She helped me to put on my dress : which was

Off-the-Shoulder, Embroidered Lace, Rhinestones, Lined Bodice (Front), Illusion Back, Train, Bra Cups. The dress was also very comfortable since the inside was made of silk.

and she picked the colour of shoe to wear on it.

"You're good to go, baby"

"Thanks, mum! I have just five minutes left and he would be here"

I walked down the stairs and immediately I got to my seat too, the doorbell rang. I opened the door and there he was looking so sexy and attractive.

"You look beautiful" he complimented

I know don't be so sweet,

Can you be a nice girl with me for one night?

"You don't look bad yourself" I complimented back with a smile.

Are u happy now. Ab chale.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes I am but hold on," I said as I informed my mum about me leaving. "Now we can leave"

"Bye! Nandini and take care" my mum waved at me through the window.

He took me into his expensive car and opened the door for me as I entered the front seat while he sat at the driver's seat. The entire drive was awesome! We got to know each other more and it wasn't that bad after all.

We got to our college and we drove inside and he parked his car. He opened the car door for me and when I came down, he wrapped his left arm with mine as I walked into the college building where the party was taking place. We searched for an empty seat to sit as the loud music kept playing. So many couples were dancing on the dance stage while some were making out and having a friendly conversation.

We just sat there staring at each other like we were having a staring contest. We were both distracted by one of the waiters who was serving wine. I took a glass cup full of wine from him, as did Manik.

"Will you do me  an honour by dancing with me?" He asked with his hand facing my direction.

"Yes I will," I said with my hand placed in his hand.

He took me to the dance floor as we slowly danced to the song.

"Wow! You dance beautifully, Nandini"

"Thanks"

"Come with me" he pulled my hand as we walked out of the room to somewhere else entirely.

"Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise!"

I was wearing heels so I couldn't walk fast so I just followed behind him. He then stopped me and told me to close my eyes, pulling me towards where I have no idea.

"Now open your eyes"

"Wow!" I was so speechless and amazed.

I was in a building full of flowers that shines brightly. They look so breathtaking. I love the flowers.

"This is creativity"

"Yeah, I know. You love flowers?"

"Absolutely yes!"

He walked closer to me, to the extent that I could feel his breath on me. Our lips were not too far from each other and when he was about to lean in to kiss me.

“Manik” I called him softly.

“Tell me princess” he answered almost immediately.

His response brought tears in my eyes. He called me princess after six freaking years. It felt like heaven listening to it from his mouth but now was not the time to rejoice. I looked up to see Manik looking at me with an emotion that used to be familiar to me once upon a time but again it’s all the past and he isn’t in his right state of mind.

“Manik! What’s wrong with you? Why have you come here?” I asked him slowly.

“I missed you,” he said, making my heart flutter.

I knew I would end up in tears if he started behaving like this. All those memories came in front of my eyes for a minute. Our friendship, our unsaid love, those eye locks, everything, everything that was there between us. But it’s all in the past. Tomorrow Manik is again going to loathe me. Again he would look at me with hate filled eyes. All I can do is to cherish this moment with him.

“Did you have dinner?” I asked him to caress his cheek.

“No! I didn’t. I was missing you! I told you right!” he answered or rather shouted.

“Okay! Okay! Now like a good boy go and sit in my room. I’ll get dinner for you” I said and he nodded with a pout

“Manik dinner” I announced in a chirpy voice.

“Pizza!” Manik exclaimed and snatched the plate.

He was not the first man in my life but he was the only man I truly ever loved. There were times when all I wished for him to find me and take me away with him. I was in my thoughts when his voice snapped me out of my la la land.

“I’m done!” he said grinning widely.

“That’s like a good boy!” I chirped back at him.

I placed the plate on the side table. I looked at Manik who was continuously looking at me like a sick child looking at their mother.

My heart pained to see him like this. He still loves me! He still loves me! But, he would for sure not remember anything tomorrow. I wanted to say that I truly love him but what’s the use. Even while confessing love he said I cheated him.

“Wait! Did you say I cheated you?” I asked, looking at Manik, who was already asleep.

I sighed and slept with him in my embrace. This was the best night of my life. I don’t know what the future holds for me but I’m definitely going to cherish this night.

"Wake up! Nandini breakfast is ready!"

Where am i! At home honey, last night you were drunk, manik brought you home.

It  was actually like a dream; the whole entire moment was just like a never ending dream.

Special Date with flowers and our moments.

I was talking to myself and then I was interrupted by my mom..

"What date?"

"The one which still looks like my dream!"

"You must be kidding me"

"I'm not it actually was like dream"

But honey it was real.. Manik beautifully carried you in his arms like bridal style and he put you up in bed. This morning he got a call and he had to go.

"Just come downstairs to have your breakfast"

I was so angry at myself to think that was a dream, to be drunk and let him go like this without a morning kiss. I decided to check my phone for any notifications. A notification popped up on my phone and I saw that Manik texted me : good morning sunshine hope you don't forget our moments . And only that made me blush red the entire day.
