talking with Neha who was confused as to why was Rishab running behind an angry Nandini.

Rish-" DI.. Nandu Di sunno na. Hey I'm.. I'm sorry." They had reached the hall and had grabbed everyone's attention who were now looking at the bro-sis duo with confusion.

Chachi-" Kya hua Nandini puttar, Rishu ki hoya? Nandini ko kisliye sorry bol raha hai?"

Nandini-" Chachi kuch nahi, kya main Rishab se akele mein thodi der baat kar sakti hoon?" She asked them all eyeing Rishab who gulped his saliva as everyone nodded their head. With this Rishab went upstairs following Nandini.

Neha-" Sumi, yeh Rishab aise kyun upar gaya? Waise jis tareeke se he was continuously saying sorry mere ko aisa kyun lag raha hai that she got to know about you two?" Neha whispered in Suharika's ears while she widened her eyes staring at her. Other girls also came standing around her.

Nandini's room

Nandini was roaming from one end of her room to another massaging her forehead while Rishab was sitting on the bed like a scared kitten.

Nandini-" Explain!"

Rishab-" I.. I'm sorry di." He meekly said which infuriated Nandini

Nandini-" Will you stop your tape recorder which is stuck on SORRY, and move head? Mujhe tere sorry ka achaar nahi banana hai Rishu, I want to know the truth. Tell me who is this Sushi and what exactly is there between you two?" She animatedly moved her hands around his neck to strangle him and then took it back leaving a huge sigh.

Rishab-" Sushi is Suharika, M6 ki member. We met through a dating app some months ago when she was in Delhi. And we met for the first time in person accidently in the hospital when I had admitted my friend. But I really like her Di." He closed his eyes and blurted out the truth.

Nandini-" You what??? You met her on a DATING APP. When did you started using dating app?" She was shocked will be an understatement while she was now looking at her brother with fish face.

Rishab-" I swear it was not made by me, it was my friends who created my profile there and Sush.. I mean Suharika was the only girl I talked with on that app. I also deleted my account on that app after that Di. Main.. main aapko batane wala tha about Suharika as now things got well, par aapko aise pata lag gaya." He pinched his throat giving her his best puppy face. Nandini just slumbed on his side while he scooted a bit far from her but then Nandini just pulled him towards herself and kept her head on his shoulder.

Nandini-" I'm a very bad sister na, I got so busy in my own life that I never got time to ask about your life." She mumbled while Rishab got startled on her sudden question.

Rish-" No di, aap world ki best Di ho and never call yourself bad. Bad toh main hoon jisne aapko kuch nahi bola." He side hugged her looking at her.

Nandini-" Nahi, tu bura nahi hai, I knew that something was there which you were hiding but still I didn't ask you. You are not just my younger brother but also like my son. Amma-Appa ke baad I took care of you and I should have given you that time like I use to but in all this I never sat with you for sometime so that you could share your feelings or your thoughts to me. Tujhe mauka hi kahan mila that tu mujhe batata, so definitely I don't have right to be angry with you for hiding." She sobbed as she spoke which made Rishab to break the hug and he sat on his knees in front of her.

Rish-" DI, Listen to me now aapne jo kuch bhi kiya hai na mere liye I can never ever question that and mujhpar gussa hone ka, daantne ka, maarne ka sabse pehla hakk aapka hai. You have been everything to me from a very tender age and I always feel lucky and proud that you are my sister and guardian. Aapko guilty feel karne ki zaroorat nahi hai Di, even you have your life and you need to prioritise things, last kuch months were difficult for all of us and specially you, please don't blame yourself for something which was not in your control. Aap intentionally nahi mujhe ignore kiye na, you had reasons and so did I. Now please wipe these tears off as I don't like my angel in tears." He wiped her tears as she was having a small smile on her face.

Nandini-" Manik was right, mera chota bhai bada ho gaya hai and more mature. yeh maturity suharika ke wajah se hai kya?" She started off being emotional but then commented in a teasing way which made Rishab completely red.

Rishab-" Diiiiii.. stop it ok."

Nandini-" Aree what Di? I want to know that how my brother became so mature that now he is even handling his sister? Also, Liking a girl and all haan." She playfully punched him while he rubbed his arms having a sly smile on his face.

Rishab-" Umm.. ammm kuch nahi aisa. And Suharika is more mature than me, doctor hai na she has to be mature. * he giggles* But Di ab aap bolo, do you like her? Maine apni feelings aise openly sirf aapke samne kholi. She doesn't know that I feel strongly for her. I mean dating and all is ok but I never told her as I wanted to be sure myself and then ask you first lke you said I'm your son too and meri life ki har badi moment and important decisions mein aapka opinion bohot matter karta hai." He looked at Nandini who was having a sweet smile now on her face looking at Rishab who's eyes spoke that he loves Suharika but still he wanted his sister's consent too which swelled his heart with happiness. 

Nandini-" You really wanna know? Dekh Rishu you are my brother and mere ko teri har baat asand aayegi but Suharika... I don'tt think so. I don't think that Suharika will ever be yours. I mean who will like a guy who has so bad pickup lines." She said all that so seriously that Rishab was stunned for a moment and it took him some time to process things out, and when he did he looked at his sister with gaping mouth. 

Rishab-" Di !!!! what the hell." he threw a pillow on her while Nandini laughed seeing his face. 

Nandini-" Nooo.. I'm serious. Like what kind of line was that? By god Rishu acha hua that Sumi was not there. Agar woh sunti na toh pakka tere ko reject kar deti." Rishab made a bad face hearing her while she hugged him tight. 

Nandini-" Chalo let's go down and tell everyone that Junior Murthy is also set." She teased him again but Rishab sttopped her. 

Rishab-" Di... I will tell chacha and chachi myself but baad mein. I mean not right now, first let me confess to Suharika then I will tell them myself. Tabtak aap kuch nahi bolna." Nandini nodded and the sibblings moved down only to see M6 girls sitting on one end and Suharika was the most tensed one. 

Manik-" Kya hua Nandini? Why did you leave like this?" He moved first to Nandini who smiled at him blinking her eyes to say that everything is alright. 

Nandini-" Aree kuch nahi just some bro-sis banters, sorted hai sab." She then moved to hug Suharika who got surprised but hugged her back. 

Nandini *whispered*-" I liked Rishab's choice. Don't worry Sumi everything is fine." breaking the hug she winked her while Suharika was having a tough time controlling her smile and Rishab also gave her a flierty smile make her blush. 

Manik-" So, chachi date kya fix hui shaadi ki?" Manik asked Chachi who was sitting with the pandit ji. 

Chachi-" Shaadi ki date 30 August hai. Mehendi aur baaki ke function uss hisab se decide kar lenge." All the youngsters agreed and then started deciding who will do what.
