Everyone came back to their home. Manik was still thinking about who can be the one behind all this. He wanted to know everything but K-sisters were not letting him know anything which was frustrating him.

MALHOTRA mansion

Manik is working on his laptop and talking to Yash on phone.... sorry not talking shouting on him.

M-" Yash, check all the files and PPTs. Mujhe koi last min. Problem nahi chahiye. Is that clear!!!!"

Y-" ye....yes sir. Ho jayega. Every thing is ready sir."

M-" Mr. Watson and unke P.A. ko kal tum pick karoge. Their flight will land at 7 am. So make sure u reach on time. Meeting evening me hai. So it won't be a problem. Unko malhotra ke guest house mein lejaana hai."

Y-" ji sir." Thinking * kahan phas gaya main babaji. Airport mere ghar se 2 hrs ki duri par hai. Main kya ghar se 5 baje niklu? Mummy kyun li Maine MH mein Manik sir ke P.A. ki post.😭*

Nandini enters the room with the dinner and see Manik hyperventilating and taking out all his anxiety and nervousness on Yash in form of his anger. She shakes her head in disbelief ad went to him and snatched the phone.

N-" Yash listen to me. Just do ur work the way you were instructed before and yes go to sleep cos I think to pick Mr. Watson tmrw you will have to getup at 4 in the morning so go. And don't worry ok. Baaki sab kaam kal office mein aake karna."

Y-" Thank u so much ma'am. You saved me. Good night."

N-" Itd Nandini for u Yash. Sir apne boss ko bolo tum mere ko Nandini hi bolo as I'm not ur boss. And good night." She smiled and looks at Manik who was making wierd faces listening to her.

M-" Nandini tum Kya kar rahi ho yahan. Just go home. And main abhi busy hoon. So main nahi drop kar paunga take a driver And then go. Akele matt drive karna." He says all this reading a file and searching something.

Nandini just held his hand and keeps the file on the teapoy and makes him sit on the bed. She gets the food which she got for him and sits next to him and forwards a morsel.

M-" Nandini ....Abhi bhook nahi hai mujhe. Main khaa lunga. Pakka. Plz bohot kaam bacha hai Abhi. New year and also concert ke chakkar mein main yeh sab nahi dekh paya."

N-" Manik Malhotra keep ur mouth shut and eat first. Tumne theek se lunch bhi nai kiya tha. An dinner bhi skip karna chahte ho. Muh kholo and eat. Nahi toh main abhi Chachi ko bulaungi, then u know na woh kaise khaana khilati hai. She will make some new dish and make u feed that."

Manik just nods his head frantically and opens his mouth immediately. Chachi ke haath ka nahi khaana usse.and he knows ek baar Chachi thaan le toh she will only go once he finishes his food.

N-" Manik sab thik hoga don't worry na. Tumne aur baaki sab ne milke saara cheez tayaar Kiya hai na. Why worry then? Bas aaram karo tum. I know u are gonna get this project." She smiled at him and caress his head making him understand like a mother does to her child.

M-" I know Nandini. ajeeb lag raha hai. Like something is not right. I can't loose this one yaar. Yeh mom and Dad ka dream project hai. I need to win this. And Watson se behtar investor koi nahi. Bas Delhi ke uss land par woh music rehab khul jaaye."

N-" Tum kabse insab baaton par pareshaan hone lage. It's nothing Mani. Just calm yourself down. And be positive. Yeh dream project tumhara hai aur rahega."

Baat karte karte Manik ka khaana bhi ho jaata hai. And Nandini gets up and cleans area and calls the servant to take everything.

Manik just lays on the bed and was seeing his STAR taking care of everything. He imagines the scenario and thinks ki shaadi ke baad she will be a perfect wife for him. Abhi se uska khyaal rakhti hai aage bhi aise hi rahega. Thinking all this he blushes a little.

Manik then just pulls her by holding her hand which makes her fall on the bed with him.

N-" Manik!!!!!Kya kar rahe ho.? Hatto I need to go home. You go and sleep."

M-" naah.... ab mood nahi hai. You made me eat such tasty food na so now you should get a reward in return na." He says smirking at her and kissing her hands in between.

Nandini gets up again but this time he held her tightly and didn't let her go.

N-" Manik mujhe koi reward nahi chahiye. Tum.. Mujhe chodo. "

M-" par mujhe dena hai na." He tucks her hair strands.

They had some cosy moments and then Nandini was keeping her head on his shoulder and Manik was just looking at her.

N-" Manik tumhe pata ha jab ma chotti thi na toh I always used to wonder k ma Apne prince ko kaise pehchan paaoungi toh chachi hamesha kehti thi ki jab tumhara prince milegana toh tumhe Kabhi puchne ki zarrorat Nahi padegi. Tumhara Dil tumhe guide karega aur Jaise yeh fireflies Raat hote hi chamak ne lagte haina aur usey zyada khoobsurat banati ha vaise hi vo tumhari sabse haseen palon Ka reason hoga." I never understood it's meaning but I now know what she meant after meeting you. She looks in his eyes and whispers "Thank you manik for being the firefly to my life."

Manik pulls her close and kisses her forehead " and thank you for being the shining STAR to my life."

Next Day

Malhotra Heights

Today was a very important day for MH. The project on which they were working for months was finally going to pay off. Today was the day their boss will reach one step closer to his dream. Anticipation was clearly seen on everyone's faces. The always calm and displined demeanour was nowhere to be seen as the place was bustling with energy doing last minute checks. The k-sisters were also very nervous. They had spent the whole night setting their trap for the traitor and now it was time to wait.

Neha- Gannu ji, ye project sir k liye bohot imp. ha, pls pls pls sab plan k hisaab se jaaye. Agar ye project milgaya na toh I promise ma apko 2kilo laddoo chadaungi. Infact manik sir se kehkar Apke liye party bhi rakhungi, but pls sir k sapne ko tutne mat dena. Ye unke mom dad Ka dream tha kisiki buri nazar mat lagne dena bappa."

Neha was praying continuously trying to bribe her gannuji when Yash comes there and sees neha sitting on her knees in the corridors with her hands folded. He looked here and there but sees no one.

Yash's outfit

Yash- "ye Apne knees p kya Kar rahi ha? Punishment Mili ha kya, par ye school thodi na ha??" He makes a confused face and taps neha on her shoulders but she ignores him and continues her convo with gannuji

Yash- Oh my God!!! Kahin project Ka tension sar p toh Nahi Chad Gaya. Mummy hamesha kehti thi zyada stress Lene se dimaag kharab hojata ha. Bichari, kaam k pressure ne dimaag k circuit ma locha Kar diya ha iske isliye akele badbada rahi hai."
He kneels in front of her and again calls her

Neha gets irritated- kya ha tumhe? Dikh Nahi Raha ma busy hu."

Yash(Mera shak Sahi nikla)- "neha tumhe itni pressure leneki zarrorat Nahi ha, itna kaam karti ho Dekho ab dimaag bhi band ho Gaya tumhara"

Neha looks at him with wide eyes. She gets really angry.
Neha- "kya matlab ha tumhara? Ma tumhe pagal dikhti hu??"

Yash - bilkul Nahi, balki k corridor p haat jodke bethna bilkul normal ha."

Neha- oh hello! Ma yahan p aisa hi Nahi baithi thi balki gannuji k Saath deal karrahi thi aur vaise bhi mera picha Karne k alawa koi kaam Nahi ha kya?."

Yash- "haina bohot ha par tumhe dekhta hu toh sab bhul Jata hu, tere alawa aaspass Kuch dikhhayi Nahi deta. Kabhi Kabhi khud ko bhi bhul Jata hu."

Neha thinks* pagal aadmi, mere ko keh raha tha mera dimag kharab hai are mind toh iska boundary bahar chala gaya hai*

Neha- kyu? Snickers Ka bar dikhti hu ma tumhe k tum khudko bhul jate ho?ya phir amnesia hogaya ha? Agar aisa ha toh jaldi psychologist se consult karalo manik sir ko pata Chala toh kaam se pakka Nikal denge, ma tumhari appointment bhi fix karadungi acche psychologist k Saath."

"Kahan Chala tha iske Saath romance Karne aur khudka kachra Kar diya." Yash mutters under his breath.

Sharanya's outfit

At the same time, sharanya comes there and just looking at neha's irritated face and yash's puppy face, she knew k uski Behen ne phirse majnu Ka Dil Tod Diya ha. Shaking her head she approaches the two.

Sh-" hey handsome! How r u."

Yash smiles at her and answers- "chalo koi toh ha Jo mere good looks ko admire karta ha."* to which neha rolls her eyes*, I am sexy as always and winks."

N- tumhe koi kaam Nahi ha kya?
Y- "oh shit! I have to check the presentation to see if everything's alright. There can't be any mistakes."

Sharanya and neha starts panicking. They can't let Yash check the presentation Nahi toh unki saari mehnat Pani ma mil jayegi (otherwise all their hard work will go to waste)

Neha seeing Yash acts to faint
Aahh...ouch...mera sar chakra raha ha(my head is spinning).

She holds her head and grabs the nearby table as if not able to stand.
Yash seeing his love faint grabs her before she falls down

Y- neha! Kya hua? Are u alright?

Sh- " I think she's feeling weak. Kal Raat ko bhi tikhse Kuch khaya Nahi ha isne. Aur uparse yeh project k vajah se pressure bhi bohot badgaya." Sharanya frowns and acts worried
(dono Behen acting ma no.1 ha, aakhir drama queens Jo ha😉).

Yash pats neha's cheeks and makes her drink water from his bottle. Seeing his caring nature, neha was feeling guilty of lying but in her defense there was no other way to make him stop. She convinced herself that there's no harm in telling small lies if it's for greater good.

Yash and sharanya take neha to the clinic ward of MH which was inside the office. Yash hadnot forgotten about the presentation but neha's health was most important to him. He was not going to leave neha for some Watson. He figured that since meeting is at evening he will have plenty of time to cross-check.

Clinic ward

The doctor had run some checkups on neha and now they were waiting for reports.

( I know guys k reports itni jaldi Nahi aati but since it's fiction so pls don't mind it and also mughe hospitals k baare ma zyada idea Nahi ha toh Kuch mistake ho toh maaf kardena)
After 30 mins
A nurse came in the waiting room and called for neha
Nurse- Ms. Neha Kapoor?
N- yes?
The nurse smiled at her and said "congratulations, aap maa banne Vali ha"

Listening to the nurse, teen logon k pairon se zameen khisak gayi.

Neha was thinking *arey Yaar, Maine toh aaj tak Kabhi kiss bhi Nahi ki ha aur ye nurse bol rahi ha ma pregnant hu? Ha mana sapne ma mere aur Parth ki kiss hone Vali thi but Uske pehle Sharu me bed se gira Diya tha. Par Sapna dekhke bhi pregnant ho sakte ha kya? Hmm search karna padega.* She was brought out of her thinking zone by her sister's shouts.

Sh- "WTH aunty! Dekhiye hame pata ha k meri Behen bohot khoobsurat ha aur bholi bhi lagti ha but iska matlab ye Nahi k aap aisa Ganda joke karenge. Meri Behen pregnant Nahi ha, arey abhi tak uska first kiss bhi Nahi hua ha toh vo maa kaise bansakti ha? Bacchhe aasman se girte ha kya aise hi Kisiko pregnant Karne k liye?"
Sharanya was full on tigress mode, how dare this Moti aunty say something like this about her sister?

The nurse was confused and asked isn't your name Neha Kapoor?
N- "yes I am but I am not pregnant that's for sure."

Nurse- par your reports says that you are 2mnths pregnant

Sh- show me the report
She checks the report.

She hands it back to nurse- "yes, its written neha Kapoor but here this lady is 44yrs old. Meri behen kis angle se aapko buddhi dikhti ha? Duniya ma sirf ek hi neha Kapoor Nahi ha, bohot saare logo k same names hote ha and here ye lady k husband Ka naam Likha ha so clearly she's married and that too for 20 yrs jab ham bacche the. This is how you guys work? Aisa Kisi heart patient Ka report tum low bp vale insaan ko doge kya. Why the hell you are working as a nurse if u can't even read the reports properly before giving?"

The nurse realises her mistake and apologies- I am sorry ma'am, aage se Kabhi Nahi hoga but pls don't report me Varna meri job chali jayegi."

Neha thinking*aye hayee.. yahan meri jaan chali jaati, iss aunty ko apni job jaane ki padi hai. Khai chod Neha galti ho gayi hogi*

N- it's ok, ye Baar ham Jane de rahe ha just make sure k next time aisi koi Galti mat Karna. You can ruin someone's life with your one mistake so be careful."
In all this chaos there was one person who was in most shock

Yes you guessed it right

Yash had not even blinked his eyes after hearing the news. He was pretty sure he wouldn't feel so stunned even if Donald trump would resign his post and decide to go to Himalayas and live as a hermit. Hearing the nurse's words he felt as if someone has taken his heart out of his chest and played football with it, crushing it badly. He was not able to hear anything, he's mind constantly repeating that you missed the chance over and over.

Neha taps him making him come from his nightmare land. He looks at her with teary eyes and whispers" you are pregnant, no longer mine."

Neha scrunches her eyebrows- "Didn't u hear what just happened? I am not pregnant that was a mistake."

Yash smiled so wide, he looked like a kid in a chocolate shop hearing neha. 

He pulls her close and hugs her tightly-" Really!! I thought, I lost you."

neha could hear his heart beats and her mind declared it to be the best music she ever heard. They were so lost in each other that they didn't realise that sharanya was standing right there waiting for them to come out of their  la-la world, par ye Dono toh bichhadne ka naam hi nahi le rahe the 

Sh- ahem ahem!! Ye office ha thoda aajubaju dekhliya Karo romance Karne se pehle."

Hearing her Yash and neha realised their position and quickly broke the hug.  They start looking here and there. Neha felt a blush creeping on her cheeks

Y- I..I have to go and check the board room and looks at neha and kisses her forehead and whispers "take care of yourself."

Neha could only nod, the hug had did some magic on her, she never let a guy come close to her reserving herself only for her prince charming but don't know why she liked being in yash's arms. When yash broke the hug her mind protested, she wanted to stay in his arms forever. In that few seconds,  she felt protected, as if no one can harm her as if she had found her own personal home which she never wanted to leave. 

N- thinking *neha, Tu pagal ho gayi ha. Ami Sahi kehti ha mughe movies dekhna Kam kardena Chahiye, isliye aisa sab Soch rahi hu....mughe abhi project p focus Karna ha. Yash ko distract kardiya now sab hamare plan k hisaab se hoga.* She smirks thinking about it.

Sharanya smiled looking at her sister "looks like she has finally found her love"

Here in MH Manik ne pura office sar par utha kiya tha. He was searching for Yash par uska toh ata pata hi nahi.

M-" where the hell is Yash? Usko files check karne and presentation ready rakhne ko bola tha. Ek kaam dhang se Nahi karta, zarror Ms. Neha Kapoor k piche ghumra hoga. Let him come, I am not gonna leave him. Manik mutters angrily being in his monster mode. He rings the bell and John comes inside.
John- s..sir u called me?
M- No, I asked you to give me a lap dance. He smiled sarcastically 
John looked as if his eyes are about to pop out hearing manik ' bu..but sir, I am married and have 3 kids'

(John's reaction)

Manik shouts "do you think that I am interested in you then? I am ringing the bell that means I called you didn't I ?can't you note sarcasm, who the hell hired you, I am gonna fire that fool right now
*John wanted to point out k usko toh manik sir ne hi hire Kia tha, agar vo khudko fire kardenge toh company kon chalayega,but he knew better than to voice out his thoughts*

M- "where the hell is Yash and have you arranged the board room"

John- ms. Neha had fainted so he was in the clinic ward with k-sisters and yes sir all arrangements are done.

M- ok, you can go now
After John goes, manik sits in his chair and rubs his temples trying to calm himself down. He took his phone and opened a picture of Nandini and felt all his tension go away.

She always manages to calm him down even when she was not physically present. Her one smile and manik would feel as if his body was not in his control anymore. Before meeting nandini he never thought that he could love someone so madly. He thanked nandu k ayyappa for sending the angel to his life. He was caressing her picture when he saw a file containing the list of all the companies who had participated. He furrowed his eyebrows seeing the list because he clearly had given it to Yash to check it, then what was it doing at his table? He looked through the list but his eyes stopped at one name whom he had never imagined to be competing against him.
