Nandini was shocked and shy but as everyone was looking at her so she decided to gather her courage and perform. She started strumming her guitar and closed her eyes. Nandini started humming softly as she played her guitar. There was pin drop silence around the room leaving only her voice to be heard with the guitars strings being played.

She ended her song by humming the same way she did at the beginning with the tune being played by the guitar fading with her voice. She opened her eyes as slowly and gently to remain the effect of the music around the atmosphere and what she saw was unexpected. Everyone was stood up with wide eyes. Some had there mouths opened and some were smiling. In about a second or more they started hooting, cheering and clapping uncontrollably. Her voice gave peace to everyone and they were left speechless even nandini didn't knew about her hidden talent as she was left surprised. She was getting appreciated nonstop but nobody got enough of it. Fab 5 Was dumbstruck by her voice and the music she played. They just couldn't believe that someone can play and sing just like them or maybe more.
Raghav (stopping the chaos by the students): "ENOUGH.....just calm down and sit back down"
Everyone sat down and there was awkward silence
Raghav: "ok...so....wow nandini I am impressed....so now I will choose a boy....how about you harshad?"
Harshad (to himself): " all my efforts to look cool will be wasted, if I don't sing. I need to impress her this time or never. God!! Harshad just get a grip of yourself an show her harshad chez kya hai"
sweat beads drip from his forehead but harshad vows to stick with it, since nandini is looking at him.
Note: guys as I mentioned before starting this chapter about the song selection so I will chose a song from the comments that was suggested after "raabta" which was "teri galliyan by Ankit Tiwari"
Harshad starts strumming his guitar and looks at nandini. He is once again fallen in love by her innocence and her pouty lips that he so wants to kiss. He looked in her doe like eyes and finds himself drowning in them which is when he starts singing with all his passion nd desire added to his song giving it a deep and magical feeling to the audience.

He ends his song still lost in nandini's brown doe like eyes. His trance gets broken by the clapping of the audience.
Anyone with half a brain would be totally onto how very much harshad is in love with nandini (or at least in grand infatuation), but I suppose half her brain is perpetually fixated on her mystery man that comes in her dream so she brushes harshad attentions aside. That means all his efforts to look cool are wasted, although he doesn't know it.
Now coming to nandini, all through harshads song she is deeply engrossed in her thoughts, trying to figure out the reason of maniks gaze which is on her. Her thoughts also comes to a halt when she hears continous clapping and she finds the reason which is none other than harshad.
Raghav: "GUYS....enough now.....so I see Nandini has competition so now who else would like to come and perform.....how about fab 5.....I believe you also want to perform and want to flaunt your smartness...so let's see what you got"
Fab 5 in unison (with there signature smirk): "as you wish sir"
Fab 5 came and took there positions: Cabir at the back with the drums, dhruv at the corner of the right with his guitar, alya with her piano next to cabir on the left hand side, mukti with her electric guitar in the left hand side corner opposite dhruv and last but not the least manik with his guitar in the front but in between aliya nd cabir with his smirk.
Note: guys I will chose "marjayia by Vishal Dadlani & Sunidhi Chauhan" as it was sung by manik in season one and it suited his voice and in this situation it will go along. This song was suggested by Sakshi Maheshwari so thankyou for suggesting this song. other's I will chose your songs for other situations and will make sure of that but please keep showering me with your amazing comments.
Anyways back to the story:
Cabir started by his beats and then dhruv and manik joined in by strumming their guitar matching up to cabir's beats. After a few mins mukti joined in and so did aliya with the all five making a similar tune manik started singing by closing his eyes and feeling the music.

All of a sudden Nandini's friends looked at her and sees she is competely lost in manik , to which they think that she got a crush on him.
Nandini was into another reverie — really, drama? Number 3 already? — wherein she corners her mystery man with her motorcycle gang, looking like a bad girl out of Grease while a pale imitation of "criminal" serves as background music.
Badass nandini confronts her mystery man, who backs away meekly, and she recites her line, which offers him the choice to either be with her or die.
And in her fantasy, her mystery man picks the coffin.

They ended the song with manik's humming and then there was a pin drop silence. Manik opened his eyes and looked around seeing nandini competely lost looking at him. He smirked and then there were clapping, hooting and cheering. People were whistling and going mad.
Raghav: "ENOUGH....ok so I guess there is a talented class here and I am proud to know"
Raghav's sudden shout breaks nandini's trance and finds herself looking at where manik was stood and looks away in a jerk. Manik sees this and smirks.
Raghav: "so wht I want you to do is with your friends I want you to create a tune and few lyrics to go with it. Each group will be given a theme so that you don't copy each others"
Everyone in unison: "ok sir"
Raghav: "ok then I want one person from each group come at the front and take a slip out of this bowl and take it in your group do not reveal your theme"
Everyone: "ok"
After 5 mins everyone had a slip and they started practising. In between nandini's friends asked her about what does she think about manik and she describes it as the situation of "he is nothing more than a stranger"
The day went over with a beautiful note where fab 5 partied and nandini, navya and shahid chatted on social media. Time to time nandini would end up drifting in her thoughts. Soon everyone slept and had a peaceful slumber with nandini having a dream of her mystery man. Let's see when destiny let's nandini meet her mystery man!!!!
The sun rays peeped through the curtains disturbing an innocent soul who was engrossed in the thoughts of her mystery man (I wonder when she will meet her mystery man :D). Her mum came in and started to wake her up from her slumber. After what seems a long time nandini woke up with a lot of difficulty and by looking at Sanjana's face it looked like she would pass out any minute (typical parents after trying hard to wake there kids :P)
Sanjana: "akir kar ma pe tarz aagaya"
Nandini: "mom shut up what is the time"
Sanjana: "half 10"
Nandini's eyes popped out after hearing that she looked at her mum then her alarm clock: "shittttttt.....trilok is going to kill me" and she ran leaving her mum burst into laughter
She reached college as soon as possible but when she looked at the time it could clearly be seen that she would faint. Her blood was sucked out of the body leaving her face look pale. She quickly ran in the college finding her self in the canteen.
Navya: "look who's here"
Nandini: "yaar....trilok is going to kill me.....shitttt"
Shahid: "yah....you are so dead"
Nandini: "haha. ...very funny...anyways i am going to my locker bye"
Her friends burst our laughing signifying that they have done something mischievous.
Nandini went and opened her locker finding a letter which was red in colour and it gave nandini a hint that it is a love letter. She opened it and got shocked seeing who it is of. It was of none other than harshad's (sorry guys I know you might be thinking that it's of manik :P)
Other Side manik opened his locker and saw a letter which was in pink. He opened the letter and started reading it and got shocked by seeing the name.
Flashback
Nandini's friends delivers a letter to manik's locker, then waits nervously for his response. The letter was kept after everyone left the day before so that nobody sees them. This was done as they misunderstood nandini and thought she likes him. They wanted to know his feelings for nandini.
Present:
He walks by the auditorium and shows nandini no recognition at all, navya shouts her name loudly, determined to make her friend known. Shahid joins her, and this time, they have a reaction.
manik (even though he knows but still to confirm): "Are you nandini?" He makes his way back to them, and holds out a letter to her. Students gather round curiously, and nandini barely contains her excitement as she opens it (poor girl doenst know yet what's going on)
Yet as soon as she starts to read, her excitement fades, replaced by crushing disappointment.
Soha has to live up to her designation as Mean Girl, so she swipes the letter from nandini's grasp, then crows about its contents. Manik hadn't written her a reply — he'd graded hers! The letter has been marked up in red pen, and he'd given her a D-.
Nandini doenst know who did this cheap trick on her. She thinks that first she recieved a love letter and now him which clearly says her name but even though she tried to justify her self the words just disappear leaving her blank. She doenst know what to do.
Soha positively exults and talks about it loudly for all to hear, while nandini can only stand there, humiliated. Meanwhile,
manik just stands there and tells nandini: "I'm sorry to say this, but I hate dumb girls."
Harshad comes in between seeing lots of people gathered around and confronts manik for his rudeness.
Harshad (in a demanding tone): "manik apologize to her"
Manik smirks: "For what, correcting her mistakes?"
Harshad retorts: "Do you only see the mistakes? Don't look at the letters, look at the contents!"
He challenges manik to fight and takes a swing, but the latter swiftly evades the punch however manik hands did not even move from his pockets.
The vice principal interrupts, and as manik is the golden child, he is dismissed while harshad is called in for disciplining.
manik goes to the notice board and puts his finger and starts searching for his name in the recent test results that they had the day before just then he spots nandini's name but to nandinis and her friends dismay they occupy the lowest marks in there class. He points to a second sign, which marks the 50 top students who are admitted to a special study hall each month.
Turning his scorn to nandini, he calls her thoughtless for choosing to waste her time rather than caring about more important things: "I hate thoughtless, impudent girls."
Nandini is devastated. Worst of all is probably the fact that he's not wrong she IS the lowest scoring student. Still, she hardly deserves such a drubbing from him.
She takes out her frustration by running around the school, exhausted and stumbling by the time she reaches lap 34. Her friends urge her to stop, but she insists on running two more laps. In a lovely moment of solidarity, they stand up to give her a hand (literally) and support her through her last lap.
Word of nandini's encounter with manik spreads through the school, making her the laughingstock. (Is it worse to be mocked by your peers, or pitied by the cafeteria and cleaning ladies? Thankfully we'll probably never have to know, but nandini has to endure)
She reaches home and everyone notice her glumness on her face. She directly went in her room and stayed there till her dad decided to accompany her.
Mohin: "beta what happened"
Nandini: "dad i dont like S.P.A.C.E and look I again got the lowest marks this is so not fair"
Mohin: "beta kabhi kabhi we go after things that are not meant to be ours and probably buisness is not just your cup of tea but I have noticed music is"
Nandini: "and..."
Mohin: "make a career in music"
Nandini's face lit up: "sachi"
Voice from back: "muchi"
Nandini and mohin turned around finding rishab and Sanjana with teary eyes
Nandini ran and hugged rishab as she is very close to him
Just then they heard the door bell all of them went downstairs finding shahid and navya. Nandini ran to them and hugged them.
Navya: "arrey wah....tum ab finally smile kar rahi ho"
Nandini: "leave that but you here that to at 6 in the evening"
Shahid: "didn't you like our visit"
Nandini: "arrey yeh kab bola mene"
Navya: "ishaara wahin tha"
The trio burst out laughing. They sat down for a delicious meal prepared by sanjana.
Sanjana sighs: "nandini didn't take after my cooking-skills."
Nandini: "you know mom I hate cooking"
Sanjana: "hmm I know"
Rishab: "but what will happen to our poor jiju after marriage"
Nandini: "bhaaaiiiiii....I told you na I won't cook means I won't"
Rishab: "ok baba I accept my defeat"
They had lots of fun and the day ended.
The next day
That's one more reason for nandini to become the focus of unwanted attention at school, and as she walks with her friends the next morning, they catch sight of a strange woman snapping photos of her. And for some reason, passing students keep looking at her and whispering to other people.
Harshad spots nandini: "hey nandini"
Nandini trying her best to ignore him but still greets him: "hi"
Just then manik walks past and harshad goes to him
Manik: "dude what's your problem....stay away"
Harshad: "why....The reason for my and nandini's problems is you then why should i"
Manik: "hang on....problems???"
Harshad: "why the hell did you make the shit out of a love letter that was not even written by her"
Manik: "on that it was written In bold nandini murty than"
Harshad: "and what .... don't make a big thing out of it. Intententially or unintentially you are hurting nandini"
Manik: "listen she did a wrong thing I pointed it out and then it's not my fault that I started talking to her and everyone started to gather around"
Harshad: "whatever....do you know she became a laughingstock"
Manik (not so interested): "so she deserved it and now stop wasting my time bye"
Harshad and manik left in two different directions. This scene was not unnoticed by navya and shahid who were engulfed by guilt on doing such a thing to nandini.
Lesson of pandit trilok chaurasia:
Trilok: "nandini I want you to ask for donations and stuff for the charity and navya will help you. Shahid you can give out leaflets and stuff."
Nandini: "yes sir"
The reason becomes clear for the charity later as they hear harshad on a megaphone, who has taken up a spot at the school's entrance calling for donations for the needy. He means well, but one hardly wants to be called pathetic and a charity case in front of her peers, so the girls slink away in mortification.
harshad spies on nandini and drags her into the circle, continuing his appeals for donations. Just as manik walks by. She'd like to ignore him, but harshad is harshad, he calls out for him grabbing his attention.
Harshad (makes a plan so that he gets lots of money and he takes revenge from him of nandini's) : "you shouldn't have messed with nandini but now i am here. Whatever you did with Nandini repay it by donating."
Manik shrugs and offers to contribute, then, and pulls out his wallet. He starts to put in Rs.20,000 which is when Nanidni finally speaks up.
Nandini: "she slaps harshad across the face: "harshad like seriously just to take revenge of what he did you are making him repay by donations. Have you gone mad? And you manik put this money away. I wouldn't accept your help even if I was a beggar under a bridge. And only donate if you really care for those people in need which I am sure you don't"
That doenst affect him at all, and he starts to leave. But now nandini really worked up and she bursts out again:
"Who are you to look down on people like that? I bet to you, all the kids here just look like idiots, huh? You think you can just mock us. Are you so great? So you have a high IQ? You're a good student? So you have a good-looking face and you're tall!"
Uh, that statement took a turn, and nandini realizes she's started to lose ground here. So she fumbles for a suitable retort: I CAN study. It's just that i have not been bothered to!"
Manik: "oh really then prove it."
Nandini can't back down now, so she says: I will score high enough in the next exam to score one of those seats in special study hall." Clearly not believing she can do it.
manik agrees: "ok so if you did it i will carry your piggyback for one lap around school if you succeed."
Internally, nandini does a little giddy dance at the prospect of being carried on his back, then tamps that down to coolly agree.
In murty mansion
Sanjana is thrilled to be reuniting with his old best friend, with whom he'd lost contact. They somehow get back togther. Sanjana's long lost friend is none other than nyonika malhotra.
Nyonika: "wah....today is the best day. ...kyun nah....We all go goa with our families to share everything that happened after we lost contact"
Sanjana: "perfect idea...so its done....how about on Saturday day after tomorrow"
Nyonika: "perfect....toh you lot come today at our mansion "
Sanjana: "ok"
Nandini came back home and she got the news that they are going to some nyonika malhotra's mansion. She quickly when to her room got her shower. She wore her black jeans with a red netted top with red high heeled shoes. She put on black nailpolish, kohl and red lipgloss. She tied her hair in a pony tail she looked a complete angel cane down from heaven.
Note: guys in college she is simple doenst put makeup on and wears simple clothes and at home she is a complete different person. That's why nobody gives her any attention (you know girls like to talk about make up and jewellery and like to make friends like them) it's the similar case here.
One more thing I know you might be thinking about rivalry of murty's and malhotra's but it's just that no body likes to say no to sanjana so they readily accepted but during other chapters they will be fights and arguments in between malhotra's and murty's .
Back to the story:
Murty's sat off to malhotra mansion. When they arrive, nandini marvels at the grand house ( a but bigger than nandini's)
Sanjana is the closest friend of nyonika who is married to ashok both of whom are very friendly and give nandini a warm welcome.
asholk: "hi nandini remeber me you have grown...wow"
Nandini: "yes uncle"
Nyonika: "you are quite pretty"
nandini: "thanks"
nyonika: "ramu kaka aap joa aur meray Bete ko bolao"
Ramu kaka: "ji madam"
A guy comes down in his black jeans and white top with a black blazer. His hair was perfectly gelled up. Every girl could go gaga over him if they seen him in this state.
He came down and nyonika introduced him: "yeh hai....mera beta manik"
Nandini looked at him and at the same time manik looked at her. There face were expressionless like the two kiddos who just discovered each others presence were experiencing life without a soul.They both froze so did the screen.
